It's been a week she arrived Chrysalis smiled with a toothy grin as she and Celestia were reading another one of Starswirl’s books.

Celestia smiled “I remember the time when he first taught me teleportation, he really struggled to find me. My sister I must admit wasn’t as interested as I was in magic. She spent a lot of her time learning from Flash Magnus about flight.”

Chrysalis asked “Why were you being taught by a unicorn?”

Celestia said “Pale Shield was a guard and before that my parents were too busy with diplomatic meetings. My guess for why Luna was conceived was to protect the lesser ponies from changelings in exchange for a connection to the gods.”

Chrysalis sighed “I screwed it all up, I mean that’s all I have ever done. What’s even worse is I used all my daughters to further my own ends, from wanting more prestige amongst the hives to providing for the hive. I should be dead right now.”

Celestia frowned “Don’t say that, I must admit I have grown to enjoy our company. Let’s just say that nobleponies aren't exactly fun to be around.

Chrysalis sighed ‘I understand what your saying, it’s just I have made so many foolish decisions, I was supposed to be a good leader, my mother always pushed me.”

Celestia said in a serious tone “You’re not the only one, I ignored Discord for too many years, I thought he was just a fun lover but then he turned cruel, maybe had I given him my time he may have been different. Then I made the same mistake again and my sister spent 1000 years on the moon for it, you can fix this trust me.”

Chrysalis smiled “Thanks Celestia, that means a lot.” Chrysalis turned back to the book only to feel a flick of a tail on her flank, she sighed on the inside (It’s been a week since we started doing this and Celestia has been doing this to me for 3 days now.)

Celestia smiled “I have spent too much time in the castle and so have you.”

Chrysalis blinked confused “But don’t I need a royal… oh.” Celestia and I stepped out of the Castle, She smiled at me warmly. I then realised as I tasted her emotions (Oh dear, my daughter will kill me.)

She sighed as she and Celestia trotted out to the front of Canterlot Castle. One of the guards said as he pointed at me “Princess, she’s not allowed out without a Royal Escort.”

Celestia smirked “I am her royal escort.” The guard blinked as she looked at the two of us.

Chrysalis frowned (She is interested in my flank, damn it. I could feel the lust there, urghh it tasted horrible.) As they trotted along Chrysalis could see the glares of the nobleponies, she knew she couldn’t blame them after what she had done. A restaurant came into their view, the Golden Egg.

Celestia smiled as she said “Reservation for two, booked 3 days ago by my secretary.”

The stallion operating the booth said “Come this way.” They both took a seat in the restaurant.

Chrysalis asked “Why did you take me out for dinner?”

Celestia replied “I like you, I enjoy your company.”

Chrysalis frowned “You like my flank you mean.” Celestia blinked confused, she continued “I can feel emotions, if I was still part of my hive I would have noticed immediately, being cut from the Hive Mind has dulled my senses.”

Celestia looked down ashamed “I’m sorry.”

Chrysalis smiled “I am not upset but if you jump me tonight I’ll be very upset. If you want to get there then we will have to actually get to know one another.”

Celestia asked “Well then I want to know why you came here, I mean you are Queen aren’t you?”

Chrysalis said “No, I am not 4 of my daughters kicked me out and created 4 new hives out of mine. I had nowhere else to go, let’s just say I barely managed to escape. I was due to be executed the day after I escaped.”

Celestia gasped “That’s horrible.’

Chrysalis frowned “It's no less than I deserve, I screwed up everything. I risked the life of my hive because I was too arrogant. I don’t deserve this.”

Celestia said “You have changed a lot since the wedding.”

Chrysalis said “I realised how much of a fool I was, I wandered for a while before I came here you know, I reflected on my life to keep the silence at bay. I realised I was the fool destroying all I cared about, I was pretty desperate anything was better than being caught.”

Celestia said sadly “I’m sorry you’ve been through all that, nopony deserves that.”

Chrysalis said “Changelings don’t follow the same rules, Queens are held in high regard only if they prove themselves.”

Celestia asked “Maybe we should talk about something else?”

Chrysalis asked “Who is Discord, where did he come from?”

Celestia sighed “He was one of the few surviving Draconequi from the the Final Immortal War, it spelled the end of both Alicorns and the Draconequi, the son of Disturbance and Disruption, he also had a sister named Eris from what he told me. We were childhood friends but as I grew older, I started ignoring him instead devoting myself to magical studies, he didn’t take it well he had rejected his family to live permanently in Equestria and I had thrown it in his face.”

Chrysalis felt a tear drop off her eye “I understand, we are both outcasts.”

Celestia said “I owe it to him to give him a second chance but not yet, Equestria is turmoil. I couldn’t last time he was released because I had no sway over him. Next time I will be ready.”

Chrysalis said “As you keep him away from me I’ll be fine, you now how I am with him.”

Celestia said “I’ll have Pinkie there, he will keep his distance from you as long as she’s there.”

Chrysalis asked “How?”

Celestia laughed “Pinkie has the ability to do weird things.”

Chrysalis asked “What weird things?”

A waiter asked “Excuse me but here’s your complimentary water, are you ready to order?”

Chrysalis smiled “Um yes, I’ll…” She blinked as she saw a blue eye looking at her from in her water. She would never forget what happened next, she screamed as her daughter jumped out of the glass and hovered above them.

Pinkie scowled “Celestia, I thought I could trust you with my mother, she was supposed to stay in the castle.”

Celestia smiled “Um, I did say she could leave with a Royal Escort.”

Pinkie eyes widened before she screamed “Are you kidding Celestia, in Discord’s chaotic name why, you know the nobility around here. They will find any excuse to make a stir and you have given them one on a silver platter, oh Celestia is being mind controlled, ah the changelings are secretly trying to take over Equestria. There are enough of rumours around without you two being here. I have a council meeting to arrange and this may have just made everything worse!”

The restaurant was quiet, Celestia and Chrysalis made their orders and quietly ate much to relief of the other. One after paying for the male, the pair left quietly. Celestia spoke first “This was a really bad idea, have I become so complacent in my old age.”

Chrysalis smirked “You don’t look a day over 1000.”

Celestia smiled “Thanks Chrysalis but I screwed up today, tomorrow there will be a backlash to this.”

Chrysalis sighed “I know, well let’s go back and get some sleep tomorrow is going to be a big day.” The pair entered the bedroom.

Celestia asked “Do you want some fine wine?”

Chrysalis said “Only 1 glass, I don’t want to get drunk.” Celestia smirked as he poured Chrysalis some wine.

The next morning, Chrysalis woke up with a splitting headache. She looked around only to see a messy bed, she knew what the smell was. Celestia woke up to see Chrysalis glaring at her roared“How dare you, you did exactly what I told you not to do. I was willing to go slow with you since you liked my flank but no you had to get me drunk, wait…” Chrysalis smelt the drink and her eyes widened, she roared even louder “You drugged me, you filthy bitch and to think I thought we could be friends and worse yet lovers.”

Celestia cried “I’m sorry, it’s just it’s been 1000 years since I’ve had a partner and you are so pretty, I let my lust take control, I’m sorry.”

Chrysalis scowled “I may forgive you one day but any hopes for you and me are over!” Chrysalis stormed out leaving Celestia crying in her bed.

Chrysalis stomped past, Luna asked Chrysalis “Where is my sister?”

Chrysalis scowled “I don’t care after she drugged me and raped me while I was sleeping.” Luna frowned as Chrysalis stormed off as she could feel the honesty in her emotions, Chrysalis entered the room she was supposed to sleep in. She scowled even more as she realised the fact she slept in Celestia’s bed for a week, she then burst into tears (I trusted her and she betrayed me.)

She heard a pop and turned around still crying to see the blurred linage of Pinkie through her tears, Pinkie nuzzled her, she said with a warm smile “I’m sorry about Celestia, Luna is giving her a talking to right now.” Chrysalis continued to cry on her daughter’s chitin.

*********Meanwhile********

Luna had her sister’s room. She saw her sister lying on her bed crying, Luna asked coldly “Tell me the truth what did you do, because Chrysalis and she told what you did but I need to know is it true? Celestia nodded through her tears.

Luna scowled “I can’t believe you let her out of the castle but then you hurt her somehow, I thought you were hurting others first Discord than me and now Chrysalis, Did you somehow also scorn Sombra at some point because at this point I wouldn’t be surprised.”

Celestia said as she tried to stop crying “I’m sorry Luna, I ruined everything.”

Luna sighed “Celestia, you need to clean up your act. How did Equestria last 1000 years under your rule.”

Celestia responded “I wore a mask and never got close to anypony until I couldn’t bare anymore, that is when I took my first student.”

Luna asked “Who was she?”

Celestia said “Sunset Shimmer, I told her she would one day become like me an….”

Luna scowled “You told you would make an Alicorn, I can’t believe you.” Luna began to trot out of the room.

Celestia asked “Can you please stay with me?”

Luna said “I’ll join you tonight, I can’t stay. I have to prepare the meeting room for the Changeling Council.”
