Fleur De Lis woke up with a smile she couldn't wait for Fluttershy to turn up, having a student to teach felt good to her but she had other things to attend to first such as a secret meeting with the girls. She trotted over to the bathroom and began brushing her mane, she scowled the tangle were getting in the way again. She turned around as she heard a knocking on the door, a mare said “Miss Fleur, breakfast is almost ready.”

Fleur called out “Thanks Heartsong, your a good friend.”

Heartsong said in a calm manner “Thanks, Miss Fleur your too kind.” Fleur smiled as she heard her bouncing down the stairs in glee. She always tried to make my servants happy, they do good work, they are the closest thing she had to family.

She arrived in the dining room and took a seat. She frowned at the blank white walls, she hated the colour to be honest, it was bland and droll, still Canterlot elites seem to like it so she had to keep up appearances. She smiled as my personal chef Hot Sauce brought in a lovely salad, She said with a smile“Thank you Hot Sauce, I’m glad your here, you are a good friend.”

Hot Sauce said “I’m just a humble servant nothing more,”

She laughed as she replied “Nonsense, your always welcome here my friend.”

Fleur grabbed a fork with my right hoof and started to eat. Hot Sauce asked confused “Why are you using your hooves?”

Fleur replied seriously “I prefer it this way, it’s a matter of choice plus magic can be depleted when you use too much of it, I would like to be able to feed myself even if my magic is depleted.” Hot Sauce nodded with a smile.

Fleur blinked as she looked at the time “She grabbed her saddlebags and galloped out the door.”

As she was galloping she bumped into Fancy Pants. She got up and dusted herself off, quickly composing herself. Fancy Pants asked “Are you okay?”

Fleur smiled as she said “Yes I am, thanks for asking.” She then gasped “Oh sorry, I have forgotten my manners, I’m sorry for bumping into you, I really need to going.It was nice seeing you Fancy Pants.” Fleur arrived at a small cave entrance in the Canterlot Mountain, she entered the cave. She arrived in the central part of the cave, Vinyl and Octavia smiled at her.

Vinyl said “It’s good to see, Pale Shield.”

Fleur replied “Same to you Lightning Storm,” she then said “It’s good to see you as well Tremor Spirit.”

Octavia bowed “It’s good to see you too.”

Fleur laughed “You don’t need to be so formal around us, it’s just greeting.”

Vinyl said “Yeah Tavi, we always greet each other by our old names first because changelings can be deceptive but we don’t need to keep going with the whole formal thing.”

Octavia said clearly agitated “Firstly, stop calling me Tavi, Vinyl and secondly we should get this underway.” Fleur nodded and Vinyl nodded as they glowed their horns, a small glow appeared above Octavia’s head as well.

The 3 ponies changed shape, Fleur’s true form a beautiful slender Alicorn slightly taller than Celestia with a flowing pink mane, she stared at Vinyl who was about her height but a little stockier smiling as she unfolds her wings. Octavia meanwhile is slightly taller then them both but she had a much stockier build then her friends. Octavia said “I’m glad to stretch my wings and use magic.”

Vinyl mocked her “That’s what you get for disguising as an Earth Pony, you can’t use magic.”

Fleur sighed as Octavia chased after Vinyl angrily shouting for almost the best part of an hour while Vinyl stuck her tongue out at her. After they finally stopped Vinyl asked with a smirk “Did I make you mad?”

Octavia snarled “There’s nothing wrong with Earth Ponies.”

Vinyl replied with a smile “I didn’t say there was I just stated the fact they can’t use magic and that’s your fault you can’t use magic because you picked a race to disguise yourself as that can’t use magic.”

I said “Vinyl enough, we’re here to discuss matter like the changelings, as well as own personal problems amongst ourselves.”

Vinyl asked “Why do we have to keep hiding?”

I said “Because we would disrupt the delicate balance of power, we only have 3 Alicorns imagine the turmoil of 6, particularly when we are all more powerful then the current ones, I should know I raised Tia and Lulu myself back in the old days.”

Octavia said “You were quite a warrior, you defeated Tirek after he stole

thousands of Alicorn’s magic.”

Vinyl shouted “Yeah you are awesome.”

I sighed as I replied “Not awesome enough to save our race during the war with Draconequi, I told you to get Tia and Lulu out of there so they didn’t get caught in Megiddo.”

Octavia and Vinyl gasped, Octavia “Megiddo, the god spell, I can’t believe you used it.”

Vinyl frowned taking a serious tone as she spoke “That spell was forbidden by the Alicorn council, why did you do it?”

Fleur snarled “The world would have been at the mercy of the Draconequi, all life would be trapped in eternal chaos, I made a choice to save all other races by condemning them as they condemned us.”

Octavia said “That’s all I wanted to know, you did what had to be done.”

Vinyl said “Yeah you would be the Princess of War if you were revealed.”

Fleur sighed with a sad smile “I’m not proud of being a killer you know.”

Octavia smiled warmly as she said “It's okay, you did your best.” Fleur felt a tear drop from her eye and another as she remembered the friends she had lost, soon she was crying on Octavia’s shoulder.

Fleur woke to find herself still in the cave with her friends. Vinyl asked “Are you okay, Fleur?”

Fleur said “Yeah, I’m fine.”

Octavia asked “What are we going to do about the changelings?”

Vinyl said “I’d say we watch and wait before acting.”

Fleur said “Vinyl I agree, that is a smart move, we may not need to do anything.”

Octavia said “Very well, we should get going it’s late.”

Fleur gasped “Oh no I was supposed to meet with Fluttershy today, I have to go.” She teleported home.

Vinyl said “I just hope she remembers to disguise herself.” Octavia nod as they reapply their disguises and Vinyl teleports them home.

Fleur noticing everypony was asleep, she teleported to her bedroom, quickly brushed her teeth and then quickly got under her blankets, and fell asleep not realising her wings were dangling off the bedside.
