Chapters It was another day in Equestria. Fluttershy was tending to an injured parrot as it had a broken wing. She wrapped it up in gauze and patted it. She smiled gently. "There." she said. "The wing will be better in a few weeks." she said. Suddenly she heard the door slam shut. She turned and saw Angel with his back against the door panting.
"Angel?" Fluttershy asked. She trotted up to the shell shocked rabbit. He was never this scared unless he saw something.
"What happened?" she asked. He calmed down and began to make signals. Fluttershy understood.
"You were near the Everfree Forest when you saw it?" she asked.
"What do you mean "it?" she asked. Angel could not describe it. He only pointed out one thing.
"Scales?" she asked. He nodded and started to emphasize huge by raising his hand above his body. "And huge?" she asked. She was beginning to get scared herself. "How big?" she asked.
Angel only shivered. Fluttershy decided to go and investigate.
"Angel stay here. I will look for this creature myself." she said. But she really didn't want to but it scared Angel. She trotted out of her little cottage and began to head towards the forest. She had to be careful, the forest was very dangerous. Especially at night.
After a few minutes Fluttershy was at the entrance to the Everfree Forest. It looked ominous as it always was. It was never a cool looking place. She sighed before walking into the forest watching and listening for anything that Angel was talking about. After an hour she couldn't find it. She sighed with a small laugh.
"Angel must have just been seeing things that made it look like it was something." she said to herself.
But as she entered a clearing, her eyes widened like saucers. In front of her was a giant piece of molted skin from a snake. No snake had skin that big. Her entire body looked like it would fit nice inside. More than 15 of her could fit inside. She looked at it further. It was only a few days old so that means whatever shed the skin, is still around. She shivered.
It was scary. Maybe Angel did see something. But she didn't notice that a bear was watching her until she heard it growl. Fluttershy turned and saw a huge brown bear roaring before looking right at her. She gasped.
"N-nice bear." she said. It stopped and stared at her. Fluttershy nervously walked up to it to see if there was a reason why it was angry. But just as she was about to reach it, she heard the bear roar. She had just enough time to see claws speed towards her. She barley dodged it in time before looking at the bear. She screamed and ran, the bear following close behind her.
But just then, she realized that she could fly but just as she realized that, she reached a cliff side. She skidded to a stop before turning to see the bear right behind her. Fluttershy raised her wings and was about to flap when she felt a paw graze her side, she yelped in pain and then felt the bear grab her and slam her into the ground. She grunted in pain as she saw the bear loom over her. It raised another paw, it's claws sharp enough to rip her to shreds. She whimpers and closed her eyes.
Suddenly she heard another roar but it sounded like a female screech mixed with a snake hiss. She heard the bear roar in pain and felt the pressure leave her chest. She opened her eyes. She noticed ahead was a giant snake body, with beautiful white scales with blue patterns which was outlined by black patterns. The belly scales were were pale silver. She looked up to see that the snake's body curved up to meet a pelvis, she noticed half a vertical slit where the snake half seemed to morph into the half of another creature in the middle. But the rest of the slit was beneath the reptilian cover that blocked it. She realized that it must be the creatures reproductive organ.
Now she got a good look at it's upper half. It looked like a giant hairless monkey but more evolved. It might be one of those human creatures that Twilight talked about. It didn't look like a normal color. It's skin was a very creamy, milky fair. it had a small hole on it's stomach, as she looked further up she saw two large lumps on the creature's chest with little pink nubs on the tip of each. They might be teats or udders of some kind, so it was obvious that this creature was a female. And the creature was slender so it was another sign that it was a female.
She looked further up to see the arms of the creature. At the end of each was a hand with five digits on each, then the neck. And finally the head. It was rounded shaped. She saw the creatures monolid shaped, red colored eyes, it's pupil's like that of a snake. It's mane was unruly white that reached the shoulders. She didn't really know what she was. But it was clear that it is some sort of giant Albino half-snake, half-human creature. Fluttershy finally noticed the lips, struggling from the teeth were the bear. It had been caught up to it's stomach and was clawing wildly. trying to escape. Suddenly, the teeth bit down harder. Fluttershy heard a snapping sound. The bear's scream stopped and it collapsed. It's eyes wide open as it hang helplessly in the creatures teeth. Suddenly the head shifted forward and the mouth open. Causing the bear to be shifted into the mouth. Fluttershy heard a deep gulp reverberate though her. Her eyes widened. It had swallowed the bear whole! She fully took in the creature's height. It was so very big. But since it was night. It wasn't easy to actually comprehend it's height. Fluttershy's best guess is that it had to be at least 48 meters (157 feet) tall. And it's long serpent body was 70 meters (229 feet) long. Which meant that it's entire length from it's head to it's tail was 118 meters (387 feet) long!
Not even a dragon can get that big. The creature then turned to her. Fluttershy gulped as she saw the red eyes stare down at her. Fluttershy shrunk back. Was it going to eat her to? A few seconds later it let out a soft hiss, before turning around and slithered off. Fluttershy gulped as the tail finally disappeared into the trees. A thought appeared in her head. Had the creature just saved her from the bear?
Fluttershy nervously stood up and limped away towards the entrance. If Twilight or the others saw her like this, they would ask too many questions to questions that she doesn't even know. It was best to just go to her cottage and cover her bruises. She could tell them that she fell and got a few bumps from that but it wouldn't explain the three slash marks on her side. They weren't to deep so they can be cleaned up when she gets home. Soon she was back at her cottage. She looked around before walking inside. She looked for Angel until she spotted the little rabbit. The moment he saw her he looked at her concerned. Did the creature attack Fluttershy?
Angel leapt towards the Pegasus and stood before her. Fluttershy sighed.
"I'm OK Angel." she said. Angel glared. He demanded answers. Fluttershy did not want to talk about it. As she was about to walk away Angel blocked her. He gave her an even deeper frown, crossing his arms and tapping a foot. She sighed.
She sighed before looking at Angel. "I think I saw what you saw." she said. He looked down at the wounds she had before looking back up.
"But it wasn't the creature who did this. It was a bear." she said. He sighed and allowed her to go clean herself up. Later she came back and laid down. She couldn't get the creature out of her head. It was just so different and big, and foreign.
She got up early the next morning and decided that she had to investigate the creature further. She turned to Angel who was barley awake.
"Angel, I need you to watch the animals for a while. I'll be back soon. And please don't tell anyone where I am going." she said and trotted out before Angel could question her.
Fluttershy then quickly spread her wings and flew into the sky towards the Everfree Forest. She soon reached the entrance and continued to fly over the trees. She had to find it. It couldn't be that hard to find. A few minutes later she flew down to a clearing and landed. It was the same spot from the other night.
It just laid there. Or she laid there. It really didn't look all scary now. It looked like it was, well... bored. The creature began to whistle a tune when suddenly a stick rubbed Fluttershy's flank. She squealed and jumped out of the bush. She calmed down before realizing what she just did. She had jumped into the clearing. She turned slowly towards the creature and squeaked in surprise and fear. The creature was looking strait at her!
To be Continued
Fluttershy and the Serpent.
Fluttershy gulped with fear as the giant creature looked at her. It didn't move. It just stared at her. Slowly, it leaned up until it stood tall over the trees. The sun reflecting off it's pale skin. It continued to look down at Fluttershy. Fluttershy whimpered. It began to slither towards her. She closed her eyes and curled into a ball. She felt something gently grab her and raise her up. She knew this was the end. She was going to be eaten. And no one will even know where she had gone.
She broke down sobbing. "Please don't hurt me." she begged. She didn't want to die. Not like this. "Please, please, please, please, please." she continued to beg. After a few minutes, she stopped crying.
She realized she was standing on something soft. She looked down and saw that she was in a massive palm. She looked straight ahead and saw the chest of the creature. Raising and lowering as it breathed. "Fos drun hi het? " Her eyes widened. She slowly looked up to see the creature's face. Her eyes widened. Had the creature just spoke? There was no way.
"Fos drun hi kotin dii deylok mal Pegasus? " Fluttershy gawked as the giant creature spoke to her in a language she could no translate. It sounded so ancient. "Los bo wah reyzan nahlon? " it spoke again. It's voice was feminine, yet baritone. Fluttershy gulped. It was speaking to her. She knew she had to talk to it. She had to. She didn't want to be mean. And besides. She wasn't in a position where she can't leave. She sighed before speaking.
"A-a-are you g-g-going t-to hurt m-me?" she asked.
The creature shook it's head. Or her head. "Nid. " was all she said. "Druv los hi tir het? " it asked. Fluttershy didn't know what she was saying.
Fluttershy was upset she couldn't understand what the creature was saying. "I'm sorry." she said. "I-I-I don't know what you are saying." she said sadly. The creature's eyes widened a little. And looked like it was pitying her. It sighed before it pointed with her other arm in a direction and pointed to her. "Fos." she said. "Los." she continued before pointing at her. "Hi." and waved around her. "Het?" she said.
For a few minutes Fluttershy was deciphering what she was saying to her. Finally she looked up at her. "A-are y-you asking what I am doing here?" she asked. The creature nodded.
"Geh ." she said to her. It probably meant yes. Fluttershy gulped before speaking. "Well." she was surprised on how she wasn't stuttering right now. "You saved me last night from the bear, remember?" she looked up. The creature nodded. "I just w-wanted to t-thank you for saving me." she said looking down with a blush.
"Nii los flogah. " it responded. Probably saying okay. Fluttershy looked down before up. "What's your name?"
The creature took in a deep breath. "Jor. " Fluttershy was surprised. It's name didn't sound Equestrian. It sounded older than modern Equestrian language. She then pointed to her.
"Fos los hin faan? " It must be asking her name. Fluttershy looked down and muttered her name. "Fos?" it asked. Fluttershy muttered her name a little louder. "Fos? " the creature asked. Fluttershy finally spoke her name loudly.
"My name is Fluttershy." she said. Jor leaned her head to the side. It almost looked adorable.
"Fluttershy?" she asked. The Pegasus nodded. Jor nodded as well.
Fluttershy stumbled as she was lowered to the ground. Once she was close enough, she jumped onto the ground and looked up to see Jor looking at her. She pointed towards where she came from. Fluttershy realized she was telling her to go home. "O-okay." she said. She was about to walk out from Jor's sight before she turned and smiled a little. "And again, thank you for saving me." she said. Jor nodded. Fluttershy proceeded to fly back to the cottage. As soon as she got there. She saw that no one was there. "Thank Celestia. " she thought.
She quickly flew to the door and looked around before opening it and going inside. Once inside, she saw Angel looking at her. "It's okay Angel. It turns out that the creature is very friendly." she said. Angel raised an eyebrow. Fluttershy walked up the stairs and to her room. To the left she saw a big quilt hung on the wall. She trotted over to it, and pulled it down. Angel watched bemusedly as Fluttershy grabbed a pencil. She then began to sketch Jor onto her wall. Drawing a front, back, and side view of her. It was hardest to sketch a side view as she didn't want it to be big enough so that when she hides it behind the quilt, it wouldn't be peaking out from behind it.
At the left to each sketch, she sketched herself and Angel in comparison to Jor's height. Normally, studying and drawing anatomy's was something that Twilight did. But Fluttershy knew a few lessons. Within half an hour. She had sketched a very accurate anatomic view of Jor. But then she realized something again. She didn't ask Jor if she was the last of her kind. Though she really didn't want to know if there was more. But she would have to ask her that tomorrow. "Angel." Fluttershy turned to Angel with a serious frown.
"I am normally not so serious, but in this situation, I am." she said. Angel realized that Fluttershy was not joking. "You are NOT to tell anyone about this creature." she said. Angel looked at her confused. This was something that the entire gang has to know. But he still wasn't convinced. "Okay." Fluttershy said. "What do you think could happen if they see Jor without asking me first?" she asked. Angel thought. He really didn't want that "Jor" thing out there. He was also skeptical that it was friendly.
"I am serious." Fluttershy stomped her hoof. Causing Angel to flinch. "You will not tell anyone or else you will be eating celery for the rest of your life. Which means no more carrots." she threatened. Fluttershy hated resorting to threats. But this has to remain a secret. Angel nodded. He was not going to lose the privilege of eating carrots. "You will also not tell anyone of this drawing." Fluttershy pointed towards the sketch before walking to it and covering it back up with the quilt. She sighed before turning to him. "Angel, please." she said. "No one can find out about this. Imagine if anypony found out about her?" she asked.
Angel thought. He realized what Fluttershy meant. Ponies can tend to act irrationally at times. And if they spot "Jor" as Fluttershy calls the creature, the results might not end well. But it made him wonder how such small creatures could harm someone as big as Jor. Finally he nodded. Fluttershy beamed and hugged him. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." she said to the suffocating rabbit. Fluttershy realized this and put him down. "Sorry." she said. Angel sighed but then looked at her with a serious expression. Fluttershy knew what Angel was trying to say.
"I know I will have to tell my friends eventually. But for now. This really needs to be kept secret." she said. "So for now. This is between just us, understand Angel?" she asked. Angel nodded.
Meanwhile, far into the Everfree Forest, Jor was resting on her back. She couldn't keep stop thinking about the Pegasus she saved. Who had also come today to speak with her. She was impressed by the Pegasus's bravery. Every pony she has come across has ran away from her in fear. But the Pegasus, showed no fear. Well at first she was. She completely understood why the little Pegasus was so scared. It isn't everyday someone sees a creature such as her.
Fluttershy sighed. It had been a few days since she's last seen Jor. She couldn't leave everyday to go see her. It would raise suspicion. So she had to severely limit her visits. Maybe just once a week for two hours. She didn't know. But she knew she had to go back. She wanted to get to know Jor more. So she grabbed a few of her things, placed them in her pouch and began to head towards the door but stopped and turned to Angel. "I am going out for a day or two. If anyone asks where I went, tell them that I to Fillydelphia."
Angel raised an eyebrow. He doubted that her friends would buy that. She sighed. "Just tell them I went somewhere. Somewhere where they won't need to come see me." she said. Angel sighed but nodded. Fluttershy closed the door and head off to the Everfree Forest.
Soon enough, she had flew over the entrance. It would take half an hour or more to reach where she last saw Jor. So she had to keep flying. There would be too many risks landing in the forest. The bear attack taught her that.
After a half an hour, she reached the area where she last saw Jor. She decided to rest here. As she rested, she heard leaves rustling. She squeaked and turned around to see that it was.
An adult doe. The deer had not noticed her and was looking around alarmed before it continued to eat the grass. Fluttershy smiled and watched the scene. However, a few seconds later, two red eyes opened from behind the deer. Before Fluttershy could react. Jor had lunged out of the forest.
Her mouth wide open, aiming towards the deer. It also gave Fluttershy a good view of just how big Jor's mouth was compared to herself. And even got a glimpse of the sharp canines that were her fangs. So big in fact that they would no doubt be able to pierce her through her entire body. The massive mouth snapped up the entire deer in one quick stroke. One moment, the deer was there, the next, it was gone.
Fluttershy watched as Jor swallowed the deer whole and stood back to her full height, licking her lips. Fluttershy began to wonder how something as small as a deer, could sustain a creature as big as her. She was also now brought with a new realization. If she could eat a deer or bear easily, does that mean she could eat ponies too?
A familiar scent invaded Jor's nostrils. The tiny yellow Pegasus was here. In an instant she snapped her head into the direction of the Pegasus.
Fluttershy squeaked as the albino creature turned to her!
Fluttershy stared hard at the giant creature. Taking in her appearance as much as she could.
"How old is she? The language she's spoke sounds so old and ancient. It might even predate the Princesses by many centuries! " Fluttershy thought. The more Fluttershy looked at Jor, the more she realized how grand she was. She might be even older than the Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. If that was the case, then why does she look so young? Twilight had taught her and her friends about human age.
Human's live long. But when they get old, they tend to get wrinkly, and have white hair. Usually, that's around the time where they expire. Jor's hair was white, but that's because she's albino. Albino ponies tend to have such colors in their manes. Unless, Jor's kind aged so slowly, that Jor might as well be a Juvenile. Fluttershy gulped.
If Jor was just a Juvenile, then how big would she get once she was fully grown? She was thinking so many questions, she didn't notice that Jor was grinning at her with a amused look on her face.
Jor knew that Fluttershy was connecting the dots. She had to admit that Fluttershy was very quick at understanding things. And that's a trait she respects in all creatures. As long as they don't use that kind of knowledge for purposes that could be used against her. Jor didn't want Fluttershy's head to explode with theories so she let out a soft roar. Normally she would speak to her. But thought maybe she should remain quiet. Since she does not know the tongue she speaks. And she was never comfortable with speaking anyway.
Fluttershy's eyes blinked as she was brought out of her thoughts due to Jor's soft roar. She looked up to see Jor looking down amused with her arms crossed. "Um. Sorry." Fluttershy said. "I didn't mean to stare." she said. Jor waved a hand dismissively.
Fluttershy looked at Jor in the eyes. "You are probably wondering why I am here." she said. Jor nodded slowly. "Well..." Fluttershy paused. "I-I-I." she stammered. "I wanted to spend the night with you!" she finally blurted out. Jor's eyes widened with shock. No one had ever requested that. Jor's eyes closed and she nodded. Fluttershy grinned.
"Thank you." she said. Jor gently scooped Fluttershy up in her palm and brought it to her shoulder. Fluttershy hopped onto Jor's shoulder. She made the mistake of looking down. She gasped with fright. But she struggled to keep calm. But Jor smelt her fear. Jor started to slither back towards her den.
ONE HOUR LATER
Fluttershy never realized how big the Everfree Forest was. The trees had gotten bigger. The trees here were over a thousand feet tall! Jor soon saw her den. Fluttershy turned and saw it. It wasn't a den. At least not like what Fluttershy thought it would be. It was a temple. A huge temple. Perfectly preserved by the vegetation. Fluttershy began to realize that there was much more to Jor than she originally thought. This temple was big enough to fit Jor. Jor put a hand up to her shoulder. Fluttershy nodded and hopped onto Jor's palm and yelped as she was lowered to the ground. Jor began to slither on, with Fluttershy following her close behind.
Jor slithered up to a slanted side of the temple. Looking around, she saw no one. She looked to Fluttershy with a very stern look and put a finger to her lips. An obvious sign that Jor was saying. Do NOT mention this place to anyone you know.
Fluttershy never saw Jor look so serious at her. But she realized that Jor wanted to keep this place a secret. Fluttershy nodded. "I won't tell anyone." Jor narrowed her gaze more. It almost looked like she was threatening her. Fluttershy realized just how secretive or sacred this place was to Jor. Who was probably willing to hurt her or do worse if she ever told anyone. "I swear upon my soul I will not tell anyone." she said. Jor's gaze softened and she nodded. Jor went to a plate that stood out and pressed it.
To Fluttershy's shock. The slanted wall moved. Dust giving away the cracks. The wall moved up until it was higher than Jor. Jor turned and looked at Fluttershy's face and nearly giggled. If Fluttershy's jaw was any lower, it would be reaching the ground. Fluttershy gazed into the tunnel that suddenly lighten up with massive torches on each side.
Jor hissed. Gesturing Fluttershy to follow her. Fluttershy nodded and followed the serpent into the tunnel. Fluttershy squeaked as she turned to see the wall slide back shut. She turned back to Jor and continued to follow her. Soon, Fluttershy found herself in a chamber. She looked around with awe. "Whoa."
The chamber was lit with torches that hung from the ceiling and walls. But they had gems and different colored crystals that gave the chamber a memorizing glow. And there were amulets, pieces of armor, even staffs that were her own size all around the place. Fluttershy was awed. She had never seen such beauty.
She was almost ashamed to admit that the treasure and art that was here, beat's what even Rarity has. Fluttershy turned and saw a wall painting of Jor's kind. Fluttershy was confused. There were more of Jor's kind? If so, where are they? This place looked like it was built for them. She looked around one last time before turning to Jor. "D-did y-y-you collect these?" Fluttershy asked.
Jor nodded with a grin. It made sense to Fluttershy on why this place was sacred. It wasn't just Jor's home, it was where she held her collection. Fluttershy couldn't contain it.
"Oh Jor, this is the most beautiful place I have ever seen, no wonder you keep this place secret." she said. Jor smiled and nodded. Fluttershy turned and saw something familiar. She looked closer and widened her eyes. It was the pedestal from the Castle of the Two Sisters. The one that held the Elements of Harmony. It had been turned into a fountain. Jor must have gotten it recently. She turned to Jor. "How did you get this?" she asked. Jor leaned her head curiously.
"This was in the Castle of the Two Sisters." Fluttershy said. Jor looked at it. She never got anything from that place. Her eyes narrowed at "Two Sisters", but Fluttershy didn't notice. Jor made that herself. Jor shook her head. "You never got that from the castle?" Fluttershy asked. Jor nodded.
"You made it?" she asked. Jor nodded. "Wow." Fluttershy said. She turned to Jor who shook her head with a smile and pointed at Fluttershy. "You want me to talk about myself?" she asked. Jor nodded. Needless to say, Jor was interested in Fluttershy's story. But only the parts that didn't include the Princesses. When Fluttershy was done, Jor was amazed that someone like Fluttershy could go on so many adventures. Once Fluttershy was done, she asked.
"Why don't you tell me about yourself." she said. Fluttershy said. Jor's smile faltered.
Fluttershy then realized something. There was no one like Jor that was here. She couldn't hold back the question. "Is there anyone like you here?" she asked. Jor's eyes widened. Fluttershy saw a look of sadness come across her face.
Even though Jor seemed harsh, she really wasn't. Here in the temple, Jor was a lot more emotional. Jor sighed and went to a corner and curled up before leaning back against the soft moss wall. She took in a big heavy sigh and looked at Fluttershy.
Fluttershy saw this as a meaning that Jor was upset. And looked like she didn't want to talk about it. "I understand now." she said. "If it helps. I could be your friend." Fluttershy said. Jor looked at her with surprise. "No one deserves to be lonely." Fluttershy said. Jor sighed. Friend isn't a word she's heard in a long time.
Fluttershy looked at her as she noticed the creature's hesitant. "It's okay to have a friend." she said. Jor nodded slowly.
That night, Fluttershy was squirming and whimpering. She was having a nightmare.
She was running from something. She turned and saw that it was Jor chasing her with a look of anger on her face. She screamed and ran as fast as she could. She tried to use her wings to fly but she couldn't. She turned and yelped as Jor was inches from her. Jor wasn't the same size as she saw. Jor was 5x bigger now! Jor opened her mouth. Her teeth were serrated, razor sharp like that of a shark. Fluttershy yelped as Jor snapped her teeth. Trying to catch her. "I'm sorry!" she yelled. Suddenly, Fluttershy was plucked up with two fingers.
"What did I do!?" she yelled to the giant creature. Jor sneered and turned Fluttershy around. Fluttershy gasped. It was as if Tartarus itself had come to the surface. The sky was a hellish red. All around her, the forest was on fire. But then, she noticed something else. Jor's temple! It was completely destroyed. Ad from the rubble, she saw the different colors of the Elements of Harmony. She realized what it was. It was her friends. They had destroyed the temple. And now, Jor was furious because she broke a promise. She screamed as she was brought up above Jor until she was dangling over her.
Fluttershy screamed as she was held over Jor's lips. The lips split as Jor opened wide. Fluttershy screeched as she gazed into the saliva dripping cavern. The pearly white fangs, pointed red tongue, and dark red gullet all exposed. "Jor please no!" She was let go. Fluttershy screamed as she plummeted into blackness.
Fluttershy's eyes opened with a start and she looked around frantically. She saw that the temple was okay. And she wasn't being eaten. She turned and saw that Jor wasn't around. She was curious, where was Jor? She didn't know, so she decided to go look for her. It's not impossible to miss Jor.
Fluttershy continued to look around and didn't look where she was going, she bumped into something and heard something shatter. Fluttershy turned to see what happened and saw she had bumped into a pedestal that had a glass gem on it. The blue gem was shattered into a million pieces. Fluttershy gulped as fear built up in her.
She had broken one of Jor's many treasures! Her mind went through many scenarios. She remembered the nightmare she had. Would Jor be so angry, that she would eat her?
Fluttershy whimpered as she heard the noise of slithering coils approaching. She turned and saw Jor's serpent body and collapsed onto the ground. "PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!! I DIDN'T MEAN TO BREAK ONE OF YOUR TREASURES!!" she cried hysterically. Jor raised an eyebrow and saw that her Gem of Lino was shattered. Was Fluttershy that scared? She had hundreds of trophies. One broken trophy isn't even a tragedy. Jor rolled her eyes. Fluttershy continued to cry and beg. Jor sighed.
She heard a quick snort. Fluttershy stopped crying and looked up. She saw that Jor wasn't mad. She just looked down at her with a look that told her just how silly she was being.
"Y-you aren't going to hurt me?" she asked. Jor shook her head. Fluttershy soon calmed down. She shook her head before looking down embarrassed. "Sorry I reacted like that." she said.
Jor nodded. She then leaned down and gently picked up Fluttershy and placed her on her shoulder. She then set off to the area where she first met Fluttershy. That area was where she loved to sunbathe.
ONE HOUR LATER
Jor soon entered the clearing and set Fluttershy down before lying onto her back and sunbathed. Her serpent body uncurled. The tip of her tail swaying gently. Fluttershy sighed. She remembered her dream she had and scolded herself. Jor made it clear that she would never hurt her.
It was silent for a moment before laughter could be heard. "Ohohohoo!" a cloud appeared in front of Fluttershy and saw who it was. It was the Lord of Chaos himself, Discord. "Hey Fluttershy." he said with a smile.
Fluttershy smiled. "Discord." she said. "How are you doing?" she asked.
Discord grabbed his antlers. "I am doing so well that I might as well as pull off my antlers." he said. He ended up doing just that. His antlers then reappeared back on his head. Fluttershy suddenly realized that Jor was still here. "So, where have you been? Angel told me you went to Fillydelphia." he said. "But when I went there, I searched high and low." he flew up high then lowered to the ground.
Fluttershy gulped. Discord noticed this and gasped. "Fluttershy, you didn't keep a secret from your friends did you, a secret from me?" he asked hurt. Fltutershy stammered.
"N-n-no Discord you have it all wrong." she said. Discord looked at her with his arms crossed. "Okay, I might have lied and kept a secret." Fluttershy said with a wide nervous grin. But this made Discord's frown grow. "But all for a good reason." she blurted.
"And what is so secretive that you can't tell me?" he asked. Fluttershy gulped. Discord didn't even notice that Jor was standing right behind him. Fluttershy's gaze shifted up to Jor who looked at Discord with a look of surprise and anger. Discord noticed the look, and just noticed the shadow that had been lingering over the both of them. He sighed and turned. He looked ahead and saw a giant serpent belly. His eyes widened as he looked up and saw Jor's face looking down at him. "Oh my." he said in complete shock. He was genuinely surprised. But even then he couldn't help but crack a joke in the form of his body turning completely white. Jor's eyes suddenly shifted to Fluttershy and looked at her with an accusing glare. Fluttershy gulped.
"N-n-n-n-no Jor, I-I-I didn't know he was c-c-coming, honestly. H-h-h-he just likes to pop in and out like that." she said quickly. Jor saw how true Fluttershy was and nodded then looked back down to the strange creature. She had never seen such a creature.
Discord looked at Fluttershy with a serious look. "Fluttershy, do you know who this is?" he asked. Fluttershy leaned her head curiously.
"Yes." she said and smiled. "Jor, this is my friend Discord. And Discord, this is Jor." she said. Discord slowly nodded. He gulped. And he thought Torch was big. But Jor here was bigger than him. Yet, deep within the back of his mind, he couldn't help but wonder if he had seen this creaturebefore.
"When did you two meet?" he asked.
"It was a few nights ago. Angel told me he saw something, so I decided to go check for myself." Fluttershy explained. "Just as I landed. A bear attacked me." she said. Fluttershy said. Discord's eyes widened and looked closely. He did indeed see three faint scratch marks on Fluttershy's side. His eyes widened. Fluttershy nearly. . .
He looked at Fluttershy with a glare. "Where is he?" he suddenly appeared in armor and a giant sword in his other hand. "Where is that bear who hurt you?" he demanded while slashing at the air.
Fluttershy looked down. She wasn't going to lie. She still couldn't forget what she saw. "Well, I thought I was going to... but suddenly she saved me." Fluttershy gestured towards Jor. Discord still wanted to know where the bear was.
"But where is the bear?" he asked. Fluttershy sighed.
"Like I said. Just as he was about to swipe me, I heard it roar in pain. I opened my eyes and saw..." Fluttershy said and shuddered as she remembered the bear's enraged look as it was trapped in the jaws of her new giant friend. "Jor saved me from the bear." she completed.
Discord realized what Fluttershy meant. He shrugged. "Well, at least you're safe. Also." he looked at Jor. "Thank you for saving her." he said. "She was my first friend and I don't know what I'd be without her." he looked down. "Probably still locked in that blasted stone prison." he said sadly.
"Discord, you have redeemed yourself many times." Fluttershy said. "So do not worry about the past." she said. Discord smiled. He then looked up at Jor with a look of mischief. In a poof of dust, he was dressed as a professor with monocle glasses.
He suddenly flew up and around Jor before noticing a particular organ that rested below the navel where her serpent half meets her human half. "What is that?" he asked.
"That's Jor's..." Fluttershy's cheeks flushed. Discords eyes widened. He felt a little stupid. It was obvious that Jor was a female. So it was obvious she would have the organs that a female would have. But he kept his embarrassment brilliantly hidden.
"Interesting." he said. Writing on a clipboard. Jor just watched as Fluttershy's crazy friend observed her. He then flew up to her chest and looked at the lumps. "So I guess these are udders." he said. Jor nodded but that was not what hers were called. They were called niislah .
Suddenly Discord flew up to her eyes and then, her hair, and looked into her ears. "One last place to look at." he said and flew down to her lips and opened her mouth wide. He gazed into the dripping maw and flew right into it. Jor closed her mouth in confusion as she felt Discord move around in her mouth. And felt the creature nearly fall into her throat hadn't she shifted her tongue forward so he wouldn't fall into it. The last thing she needs is an actual discord in her system. Besides, he didn't taste very good either. In fact, He was the most disgusting thing she's ever felt touch her taste buds. Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and spat him out. He found himself being shot out and into the ground bellow. He looked down at himself and shivered with disgust. He was covered in saliva. "I'll say one thing Fluttershy." he said as he wiped his suit. "Besides the fact that she is in a bad need of mint. She really is something. Inside and out." Jor set him back on the ground.
Disocord soon made his professor suit disappeared and looked up at Jor. "So looks like you two get a long just fine." he said. "But here's a good question for you my dear." he said. "What will happen when your friends find out?" he asked. Jor and Fluttershy looked to each other then back to him.
"Discord." Fluttershy looked at him with a serious expression. "Jor is to remain secret from them." she said. Discord's eyes widened.
"I thought you were honest as you were kind." Discord said. Fluttershy sighed.
"Yes, I normally would be. But just look at her." she said. Discord looked up at the towering serpent that was Jor. "Just imagine what my friends would do if they found her or found out about her?" she asked.
Discord thought about it. Her friends would defiantly freak out. Though he couldn't suppress the snicker as imagined what their faces would look like. "I do see your point." he said.
"I am serious Discord." Fluttershy said. "I do not want anyone to know about Jor. Please. I don't want anything bad to happen to her. I don't want her destroyed." she said. Discord grinned.
"What makes you think I'm a little bird?" he morphed into a tiny bird before morphing back into his former self. Fluttershy sighed.
"Just don't tell anyone about her. Under any circumstance that happens to me, or my friends. Do not go to her." she said. Discord sighed. Fluttershy turned and looked at the sky.
"Fine." he said. He then turned to Jor and flew up to her. He flew to her ear and whispered. "How far would you be willing to go if something happened to Fluttershy?" he asked in a whisper. Jor turned to him then back at the Pegasus. She turned to him with a snarl and opened her mouth wide. Her teeth dripping with saliva. She snapped her jaws. Discord nodded. "Okay, looks like we both have something in common." he said.
"Well." he stretched. "It has been fun." he said with a yawn. "But I really need some shuteye." a bed appeared and he laid on it. "I won't tell anyone." he said as he vanished.
Jor looked at Fluttershy with a look of confusion. Fluttershy smiled. "It's okay, he's always like that." she said. Jor looked at Fluttershy and thought back to what Discord said.
Her eyes widened as an idea came into her head. With a grin. She went to her ear and pulled something from the ring. Fluttershy never noticed she had an earring. Jor then opened her palm before Fluttershy and showed her an old horn. Fluttershy looked up at Jor.
"What is this?" she asked. She gently picked it up and studied it. She then blew into it. It made a deep noise. She stopped and looked up to see that Jor had turned her head to the side and showed her her ear. Fluttershy's eyes widened as she realized what if was. It was a horn that if she blew into, only Jor would hear and she would come to her.
"Jor, thank you, but I do not need this." she said. Jor backed away.
Jor didn't want Fluttershy to give this up. If she was ever in trouble, Jor would help her. Jor will always help someone who she considers an ally or friend. Fluttershy nodded. "Thank you. If I am ever in trouble, I will call for you." she said. Jor nodded. Fluttershy looked at the sunset and realized she had to get home. "I have to go back to Ponyville or my friends where wonder where I really am." she said.
Jor nodded. Fluttershy flapped her wings and began to fly away but turned back to Jor. "By Jor, see you soon!" she called out. Jor nodded. Little did they know that a fly with Discord's head had watched the whole thing. With a poof of clouds, Discord had vanished. And Jor slithered back to her temple.
Fluttershy flew back to her cabin and went inside. Angel was sleeping soundly. She landed on the ground and looked at the horn, she then placed it in a drawer next to her bed. After that, she paced for a while. She was now desperate to know what Jor was. She knew that there was only one place that might have that information, and she really didn't want to go there. But now, she had no choice.
