Pinkie was watching as many of Chrysalis’s changelings were pulling ponies out of pods. Chrysalis had just pulled Celestia out from her pod. Celestia snarled “Why are you letting us out?”

Chrysalis replied “I broke the changeling code by invading here, I am doing my best to minimise the damage.” Celestia blinked confused at Chrysalis words, 2 hours passed and Chrysalis’s changelings had finished the job. Chrysalis said to Pinkie “We have completed the task.”

Pinkie responded coldly “Then leave before I change my mind about sparing you.” Chrysalis nodded and all her changelings flew out of the castle.

Celestia galloped over to Pinkie and asked angrily “Pinkie you know more than you are letting on. What are you hiding?”

Pinkie said calmly “I will tell you after the wedding. Cadence will not be very receptive to what I me and Luna have to say.”

Celestia glared at Luna as if she had committed treason, Luna said “Trust me, dear sister, we will explain when the time is right.”

Pinkie smiled as the wedding preparations were restarted for the real wedding. Pinkie set up her copy of the Pony Pokey after the other one disappeared during all the commotion. Pinkie knew her mother is going to be in trouble, the Changeling Queen’s Council will not show mercy for something like this. Pinkie sighed as she started setting up the party food she had left over, she loved her mother despite all she had done and was worried what would happen.

Luna came over and put a wing over her. She said “All will be fine Pinkie, Celestia will accept us.”

Pinkie said “I’m worried about my mother.”

Luna said “I understand, from what you’ve told me you two were very close.”

Pinkie said “Yeah, I’m worried she will get herself done in by the council. She has gotten away with a lot due to her high status with the council but they can’t excuse this, she broke the 2 two highest codes. Our code of secrecy and our code that forbids us attack each other’s territory.”

Luna asked “Why can’t you attack another’s territory?’

Pinkie said sadly “Your mother’s death triggered it, her heir put the rule forth it to the council and they all agreed aside from my mother.”

Luna said “I see, I’m sorry for the problems this has caused.”

Pinkie said “Don’t worry about it, my mother made her choice and we both have to live with the consequences.” Pinkie smiled as Luna returned to her duties. Pinkie finished setting up the party supplies and went to get her dress which Rarity was busy repairing.

I entered the room to see Rarity smiling. She said “Perfect timing Pinkie, I finally finished repairing the dress, you really did a number on it.”

Pinkie said “Thanks Rarity, although I have a feeling I won’t need that dress after the wedding.”

Rarity asked confused “Why not?”

Pinkie replied “I’ll tell you later, it will make more sense although you will need to make me plenty of dresses anyway so I hope that will be good compensation.”

Rarity squealed “I can’t wait, I should start now it will only take me a few minutes to get your measurements.”

Pinkie replied quickly “Rarity any measurements you take now will mean little. When I’m ready you can take my measurements.” Pinkie left as Rarity stared after the pink mare, she was confused by Pinkie’s serious demeanour, it had bothered her for some time but with all that’s happened maybe it’s just stress.

Pinkie got into her dress and headed to the Wedding Hall for the real wedding. Pinkie smiled as she watched the wedding go past, her mind was racing with the thought of her hive being ousted from her home. She was partially glad this was about to be over but another part was really nervous. She watched as the happy bride and groom left, she sighed knowing the moment of truth was coming.

She walked up nervously to Celestia said “Celestia, it’s time to learn the truth.”

Celestia said “Good.”

Pinkie said to her friends “I would like to tell you all as well.”

Twilight said “Alright Pinkie this sounds quite serious, we better come with.”

Applejack agreed “Yeah but Ah hope this isn’t some silly prank.”

Rarity said “You have been acting weird lately, I would like an explanation.”

Rainbow Dash added “Yeah, you’ve been acting too serious.”

Pinkie responded “All will be revealed in due time.”

Pinkie and her friends followed Celestia into the room, Pinkie right next to Luna and said “First, we should soundproof the room.”

Luna said “That would be wise.” Luna cast a soundproofing spell over the entire room.”

Pinkie said “You will need to see this before we continue.” Pinkie nodded at Luna and they both changed into their true forms much to the shock of everypony in the room.

Celestia snarled “You are a changeling and you have done something to my sister.”

Luna roared “Sister, Pinkie had shown me who I really am. My real mother, Queen Alura struck a deal with our father to secure peace between our 2 races. Chrysalis killed my mother and I have been kept in the dark about most of it. I knew my mother’s name and that I could change into a monstrous form but that’s it, this is the real me.”

Celestia shouted “That can’t be true, that is a lie. You are lying to me.”

Pinkie said “Celestia, I am being honest with you. I have been raised a pony, my mother has had very little input other than teaching me how to disguise myself. Also if I wanted Canterlot I could have taken it, my Hive numbers at 1 million changelings as of this moment, I want peace.

Applejack said “They are telling the truth, I can feel it.”

Celestia stared at Applejack before turning to Pinkie and asked calmly “What is it that you want?”

Pinkie said “I want to inform everypony about our existence, keeping us secret will make others suspicious after this incident.”

Twilight said “Pinkie you have been keeping quite a big secret you know.”

Rainbow Dash flew up to her face and asked angrily “Yeah, why didn’t you tell us?!”

Rarity scolded “That is no way to treat royalty, she is a queen.”

Rainbow Dash said “But she is a bug.”

Fluttershy said sternly “Rainbow Danger Dash, come here now.” Rainbow flew in front of her. Fluttershy said angrily “I remember a Pink creature saved me from Nightmare Moon” she then turned to Pinkie Pie “that was you wasn’t it, you were the one who saved me that night.”

Pinkie said as tears flowed down her face “Yes it was, my mother didn’t want me to do it but I had to, you are my friends. I wouldn't let any of you die. If I acted sooner I could have saved your eye, I’m so sorry.”

Fluttershy walked over and said “You saved my life, you risked so much just to save me. I am glad to call you friend.”

Pinkie smiled slightly as she said “Thanks I needed that.”

Celestia said “I have to organise everything, I don’t like this but I have to put my personal feelings aside for peace. Is there anything else I need to know?”

Pinkie was about respond when a message arrived in her mind “The council has been informed of your decision and have accepted it due to the circumstances. The other things is due to these events we will be holding another Queen’s Council Meeting, it will be at your hive in a month’s time.”

Pinkie said “Yes actually I just got a message that my Hive will be hosting a Changeling Queens Council meeting, this means we need to inform the populace as well.”

Celestia asked concerned “Why?”

Pinkie replied “Every changeling hive has to bring half their hive with them. This means we will be seeing one Changeling Carrier and 2 Changeling Destroyers, they differ per hive in many ways but generally hold thirty to forty thousand changelings and are covered in heavy mounted cannons.”

Celestia sighed as she said “Great, this couldn't get any worse.”

Pinkie said “First, don’t tempt fate and secondly if Cadence was here, we would have much bigger issues.”

Celestia said “I’ll get the meeting organised, Pinkie and my dearest sister you two have a lot of work ahead of you.”

Pinkie sighed “Great, this is just fantastic, we have to convince the Canterlot Nobility about our good intent.”

Twilight said “We'll be right beside you two, right girls.”

Rarity said “Of course darling what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t.”

Rainbow Dash boasted “Pinkie, I bet I can beat you in a race.”

Applejack said “Sugarcube, don't worry Ah’m with ya.”

Fluttershy said “How could I not help a friend who saved my life with something like this.”

Luna said “Well, let’s begin preparations.”

Pinkie said “Right let’s go.”
