Cecil was exhausted as he entered the empire, between the Pink Bugpony Changeling Queen and the Purple Bookhorse he was exhausted, they bombarded him with more questions than he could answer. Shining Armour asked Rydia and Rosa “Where did that friend of yours go?”

Rosa smiled “He’s hiding somewhere honestly even Cecil can’t find him, he could be anywhere he is a master ninja after all.”

Rydia frowned as she shot a ball of fire out of her horn at wall, Edge yelped as he ran away “He is not able to hide from me, chaos energy is very easy for Alicorns to track.”

Shining blinked “Right.”

Twilight begged “Please can you answer some of more of my questions.”

Spike frowned “Can’t you see you are stressing him out, the only luck his had is the fact they Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie got into a race.” He pointed to a small area within the empire where Rainbow and Pinkie were chasing each other with Applejack and Rarity closely watching them, Fluttershy meanwhile was silently trotting behind them.

One of the Crystals Pony’s eyes widened as he saw Cecil “It’s one of the Ghosts of the Snow.” Cecil groaned as so two hundred Crystal ponies surrounded him and Twilight. One poked him in awe “He’s real.”

Cecil shouted “Edge, do something!” They watched as the Ninja Draconequus wrapped himself around Twilight, Cecil as well as the other element bearers and Cecil’s family, and the next moment they were all in the Crystal Empire Castle.

Twilight asked “How did you do that?”

Edge rolled his eyes “I am Draconequus, you know what we are capable of.”

Twilight shuddered “I knew Discord.”

Edge growled “That runt of Draconequus, a total useless coward who cared for none but himself.” Edge angrily disappeared in a puff of smoke, Everypony and everyling save Rydia was looking for where he dissapeared to.

Cecil grimaced “Where is he?”

Shining Armour frowned “Maybe we should meet with my wife first.” They trotted into the throne room.

Cadence smiled “Twilight, you and your friends are here.” She then frowned “You brought guests it seems.”

Cecil bowed “Forgive me, I’m King Cecil leader of the original tribe of Changelings.”

Cadence froze “Are you here to capture me?”

Rosa smiled “No, we don’t eat love, that is what the bugpony changelings you know do.” She then frowned “The Old Alicorn Empire was responsible for those.”

Cecil smiled “I’m here to help.”

Rydia frowned “You seem tired.”

Cadence sighed “I’ve been trying to keep that demon out of here but I am running low on strength.”

Rydia smiled “Let me take over, I can handle it?” Cadence blinked at the larger Alicorn as the emerald green light of her horn created a massive barrier around the city. Cadence nodded as she relaxed and let her magic fade, Rydia frowned as she felt Sombra bump against her shield, she scowled and fired a small wave outward from the shield knocking the dark king away.

Cadence smiled tiredly “Thanks I’m just going to take a nape on this floor it looks really soft.”

Shining Armour shouted as he galloped over to his wife “Cadence!”

Cecil walked over and place a claw on her head, he smiled “She’s fine, just sleep deprived. You take care of her, me, Rydia and Twilight will go and find a way to keep that bastard out for good, my wife will go and keep Twilight’s friends company.”

Rosa smiled “I would like to see the Empire.” See then turned to her husband and scowled “Cecil, don’t give me orders ever.” Cecil gulped and nodded, Rosa smiled as she followed Twilight’s friends out the door.

Shining Armour hefted his wife onto his back and trotted out of the room. Rydia, Cecil and Twilight headed to the Crystal Library outside the castle. Twilight frowned “Is your friend following us?”

Rydia frowned “Yes he is in your shadow right now actually.” Twilight panicked, Rydia giggled “Not really, in Draconis’s name that was funny.”

Twilight raised an eyebrow “Who’s Draconis?”

Rydia frowned “The First King of Dragons, he is also Cecil’s father. Alicorns killed him under the guise of peace.”

Twilight gasped “Luna and Celestia would never do such a thing!”

Rydia frowned “It was during the time of the Alicorn Empire which ended where those two were foals, Celestia and Luna’s great grandparents weren’t even a sparkle in their parents eyes when it happened.”

Twilight breathed deeply in relief, “I was worried.”

Rydia smiled “I know, they are lucky to have such a caring mare and smart mare.” Twilight blushed, Rydia said “Since I know you are quite the curious pony, I’ll tell you why the old race of Changelings were often referred to as the Ghosts of the Snow.”

Twilight grinned eagerly “Why?”

Rydia rolled her eyes at the purple unicorn “Many crystal ponies went searching for resources through the icy wastes as the empire wasn’t exactly rich in metals, sometimes the odd pony would be left stranded. Cecil and his best troops returned then to the city grounds in a flash of white thus the nickname. They recognised my father because of his white scales.”

Cecil said “We're at the Library.” The two mares nodded as they followed him into the Library.

So yeah Cecil gets a barrage of Questions from those Pinkie and Twilight before Pinkie got bored of no answers and raced RD instead.
