D.S.B.T: Match 1 - Mogene VS. Spike & Snipe.

With a snap of his fingers. The fourth door changes colors to blue, soon opening up to allow all of the guests to come in and take their seats, next were all seven fighters, two of them working together. Master Hand floated into the air and with a snap of his fingers, an oversized mic appeared in his ‘hand’. With a second snap, a broadcast was sent across the multiverse, allowing all Displaced to watch the Smash Tournament on their television or whatever device they have that has a screen.

“Welcome to the first annual multiverse Smash Bros Tournament!” His voice echoed through the space that the Final Destination floated inside. “Thank you all for coming. Before I announce the first match, I must mention some rules. The match will be a one on one fight except for this match since I'm allowing Spike and Snipe to fight like the ice climbers. Stamina Mode will be enabled, both of you start with a hundred HP. the main objective is to knock your opponent off the stage, or reduce their health to Zero. However, if they surrender, the win will go to you.” Master Hand said as he floated across the room.

“There will be no infinite way of flying, teleportation, or any form of advantage that will allow you to remain on stage. You cannot heal, not unless your opponent can do the same or if you are willing to heal them as well. Do not heal more than three times, we do not want a never ending match. You are not allowed to use any spells that can instantly knock out your opponent. If anyone fights dirty or cheats, they will be disqualified and will be turned into a Trophy temporarily until the end of the tournament .” Master Hand paused to breath. “The first match will be..” Master Hand paused again as a hologram screen appeared out of thin air as multiple portraits flipped around, soon landing on two fighters along with the stage they’ll be fighting.

“Mogeme VS. Snipe and Spike!” Master Hand announced. “You two will be fighting on Spear Pillar, the home two powerful pokemon. Do not worry about them interfering with the match, for they will just be spectating to make sure everything goes smoothly.” Master Hand as he turned to ‘look’ at each person and pony.
Twilight glanced down at her quill and parchment.

“Is it wrong that I want to record what happens?” Twilight asked, sparing Spike a worried look. “I know that’s not ‘my’ Spike, but…”

“Observe away, Princess,” Logan replied, his eyes locked on the fighters and his ears and tail perked like a dog that had scented a rabbit. “I could be facing them soon enough.”

“Huh, that dragon looks a lot like Barb.” Isabella says, currently in her normal form.

‘Weird seeing a version of him fighting.’ The red eyed ninja thinks, tilting her head.

“Heh.” Lucius says simply, before leaning forward.

With a snap of his fingers, the Final Destination flew through a blackhole, and yet everyone was left unaffected and undisturbed. Soon, they arrived at what looked to be an ancient ruin site. In the front, Dialga and Palkia stood, almost like kings sitting on their thrones. With another snap of his fingers, Mogeme and Phoenix’s pupils were teleported onto the area. Master Hand floats off and hovers over the Spear Pillar upon platforms. “Ready?!” Master Hand asked with excitement

Alexis' ultramarine-amethyst eyes narrowed slightly, watching the trio before her gaze shifted to the giant hand. "Then it's a good thing that combat through deception, whilst it does make things fun… it isn't my style. True, I don't reveal everything initially, but unlike some, I don't hide my skills," she considered.

Her hand drifted to the katana over her shoulder, feeling Aèviternùs vibrate ever so slightly as she sat in seiza, kneeling idly. She didn't have to look to know her brothers weren't far away. She suspected they were talking about her, though the specifics escaped her more because she wasn't interested in focusing on it. Her grip tightened on the hilt as she took a controlled breath.

Logan leaned closer, his eyes glittering eagerly. Next to him, Twilight had her quill and parchment at the ready.

“GO!” Master Hand yelled as he flew up higher so the fighters may go at it as the platforms dissolved, however he stayed close by to keep an eye on things, or in Master’s case, a finger.

Mogeme stood facing his opponents. He held on to one of his pistols. "Best give up kids, cause I ain't going easy on you." He says as he smirks.

The two kids gulped, before Spike put his hands up in a ‘one moment’ gesture. The two turned around, whispering into each others' ears. Then, after a few moments, they turned back around, kitted out with looks of fake confidence.

“You’re on!” Spike shouted.

"Then come at me kiddo!" Mogeme called, leveling his pistol at the young dragon. Reaching over his shoulder, Spike drew his weapon, releasing its energy into a green hue. Raising the tip of the sword to his eye level, he slowly approached his opponent in small steps.

Mogeme, looking at the kid as he slowly approaches, frowns. Then quickly unleashes a barrage of energy blasts at the dragon. "Hurry up. Your opponent won't wait for you." Mogeme stated coldly.

“So impatient, definitely gonna bite him in the end.” Lucius comments with a raised nonexistent brow.

Spike moved his sword to parry the closest to him, but was cut short by a flash of light. The flash went off another four times, destroying the attacks before they could hit their target. The last one was too sharp of an angle, and Spike had no choice but to slice it in two. That which he did, leaving a small ripple in the air where he had split through the atoms. He then turned round to see Snipe. He had already prepared his bow, and was aiming towards where the last energy shot had been. Putting two and two together, Spike nodded to his comrade before turning back to Mogeme.

“Wow! Spikes got some good moves there to make even Samurai Jack proud!” Master Hand spoke over the mic, adding his commentary.

“Go, Spike!” Twilight cheered. “Even if you aren’t ‘my’ Spike…” she added with a nervous giggle. Logan rolled his eyes, carefully analyzing the battle and its fighters.

Mogeme cocked his head to the side in confusion. "What the hell?" He then shook his head and narrowed his eyes. "Your friend over there is going to be a problem." He stated and then leaped over Spike and dashed towards Snipe, quickly switching to his sword and slashed Snipe.

“Cool.” Isabella says with a smile, the ninja giggles.

Moving to his right, Snipe attempted to dodge the surprisingly high speed attack. He managed to shy away from any major damage, but a large cut appeared across his cheek.

Wincing, Snipe spread his wings, flying back a few meters to regain his position as back up. Meanwhile, Spike had crept behind Mogeme -concealing his presence- and aimed for a quick cut to the left shoulder. Spike was smart enough to know this wouldn't kill him thanks to Master Hand, but his speed lowered a bit from hesitation to harm another.

Mogeme, hearing the faintest vibrations, turned quickly to see Spike attempting to cut him. Dodging out of the way the sword nicked his armored shoulder, cutting through the sturdy metal and his hard carapace skin. Wincing, Mogeme stumbled backwards. Noticing an intense burning feeling where the sword had grazed him.

Mogeme, clutching his injured shoulder, used his other hand to unleash a powerful blast of sound, dubstep edition, knocking back Spike.

“Eep!” Twilight whimpered, holding back her scream.

“Easy, Sparkle,” Logan said gently. “He’s got this.” He watched Spike with intrigue. “Hopefully.”

Placing the sword in the ground, Spike slid back a small amount, before coming to a halt. Clenching his stomach, he stopped himself from hurling and slowly stood back up; now dangerously close to the edge.

Snipe had recovered from his surprise, and made a sweeping kick towards his opponent.

Mogeme, still clutching his arm, tipped over as Snipe knocked him off his feet. Hitting the ground hard. "Argh!" Mogeme cried.

Taking advantage of the situation, Snipe quickly stood over Mogeme, facing his bow point blank at his face.

Mogeme looks at the bow and then at Snipe. Looking him in the eyes, "You don't have the guts kid, to let that arrow fly. You have never taken a life before. I can see it in your eyes. So give up and just surrender, you're outmatched." Mogeme says as he slowly stood back up, still looking Snipe in his eyes.

“Close,” Snipe began, “But really I just wanted to charge it up a bit more.” Snipe smirked as he released the arrow directly into Mogeme’s chest, sending him back a few feet.

Mogeme's eyes widened under his glasses as he was blasted off his feet and onto the ground. Inches from the edge. His chest was smoking from the blast.

“Bold of you to assume I’ve never taken a life.” Snipe said, a hint of venom in his voice. By this point, Spike had managed to recover, and moved to the griffin's side with his sword held in his right hand.

“Not like either of those statements matter here, dude could’ve tried beheading him and it still wouldn’t have killed anyone.” Isabella says with a frown.

“In my experience; killing is easy, beating an opponent without killing them is the hard part.” Lucius says with a shrug, the ninja gave a somewhat concerned look at the skeleton. “Everyone has the ability to kill, not everyone has the ability to restrain themselves in the heat of the moment.”

Mogeme held up his hand. Giving Snipe a thumbs up. "Nice hit kid,” Mogeme croaked. Coughing, Mogeme stumbled to his feet. Looking down at his chest, he notices that his chest plate was horribly damaged. Removing it, he looked back up at the pair. A smirk flashes across the trolls face as two pistols appear in each of his hands.

"But you’re not the only one who has powerful toys,” Mogeme stated before unleashing a hailstorm of energy blasts at the pair.

Thinking quickly, Spike ran to the edge opposite of Mogeme and jumped off, grabbing the ledge before he could fall. Though, a solid hit to the back threw him off a bit. Snipe took off as fast as he could to dodge the incoming blasts, but was hit twice; one clipping his heel, and the other one landing square in his thigh.

Mogeme then dashed at the pair, firing a barrage of blasts from one of his pistols at the back of Snipe as he dashed past him.

Snipe, still reeling from the pain in his left leg, only managed to dodge one of the incoming blows, dropping him to the ground.

Once past Snipe, Mogeme stomped at Spike's claws.

Spike let go of the ledge, seemingly falling into the abyss. Mogeme slowly took a step forward to watch Spike fall.

Then Mogeme felt a pressure in his lower back, sending him tumbling off the cliff. Turning as he fell to see an injured but determined Snipe standing at the edge looking down at him, and on a lower level sits Spike with a smile on his face.

"Well crap, they beat me. GG kids" Mogeme said with a smile as he fell into the abyss.

“This game’s winner is..” Master Hand paused for dramatic effect. “Spike and Snipe!” Master Hand yelled as the sound of a cheering crowd was heard, earning a confused look by the guests and people sitting in the stands.

Except for Twilight, however; she was whooping and stomping her hooves in glee. “Go, Spike!” she cheered.

Logan chuckled at her antics, and gave a dew claw up in approval.

Alexis hummed. "They have talent in Duos combat, I'll give them that," she commented thoughtfully.

“I’ll definitely have to pay close attention to my surroundings if I end up fighting them, not that I wouldn’t do so without watching them fight.” Isabella says with a thoughtful look.

Those who were still looking, would eventually find the crowd on the opposite side; all of them ponified pokemon trainers. With a snap of his fingers, Mogeme teleported back to the Final Destination stage along with Spike and Snipe. “Here.” Master hand began as he held out what looked like two baskets, one with food, and the other empty. “Choose what you’d like to take with you. Each food has special healing properties that can help your wounds and restore your stamina.” he explained to Mogeme.

"What's with the empty basket?" Mogeme asked, confused.

“..For you to pick whatever you’d like and place it in the empty basket, not unless you’d like one of each instead?” Master hand asked.

"Well...Since where I'm from, it's still medieval times, can I get one of each?" Mogeme asked, 'And maybe I can duplicate the hell out of them back home' he thought to himself.

Master Hand hands the second basket, containing one of each food that existed in the Smash Bros World, although to Mogeme they looked like normal food.

Mogeme takes the basket, smiling. "Thanks Hand, it's been fun. Hope to return for the next tourney." He says before waving goodbye.

With a snap of his fingers, a double red door opens up, revealing Mogeme’s previous location. “Best go on in before someone sees the door and asks questions.” Master Hand said with a chuckle.

Mogeme nods and strides through the door, it closes quickly behind him.

Spike and Snipe looked to each other, before falling onto their backs in relief. They turned their heads to look at one another, before sharing a quick fist bump. Teleporting in, Phoenix stood over the two teens with a grin on his face. “Good job you two, though, don’t think I’m not gonna name every mistake you made once we get back to the mansion.” Smiling, the two nodded and got to their feet. Turning towards Master Hand, Phoenix gave a nod, before teleporting out with the two kids.
