The Ponyville Murders
Chapter 2: The Class Incident

For the next month Princess Celestia had royal guards around the school house while the young ponies weren't in school so they wouldn't be frightened. Fear was running through all of Ponyville. Nopony trusted each other, everypony was paranoid, thinking that they may be the next victim of this vicious killer. Cheerilee was especially terrified, thinking that one of the children would fall victim, or even her.

Meanwhile Twilight and Rarity were explaining to the others what had happened, and were making a plan to figure out who the murderer is. "Everypony should stay inside and keep themselves armed while outside and ESPECIALLY if you're going to be alone." Rarity said to the pony friends still all sobbing at the loss of their happy friend. Twilight paces back and forth in front of the other ponies as if she was some sort of drill instructor, "Now Rainbow Dash, I need you patrolling the skies tonight with the Wonderbolts. Fluttershy you need to take some dogs to smell out the perimeter of the school. Applejack i need to watch the Sweet Apple Acres farm just in case the killer cuts through it." all the ponies agree to their duties and begin carrying out their tasks. Twilight turns to Rarity, "I really hope we catch this sick, cruel, pony." Rarity replies to Twilight, "Darling, I have a feeling that we may see more bodies before we figure this out. We can only hope that we keep that number at a minimum." Twilight looks at Rarity questionably, "What makes you think that?" Rarity turning around looking around Twilight's library like a curious cat, "Well, think about the killer left a clue about his next murder, and I presume he or she will continue to do so until we find them." Twilight sits down looking at Rarity now staring back at Twilight, "You know... maybe you're right Rarity. I'm worried though. What if we become victims because we're following this pony?" Rarity looks at Twilight with a snooty face, "Oh Twilight, you must not understand. The killer is leaving clues because they WANT to be caught. They won't harm us."

Hours pass by as Twilight and Rarity continue discussing the murder. Then they were interrupted by a cry for help. Both ponies dart out of Twilight's house and run to the school. as they approach the school they can see a huddle of guards around the side of the school. When they get closer they see Fluttershy, standing, shaking, crying, silent, shocked, and terrified. "Rarity go to Fluttershy and comfort her." Rarity listens and does what she's told. Twilight walks up to the body. It's Diamond Tiara. Twilight cries at the sight of a young pony dead, "She didn't even have a life yet you bastard!!" Twilight screams in anger. Her body was just like Pinkie's, except she was nailed to the school and had her tiara in her mouth. Twilight looks around, and finds another riddle and a different code. Twilight sits, almost as if she was falling, "She was right." Twilight says as a single tear rolls down her face. "Why?" Twilight asks almost gasping.
