Pinkie and her friends were in the throne room, she glanced at Rarity and Rainbow Dash. Rainbow had her wing draped over Rarity’s back as Rarity leaned on her, Pinkie thought (I have throw a party for them later).

Celestia and Luna said “The Crystal Empire has returned, Cadence and Shining Armour have already arrived I would like to send you 6 to frozen north to join them. It is perilous…”

Pinkie squealed “The Frozen North, no way I may meet King Cecil, the first Changeling King!”

Twilight frowned “We will do what needs to be done.”

Celestia frowned as well “Me and Twilight need to talk privately.”

Chrysalis entered the room and stood next to Luna, they both said to Pinkie “Be careful and don’t get hurt.”

Pinkie smiled “I’ll stay safe don’t worry.” The group including Twilight after she returned from her meeting with Celestia had gotten onto a train heading north.

The train had to stop due to snow and they had to hoof it, Rarity shivered through her woollen coat “It’s so cold.”

Rainbow took her Woollen coat of and put over her before wrapping a wing around her to keep her close, Rarity gave Rainbow a concerned glance but Rainbow smiled “We Pegasi are much more capable of handling the cold than other ponies as we fly very high up.” That helped ease Rarity’s tension.

Shining Armour approached them in a woolly jacket and wearing goggles. He said “We better get going before he turns up.” They begin to gallop towards the empire only for them to hear a horrifying roar, they turn to see Sombra’s shadowy form as he flew around only for several blasts of light to erupt on the dark king causing him to flee.

Pinkie's eyes widened as King Cecil landed alongside Garland, she shouted “King Cecil” and ran up to him her eyes glittery “Can I have you autograph?” King Cecil was wearing a white suit of armour but with no helmet unlike Garland whose black armour covered his muzzle.

A tall sleek member member of the true changeling race landed, he wore a dragon like suit of blue armour all over his body, his dragon wings sticking out of the back along with his tail, he grinned “Looks like you’ve got an admirer, Cecil.”

Cecil rolls his eyes as he summoned a piece of paper to give to Pinkie “Shut up Kain.”

They then all here a voice laughing, they turn to see a tall true changeling, his white fur poking through his armour in place. “Hahahahahahaha.”

Garland grabs him by his blond spiky mane and slams him into the ground, he then shouted “Biggs, Wedge you were supposed to keep him quiet!”

Biggs and Wedge flew towards them, the two true changelings were wearing armour from head to claw. They apologised “Forgive us General Garland.”

Garland groaned “Never mind, we need to sort this out including getting into the crystal empire.”

Cecil just finished the autograph when Sombra’s roar returned, only for a huge blast of light to slam into him, Cecil frowned “Rosa, I asked you to stay behind.”

The smaller white true changeling brushed her robes “I am not some pretty princess, I am the most powerful mage in our kingdom.”

Then a white dragon appeared and blasted Sombra before a flood struck the shadowy king before freezing him in place for a short time. A green Alicorn with a green mane and tail with a cutie mark of a white dragon landed, then a Draconequus with one dragon claw, one griffon talon, one pony hoof and one reptile leg sticking out of his serpentine body, his pony muzzle covered by a mask his white hair blending in with the snow.

Cecil frowned “Rydia it’s not safe around here.”

Rydia frowned “Dad, I’m not a foal anymore. I’m 1 billion years old.”

All the ponies present gasped at her age having stayed quiet during the altercations between them. Cecil frowned “I’m still 3 billion years your senior.”

Rosa growled “Cecil, stop babying her. I brought her out here to test her skills, she doesn't need us to baby her anymore. She has learned everything we needed to teach her.”

Cecil frowned “Fine!”

Rosa then grinned “If we have any more issues with Rydia you’re going to spend the next billion years on the couch.”

Cecil gasped “You wouldn’t.”

Rosa ignored him as she spoke to Shining Armour “Do you mind if we join you in the Crystal Empire, we would like to discuss some things with you?”

Shining Armour regained himself “If you can keep the discord damned bastard out of here than sure.”

Rosa laughed “I like you already, come on I would like to see how the empires fairing.”

Rosa and Shining headed in the empire’s direction with the rest following, with Twilight and Pinkie barraging Cecil with questions. The Draconequus said “Rydia, um do you want to…”

Rydia frowned “Edge, whatever it is it can wait until we get back.” Edge sighed as he followed the mare who was always oblivious to his feelings.
