Explaining Ki

"Gohan can you please teach me something?"

I looked up from the book I was reading to see Spike in the doorway. I sighed and marked my place in the book. I stood up and walked over to him. I saw all the girls behind him trying very hard to hide. "Girls I can scene your energy so no point in hiding. Plus I can see Pinkie's tail and your hat Applejack." They all came out of their hiding place and looked at us. They all dashed over and looked at me. Rainbow was in the air with a smile on her face and patted Spike's head.

"Sorry, Gohan we know you wouldn't hurt spike we're just protective."

All of them looked shocked when Rainbow apologized to me. "It's ok, but Spike will not be starting with combat or technique training." They all looked at me with questioning looks but as I was about to answer Discord popped out of the wall.

"I want to hear this too."

I smiled and waved for them all of them follow me outside. Fluttershy was walking beside me and was holding my Gi. She was still just as scared as when I saved her and Twilight. I couldn't blame her seeing what happened to her. I walked out of the main door then around to the back of the castle. Spike ran up beside me and

"Where are we going?"

I smiled and patted his head. "Oh, just going to teach you how to control your Ki." He looked up at my face and looked confused.

"Why not hand to hand or one of those blast attacks."

I laughed as Twilight told him to be more polite to me as I am his martial arts master. I smiled as we all walked into the middle of the backyard. "Alright, Spike sit down then I'll explain why you're starting with energy training." He sat down and all of the others. Discord just made a chair and a glass of chocolate milk. I looked at him he looked at me.

"What?"

He asked then took a long sip of his drink. I felt my left eye twitch. "I swear I will find a way to make you make sense Discord." He laughed a few times then made another chocolate milk.

"If you wanted one all you had to ask Gohan."

I looked at him now annoyed and pointed a finger that the glass. "Ok, you're just getting on my nerves now Discord. Spike pay attention to my fingertip."

"Yes, master Gohan."

I moved a bit of my energy to my fingertip and made a small ball of energy. "Discord unless you want to get blown up throw the glass into the air."

"YES, SIR!"

He threw it high and I a stuck my thumb up to help my aim. I saw it was high enough I shot the glass off of the air. The glass shattered and milk turned to steam. I lowered my hand and looked at Spike's amazed face.

"Gohan?"

I looked at Twilight and saw she had quill and paper in hand ready to write. "Yes, Twi?" She blushed at her nickname which I thought was strange. She only blushed when I called her Twi and not her name.

"Can you please tell me how Ki works and how you use it?"

I smiled and held my hand back out. "Sure just watch my hand and watch the energy closely." I Made a ball of energy about the size of a baseball. "Much like you your magic I can create and control balls of energy or attacks. I've also seen a few namekians who could use it to heal someone even if they're near death." I then threw the ball into the air then it disappeared.

"Why did it disappear?"

Spike asked out loud to no one. "Spike." He and everyone looked at me again. "I cut the energy flow to the ball Spike. Without a constant flow of energy, it will just fade away."

"So, the energy can only be sustained if you feed it a constant flow of energy?"

I nodded and then smirked as I held my right arm out in front of me. "I also may have learned a few tricks of my own." I used my Ki to double the size of my arm muscles. Everyone's eyes were wide as I let my arm shrink. I laid my arm back down on my leg and as they all looked at me. I saw Rainbow and Applejack drooling as they looked at me.

"How did you do that?"

I looked at Rarity and smiled as I answered her. "Well, you see I can use my Ki to increase my muscle mass with my Ki. The problem with that is when I do that I lose Seven-five percent of my speed. But I get an eighty percent power increase in pure destructive power. It also drains my stamina quickly when I do that. My muscles will tear if I stay in it too long as well." I saw stars in spikes eyes and then Twilight held her hand up. "Yes, Twilight?" She scooted closer and looked me in the eye.

"What was that golden energy in the sky when you fought with Discord over there?"

"Oh, that is my super Saiyan form." She and all the others looked at me and pinkie appeared beside in the blink of an eye.

"What is a super Sayain Gohan?"

I moved back a little and then started to answer her. "Well, you see super Sayian is a form I can take to increase my power several folds. That muscle trick is something I can do before going super Saiyan two. " Twilight was writing all this down and then looked at me. Pinkie, on the other hand, was back in her first sitting spot.

"Can you show us this super Saiyan form of yours?"

I smiled and nodded at them. I tried to get up off the ground but couldn't. I looked down and saw Fluttershy's hand was holding my Gi so I couldn't get up. She looked up at me and blushed when I looked into her eyes.

"Sorry, Gohan."

She let my Gi go. I stood up and flew about twenty feet away from them. I landed and started to raise my Ki. First, my ki exploded from my body pure white energy poured out of my body.

"COOL!"

Spike jumped up and ran over to me.

"Can you teach me to do that!?"

"ME TOO!"

Rainbow had jumped up and flew over to us. I laughed and looked at the two of them. "Sure but sit back down I'm only in my base form max. Spike smiled and was jumping up and with excitement in his eyes. Rainbow, on the other hand, flew a few feet away from me and started to try and summon her Ki. I just laughed knowing she'd never get it without me teaching her how to use it. I stopped laughing after a second and widened my stance then start to raise my Ki again. My energy turn gold and I felt my hair stand up. "AAAAAHHHHH!" I had reached my super Saiyan form. Spike was looking at me with stars in his eyes.

"AWESOME!"

I smiled and started to slow the Ki coming from my body. I looked back to the girls and Discord. They all looked at me shocked at what I just done. I noticed Twilight, Fluttershy and Rainbow's wings all stiff in the air. I wondered why they were in the air but then thought I could ask later. I let my energy die down and left my golden hair and slight muscle increase. I smiled and started to punch and kick the air around me getting the energy in my body moving.

"Will I be able to do that?"

I stopped and looked at Spike as he was looking at me. "I'm sorry spike but your not a Sayain so you can't go super Sayain." He looked at me with defeat in his eyes like Trunks when I lost my arm. "Oh, cheer up little guy. Just you wait and see in one year I'll have you blowing up mountains." He ] started to punch the air in front of him with a smile on his face. Then he stopped and looked at me.

"Wait for just a second Gohan. You blow up that huge hill outside of town with one attack right?"

I powered down and looked at him. "That's right I did Spike."

"So, was that like a full power attack in your base form or what?"

"Oh, I see what you're asking Spike. But the answer is no it was more like I flicked my wrist." Rarity and Spike looked at me shocked at what I had just said. They came out their shock Spike looked at me like I was a superhero.

"Just how strong are you?"

I looked at Spike and started to think about it. "I guess if I pushed my power to the max I could destroy a plant with one attack." I heard glass break and looked over at Discord. His glass of chocolate milk as his eye fell out of his head with his jaw on the ground. Rainbow and Applejack looked at me with wide eyes. Rarity and Fluttershy had fainted and was being held up by both Pinkie and Twilight. Both of them were looking at me like I just slapped them.

"AWESOME!"

I looked down at spike as he ran around me like an over-excited child. I laughed and then put a hand on the top of his head. "Ok, calm down Spike. Besides, I couldn't do that to any plant." he looked up at me and tilted his head.

"Why not? If you can just destroy your enemies why not do it?"

I frowned and punched the top of his head. He yelped and looked up at me again.

"What as that for?!"

I narrowed my eyes making him flinched. "Spike think of more than just the enemy. You have to think of the people around you. What would happen to them if you did something like that." He stared at the ground now.

"Sorry master Gohan."

I sighed and patted his head. "It's fine Spike. I will teach you the best way to fight your enemies."
