It was the next morning, the sun going through the window had the perfect angle to shine on my face. I opened my eyes and quickly closed them because of it while shifting my body away from it. When I did so, I felt something warm and soft. I slowly started to fall asleep with this new warmness until I realized that this might be a pony. My eyes shot up as I jumped out of bed while trying not to panic. Pins and needles were radiating around my ankles as I wobbled to the nearest chair. I sat down and looked at what was on my bed.

On my bed were was Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy who was my supposed 'warm pillow'. I sighed as I rubbed the bridge of my nose.

"What happened last night?" I ask aloud.

I heard the sound of hooves behind me, as I looked over my shoulder Tempest was there in her armor. "I believe I can answer that for you Emerson." She said.

I was hesitant on what whether she should explain, but she continued anyway, "While you and these six ponies were having a good time and getting to know one another in the Dining area, Applejack brought some Apple Cider that was left over since the Festival."

"So we got drunk?" She nodded as I quickly felt my body, I still had the same clothing I had since yesterday, "I don't have a headache or anything." I glance at the ponies that were on my bed.

Tempest shook her head, "You didn't have any Apple Cider because it had Acholol in it and that your world has a drinking age limit." She sat in front of me, "If you're wondering if anything... Sexual happened, you wouldn't need to worry, while you went to be by yourself those six got drunk and decided to join you and sleep. I tried to stop them, but I guess a drunk Princess still has power over me." Tempest shrugged.

I nodded as the pins and needle feeling dissipated, "As long as nothing intimate happened, then I guess it's fine with me." While Tempest gave me a small smile, I got up and grabbed another change of clothing from my box while making my way to the bathroom.

While I took my shower I heard the bathroom door open, "Um, Emerson?" It was Fluttershy who is making her way to the bathroom. I peeked my head out of the shower curtain, "Y-Yes?" I asked, feeling embarrassed somewhat.

Fluttershy was no different, she was blushing up a storm when she spoke, "The girls and I were... Um... Drunk last night, Tempest told me that nothing happened while we were drunk, but I smelt your scent on my coat."

I internally smacked my forehead, "The sun was in the angle of hitting my face and when I shifted to get away from it, my head landed on your barrel."

Fluttershy sighed with relief, "Thank goodness, I thought I did something that would make me feel horrible."

I nodded, "Yeah, sorry for the misunderstanding."

We both chuckled as Fluttershy turned but stopped at the door, "I'm going to fix everyone breakfast, have any suggestions?"

"Eggs and Pancakes?" I asked as she nodded and left the bathroom as she saying 'I'll get starting right away.'

When I finished my shower and got changed, I went back to my room to find that my bed was finally empty. Tempest was sitting near the door as I put my dirty laundry on top of the cabinet.

"I woke up everyone and they're in the Dining room, some with slight headaches." Tempest informed me.

"Thanks for that, want to head to the kitchen and have some breakfast with us?" I asked.

She shook her head, "I already had some before my shift."

"Oh alright then."

"But thanks for the offer, I'll lead you to the dining room," She said as she trots out of my room and down the hallway. I followed her as we went to the dining area where the girls were on a seat and having a conversation.

"Thanks, Tempest," I say as she nodded and resumed her patrol around the castle.

I walked over to the fix mares and took a seat next to Applejack, "Morning girls, did you all have a nice rest?"

They were silent when I spoke, Twilight, Rarity, and Applejack were blushing a little as I shook my head, "You girls had your fun with Apple cider, but if nothing happened then we shall never speak of it again." I said as the nodded their head probably making them feel better. I noticed that Starlight and Spike weren't here and I asked Twilight about it.

"Starlight has gone with Trixie on a trip to Vanhoover for the week. Spike on the other hoof, is a growing dragon and needs his rest. A dragon grows healthier if he or she sleeps for around 12-14 hours a day. Dragon Ruler Ember informed me of how I was sleep depriving him, so I decided to follow her advice." She explained as I nodded.

"Fair enough," I say as Fluttershy came in with a platter of pancakes and scrambled eggs. With her wings, she slid the platter between us and took a seat next to Rainbow Dash.

Once we had breakfast in our stomachs, Applejack had to leave for farm work, Rainbow Dash had Wonderbolts training to take care of, Fluttershy (while she loved fixing us breakfast) had to go feed her animals, and Rarity had some commissions to finish. Leaving just Twilight, Pinkie Pie and I in the castle to clean up and make a plate for Spike.

"Pinkie?" She turned to face me, "Could you get Catrina and Stratus Skyranger to meet me at the house while Twilight and I move the box's over?"

"Sure thing! Oh, do you want me to inform Clear Skies and Prism Frost about the news?" She asked.

I turned to Twilight, "I was hoping to ask Twilight if they could have my room instead."

Twilight's ears perked up, "Oh? Is their situation that bad?" I nodded and explained it, "Well, as long as they help out around the castle and pay for rent, then I have no issues with them staying."

"Awesome, you're the best Twilight," I say as I nodded to Pinkie and she saluted and bounced away.

The purple Alicorn and I made our way back to my room as I put the dirty laundry into a sperate box and closed it.

"Did you want me to use teleporting spell to get these boxes to your house?" She asked.

"You sure? Wouldn't that strain your magic or something?"

She shook her head, "If I teleport this amount of boxes from Canterlot to Ponyville I would, but it would take me about two days to recharge so to speak."

"Sure, do I have to prepare for anything?" I asked.

Twilight hummed for a moment, "Just touch my barrel and I'm sure you'll be fine."

I nodded as I touched Twilights back as her horn lit up. I closed my eyes and there was a sudden flash that I could see with my eyelids shut. I opened them and I saw... That I was still in my room without my stuff and Twilight. I blinked for a few times as I walked forward a little bit to only see a flash of light. I turned my head to see a perplexed Twilight.

"Um... Is my stuff alright?" I asked.

Twilight nodded slowly as she trots over to me, "Emerson, may I scan you? I've never encountered a species that didn't come with me via magical teleportation."

"Uh... Will it hurt?"

She shook her head, "No, it's just a harmless scan to check on you."

I nodded, "Sure, scan away then."

Her horn lights up and like a scanner, went up and down my body. When she was finished, her eyes widened as she came closer. "Emerson, touch my horn..."

The horn in question lights up again as I gingerly touch it and the aura just turns off. I'm just feeling a horn and it's like feeling a healthy ram's horn. I looked at the purple Alicorn and she seemed to be struggling to cast any sort of magic.

"E-Emerson... Y-you can pull your hand away now..." She grunts as I pulled away and she gasped as her light brilliant raspberry aura brightens.

"Are you alright Twilight?" I asked as I tucked my hands into my pockets.

Twilight's panting finally subsided as she gained back her composure, "Yes, I'm fine, it's just that you're unaffected by magic... You're a type of magic nullifier. Emerson, while you're working on the library, may I conduct some research into this matter?"

I stroked my chin in thought, "Is it bad that I'm unaffected by magic?"

She nodded, "Yes and no. No, because if anything hostile magical related comes to you, you'll be unaffected. Yes, because if you have any physical injuries, it would take awhile to heal. Do you know how long it would take for a human to heal without magic?"

"I don't know how long it would take to heal the occasional scab or skin injury, but I do know it takes six weeks to heal a broken bone, ten weeks if it's fractured," I informed her.

"Well... It wouldn't hurt for me to study why you're unaffected by magic, so I can find out how to help if you get injured in any way," Twilight said as she sat down on the crystal floor.

I shrugged, "I guess that's fair." I double checked the room around me to make sure there were no other belongings that were left behind, "I'll let you conduct your research as long as it will help me in the long run. Also, I believe this will make us even about favors." I said as Twilight smiled and gave me a nod.

"Of course Emerson, I can agree with that, however, for now, I guess we could walk to your house." She said as we walked out of my room.

"Sure thing Twilight," I say as we head out into the hallway.

When we walked back to my house, Catrina, Stratus, Clear Skies, Prism, and Pinkie were having a conversation in the front. They stopped to face Twilight and I as we went through the front gate.

"So, what's your final verdict?" Clear Skies asked, "Pinkie left us in the dark."

"Pfft! Silly, that would ruin the surprise." Pinkie giggled.

"Well Emerson," Catrina spoke as she wore the same outfit from last night, "What was your choice?"

I sighed, "Well all four of you were amazing to talk to and while Clear Skies and Prism Frost were interesting... I hate to pick between pairs, but I would have to pick Catrina and Stratus Skyranger." The two mares looked down as I continued, "I felt bad for not picking you two, but I do have an alternative. Twilight?"

She stepped forward, "Emerson explained to me the situation that you're in. So, he asked me for a favor and I would allow you two to live in my castle."

Both Clear Skies and Prism Frost's jaws dropped by what Twilight just said. I just smiled at their reactions, "So what do you girls think?" The two mares jumped up and hugged me. I lightly hugged them back as they thanked me over and over.

"That's very nice of you to do Emerson," Stratus said as Catrina nodded in agreement.

I shrugged as the two pony mares backed away, "It was the only solution I could think of to make both parties happy."

Twilight trots to Prism and Skies, "I'll be accompanying you to your apartment so we can get you packed and ready."

Both girls had excited expressions on their face as they led Twilight to their apartment while saying goodbye to me. When the mares left I turned to Catrina and Stratus who were giving me a smile. I noticed that Catrina snapped her fingers and suddenly their belongings were behind them.

"Alright, is there anything you both would like to say then?" I asked.

Stratus spoke first, "Thank you for having me."

"Yes, I would have said the same." Catrina said as she picked up her bag, "Let's get settled in shall we?"

I nodded as I grabbed the keys from my pocket and unlocked the door. Catrina and Stratus went upstairs to pick out their rooms while my room was on the first floor which is the master bedroom with the half bath. Twilight's teleportation was on point to teleport my stuff on my floor and bed.

I stretched and popped my back, "Well time to get to work." I started to unpack my belongings.

When I finished the first five box's, there was knock on my doorframe, "Emerson?" It was Stratus who asked.

I turned around, "Yes?"

"I'm going to head out and get us some groceries, I'm actually surprised that all the appliances are included in the house." She said with a smile.

"Really?" I wondered, but it clicked in my head, "Oh, right this house used to be haunted, but it was cleansed by Zecora I believe." I explained as Stratus nods.

"Oh~! That's why there's furniture here covered in plastic... I guess these are yours?" She asked.

I shrugged as I opened the box to reveal my anime merchandise, "I guess? When I bought the house from the housing office, I think everything that comes with the house is mine now."

"Alright, well, I'm going to head out now," Stratus asked.

"Wait," I say as I heard her stop. When she turned around I tossed her one of the house keys, "Don't lose that and make sure you get some kind of meat when you're shopping."

She grabbed my key with her talons, "I'll have to get a string real quick to put it around my neck." She said as she snickers, "Of course Emerson, I believe Catrina is the only Carnivore in the house, I believe you and I are Omnivores?"

I nodded, "Yep, I trust you to get the right stuff, but just in case it digs into your wallet or Bits," I tossed her a Platinum coin and she caught it, "That should help you along the way."

Stratus smiled, "Thanks, Emerson," She turned to head out, "I'll be back to fix some dinner for us to celebrate."

"That sounds good can't wait to have your cooking." I could imagine the smile Stratus had when she left.

After getting my belongings out of the boxes and collapsing them, I set up my computer as it dawned that I wouldn't be able to power the damn thing. I looked at the walls and found out that there were no electrical outlets to which I sighed.

"So is this the computer thing you were talking about?" I looked at my doorway to see Catrina, in a different outfit which is a Cami Dress showing a generous amount of cleavage.

Trying not to look at her chest, to which I did, I responded, "Yes, but it needs electricity in order to work though."

I noticed her tail was wagging about in curiosity, "Hmm, how much power does it run on? Klugetown has electricity, it's used to power the airships, but you'll need a type of coal engine to do so."

Her tail rests on the bed as I sat on the office chair, "It needs..." I lean in to see through the desktop that has a plastic panel, "Um... Do you know what a Watt is?" I asked.

"Yes, I know what Watts, they're a unit of power."

I gulped, thinking that this world isn't advanced enough to produce much electricity, "Would it be too much to ask if it needs 600 Watts?"

Catrina waved her hand as she sat on my bed, "Emerson, it takes at least one million Watts to make an airship fly and move forward. I'm sure I can make something for you."

I turned to face Catrina who was curled up on my bed like a house cat would. However, I realized that she wasn't wearing any pants and the dress wasn't covering her butt as her tail was wiggling around.

My face burned when I saw that, "R-Really?" I try to look at the shelves other than her breasts being squished together by her arms.

To top it all off she was purring very cutely, "These beds are so~ comfortable~" She stretched as she continued, "Yes, I can make something for you, but what are you willing to do for me?" Catrina rolled on to her stomach and rests her head on top of her hands with a smirk.

I calmed a down a bit as I cleared my throat, "W-what would you want from me exactly?"

She hummed as her finger went up and touched my knee, "Well~ If I make you this machine to run your computer and other things, you would have to let me see how they work and help me get ingredients for my next set of potions. You won't be going into the woods to get anything, it's just a few common herbs that are being sold at the market."

"So... Just an errand boy and I get to show you how this computer works?" I asked, making sure there was nothing else.

Cartina got into a sitting position and cupped my cheek, "Yes, but I may have something else, just one favor to top if off."

I nodded, "Those two things and an extra favor." She nodded with a smile, "Then we have a deal!"

I thought I was going to give Catrina a handshake, but she suddenly hugs me by squishing my face into her soft furry breasts. I had my hands in the air, but they made their way to hug her back.

"Thank you~!" She cheered as she let me go, "I love things that make me curious and these things from your world is very interesting!"

I smiled as I chuckled, "I'm glad that you're happy."

Catrina made a sultry chuckle "And you didn't react badly when I hugged you then."

I blushed as I turned my head in another direction, "I-I don't know what you mean?!"

She continued to laugh whole heartily, "Aww is Emerson embarrassed easily by women?"

I got up, but when I was about to speak, it was just a stuttering mess, "Y-Yes a-and n-no, but I've n-never had a g-girlfriend or w-whatever." I internally smacked my forehead why I said that in the first place. 'What are you thinking you, idiot!' I internally asked.

"Hmm," Catrina also got up as well and cupped my cheek with her paw, "Sounds to me that this is going to be very~ interesting~"

My face was now feeling that it was beet red as I heard the front door open, "Emerson? Catrina? I'm back from the market!"

'Saved by the Hippogriff!' I thought as I spoke, "Coming!" I dashed quickly but felt Catrina's tail brushing on my side as I went out of my room. Out of all the anime, I've watched where the protagonist gets smothered in girls or that one girl who takes advantage of me, I would have known better. However, when it came to actually doing something like that my confidence gets shattered. I'm ashamed of myself for even running away like that, but I know that I'll have to face that again sooner or later.

I joined up with Stratus to only realize that the sun was setting in the distance. It was very moody inside the kitchen as that quickly changed when I flipped the light switch. The lightbulbs struggled as they flickered on to reveal the kitchen. On the kitchen island, Stratus had set down several brown bags of groceries. Being curious, I look into the bags and found that there was an assortment of veggies, fruits, and meat varying to chicken and beef. The last bag had eggs, bread, dried pasta, some general ingredients and most of all some beverages.

"You definitely went all out when it came to shopping," I said as she chuckled.

"Aww, don't be silly, I had to get enough to accommodate for all three of us." She said as she started to put the meat in the fridge. I began to help her out by putting the ingredients into an adjacent cabinet. That's when Catrina walked in and had a cup in her hand.

"Did you get any milk?" She asked.

Stratus shook her head, "There was no shop open that sold milk."

Just when Catrina was about to protest I spoke, "I could visit Applejack, she has a pen full of cows, I'm sure she has some milk stored somewhere."

The cat woman was silent as Stratus and I were putting away the groceries. After I finished the first bag she walked to the sink and filled up her cup with water.

"I'm going to go to bed tonight, I have to collect some ingredients in the Everfree with Zecora," Catrina informed.

"Did you want to have some dinner?" Stratus asked as we both finished putting away the groceries.

She shook her head, "I had a heavy lunch after I unpacked everything in my room. You two can go ahead and have dinner, but save some for me when I go to the Forest tomorrow."

"Sure thing Catrina," I said as her tail wiggled with my response, "Have a good night."

"Same here," Stratus added as Catrina nodded and said goodnight as she went upstairs.

Stratus turned to me, "Would you like Spaghetti with meatballs?"

I smiled, "Would I?" I was waiting for Stratus to say 'Would you?' so I could say it again, but realized I don't want to do that and continued, "Yes I would Stratus."

"Good! I'll fix it right up!" Stratus cheered as she grabbed the new pots and pans from the bottom cabinet.

Dinner was great with Stratus her spaghetti was spot on and I honestly can't wait for what other dishes she has in store for Catrina and I. While I was washing the dishes, Stratus was leaning against the kitchen island.

"So~ judging from Catrina's reaction when you spoke to her..." Stratus spoke as I stopped scrubbing a plate, "I suppose she was teasing you?"

I turned my head to see Stratus looking a bit concerned as I sighed, "Y-Yes..." I said with a blush.

She nodded as I turned back to the sink and continued washing, "She was teasing me as well when we got to Zecora's. When I asked the Zebra why she acted like that she told me that Catrina does that to anyone she meets, rarely she goes any further, but stops at a point." I finished cleaning the last pot and put it on the drying rack.

"Catrina does this for fun I guess?" I asked her when I turned around.

The Hippogriff shook her head, "I asked Zecora the same thing, but it wasn't her place to say. So I guess?"

I nodded, "Well if Catrina has anything to say then we can listen right?" Stratus smiled and nodded as I stretched, "Well I don't know about you, but I'm wanting to try out those beds that came with the house."

"Oh! I've tried the bed and they were comfortable, I can't wait to sleep in it." Stratus exclaims.

"Did you want me to fix some breakfast for us both then?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yes!" She covered her beak and lowered her voice, "I would love to try your worlds cuisine if you don't mind."

I chuckled, "Sure thing, I just got to set my alarm for that, but for now, I guess I'll wish you a good night." I informed her as I walked to the front door and made sure it was locked.

Stratus said the same as she went upstairs to her room as I closed my door to my own. I got undressed for the first time since I like being in my undergarments when I sleep and I got into the covers of my bed. I sighed in content as the bed seemed to be really soft, but not too soft to hurt my back.

I opened my eyes as I looked at the ceiling, but I smiled and chuckled, "Here we go. A new life in Equestria."
