Everything was a little bit chaotic since the recent incident, mainly Ponyville since its the closest place that is near the Everfree Forest. Ponies had a lot of questions and nopony were getting answers, which scared them as some would start to overthink it. One of those ponies is Twilight Sparkle, an Alicorn Princess of Friendship. Which were being observed by her six.. no, seven friends with worried expression on their faces. No doubt it would cause a lot of mayhem, as some ponies including Twilight saw it with their own eyes. A bright pillar of light piercing through the sky, and making a loud BANG when it disappear. Twilight was still researching for anything that sounds familiar in one of the dozen books in her library. Finally, one of the ponies spoke up to confront the disheveled maned, purple Alicorn princess named Twilight from creating anymore mess of papers, scrolls and books for the sake of researching.
"UUGH! Twilight, This is getting nowhere! Why don't we just go over there and see what the bucking fuss is all about."
A blue Pegasus with a rainbow colored mane and tail spoke, breaking the "silence" that the room had.
"Ah agree with rainbow." Spoke the orange earth pony with a blonde colored mane and tail. "If we're tryin to figure this out, why can't we just go out there an see it fer our selves?"
"For the last time, no. Princess Celestia hasn't replied the letter I sent her. Plus, who the buck knows whats out there and what caused that... light thing to just explode through the sky like that. Not to mention that its in the middle of the Everfree Forest! What if its a new villain or something?" She exclaimed. Flailing her hooves as she does so.
"Ouh darling please." Another pony spoke, this time its a white unicorn with a very stylish mane and tail that is purple in color."It has been hours since that occasion, and I myself cannot stand my own curiosity at this point. Even if it means that i will venture out into the dirty wilderness. Can't we go? please?" She said, while giving the princess the famous puppy eyes that everypony knows about.
"Starlight?" ask Twilight, referring to her prized pupil.
"Well it is a good idea but, if its a villain then we should prepare and wait for it to come to us right? Besides, there are enchanted gems inside the Everfree Forest not far from Ponyville that can detect movement, and will send an alarm immediately to the crystal castle and the watchtowers, especially when they are destroyed or disabled. Plus, Ponyville has a guard system now remember? The're job is to keep this town safe from anything that is considered as a threat. I say we stay here until everypony calms down first." She explained
"Fine, we'll wait." sighed Rainbow Dash with frustration.
"But that ain't fair, Its three against two. Ah wanna hear what Fluttershy and PInkie are thinkin." Applejack objected while crossing both of her forelegs.
"Oh.. I don't mind, but it will be a short trip for me because i need to get back home early to feed my cute little critters at home." Says the yellow pony with a light pink colored mane and tail.
"well what about it pinkie?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Pinkie?" there were no answers.
"BOO!"
"GAAAAH!" Screamed Rainbow Dash as she flew upwards and hit the ceiling. The whole room was filled giggles and laughter instantly after seeing her reaction by Pinkie pie's jump scare.
"Best. Prank. EVER!
"hehehe~ why don't we just wait for Princess Celestia to reply" says Twilight while giggling like a school filly.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Everfree Forest.On the side of the a mountain. A mysterious creature is sitting down eating an apple while leaning on a tree. its a bipedal creature. A human.

I finished the apple i was eating and buried it. Don't question me. After the quick snack, a quick wipe for my glasses, a quick double check on my personal belongings, I packed my stuff before I realized that I'm high enough to see Ponyville from here. It looks a lot more modern than usual.
"Ponyville seems different in this one." I said.
"Ah yes, in this universe civilization and technology has advance quite decently." Meet Concord, the light element. I usually call him Con or Cony. Elements don't really have names so, i had to give them one.
"C'mon, move it. The plan is to get to Ponyville before the sun goes down remember?" And that was Genocide, the dark element (yes i'm a professional edgelord i know). For him its usually Gen.
"Alright, alright i'm going." I continued my walk through the Everfree Forest following the road that leads to Ponyville. After several minutes, I decided to do a mental checklist of the tasks that needed to be done today. They were delayed for far too long than i'm comfortable with, i needed to get back on track. "So.... powered up a generator from that sci-fi place, we helped Daring, we destroyed the core of GOOs that created the pillar of light as usual, whats next?" There was a short pause before one of them spoke.
"That is all for now Alter, they are no more quests that needs to be done" says Cony. Yeah.. no that's not my real name, since i gave them nicknames myself they decided to give me one too. Wait, there aren't anymore?
"Then, why are we heading too Ponyville?" I asked curiously. "Can't we just sit here and camp out?" There was another short pause before one of them spoke, this time its Gen.
"Yeah well... one, the forest is fucking dangerous. Two, the smoke from the campfire will attract attention, and you hate attention for some fuckin reason. And three, i'm pretty sure a hotel is better than a camp. So why the fuck not?" Gen explained. Being sweary as ever. They sure are defensive when comes to my safety.
"But.. what if they find me suspicious? I'll be coming OUT of the forest to enter Ponyville, which is the direction where light thing was. Not to mention that i'm wearing a black hoodie, a sword sheath with a sword in it, carrying a bag full of dangerous tools and a pair of jeans with a lot of pockets that's filled with-"
"You'll be fiiiiiine. Just go with the flow, we'll teleport you out when things starts to go south. Besides, when is the last time you had a proper home to sleep in?..... Yeah i don't think so." he said cutting me of. That last part did conjure some bad memories, yeah.... waking up to something that's trying to kill you is never a good way to start a morning.
"i'm worried about how you even recognize a situation that goes south." I sighed, hoping the ponies at Ponyville would just ignore my presence. I would be in such relief if that happens. But i know all too well that that's not gonna happen, i noticed the guard system that they had while overlooking Ponyville. And i'm pretty sure that only scratched the surface of what security they have in there.
"Just do not forget to use your transformation gem before you reach the destination. It can cause quite an attention when used" Cony reminded. Oh yeah, the thing that I wear around my neck all the time.
"Ouh.... right." I said, looking down to see that said gem which is tied to a simple yellow thread. I guess at this point its basically an enchanted makeshift necklace. The blue gem has two symbols on each side. A dark horseshoe on one side, and a gray hand print on the other telling me that it holds the pony form inside. I stopped in my tracks and look straight forward down the road. hmmm, it might take an hour to get to Ponyville by now. Maybe its about time i use it.
Back to Ponyville. An hour passes, Princess Celestia said that they should go and investigate while she sends more royal guards. Everything is set and twilight and her friends including starlight, are all ready to head out. except for spike, poor little dragon only wants to go on an adventure. But the princess of friendship says no unfortunately. Just when they were about to embark on their mission, the alarm went of. All of the watchtowers are alerted and Twilight is checking the radar of Ponyville on the cutie map. Judging by the red blinking dot that is moving closer to the center of the radar, there's definitely something out there. Twilight and her friends quickly gallop through the big front door of the crystal castle and was heading towards the closest gate where the red dot is located, alerting the guards that are nearby. By the looks of their faces, It didn't take long for them to realize that something is happening.

From the very edge of the Everfree Forest, a pony in a dark hoodie is casually trotting its way to the gate of Ponyville. "Some of the guards are already at the gate, by looks of it they're expecting something even before i got into there line of sight. I knew those gems had to do something with security, they're probably motion detectors or something." He thought to himself. Suddenly, something purple caught his eye. "Wait, is that-"
"HALT, STRANGER!" One of the guards yelled out.
"Welp, here goes".
two hours before sunset
"So let me get this straight." says Twilight, trying to recap what Alter told her. Which is the Earth Pony that has a light grey coat, a white mane with a black stripe and a black tail with white a stripe. His mane and tail have basically opposite color positions. "You're one of the royal guards from Canterlot that took a day off and decided to visit Ponyville, because you've never been here."
"Yes princess." agreed the liar.
"But before you book a hotel room, you decided to take stroll through the Everfree Forest. And since building a wall around the train station is not finished yet, you trotted 'through' the construction and straight into the forest." she continued while giving the 'i am not amused' facial expression. "And you expect me to believe that?"
"Fuck"
"Seize him, secure his belongings!" Twilight shouted. Every single guard that he can see is now armed and ready to attack. He tried to make a defensive stance before his body started to glow.
"What the-." Instantly with a bright white flash he was teleported elsewhere not far from the previous scene, but far enough to make a run for it. The flash was enough to blind everypony, which is another good advantage.
"Run Alter, run!" He wasted no time and started running from the law itself, which gave him a sense of Deja vu . "Ouh and, we also have another problem"
"Really? now? for fuck sake." he said under heavy breaths. "I really need to work out more"
"DON'T LET HIM ESCAPE!" shouted the Princess of Friendship. the sound of clopping hooves were everywhere, making him shudder.
"Remember when you destroyed the core of GOOs and there are some GOOs left alive and we told you to leave them for others? well the 'others' didn't finish their fucking job. To make matters even more fuckin worse, the GOOs decided to bunch up together creating a Colossus. " Gen explained with a mix of annoyance and frustration in his tone.
"Follow me, I will lead you there" A ball of light conjures in front of him, moving at the same speed as his before turning right in to an alley. Turn after turn, close calls after close calls, He finally reached the wall on the other side the town before the ball of light disappear. Even while running, Alter can still feel the vibration coming from the other side of the wall. His legs and lungs were burning for far too long, he needed to stop. He skidded to a halt catching his breath to prepare for the giant that is about to come through.
"THERE HE IS!" A shout came from behind. Now he's just wondering which side should he deal with first. But that thought was interrupted by the loud banging on the wall, cracking with each blow. The guards were also skidded to a halt after noticing whatever monstrosity that's making that amount of damage to the wall. Alter's right foreleg glows white at the same time as the white gem on the sword's pommel. levitating it out of the scabbard. Floating it in front of him vertically, then to his right side horizontally. While moving his right hoof around in a waving motion that seems to be mimicking the sword, or, maybe its the other way around.
"Aaaany second now" He thought to himself, observing the wall with a giant crack that is getting worse and worse. A lot of civilians running away out of fear in every direction. Some of the guards trembled in fear but tried to keep their composure.
Then it finally came through.
BOOM
Rocks and pieces of shrapnel flew everywhere as the creature, the 'Colossus' smashed through the wall. Good thing he is in a safe distance from it. Alter's muscles tense up and took an offensive stance, ready to act as soon as the debris disappear so he can get a good look at what it is, one last time. Yellow eyes shone from the cloud of debris, its height from the ground rising up until it reaches what looks like 4 feet tall. "Hmm, there's at least 20 of em inside, alright, i can do this." He remark in his own thoughts. "If they aren't any more inconveniences while this is happening, everything should be fine."
The debris finally disappeared revealing the true form of it. Its body is made out of..well, goo. The goo is green in color, and its not dripping to the ground making it it easy to shape shift and not lose their essence bit by bit. This time, its taking the form of what looks like a wolf but with bear claws as paws. And with a sharp pointed tail. Alter immediately recognized that tail, he'll have watch out for flying spikes from now on. The creature roars upon seeing him, like it recognizes the face that killed its entire pack. The roar was deafening until the windows nearby cracked, some are even shattered. He launches forward despite the ringing in his ears, galloping as fast as he can. The Colossus's tail flicked and Alter's instincts instantly made him dodge to the left, the rushing breeze that he felt on his right cheek assured him that he did the right move.
After dodging countless flying spikes, tail swirls and getting minor cuts and bruises later, He finally got close to it, and its already trying to crush him with its huge paw. Seeing that the attempted assault was obvious, he dodge it easily. making a small but deep cut to the same fore leg that tried to flatten him when it hits the ground. It roars in pain as it lift back up. "Opportunityyyyyyyy~" he coos internally with a joyful tone. Time slows down, as Alter's 'left' fore leg is covered with some sort of black substance. The sword's edge glows bright white as scorching heat radiates from it. With a throwing motion of his left hoof, the black substance stretched and attached to the creature's upper neck like a grappling hook, sending him upwards.
Alter positioned his sword under its neck using the momentum to cut through half of it like a hot knife through butter, but that was only half it. Because of the momentum he was now thrown into the air above the Colossus. Preparing for the final blow and relying on his good old friend gravity."OFF, OF YOUR HEAD!" he falls down slicing the other half of the neck finishing the job.
Time resumes to normal speed, as he safely land on his hooves. He was breathing heavily trying to catch his breath. The decapitated head fell down beside him, giving a loud thud before disappearing into thin air. Same goes to the headless body, fell down on its side, and turned into nothing but thin green smoke. That's usually how it goes for these GOOs, he still doesn't know why. But his not complaining, since that meant cleaning things up was out of the question. The bright glow of the sword gets dimmer and dimmer until it turns back to normal, putting it back into the scabbard. Alter smiled, satisfied by his work. "This would go a lot smoother if i had friends" He laugh to himself. He heard a hoof step behind him and his ears flicked. He tried to turn around, but the next thing he knows his ears were ringing and his hooves were numb. He couldn't hear very well and his mind and body is getting tired by a sleep spell. He tried to fight it but it was a fruitless effort, not to mention that he was actually tired after that fight. His body drops to the ground as sleepiness consume his mind, he swore he could've heard yelling in the background. But it was muffled by the constant ringing in his ears. He close his eyes, letting the darkness consume his vision.

Twilight was writing notes for what seemed like forever, its like she can never stop creating more theories the more she find something that are out of the ordinary about this stallion. Which is tied, no.... chained. All four hooves chained and outstretched, a lot of attachments to a specific body part(mostly wires) that's connected to a specific machine, in an enchanted cage... Ok now that's what i call overboard. The desk was facing him so that Twilight can get a good look at him. She's writing her notes vigorously at this point. A bead of sweat forms on her forehead every now and then. She was constantly looking at her notes then to the chart, then back to her notes again. The more she finds something the more it fuels her need for more information.

Alter was sitting in the dark void of his dreams. He noticed the darkness and started to think of a way liven in up. "hmm, ouh! constellations from the night sky would be a beautiful background! as always" he giggled before trying to imagine a moon and some stars. But there was no effect. "huh, nothing happen, a nightmare maybe? But wheres the fear?" He thought aloud. Not noticing the figure behind him.
"Beautiful you say?"

"GAAH!" he screamed waking up from his deep slumber. This made the lavender Alicorn yelp at the sudden commotion. Silence falls between them as Alter looked around, well.. he tried to look around but it seems that he's missing his glasses. Assuming it was taken away, before noticing a purple blur in front of him. "Twilight?" he assumed again. "I can't see very well."
"I'm fully aware of that." she said.
"Well... uh, would you kindly?"
"No" she said blankly, making him think that she's mad at him or something.
"Probably because i lied, ran 'and' blinded her" he thought to himself while looking away before trying to think of another way to get them.
"Sorry, security reasons."
"Hm? What does my glasses had to do with security?" He ask curiously, "Maybe she's paranoid after what she saw."
"I.. won't take any chances" she blurted, making his ears drop down as well as his head and eyes. "I just can't take any chances, but i don't want him to think that i'm hostile either." She pondered, continuing the silence between them. While he was also in deep thought, weighing his options down.
"twilight's brain is beyond intelligent, i need to be careful, any subtle moves will always be obvious to her. She can't be mad by something that simple can't she?...No wait, uugh keep forgetting that she's different. Every alternate universe is different, some of it. I can't expect anything at this point, this chains are clearly enchanted.... Well only one option left, be friendly. Guess who i learned that from." He rambled internally as Twilight notices that he's in deep thought , she only hopes that it's something good. There were a lot of red flags in her brain as she noticed that he's a thinking type, pointing out that she should more than careful, but she ignored them. Making him feel that she is not a threat to him specifically was the first step.
"So uhh, what's your name?" She began, a slight awkwardness in her tone. Alter's ears perked as he lift up his head.
"Uhmm.. Alter, name's Alter. you? No wait, I've known that already. wow really?"
She giggled "Wow, he's already reaching Fluttershy levels of awkwardness." She caught her eyes staring at the Helvetica glasses on her desk. Her horn glows purple as she magically levitated the glasses to the owner. "Here, your glasses."
Alter can now finally see his surroundings, a joyful smile spread across his face. "Ouh! uh-thank you, i can see clearly now." He said with a relief and thankful tone on his voice.
"Nailed it!" Twilight thought to herself.
Looking at his surroundings, he noticed the amount of machines and charts all around the side and back of the cage. The front of the cage was where Twilight and her desk is, the floor was a mess, full papers of what he assumed to be information. Every machine has their own wires and cables to them, some of them are apart of the machine and some other are connected to his body. well, its not digging into his flesh, its just attach to it. It seems like every single of his body part has their own attachments, including his....... nether, regions. His eyes widen in shock and his pupils shrink to pinpricks, a huge bright shade of red forming on his face. Twilight looked at him in confusion, but that soon change once she realized what he's looking at. And then realize something again that she forgot to take those off.
"Oh no" Oh no indeed Twilight. He raised his head to stare at her with shock and terror.
"Wha- i-i- y-y-you- PERVERT!" he shouted.
"NO! its not what it looks like, i swear!"
