Carl Jenkins is just a normal guy. He also happens to not be a brony. Then, through a very hilarious ironic twist, he accidentally switches places with Twilight Sparkle. He becomes a pony and she becomes a human. Both of them have to learn the ways of this new world, through their hilarious misadventures.
