Pinkie entered the docks, it opened up to the outside of the hive at the back, several large scaffolds were either side of large rectangular holes where airship frames were being constructed. Pinkie asked across the Hivemind “I want the chief engineer here, now?!”

She watched as a Mechling galloped towards her. He said “Chief Engineer Cid at you service.”

Pinkie asked “Cid, how is construction?”

Cid smiled as he spoke in his gruff voice “We have 20 large airships under construction,when they are finished they will have full enchanted mythril plating as well as twenty armoured magnetic canons on either side.”

Pinkie smiled back “Good, we need them ready before the the other hives get here, we want them to be able to be intimidated enough by us to keep their distance.”

Cid slanted “Yes, my Queen.”

She could hear him as he shouted through the Hive Mind “Get to work you lousy excuses for engineers!”

Pinkie laughed as she left the docks leaving the engineers to their work. Luna and Twilight galloped over, Twilight asked eagerly “What were the airships like?”

Pinkie smirked “Metal Frames.”

Twilight gasped “What?”

Luna smiled “What she was implying was they aren’t finished yet.”

Twilight said “Well I have several design ideas on how to make better airships.”

Pinkie replied “That sounds interesting but you should speak with Cid, in the meantime I need to visit Rainbow and Rarity.” Twilight squealed with delight as she galloped to the docks her heavy saddlebags swaying beside her.

Luna asked “We have a multiple reports of angry ponies after the incident.”

Pinkie sighed “I know, to think one of my own could turn out like that and with mother in the castle everything’s going wrong.”

Luna smiled “Well at least…”

Pinkie gave her the harshest glare “Don’t you dare say that, never tempt fate, she is a fickle mistress at the best of times and this is not one of them.” Pinkie and Luna finally made their way to the Infirmary.

The Changeling nurse said “Rarity just woke up, I assume you wish to see her.” Pinkie and Luna nodded. The nurse said “Very well, I’ll take you there.”

Luna asked “What’s your name?”

The Nurse smiled “My name is Swiftswim, thanks for asking.”

Luna said “Your welcome.”

The trio arrived at the door. Pinkie said “We should knock first.”

Luna and Nurse Swiftswim asked “Why?”

Pinkie smirked “Don’t want to interrupt anything unless you want in on it.” Luna’s face lit up like a Christmas tree. Pinkie knocked on the door. She asked “Are you two presentable?”

Rainbow gasped from the other side of the door. The sound of a crash and a bang on the other side gave the exact answer. 40 minutes later Rainbow Dash opened the door, smelling like soap. Pinkie smirked “You two did something, didn’t you?”

Rainbow blushed profusely at the notion. Pinkie said “It’s all right, Rainbow you always were the eager one.”

Nurse Swiftswim frowned “No it’s not, she just woke up and that’s the first thing you do.”

Rarity said as she wheeled her way on a chair “It’s fine, she was really gentle and stopped when I said stop, she is quite the gentlemare.”

Nurse Swiftswim sighed as she trotted into the room. She levitated the soiled sheets and left the room in a huff. Pinkie smirked “You really made a mess in here.”

Rainbow sighed “This is all Prism’s fault, he hurt the both of us.”

Pinkie smiled “Don’t worry, I’m glad you two are happy. Rarity you will stay in here for a a few more day for test and then you will be free to return home.”

Rarity said “I will be quite busy, I will have many dress orders to get done.”

Rainbow smiled “I’ll help.” Pinkie smiled as she thought (Wow I knew she loved her but that was unexpected)

********Meanwhile with Twilight********

Twilight galloped into the docks, her eyes widened at the scale of it. She saw the airships being built. A gruff voice said “You must be Twilight, I’m Cid.”

Twilight smiled “I have several ideas for airships.”

Cid said “Normally I prefer my own designs but since you are a friend of Pinkie’s I’ll give you a chance.” Twilight pulled out a plan. Cid frowned “Why does this ship have only 3 small guns at the front?”

Twilight explained “Well, this is a smaller ship they can disrupt larger ships at close range. You could fit a large amount in a larger ship.”

Cid said “I see, not a bad idea but we have all hooves on deck so we can’t build anymore right now but it is definitely worth something.”

Twilight said “ I also have a bomber design, a design for a scouting ship and a design for a mobile flying base.”

Cid smiled “I admire your enthusiasm. I’ll see you in a month so we can work on some of these.”

Twilight bounced up and down “Thank you, thank you.”

He smiled “Run along kiddo, I have work to do.” Twilight excitedly galloped out of the room.
