The beginning.View OnlineThe Pony of ChaosThe beginning.“*sigh* Another shitty day, another shitty night, I just hope my teachers don't give me a fuck ton of homework.” I say as I got out of bed. Standing up at my full height of 6 ft 4 in, I barely scraped my head against my undersized dorm room. I was 20 years old living on campus of the college I was going to. My roommate got to sleep in cause he didn't have any classes until later while I had mine all day today. What made this so bad was I had a screwed up internal clock and usually slept to 10 am and went to bed at 1 in the morning, even during my childhood. I always had to take prescription pills every day and night so it would remain normal, but I have recently ran out and now need to go get more at the pharmacy. “Greeeeat just my fucking luck.” When I looked out the window it was raining, and not just any rain, it was raining with the force equivalent to getting shot with a garden hose at point blank on the Jet setting. I packed up the stuff I would need for today’s classes, made lunch, got dressed in black khaki pants because I Hated jeans, my shirt was grey with a black dragon that was glowing dark purple and spitting out purple flames. ‘This has got to be my most badass shirt I have gotten.’ I quickly ate breakfast and grabbed my raincoat and umbrella along with my fencing suit and sword. Stepping outside the wind was really bad and I could barely see without getting an eye full of rain water, even with the umbrella. Luckily I am always prepared, I reached into my pocket pulling out a pair of swimming goggles. Putting them on I could now see but the water still pounded on the plastic. I trudged forward though the rain until I came across the front doors to the college. Quickly getting inside I shook off the water on my raincoat and umbrella on the rug where everyone wipes their feet. I got into my first class and saw that it was empty, even the teacher wasn't there yet. ‘Well shit I'm too early oh well at least I can stay here cause I am not going back out there until I have to go to my job.’ I went to the desk in the back and played games on my phone. I was surprised to see that even after 3 hours passed on one was here. ‘Well shit I must of missed the message to where we didn't have classes today because of weather.’ I decided I might be able to get some overtime hours at my job so that just means more money for me. Packing up I left the college and ran to my car. A nice black mustang that had 2 white stripes down the middle. I start my car and drive to work. 45 minutes later I'm at work. It was a small grocery store that sold everyday items. Getting out of my car and dashing inside I put my raincoat and umbrella in the break room. I put on my uniform over my normal clothes. I worked until it was around 7pm then went back to my dorm but on my way to my car a gust of wind pulls my umbrella out of my grip. Not thinking, I run after it. I finally caught it but then a bright light from my right makes me turn to see an eighteen wheeler coming right at me! I'm caught like a deer in headlights and the eighteen wheeler makes impact making me fly through the air. I just close my eyes and await my death… But nothing happened, well, not nothing. Opening an eye I see I'm in some sort of portal or some jizz like that, turning so I can see ahead of me, I see the end approaching rapidly. I shield my face and when I go through and I land on something hard. Opening an eye I find myself in an old castle that's on it's last legs and can come crashing down at any second. I tried to stand but my center of balance must have taken the day off today because I fell on my ass. Looking down I saw the source of the problem. I did not have arms and legs, instead, I had forelegs and back legs and instead of feet I had hoofs. I didn't freak out but instead I was curious about this body. I knew it was equine but I knew I was smaller than even the average pony. Another thing was my colors. Instead of my slightly tanned skin color, it was completely black and instead of my dark chocolate brown hair it was gray but the ends turned red along with my new tail. I tried to stand on four legs and it was a complete success. I tried to walk the same way I saw horses did when I was younger and while it took a bit of time, I eventually was able to walk. Walking over to a dirty broken window I saw my reflection and I also had a horn indicating I was a unicorn. I also had my black and grey jacket that had my phone and earbuds with it. I knew I needed three things: Food, water and shelter. Making my first goal to get out of the castle, I walk out of this maze of a castle. I saw a bridge and thought. 'Bridges leads to a path and paths mean civilization.' So going across the bridge my knowledge proved true. So I followed the path. 30 minutes later I came out of the forest and there was still some dirt path to follow so that is what I did. Another half hour later I came across a small town filled with multi colored ponies. Some were unicorns, some were pegasi, and then there were regular ponies. Walking into town I was greeted with a pink pony gasping and running off somewhere. ‘Ok if everyone here will do that I will quickly get pissed.’ Walking into what seemed like the market I smelled something delicious that made my stomach growl. Following the smell I came across a stall with an orange mare with a golden blond mane and tail both in a ponytail style. She also had a brown stetson hat. Walking up my mouth began to water slightly at the sight before me. Apple. Apple treats everywhere. And they all looked incredibly good. “Well hello there partner lookin for somethin ta eat? Well I have plenty of fresh apple products straight from Sweet Apple Acres.” I looked up at the mare. She had green eyes and white freckles that made her look kinda cute. “Say, I never seen ya here before partner. Are you new to Ponyville?” I nodded. “Don't talk much do ya?” I shook my head in a no. “Kinda like my brother. Well my name's Applejack what’s yours?” ‘Shit I never thought I needed to change my name I have to keep my human identity a secret, else they get suspicious.’ I quickly came up with a name I used when I was a child. “My name is Starmaster, nice to meet you Applejack.” I held out my hoof to shake hers. “Starmaster huh? Nice name, well since you're new to Ponyville, pick anything you like. On the house.” I was surprised that she would offer up something like that as if it was nothing but I know running a farm takes a lot of money to keep it up and running so I said. “Thanks, but no thanks, you probably need the money for your farm and I know it costs a lot to run a farm. I used to work on one with my… Dad.” I said that name with so much venom it could have poisoned Applejack. "Shoot sugarcube, it sounds like you hate your Pa.” “Hate doesn't even begin to describe it.” She winced at my cold tone towards my own father. “I'll leave you to it, goodbye Applejack, may we see each other again soon.” I left without hearing her saying goodbye. I kept walking until I came across a park. Sitting down at one of the benches, I put on my earbuds which was quite difficult using my hoofs. Turning on my phone I saw that it was at 100% and was still charging. Shrugging it off for later, I had more difficulty turning on my music but once I did I closed my eyes and let my body drift into the sweet embrace that was music and sleep. The night.View OnlineThe Pony of ChaosThe night.I woke up hearing someone scream. “WATCH OUT!!!” Looking behind me I saw a rainbow blur about to hit the tree near me. Jumping off the bench I grabbed onto the rainbow blur and hugged it to my chest letting my back hit the tree instead. Catching my breath I looked down to see a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. Her magenta eyes looking up at me a small blush on her cheeks. “You okay?” I asked. She shakes her head to clear it and says. “Y- Yeah th- thanks for umm taking the hit umm what's your name?” ‘Omg she adorable with that blush and stuttering.’ “My name is Starmaster and what's yours?” She jumps up and does a few tight loops in the air. “My name is Rainbow Dash the fastest pegasus in Ponyville.” ‘Annnd she has a huge ass ego of course.’ I look around and realize its getting dark. “Well it was nice to meet you. Oh do you know anything about a gasping pink pony?” “You mean Pinkie Pie? Ohh you must be new in town ya she's gonna probably gonna throw you a ‘Welcome to Ponyville’ party later but don’t worry I'll show you where it's at.” “Thanks Rainbow I appreciate this.” “Its no problem. Hey! Want to meet the rest of my friends?” “Umm sure?” “Sweet let's go!” And she takes off leaving me standing there. Five seconds later she's back and blushing from embarrassment. “Umm hehe forgot you weren't a pegasus.” she said sheepishly. “It's Ok I'm used to being forgotten.” I said as I walked pass her and I could feel her mood sadden. “Wait what do you mean by that?” She said walking up to my side. “I don't like to talk about it so who are we seeing first?” She seemed worried about me but reluctantly said. “Well we could go visit Twilight first she should be at the library.” “Library? Why would we go visit her there?” “Well she lives there and after her we can go visit Rarity and after we go visit her it should be time for your party.” “Hey Dash I have a question.” “Ok shoot.” “Why is everyone I met so far so nice to me I mean I appreciate it but throwing a party, offering free food. And just because i'm new in town… I don't deserve this Rainbow. I just don't and you know what when yeah get to the party tell them that ok? Goodbye Rainbow Dash it's been fun hanging with you.” With that I ran in a different direction ignoring her shouting out for me to stop but I was already out of sight. I kept running until my lungs hurt and I found myself on a cliff overlooking a grass plain. I sat there and looked at the moon which was extremely large here but that only made it more beautiful. I looked over the vast grassy plains when I decided I needed some music to go with this. I pulled out my phone and played a song I practically knew by heart so I singed along. https://youtu.be/T6uiijYqXnI When I was done I stood and stretched. I let another song play while I checked the time on my phone which read 9:37 so I had a bit of time before fatigue caught up to me. Looking around I saw a lone tree not to far from where I was so I decided to go hit it just to let some anger out. I walked over to the tree and once I was under it and saw it had no nests or anything else I knew it was ok to let my frustrations out on the poor tree. Looking at the bottom of my new forehoof I stood on my hind legs and let my other forehoof rest on the tree keeping me upright. Looking at the tree I let it have it. And let it have it I did. Around 10 minutes later I stopped and saw that a very noticeable dent was now in the tree. “Holy shit I was never able to that before.” I said more to myself. Looking back at my hind legs I thought what I could do with those. And since I have basic knowledge on equines I knew the buck or kick of one could kill someone if hit in the proper place. Wanting to test my theory I turned around and lined myself up for one hell of a kick. Rearing on my front legs was the first problem I encountered. I had the balance of a elephant on a smooth ball that could barely hold more than one of their giant… whatever they have on the bottom of their legs. So with that I fell forward and landed flat on my face… muzzle? Still need to work on that. Getting up I didn't hear the giggling from a few bushes away because of my music. “Well that ended as about as great as I hoped.” I said in a sarcastic tone. Lining myself up again I made my back hoofs go into the air but land on the tree not bucking it though. I let myself stay until I felt more comfortable with the position. “Okay step one is down now for the actual buck.” I said to myself. Going back to my where my front hoofs were the only thing on the ground I tucked in my legs and let the tree get a facefull of my back legs. I kept doing that for awhile until I was out of breath. Looking back at the tree it was almost cut in half by now. “Well… Shit… didn't… expect... that.” I said in between a few pants. Looking at the time on my phone it was now 10:14. Going back to the spot on top of the hill I replayed the events of today in my mind. The storm… The truck… The portal… Me becoming a pony… All the other ponies in town… That was when I lost it and I collapsed on my stomach just crying and letting all my emotions run free with my tears. “Why… Just why… WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS!!?” Letting out a few more choked sobs I just yelled into the night screaming my pain and frustration away. My music cut off when the playlist finished so I was able to hear the sound of soft clops behind me. Spinning around I saw Applejack there with a look of sadness on her face. “Oh hey there Applejack what are you doing all the way out here?” I said relaxing a little when I saw who it was. “Well when Rainbow came into the library and told us what happened we came out here ta look for ya sugarcube cause we were worried about ya.” When she finished I nodded but stayed silent for a little contemplating what to say next. “Hmph Well you found me now what are you going to do? The party sounds like it's was over before it even began since it was supposed to be for me.” I chuckled a little at that. But she did not take my attempt at humour as funny. “That ain't funny partner ya hurt a lot of pony’s feelins by runnin like that.” “Feeling? Why should I care about feelings? Where have they ever gotten any… pony?” I said bitterness in my tone. “What's your problem! Ya act like the world is out to get ya.” Applejack clearly mad at what I said. “Well maybe it is! My life has been a complete hell you know that!? I have been through shit that has given me nightmares without end! None of you know the shit I've been through! None of you would survive a single day in my childhood! So why don't you go back to your happy little fantasy land where everything is just perfect!” I yelled at her through the entire time I was talking and she cowered more and more through the entire thing. “N-Now j-just on-one min-minute th-there partner our life ain't a-all that perfect we all have our rough days but I don't think your foalhood could be that bad.” She tried to show sympathy for me but was still slightly scared from earlier and my size. “Not that bad!? NOT THAT BAD!? You have no idea what I've been through you would be scarred for life if you know what I've been through! Besides I don't deserve your hospitality.” I yelled at her again except for the the last part. “Listen partner we aren't here ta hurt ya just please come back so we can at least talk and you have somewhere ta sleep tonight.” She said with a little hope in her voice. “*sigh* Fine but when I want to leave I'm leaving right then and there got it?” “Well if that's the best I can get from ya then yes now come on I hate ta be out here in the dark.” “Why do you hate the dark? Are you scared? If so you're weak. And it won't be you fearing the dark more like you fear what the darkness hides within it and that means you are afraid of your own imagination. But there are real terrors out there you just have to know what they are.” “Th-… That actually kinda makes sense thank you Star.” She said while nuzzling my neck which caused me to pull away. “What the hell was that AJ!? Why did you just rub yourself on my neck?” I said thinking that she just molested the fuck out of my neck. “I was givin ya a slight nuzzle. Don't ya know what a nuzzle is?” “I know what a nuzzle is but why?” “I- I- I-” She stuttered a blush quickly forming along with an idea in my head. “Wow I never imagined you liked me like that Applejack.” I said as loud as I could without yelling. This caused her blush to spread and become a darker shade of red. “W- What in tarnation are you t- talkin about!” When she said that I saw the perfect opportunity. “Oh you know what I'm talking about Applejack but we just met and you already want to do that! I'm flattered but I think we should wait awhile before we do that that.” This made her become even more red and flustered. “Pfft hahahaha. I sorry AJ but I just couldn't resist making you all flustered like that.” Now she was mad but still flustered. “I'm gonna get ya back for this one day Star.” “Ha good luck with th- ooff!” I was stopped when I walked into something made of wood. Looking up I saw that I had walked into a tree about 20 feet in diameter maybe more. I looked at Applejack and she was holding a hoof in front of her muzzle to stop herself from laughing. When she calmed down she said. “Well this is the place, Golden Oaks Library.” “Golden Oaks Library is a tree? Wow you guys know how to make hidden puns.” She giggled a little at that. “I don't know what you are talking about sugarcube.” She said honestly. “Really? Think long and hard on the name. Golden Oaks Library. Golden Oaks. Oak trees ring a bell?” It was when I said Oak tree that she finally understood and she started chuckling a bit at the name. “Well what do ya know you're right. Anywho now that we're here let's get inside it's startin ta get chilly out here.” “Meh I'm fi- Applejack what are you doing?” The mare in question now had her side pressed against me. “Well you said you were fine so I thought you must have been warm and you are. Why do feel uncomfortable with this?” “...I'll let this slide once but thats it.” We soon came upon the front entrance and Applejack separated from me to knock on the door which opened up to a very tired purple and green bipedal reptile. “Oh hey *yaaawwwn* Applejack did you find him?” Said the reptile. “Yeah I did Spike now head off ta bed you look more tired than Granny Smith.” ‘I swear these puns are gonna be the end of me’ “Thanks *yaaaawwwwn* Applejack.” Spike went back inside with us in tow. Once inside I saw that the place was very clean. “Hmm nice place. Probably one of the top ten buildings I've been in.” “This home ain't Applejack’s it's mine.” A voice from a couch said still surprising the fuck out of me and making me jump a little. “And who are you exactly?” I asked the pony who has yet to reveal herself. The pony had gotten up off the couch a bit sluggishly. Realizing that he was off his medication he has yet to become tired. Looking over at Applejack she wasn't fairing much better now that he realised it. “My name is *yaaawwwn* Twilight Sparkle and this is my home and thank you for the *yaaawwwn* compliment.” She said her eyes drooping. “Okay you girls are tired you get to bed we'll talk in the morning. And no buts! Except yours going to bed now get.” I said shooing them to bed. “But what *yaaaawwwn* about you aren't you tired sugarcube?” “Sleep now explanation later. Now shoo. Don't make me pick you up and carry you.” “Okay goodnight sugar-...zzz” Applejack tried to say but fell asleep talking. “*sigh* Hey purple pony where's the guest- oh come on!” I looked at the purple unicorn and saw she to has fallen asleep face first on the floor. I sighed and picked her and flopped her on my back as well as Applejack. Walking upstairs I saw what I assumed was the purple ponies bed. So I layer her there. Going down a hall I found a guest bedroom for Applejack so I put her on the bed and slid her under the covers. Going back out I did the same with the purple pony. Going down stairs I picked a book off the many shelfs in there. It was a leather bound book but the front had a gold unicorn head on it. Laying on the couch which had some room left even with me laying down I opened the book and began to read. After what felt like hours I begun to feel tired so I closed the book and put it back where I found it getting back on the couch I put in my ear buds and fell asleep listening to music Author's Note Well this is the second chapter so I hope you all enjoy it and any critisim is greatly appreciated to me. Turning around I was met with a… hodge podge of animals all wrapped into one. “Who the fuck are you?” I asked. “I am Discord Spirit of Chaos and who are you my young fellow?” Said ‘Discord'. “My name is Starmaster. Now-” But I was cut off when he said. “No no no your actual name the one you used before coming here.” ‘How the fuck does he know about that!?’ “It's… Shane. How did you know I'm not from this planet and why do you want to know?” “Oh I just want to know the one I'm giving my Chaos Magic to before I how do you say? ‘Die’.” “Dieing!? Chaos Magic!? What the fuck are you talking about!?” I yelled at him. “*sigh* You see I have grown bored and decided I want to move on to the next life.” “Next life?” “Yes you see my young lad I am a Spirit I have no physical form the only thing keeping me together is my Magic but even now it is failing me so I decided to give somepony my magic but all the ponies here are way too peaceful and harmonic so I needed somepony with a different mindset. “And you just so happen to be the lucky fellow to have that mindset. So do you accept to be taught under me in the ways of Chaos Magic?” Discord offered putting out a claw for me to shake. “Hmm What would happen if I don't except?” I asked curious. “Well my Chaos Magic would leak out over the land slowly corrupting it and turning everything Chaotic even the ponies would become Chaotic but they would not be able to control themselves and even start killing each other like savage animals.” Hearing that I knew I had a big decision to make, no huge decision. “Okay what's the catch? I know that something bad will happen to me.” “The only bad thing would be you would become immortal. But the Good things are is you would gain all my knowledge and Magic but my magic will most likely battle against your current magic so I will slowly put my magic into you.” He put his claw back out for me to shake. “So do we have a deal?” “...Okay but I will have total control over it right?” “Yes you will have complete control over my Magic.” When he said that I put my hoof in his claw and my mind was filled to the brim with new knowledge that made my head hurt. “Well you should be waking up soon it was nice meeting you Shane Goodbyyee…” He said fading out of existence. Shooting up on the couch my head still trying to cope with all the knowledge did not agree and I got a splitting headache. “Finally your awake do you know how late you've slept in?” Came the purple pony's voice. “Uuugggghhh. Can ya quiet down a little I have a huge headache and you talking so loud ain't helping.” I said groaning in pain holding my head trying to massage the pain away. “Oh umm sorry would you like some water?” “Nah I'll be fine just gotta wait it out even if it hurts like a bitch.” “Can you please not use that kind of language in my library.” “Fine I will as long as you keep it down.” “Thank you.” “So what's your name?” I asked Twilight. ‘Discord gave me that knowledge.’ ‘Hey you're not supposed to be talking to the readers even if it is through thoughts.’ ‘What the hell! Who is that?’ ‘Look we'll talk about this later right now pay attention to Twilight.’ “...My name is Twilight Sparkle so what's your name?” “Uhh my name is Starmaster. Nice to meet you Twilight. Hey wait what time is it?” “It's about 2 hours before midday why?” “Da- sorry. You see my internal clock is very off. So with me I sleep till almost midday then fall asleep around midnight.” “Oh umm I'm sorry for that.” “Nah don't be I had medicine to help me with it but now I've run out.” “Well my friends should be here soon and umm thanks.” She said blushing slightly. “Umm for what?” I asked genuinely confused. “For carrying me to bed last night but you could have been a bit gentler when putting me on your back.” “Oh umm sorry about that so when should your friends be here?” Just then the door opened to show 5 more ponies 2 of them I know 1 of them I recognize and the last 2 I never saw before but there names were already coming to me. There was Applejack and Rainbow Dash the ones I have already met. Pinkie Pie the pink pony that gasped at me yesterday then there was Fluttershy and Rarity the ones I have yet to meet personally. When Rainbow saw me she flew right up into my face. “Hey what's the big deal with you running away last night?” “Sorry but I didn't want a party.” “What!? You don't like parties!?” Pinkie appeared on top of me getting right in my face and yelling. Which did nothing to help my headache. “Aaggh! Shut the buck up! Will you?” “Language!” “Hey you can't talk to Pinkie like that.” “Why ya yellin at Pinkie like that.” ~Meanwhile in Canterlot~ ~1sr person Celestia~ ‘Another beautiful day another annoying noble complaining about something stupid.’ I thought as a noble was whining about something I didn't care about. ‘I wish something exciting would happen.’ Just then somepony used the Royal Canterlot Voice and yelled. “WILL YOU ALL SHUT THE BUCK UP!!! I HAVE A BUCKING HEADACHE AND NONE OF YOU ARE BUCKING HELPING! SO SHUT THE BUCK UP!” Was what he said causing the noble to hold his ears and Luna to wake up. ‘Sister what was that!’ Luna said through our telepathic link. ‘I do not know but it came from Ponyville.’ ‘Do you think something's gone wrong?’ ‘I'm not sure hold on.’ “Guards prepare a chariot for Ponyville. The rest of Day Court is over until I return.” ‘We shall go to Ponyville to make sure everypony's all right. I am having a Chariot prepared as we speak.’ ‘Very well Sister we shall see you there.’ ~Back at Ponyville~ ~1st person Starmaster~ They sat there stunned when I used the Royal Canterlot Voice on them. ‘Another perk from Discord.’ ‘Hey what did I say?' ‘I don't care right now!’ I was huffing from anger not caring about the consequences right now. “Now will you all be quiet?” They nodded. “Will anypony interrupt me while I'm talking?” They all pointed at Pinkie, Twilight, and Rainbow. Which made them adorn annoyed glares at the others. “Alright will you get off my head please.” Pinkie jumped off and walked to the others. “*Sigh* Look I know you may not like me or know me right now but you must know that I'm only like this because I woke up to a headache and a very loud Twilight.” That made her get a sheepish smile. “Okay how about this I ask a question then one of you of my choice will ask a question, okay?” They nodded. “Good now what are your names.” “Ya already met me and Rainbow.” Applejack said. “My name is Rarity darling and it is a pleasure to meet you even though you use quite vulgar language.” “I'm Pinkie Pie nice to meet you.” Pinkie actually said that quietly. “I- I'm Fluttershy.” “Well nice to meet you all now Twilight you may ask 1 question.” “Where do you come from?” “I lived in the city of Baltimare until I was 18 then I went to college in Manehatten for 2 years. Next question goes to Rainbow Dash.” “Do you have a marefriend?” “No and I am not looking for a relationship.” That saddened her, Applejack, and Twilight. “Okay next Fluttershy.” “Oh um do you like animals?” “As a matter of fact I do like some animals but dogs are my favorite.” This opened her up a little from her shy shell. “Next is Rarity.” “Wherever did you get that horrendous jacket?” “Do not ever say that again this jacket was a gift from my brother so you better not try to change it at all or else you will face my wrath. Next question goes to Pinkie.” “Do you like cake?” “Hmm depends on what type it is but if it is vanilla then yes that is my favorite but if I eat too much in a single sitting it will give me a massive stomach ache so I limit myself to one piece. Last question Applejack.” “Why do ya hate your Pa so much? When ya said it at the market place ya sounded like ya hated him with everything ya can.” “I… Rather not say. Ask a different question.” “Fine. Hmm why did ya come to Ponyville?” “Well after living in two different big cities you kinda want to take it slow so I decided after college I would move to the countryside. The PrincessesView OnlineThe Pony of ChaosThe PrincessesI wake up on a soft bed with something wet on my head. I sit up groggily and watch as a wet piece of cloth falls onto my muzzle. I shake it off and see that I'm still in the library in Twilight's bed. I can hear voices coming from the main room downstairs. I push the blankets off and roll off the bed onto my hooves. My hooves hit the floor with a dull thud. The voices stop. I hear some creaking of wood from someone coming up the stairs. The door opens to reveal Twilight and Spike. “Hey guys, what happened? Last thing I remember is suggesting we go get something to eat.” I say calmly. It was true. After I suggested we get something to eat, I don't remember anything. She seems to relax a little from her tensed up stance. “Oh, you tripped and banged your head on the floor.” Twilight said with a nervous smile. “Really? Dang it, that's the seventh time that has happened to me. I swear one day I'm gonna get some significant brain damage.” I say as I rub the tender spot on my head. “Is everyone still here? I heard voices down stairs.” I say as I walk over to her. She backs up a bit with… Was that fear in her eyes? “Twi? What's wrong? I know I'm not the best thing to look at but I'm not that bad looking am I?” I say as I try to look for a mirror. Not knowing that was not the reason why Twilight was scared of me. “N-no, its not that. Can you come down stairs please? Some ponies are here to speak with you.” “Okay, sure.” I said following her then stopping. “Uh, actually can I use your bathroom first. I need to relieve myself as it were.” I said as I crossed my back legs trying to hold the fluid in. “Second door on the left in that hallway.” She said pointing down a hallway. I rushed past her and slammed the door behind me, forgetting to lock it. I ran to the toilet and began to empty my bowels. After finishing I came to realize I needed a shower. So I took off my jacket which revealed scars over my chest, stomach, back, and neck. Most of the fur didn't grow around the scars. I climbed into the shower and since my adoptive parents moved around a lot I knew how to use all kinds of shower fixtures and the like. I got the water to slightly below hot and looked around for some body wash and shampoo. I soon began singing as I usually do when I'm in the shower. I didn't even notice that music had started coming from nowhere that went with the song. I found some of Spike's body wash but only found some of Twilight’s Shampoo and Conditioner. I sighed as I knew my hair was going to smell like lavender today. Then I ran into another problem. Spike's body wash was for scales, not fur. So I had to use Twilight's. I really didn't care what I smelled like but I did care what others did. That was a rather embarrassing day. I started by getting my mane and tail wet then grabbing Twilight's Shampoo I squirted some of it into my hoof. I put the bottle back and began scrubbing. It took about 3 minutes but now my mane was completely sudsy. Next was my tail, this was the hard part. I never had a tail before so this was going to be a new experience for me. I then got an idea and went looking into my new vast well of knowledge. And there was a lot. From experiences to spells to names. I looked through the spells and found a levitation spell. “Telekinesis? Sweet.” I started levitating everything like I would do as if I was grabbing them with imaginary hands. Soon my tail was clean and so was my legs and fur. I turned off the shower and stepped out. I didn't hear Twilight asking if she could come in. She must have took my silence as a yes. She opened the door and gasped as she saw my scars. I froze in place as I stared at her wide eyed. We stayed that way for a couple of seconds, frozen by shock. “GET THE FUCK OUT!” I yelled using the RCV. She scrambled backwards and I slammed the door. I quickly found a towel and began drying myself off. Once done I put my jacket back on. It needed to be washed. I walked out of the bathroom and went down stairs to find a sobbing Twilight and Fluttershy, Celestia, Spike, and Rarity consoling her. The rest were glaring at me. “Whatever she's crying about is her own fault. She should have never came into that bathroom. What she saw was not meant to be seen by your eyes.” I said as I walked past them into the kitchen and poured myself a cup of Apple Juice. What? It's good. I walked back where I was hugged by Twilight which surprised everyone there. Even me. I softly pushed her off. “Number one, don't ever touch me. Number two, don't touch me. Number three, I don't need your pity.” I said as I flopped down on the couch. I then realized something. I couldn't sit like a human. I shifted around till I got comfortable. I took a sip of my juice and waited for the questions. “Who did that to you?” Twilight asked with tears in her eyes still. “My father, the caretaker of the orphanage, bullies, etc. But I still turned out on top. Some where arrested, others got crappy jobs. Me? I went to college. In the end, I was the winner.” I said taking another sip of the juice. “Twilight what are you talking about? What exactly did you see?” Rainbow Dash asked throwing me an accusing glare. “You want to see? Fine, I'll show you.” I said agitated as I took off my jacket. When I completely took it off they gasped. They took in the amount of scars over my body. “This jacket was given to me by my brother before were separated. I always were it, and when I'm not, I'm having it cleaned, stitched up, or fitted to match my size. I wear it in his memory and to cover my scars.” I told as I took another sip of my almost empty glass. My eyes were a bit misty but I rubbed the tears away with a fetlock. I chocked back a sob at the memory of watching him slowly shrink in the orphanage window as I was driven away. “He was my only real family.” I couldn't hold it back anymore and began sobbing. “Why couldn't we stay together!” I cried out crying. I felt somepony hug me and the smell of lavender. Twilight must have been hugging me. That smell was then ocampanied by apples, followed by a fruity mixture, cotton candy, some kind of perfume, and the smell of grass in the morning after a light rain. Must have been the others. “I miss him.” I chocked out. I rarely cry, but when I do, it's for a good reason. When I finally stopped they pulled away. “I'm so sorry you were separated from your brother, I can't imagine losing my brother like you did.” Twilight consoled. “Ah agree.” Applejack said. “Thanks. But it's been such a long time, I don't think we would recognize each other.” I said with a bit of a sad chuckle. “We always believed that one day we would see new places that none have seen before. Looks like I beat him to the punch.” I sighed and looked down. “Too bad we couldn't see this place together.” I felt Celestia place her wing around me. “I'm very sorry you two were separated. I know what it feels like when you lose someone very close to you.” I leaned into her hug and nuzzled her chest. I don't know why I did it but it felt… instinctual. I couldn't know it but Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack were now extremely jealous. I backed away and took a swig to drink the last of the apple juice. “Well, I should get going. Need to find a job and all that.” I said walking to the door. Before I left though I hugged Twilight, Rainbow, then Applejack. The three now carrying blushes. “If you ever need me or want to talk, give me a message and I'll be right there.” I told them before leaving the treebary. I breathed in the fresh air through my nostrils before exhaling and setting out to find a job. ‘This is not as easy as I thought it to be.’ I thought as I was once again rejected. Spa, nope. Mail, nope. Bakery, nope. Practically every job turned me down one way or another. As I was salking around town I had wandered into the market. “Hey there sugarcube, any luck finding a job?” Applejack asked from my right. I sighed and told her of each of my turn downs. “Aw shucks sugarcube, sorry to hear about that. But hey, why don't you work with me on the farm? Ya may not be an Earth pony but ah think there are some jobs that you could do.” I perked up at that as I didn't really have any other choice. “Sure, when do I start and what do you need done?” I asked with enthusiasm. “Ya could help me pull the cart when ah finish up here. Then ah’ll introduce you to the rest of my family.” I agreed and started helping her sort the bits when ponies would bye apples. I was always a bit of a math geek when I was younger and counted out things to the very penny in my piggy bank. I once had $327.85 and most of it was quarters, dimes, nickles, and pennies. Bits aren't any different. I had separated the bits into four bags. 1 bit coins, 5 bit coins, 10 bit coins, and 20 bit coins. After all the apple products are sold Applejack found my system of bagging the bits to be more effective then placing it all in one big bag. By the end of selling all the apple products, I had counted out around 200, 1 bit coins. Around 250, 5 bit coins. Around 150, 10 bit coins. And around 50, 20 bit coins. Somewhere around 4000 bits, give or take a little. Just for apple products! I was sincerely amazed. As I pulled the cart full of barrels and bit bags, Applejack told me about her family. “Big Mac is may big brother. He doesn't really talk too much, so don't be surprised if you don't hear much out of him. Granny Smith is my grandmother and is in charge of the financial part of the farm. Applebloom is still in school right now and will be home later.” I smiled and nodded. While walking I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. I stopped and detached myself from the cart and pretense to take a breather. Applejack was about to ask me when I silently told her to sit down next to me and play along. She was still confused but obliged. We pretended to fall asleep and we heard the sound of hooves approaching. Whoever it was they were trying to stay quiet. I waited until I heard the moving of the cart till I attacked. I sprang up and tackled the pony trying to steal from Applejack. I got Applejack’s rope and tied up the pony. When I backed away, it was a light blue pony with a silverish mane and tail that had a white strip going through it. The cutie mark was a wand doing magic. “Untie Trixie right this moment!” She screamed. “Trixie! Where yah trying to steal may profits from today!? Oh wait till ah turn you in to the gaurd.” Applejack exclaimed. Trixie became frightened and tried pleading and begging to let her go. “Quiet!” I yelled at her, shutting her up. I pulled Applejack to the side and spoke to her. “We can't turn her in.” I told Applejack “What!? But she just tried to rob me!” Applejack argued. “Take a close look at her. You can see her ribs! She probably been going through a rough time and was trying to get some food. She was trying to get some bits so she can eat, she's probably starving. Please, Applejack. Let me watch over her and let her work on the farm to earn her food and her freedom. Until I deem it she can go free. Anything she does wrong can be blamed on me. Okay?” Applejack seemed to fight for an objection but finally caved. “Oh alright. Trixie, Star here is going to watch over you from now on till he deems you can be let go. Until them you will work on the farm and work for your food. Understand?” Trixie nodded rapidly and thanked me. “Trixie is forever grateful for this act of kindness towards Trixie.” “Stop with the third person crap and talk like a normal pony. That talking in the third person will get annoying real fast.” She nodded and stopped. After I untied her she tried standing but her hind leg gave out. I caught her and helped her into the cart. When I tackled her I had accidentally twisted her hind leg. “Hmm, you left hind leg is twisted, you'll need to stay off it for the day and it should be better by tomorrow.” I said as I hooked myself to the cart again and began pulling. I may or may not have used a weight reducing spell on the cart. Applejack looked at me and looked at my slightly straining muscles. I might have reduced the cart but not the storage. I could see the blush on her orange face and cute white freckles. Now that I take a real look at her. She's very cute and quite beautiful in a rustic kind of way. Her long golden mane. Cute Stetson hat. Those small white freckles. ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa. What the fuck are you thinking! She's an animal!’ ‘So? She's an intellectual being. And I'm technically an animal now as well!’ ‘Yeah, but still, if you ever went back to Earth and changed back into a human then you would be profiled with bestiality. Animal fucker.’ ‘I don't care and we’re never going back! Even if it was an option. I like it here. Compared to my old life this has been going great! Sure I have Chaos Magic but Magic! Actual magic! No slight of hand, no smoke and mirrors, just real live magic! This defies everything as humans can understand. And if any other humans come here or a portal is made bye the humans with the wrong intentions, then I will use everything in my power to protect my new home. So you can take your petty arguments and shove them up your ass!’ I yelled at my concise. It was then I realized we were at the entrance. “Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres.” Applejack introduced. We walked through the gate and Applejack told me to leave the cart in the barn. I did so and put Trixie on my back. We went inside where Applejack led me to a room me and Trixie would be staying until I bought a house. Problem was, there was only one bed. “Trixie, you take the bed, I'll sleep on the floor. Wouldn't be the first time I did so.” I told Trixie. She seemed surprised but knew if she argued then I wouldn't stop until she agreed. “Okay, fine. But can we at least share it? I get cold at night easily.” Trixie lied. I knew she lied. Not only did I have the ability to tell if people are lying, her body language said as such as well. Blushing face, nervous smile, etc. I smiled and placed her on the bed. I covered her with the blanket and went to leave the room. “Wait!” Trixie called. I stopped and turned my head a little to look at her. “Tr- wish to thank you. You have shown me a kindness I have not known for a long time.” She said blushing. Last thing I remember is celebrating my completion of a mission and getting hammered.’ I thought as I rubbed my head with a hoof. ‘Wait-’ I wrench the appendage away from me and look at it. The fur was light blue in color and the hoof was pure white. I stared at it for a few seconds before following it to a body. Correction, my body. ‘This bloody thing is attached to me!’ I yelled in my mind. After panicking a few minutes (hours) I finally calm down. ‘I wish my bro was here, he would be all over this fantasy kind of crap.’ I thought as I tried to stand. Nope. Failure. Denied. Fail after fail happened with me just trying to stand, much less walk. After a few hundred failed attempts, I can finally, at least, stand up. ‘Okay. Now one hoof in front of the other. Or, wait, that's bipeds. This is a… Quadruped? Yeah, that's the word. So how does a quadruped walk? Hmm.’ I put my right front hoof forward. Then my left. ‘Now I'm in a awkward position. Okay, back legs next.’ I put my right back hoof forward then my left leaving me standing normally. ‘Hmm, maybe right front then right back? Yeah, let's try that.’ I did so and while it worked it didn't feel natural. ‘Right front then left back, then vice versa?’ That did the trick. I was still very wobbly but at least now I had a destination in mind. I began my trek… ‘Umm, where am I even going?’ I stopped and for the first time took a look at my surroundings. I tried to determine if the sun was going up or down and after about an hour or so of just aimlessly walking in a straight line, I looked back at my shadow to see it had grown some. Which means the sun was going down to the west and his shadow was facing east. ‘East it is then, I really hope I can find some water soon.’ I thought as I trudged along. After a couple of mirages, I came across an actual river and after getting my fill of water went up the river. I was amazed I had yet to see any kind of wildlife and that I didn't get hot at all despite having a coat of fur now. It has now just occurred to me to check my reflection. Doing so reveal I had snow white hair and piercing icy blue eyes. On my back were two wings that was the same as my coat but slowly became whiter towards the tips of the feathers. ‘I look like Jack Frost if he was a fucking pegasus!’ I thought. My eyes were really big compared to any animal I've ever seen. Shaking off the shock, I went back to going up the river. Finally, the river split in two and in the V of the two rivers was trees. Dull gray trees but trees nonetheless. Venturing into them I lay next to a tree as I see the sun going down. Tiredness grips me as I fall asleep. (Pov shift: Starmaster.) “That the last of them?” I ask Applejack as I put the basket of apples into the barn. She nods saying. “Eeyup! That went a mighty bit faster thanks to you.” Applejack said then became bashful. “Hey, uh, if ya want. Would ya like to stay for dinner? Granny Smith is making her famous apple pie for dessert.” Applejack offered. I took a second to think about as I got a bucket of water and poured it on myself making me not so tired as I was before. It was also when I realized I was pretty freaking hungry. I looked back at Applejack and saw her in a full blush as she stared at my toned muscles. I wasn't particularly buff but I did have a good amount of muscle where it counts. “Applejack.” No response. I waved my hoof in front of her face while saying. “Applejack, Equis to Applejack.” That snapped her out of it as she blushed harder and stared at my face now. “Huh, uh, yeah sugarcube?” She asked rapidly while trying to hide her blush with her hat. ‘Why do all you freaking ponies have to be some adorable!?’ I thought before saying. “You asked if I wanted to stay for dinner and I accept the invitation.” I said with a smile. She nodded and went up to the house. I chuckled at her hasty moves as she bumped into the doorframe. I looked around to make sure no one was watching then used some chaos magic to make myself clean and dry. This family was pretty rustic so I didn't think I'd need to come my mane into a different style. Walking into the house that looks like a barn, I go up to Trixie's room and knock. Hearing a muffled ‘Come in.’ was all I needed. Opening the door I saw Trixie just now waking up. “Hey, feeling any better?” I ask as I moved to check her injury. The swelling has gone down thanks to the ice bag I put on it. “Tr- I mean, Yes, it is feeling better. Thank you for helping me.” She said with a small blush as I was basically checking her flank out. I had to admit, all of these ponies had nice asses, one way or another. Whether it be firm or have a nice amount of fat. But I was still a breast guy. So not much of a turn on here in pony land. Unless there was a spell to make a pony an anthro then, eh. “Well, it looks like most of the swelling has gone done. Let me preform an X-ray spell real quick.” I closed my eyes and concentrated on the spell. Opening them I saw Trixie's muscles, bones, organs. In other words, not a very pretty sight. Focusing on my task I saw that the leg was fully healed but was still a little weak. Canceling the spell I said. “Your leg is fine. All you need now is to walk a bit on it and strengthen it up and you should be good to go.” Trixie nodded and asked if I could help her up. Doing so I put her foreleg around my neck and moved so she could stand next to me, our bodies touching. Trixie must have felt the muscles hidden under my fur and skin as she blushed when she came into contact with it. Though I didn't see any of it as I was focused on helping her get down stairs. Easier said then done by the way. Two people should never go down the stairs at the same time but somehow we managed. I walked her over to the table and helped her into a chair. I pushed her chair in and went to help set the table. Going into the kitchen, I saw Big Mac getting plates and silverware. Using some basic unicorn magic, I levitated all the things onto the table in seconds properly. Big Mac looked at me and nodded with a smile. ‘His way of saying thanks I guess.’ I nodded back. Applejack was with Granny Smith helping finish up dinner. They smiled when they saw me. I went over and asked if they needed help. Applejack asked if I could find Applebloom and told me I could find her in a tree house in the fields. I nodded and went outside. After a while of walking I heard some low growls and a horrid smell. “Ugh, what the fuck is that smell?” I said as I covered my nostrils. Soon I heard high pitched screams. I forgot about the smell and bolted. The old me who gave no shits was gone, now the protective brother was in place. I came upon a tree house surrounded by wooden wolves. ‘Applebloom must be inside.’ I thought. A wolf was clawing it's way into the window. ‘Not on my watch.’ “Hey you wooden fucks! Over here!” I shouted as I ran at one. It turned it's head just in time to meet my back hooves. The head imploded into its body and it went flying into another wolf making it explode. Now their full attention was on me. They snarled at me and encircled me. I used my magic and grabbed the wolf trying to get in through the window and made him float over me. I condensed it into a ball of wood so condensed that it could punch through iron. I made a rope appear and connected it to the ball effectively making a thunder ball from Watchdogs 2. I began swinging it at great speeds and waited for one to pounce. The one behind me did and I turned and swung the ball right into the wolf's face making it explode and the body fall limp. I smiled and yelled. “Well you fucks!? Want a piece of me!? Come on, come get me! Applebloom, go get Applejack as soon as I start running!” I turned and ran making all the wolves give chase. I added magic to my legs giving them added speed and stamina. I kept swinging the ball while doing so. Two wolves were at my sides and when they both went at me at the same time. I poured more magic into my legs and jumped right over them. And 100 feet into the air. ‘Note to self. Practice body enhancing spells.’ I thought as I began falling back down. My momentum plus my jump made me effectively fly outside of Sweet Apple Acres and I crash landed. “Ugh, that's gonna leave a mark.” I say as I stand up. My back leg failed me making me think. ‘Great, I just dislocated my leg.’ I heard the barks and growls signaling the wolves were still after me. The pain in my leg made it hard to concentrate on my magic so I couldn't pick up my Thunderball with it. I grabbed it in my mouth and tried swinging it but ended up hitting me in the face. “Fuck!” I say as I dropped it. I looked up to see the wolves coming out of the trees and running at me. I close my eyes and thought back to my new friends, my old ones, and my brother. My mind went back to his face. The tears in our eyes as we were separated. ‘No. No, no, no, No, No!’ “NOOO!” I was wrapped in a non-colored glow as I was lifted off the ground. “You Will Not Take Me Away!” I yelled as I grabbed the wolves in my magic. I lifted them off the ground and made them fight each other. Slowly killing each other. “I am Starmaster! The Lord of Chaos! And you will be punished!” I yelled slamming them into the ground all at once. But I made their bodies stay intact. I ground them against the dirt and grass below effectively making a circle in the ground. “You listen and you listen good! If you ever come even close to this town, I will tear down the entire Everfree forest tree by tree and monster by monster. If you attack a pony, I will slowly kill you. I will make you feel pain unimaginable! Got it!” I accented those last words with another slam. Then I threw them into the Everfree forest. I breathed heavily as I got lower to the ground. Until I finally blacked out. (Pov shift: 3rd person) Applejack and Big Mac looked upon Star as he fell down from the sky till he was laid upon the ground. By now most of the town had shown up and were all staring at Star. Doing nothing but in what? Fear? Awe? None could really say. Applejack was the first to move and put Star on her back, heading to the hospital once again. Not even Twilight could have done what he just did. (Pov shift: Ice Stream.) I wake up with the feeling of soft grass on my cheek. Getting up I stretch and shake my body of the grogginess of sleep. ‘Still in pony body, still in this new weird world.’ I thought as I checked myself over. The feeling to relieve myself became apparent and went over to do it on a tree. That was when I realised something. I didn't know how to relieve myself with this body. So I just ended up standing with a forehoof keeping me up and my other hoof keeping the thing down so it didn't piss in my face. Afterwards I got down and washed my hooves in the stream. When I finished I continued to follow the river that went to the right. I kept looking for any signs of civilization while following the river while also trying to control my wings. The sensation of having wings was… Something hard to describe. Imagine you had shoulders on your back and instead of arms you immediately have hands instead. It kinda felt like that. So like shoulders, I moved them up and down and spread my ‘fingers’. It worked like it should and the wings opened and they went up and down according to my ‘shoulder’ movements. “I have to admit, when I learn to fly, this will be pretty damn cool. Though I don't think a full grown pegasus not knowing how to fly will be normal.” I talk to myself. Hey, humans are social creatures, why do you think we made Skype and all those other social media apps. Me and my brother were like PB and J. Couldn't have one without the other. He was always the smarter one of the two of us. Sad thing is though, a few months after he left, the orphanage burnt down due to an electrical fire. They had rounded up the rest of the kids but I had escaped. That place was a freaking prison. The only reason I didn't brake was because I believed we would see each other again. That didn't mean I didn't get picked on either. We both were. We could both hold our own in a fight. Me more so. But after he left, I needed to become stronger. So I did. I got in more fights and won. Soon I was left alone because everyone feared me. Even the person that ran the orphanage. I didn't even need a knife. But I didn't become a jock by no means. I stayed smart and planned my escape. I just needed an opening. That opening was the fire. I ran as fast as I could. I kept running till I couldn't anymore. From there it's history. I was so lost in memories I almost didn't see the small farm looking house to my left. “Who the hell lives on a rocky field?” I ask myself. Seeing as I wouldn't see anyone else anytime soon I decided that was my best choice. I steered towards it with hopes of getting some food. Even if I was a Pegasus I was not eating grass. About an hour later I had finally reached the porch of the house. I knocked on the door and yelled. “Hello? Anyone out here?” After a couple of seconds of nothing I was about to turn around when I heard the door open. I look to see a turquoisish gray pony with a straight Dark cyanish gray mane with spring -greenish gray highlights. She had grayish violet eyes with a grayish blue violet eyeshadow and had three purple marbles on each of her flanks. She was trying to hide behind her mane and asked. “Y- Y- Yes? M- M- May I help you?” I nodded and asked. “Yes, thank you, I was wondering if you could tell me where I am. I'm a little lost.” I told her. She nodded and looked me up and down. I could see a small blush on her cheeks, out of embarrassment or something else, I didn't know. “Your on my family’s rock farm. A bit south west of Ponyville, west of Appleloosa, and east of Las Pegasus. The closest town would be Appleloosa. Um, would you like to come inside?” She asked. I nodded eagerly. I desperately wanted to get out of the heat even though I wasn't hot. Which I thought was really weird. The inside was actually nice and cool compared to outside which I found quite odd. “Marble! Who was it?” Asked a stern feminine voice with a bit of a scratch to it. The pony that had come into view had bluish gray fur and her mane was an opalish gray. Her eyes were a piercing light apple green. “I- It was a lost pegasus stallion. He didn't know where he was.” ‘Marble’ told the other made. I also just now realized that I was a couple inches taller than them. If I had to guess, ‘Marble’ was 3 foot 6 and the other mare was 3 foot 8. Which meant I was at least 4 feet tall, more or less that is. “Yeah, I got lost in the desert and I don't really know how to fly since I was never taught so I walked east of my position till I found a river which I followed till I came upon a Y in the river where it combined into the single river I was walking along. I crossed the river and went to sleep. I woke up this morning and followed the right river till I saw your home here. With it being the only sign of civilization, I came here. And, well, you two know the rest.” I told the two. The unknown made nodded as she listened and ‘Marble’... Went off somewhere after my explanation. “So are you here to ask Marble on a date?” She asked with a glare. “What? No, I mean, I don't think she's ugly or anything, but I'm just not looking for a relationship you know?” I said, she nodded and said. “Well that's good, anyway, I'm Limestone Pie and that was my sister Marble Pie. This is the rock farm we work on to keep a steady flow of income. What's your name?” I was about to tell her my real name but I thought what with their names being abnormal compared to a human name then a human name might be abnormal compared to their names. So I thought up a name quickly. “Ice Stream. Nice to meet you Limestone.” I said holding out a wing as if going for a handshake. I was about retract it when she put her hoof in my wing which I closed the feathers around it and we shook. I was kinda amazed at the dexterity and flexibility of my feathers and wings. Folding my wing back up, I ask. “Is it okay that I stay for the night? I don't have a place to stay and I want to get moving as soon as possible in the morning so I can see that town that's nearby.” “Which one? Appleloosa or Ponyville? If you're heading to Ponyville then say hello to my sister Pinkie Pie if you see her. And don't worry about a description, you'll know her when you see her. And you'll have to ask my parents if you want to stay the night. I know we have a spare room because Pinkie has moved out.” She said. I nodded and asked where her parents were so I could ask if I could stay the night. “They should be back in a little bit, they went to Appleloosa to get some groceries for the week.” I nodded and asked what they usually sell. “We sell gems. The rocks in the area are mostly geodes and some have lots of gems in them. We exchange them for stuff in Appleloosa because it has the safest route. The one to Las Pegasus has Diamond Dog territory. But some of our gems have gone missing recently and I can bet you a thousand bits it's them dirty lowdown dogs.” She said the last part angrily. Marble came back in with some tea she had on a platter on her back and put it on the table. They somehow grabbed the tea cups with their hooves and I grabbed a cup with a wing. Okay, wings are freaking awesome once you can control them. “Have you tried setting down traps?” I asked. “You think we haven't tried? Those buggers can dig underground really fast. We would follow them but their tunnels are too complex.” “Well why not put down a floor they can't dig through? I can imagine that trying to dig through metal would be pretty hard. And then put rocks on top of it to weigh it down. After that lay down some cement, smooth it out and voila, dig proof.” I told her with a smile. She thought about it and said. “That is a good idea but where are we gonna store the gems until we finish the job? We can't put them in the house, there wouldn't be any place to hold it.” She took a sip of her tea. “While your plan is good. That is just the major flaw.” “Hmm, how do Diamond Dogs find gems?” I ask. “By smell, why?” “Cover the scent. Get some kind of perfume the dogs hate and use that. And if their like any dog where I come from then they must have hyper sensitive hearing. So a loud pitched noise should render them unable to focus and make them retreat. If you have a dog whistle on ha- hoof, use that.” “Huh, you know you're pretty smart for a pegasus. Usually it's unicorns that do all the science stuff.” She complimented with a small smile. I shrug and say that there is a difference between being smart and looking at all the details, no matter how insignificant that detail may be. She nods and takes another sip of tea as I do the same. We spend more time getting to know each other and Limestone ain't that bad once you get to know her. In the middle of our conversation another one of their sisters came inside. Her name was Maud Pie. Her eyes were a light turquoise with her eye-shadow being a grayish blue violet. Her mane and tail was straight and the same color as her eye-shadow. Her coat was a persian bluish gray in color. During the conversation when she joined in I could barely see her emotions. But I could see the twitch of her mouth when it was something funny or her ears at a noise. It was starting to get dark outside and the sisters were starting to worry. Me, I was more concerned. Hey, I may have turned to being a minor criminal but I never hurt innocent, I only threatened. I was actually arrested after about 20 years but they only did so because they wanted my help in infltrating some military base, but that's another story for another time. I walked to the front door and opened it to look outside. I couldn't see anything but I did hear the sounds of a scuffle. Though it was very muffled. The sounds were coming from underground. I stepped onto the dirt and the sounds stopped. It was quite for several seconds before I felt the earth below me shift. It was only a couple feet down so I leapt back onto the porch. I ran inside and grabbed the pot full of boiling water that was meant for tea. Carefully I went back to the porch and got ready. The dirt burst upwards and a hunched over bipedal dog was standing there. I splashed the boiling hot water on him and he howled in pain. It wasn't going to come out anytime soon thanks to his fur. So I expected him to have first or second degree burns for a while. I jumped onto the railing and jumped towards him, punching him in the eye. I quickly ran back inside and got a knife. What? I said I never hurt civilians. Another robber or murderer of the like, they were free game. The three looked on wide eyed as I ran the knife into the leg of the dog, making him howl even louder in pain. I ran it up the leg making the wound bigger and more blood to come out. If that didn't receive any medical treatment in the next 3 hours, he will bleed out. I walked up his body and pointed the knife at his throat. “Where, are, they.” I commanded. He was still howling in pain. I slapped him making him shut up but go into whimpers. “I'll ask again, where are they?” I commanded. I was about to slap him again but he finally said. “M- M- Main tunnels. Male will be forced to mine and female will be used for pleasure and mining.” He said. They were gonna rape the Pie Sisters Mother. I wouldn't have cared if it was my biological mother. But these were someone else's parents. ‘I lost someone close to me, I'm not gonna let it happen to someone else.’ I plunged the knife into the neck of the dog. Ending his life quickly. He was aloud mercy for telling me info I wanted to know. But the others? Their death will be slow and painful. Author's Note Another chap for my dude and dude-ets. You are very much welcome. Even Maud had a surprised and slightly horrified facial expression. They had watched me go around the property, picking up things I could use for weapons. I had found two pickaxes, a set of kitchen knives, a compass, and some wire. I could be pretty creative when I wanted to when it came to ending someone’s life. This new body was now just a minor inconvenience. At least in this body if I punched or kicked someone, I could do some damage. “Ice, wait.” Said Limestone as she came up to me. I stopped for a second to look at her. “I’m going with you. Maud will be staying here to protect Marble.” I shook my head in a no. “No, I’m doing this alone. I know you want to protect your family but I can tell killing isn’t in your nature. And once you have blood on your… hooves,” I had to stop to think of the correct terminology. “It changes you, and not in a good way. Stay out of this and protect your siblings.” I say, my face taking a somber mood. “I lost my family to others. Don’t make the same mistake I did.” I put a hoof on her shoulder and I could tell she saw the pain in my eyes when her gaze softened. “Alright. But be careful, okay?” She asks me kindly. I smile and nod. “Will do.” I say walking out the front door. I go to the hole in the ground and carefully lower myself down by putting my hooves against the walls and sliding down. When I reach the bottom, I follow the way the paw prints lead. It went on for a couple miles from what I could tell. I would have drowned the bastards but one, it would have killed the hostages. Two, I don't think the farm had enough water to flood this place. And 3, I didn't know how big the cave systems were. I stayed as silent as I could when I finally reached a long hall with multiple tunnels going which way and that. ‘Damn, should have killed him slower.’ I thought about the diamond dog I killed. I listened to each tunnel when I heard snoring coming from one of them. I go down the tunnel to see a barracks of sorts. It was lined with hammocks filled with sleeping Diamond dogs. There was too many for me to kill one by one and even if I set a fire, they could dig their way out. But I couldn't just leave them or some dog could call these guys for reinforcements. I would need to go slow and kill each one silently. I could only hope that no dogs would come down here and find me. I took out a knife and a pillow I found on one of the empty hammocks and proceeded to kill each one by stabbing them in the neck and covering their face with the pillow so it muffled their gurgles and screams. I was a little over three quarters of the way done when I heard footsteps coming from the tunnel. I was happy that the blankets were dirty and already had blood on them so it covered the blood and stab wounds. The room was dim and poorly lit so I hid under a hammock that was farthest away from the only light source which was a lantern. “So, you think new ponies will be good workers?” Whispered a Diamond Dog as his paw stepped right in front of my muzzle. “I don't know. Both seem pretty old. At least mare is Milf. Though she probably be my last pick for pleasure.” I was getting angry, fast. Though I stayed still and waited for them to fall asleep. “Agre- Wait, you smell that?” I winced on the inside. ‘Dogs, I forgot these things were dogs.’ I stealthily made my way to the stairs and tip-hoofed up them. It wasn't long before I heard howling and the rushing of paws coming up the steps. I ran up the steps full speed and when I made it to the corridor, I hid in a random tunnel. “Intruder! Assassin! Find! Kill!” These thing may talk like they are retarded but I knew that they thought I was an Assassin and they wanted me found and killed. Too bad for them that I am actually intelligent. I waited and watched as they ran down one tunnel to what must have been an armory because when they came back up they were wearing a set of poorly made and rusty armor. Their weapons consisted of badly made swords and some that looked like they belong in a castle. ‘Must be some knights in here. Damn, these guys must be on a wanted list somewhere.’ If only I knew how true that was. I watched as they split into groups of two, each pair going down a random tunnel and two staying in the corridor. ‘Clever dogs.’ I think as I form a plan. I look for a pebble and then I throw it down a tunnel that the dogs didn't go down. Naturally the noise attracted the dog’s attention. One stayed while the other checked it out. I went from my hiding place and silently back stabbed the dog. When the other dog turned to the sound of the thud found me with the dog laying on the ground with a knife in his upper back. “Hello, ready to be punished?” I ask with a devilish smile. The dog was about to howl but I threw a knife into his neck, turning it into a bloody gargle. I galloped down a tunnel that was a bit bigger than the others. I soon heard clanking and the sounds of pickaxes striking rocks. ‘And Bingo was his name-o.’ I thought as I slowed down to peek around the corner. I saw ponies in shackles of all ages, young, old, none was spared from doing hard labor. The two guards had split up down here to check the shackles of the pony slaves. I tried sneaking up behind one but a pony noticed me. Their eyes widened and the dog saw this, he turned around and swung his sword at me. I rolled to the side and took out a pickaxe. “Let's dance you ugly poodle.” I tried saying but it was muffled from the pickaxe in my mouth. I swung the pickaxe down and tried to hit his paw but he dodged out of the way and swung at me. The sword clipped my wing and took a few feathers off. The dog was strong but he wasn't fast. I spotted a pole and ran toward it. I gripped it with a hoof and swung my body in a 180, fanning out my wings making me go faster. He was running at me and realise what I was doing too late. I punched him in the face, knocking me out. I smiled at my victory but forgot about the other dog. He was just about to swing his sword through me when a rock smashed into his face. I heard this and spun around, swinging the pick into his leg. When I pulled it out he had a limp and was snarling at me. I swung the pick and it went into the side of his skull. “Play dead bitch.” I quipped. I knew it wasn't that good but I couldn't help but feel like I was a badass hero in a movie. I heard a round of cheers but I quickly quieted them. “We need to stay quite, there are dogs all over the place looking for us. Now I'm gonna try and free all of you but first, is there anypony here that are the parents of Marble, Maud, and Limestone Pie?” There was a round of mummers until the crowd parted to show me a gray stallion and dirty gold mare. “We're there parents. How do you know about them?” Asked the mare. “My name is Ice Stream, I'm a friend of them. Well, recent friend. More like good acquaintances, never mind that, I came here to rescue you two. When you didn't return when you usually do, or at least that is what I was told, and went to search for you. One of those dogs had tried to attack us and capture us. But I protected them and the house. Your kids are fine, but their worried about you two.” I could see the relief on their face as the mare hugged me in thanks. “Thank you for protecting them.” The stallion thanked me. When the mare released the hug I looked for some type of keys. Finding none I grabbed a pickaxe and used it as a crowbar to force the rusty locks open. Others followed my example and did the same with others locks. I had learned the names of the parents. Igneous Pie, the mother, and --- Pie, the father. “Alright, who here knows how to wield a sword?” I ask the assembled ponies. A few stallions and mares stepped forward. I gave each of them a knife and a pickaxe. I took the good sword from the dead dog and wielded it in my mouth. ‘Ugh, this tastes nasty.’ I thought as I used my wing to grab the handle instead. “Alright. We do this fast, we do this silently, we do this carefully. 5 of you will stay here and protect the civilians. The rest will come with me to assassinate or possibly capture the rest of those damned dogs.” “And who are you to tell us what to do?” Ask a white stallion. He looked a little older than most but was still younger than the elderly ponies. “Some of us have trained for this kind of situation. And what do you have?” “I have military training and the rank of Colonel. What do you have, maggot?” I say with a stiff and angry tone. This makes him shy back a few. “That's what I thought. Alright, we stay as a group. If you stray to far from the group, come back here and wait for us to regroup. Got it? Let's go.” I say turning and going up the tunnel. It was a total lie about my rank but I was close to being Colonel before I woke up in this strange land. Including me there was about 8 of us. Me, five stallions, and two mares. I poked my head out and saw the corridor was empty. But it was quiet… too quiet. I looked to the unicorn and asked in a whisper. “Can you make illusions?” I asked him. He seemed confused but nodded. I told him my plan and I could see him smile at the cleverness of it. The dogs were waiting in the tunnels near the main tunnel. When some of the dogs didn't return and found the two dead in the corridor dead, they knew where the assassin was. They waited until they head hoof steps and saw a stallion trying to sneak to the exit. The dogs jumped out of their hiding places all at once and circled the pony. “It's over pony. Now you die!” Said the leader as he slashed at the pony… or more like right though. The fake pony smiled before glowing brightly and blinding the dogs. “Attack!” I yelled out, decapitating two dogs at once. The dogs tried to scramble to defend themselves but before they knew it only the leader stood, surrounded by us. “My how the tables have turned. How did you like the flashbang? Still working on the ‘bang' part but the flash was perfect. Good job by the way.” I said the last part to the unicorn who made the illusion. The dog growled at me. “Somepony silence this pooch. And wrap him up tight.” I said to the Earth pony mare that had gotten some rope. She nodded and proceeded to tie up the dog. I checked his body and found some gems and a knife. I held it up for others to see. “This is why we check bodies, ponies. This could have cut & ropes and he would have killed one of us.” I say stabbing the knife into his foot. He would have howled in pain but the ropes around his muzzle muffled the howl of pain. I took it out and tossed it to the side were it made high pitched clang. The ponies looked on in mild shock. “Now let's get out of here.” Pov. Change: Starmaster Groaning in pain I sit up in bed. “Ugh, why do I feel like I took a full body shit?” My body felt it had been drained of most of its energy and was in a bearable amount of pain. I felt something around my horn but when tried to use magic to remove it nothing happened. I resorted to reaching up and poking it with my hoof. It was a… magic dampening ring. Oh how I loved knowing everything in a world that is new to me. I tired taking it off but it seemed it was glued to my horn. “Son of a bitch.” I cursed under my breath. I looked around the room I was in and found I was in a hospital room. “Oh hell no. I don't do hospitals.” I get out of bed and go to the window. ‘Of course I get the highest fucking room.’ I think looking down two or three stories. I back away from the window and look around the room, trying to find an escape route that wasn't the door. I had spotted a vent but it was too high to get too without magic or making some noise. I went into the bathroom that was connected to the room but the vent was too small, even if I could reach it. “Grr, god damn it.” I had to think. And think logically. If I could stack some things I could reach the vent but I didn't know when somepony would come in. If I took off the sheets on the bed I could twirl them and I could reach the floor below. But if the window was closed, I would have a one or two story drop. A one story I could possibly only get a sprained hoof. Two stories might be a broken leg if I didn't have the momentum to go into a PK roll. Then again, even if I did escape, what about the ring? How would I get it off? I resigned to trying the door and to my surprise it was unlocked. ‘Rather these fuckers are stupid or they are very trusting of their patients.’ I look down the hallway and seeing it was empty I used my ears… nothing. ‘Perfect.’ I tiptoed down the hall while keeping my ears on the lookout for any kind of noise. ‘It's quite. Too quiet.’ I stopped and listened closer. Where were the beeping of heart monitors? Where were the dripping of an IV? The moans and groans of pain? Something was very wrong. I ran down the halls. Looking in empty rooms. When I got to the main floor, there wasn't even a nurse. “This is some spooky ass shit right here.” I said to myself. When I got to the front doors, they were boarded up. Well, were. It looked like something had pushed the doors down. I ran through the door outside but what I saw scared me. It wasn't Ponyville, it was New York City. Buildings were being claimed by nature as dark clouds covered the sky. “Wait a minute.” I look closely at the buildings and recognised it. “My dream just had to be a zombie video game. I went back into the hospital and looked for a weapon. The best I could find was a bone saw that was for some reason made for ponies. I put my hoof into the hole that made up the handle and walked out of the hospital. I should have gotten some medicine but without a bag of some kind, that would be impossible. I heard a groan behind me and saw a pony that had been zombified. It was shuffling after because it's leg was broken. I smiled and ran at it. I jumped and shoved the saw through the head of the pony and out the back. I pulled it out and wiped it off on the zombie pony. I kept walking and avoiding large amounts of ponies. While I was looting around a station for some weapons I heard a scream. But this wasn't a scream of a Screecher as I have called the ones with unhinged jaws. It was the scream of a woman in fear. I grabbed a shotgun I had found and ran while trying to load it. I kept following the screams and what looked like a light show of blue magic beams. I ran into an alley and found Princess Luna blasting rows of Ponbies. The name needed work but it would do for now. “Duck!” I yelled to the princess. She ducked and I blasted Ponbie that was coming up behind her. She looked behind her to see the Ponbie whose head I blasted off. She turned to thank me but instead saw me running at her. She prepared a blast of magic but I instead jumped onto her back and kicked off, getting up high and getting a look around. Ponbies were flooding in from from all entries of the alley and I could see Luna was losing steam. “Luna! Go up!” I yelled down to her as I began climbing the building. I heard a flap of wings and I saw Luna following me onto the roof. But when we got there I heard a swarm of flapping wings. “Ponbie Pegasi. It just had to be Ponbie Pegasi.” I said exasperated and I pointed my shotgun into the air and let out a few rounds of buckshot. The shells ripped through the wings of the flying Ponbies and downed them. “Alright, we have approximately 5 minutes before we're interrupted. You have questions, ask them now.” I said taking off the saddlebags I found and getting out some water and food for the both of us. I popped open the cap of a water bottle and drank some of it. I put the cap back on and tossed the other to Luna. “Why are you having this… Nightmare! I have seen plenty of bad dreams but this is… entirely something else. Practically other worldly.” She said looking over the edge of the building and taking a drink of water. “What you call a Nightmare I call a dream. A Ponbie apocalypse. You have two options. Fight and survive. Or run and die. That's what an apocalypse is all about don't you know. Now listen, I have a safe house about 10 miles from here. Think you can watch my six as we move to get there?” I say eating a can of beans. “Your ‘six’?” Luna asks confused. I slap my face and say. “Watch my back. I swear do you use military code at all?” I say putting the bags on my back and jumping to the top of another building. I pull out a grenade and a silenced pistol and give it to Luna. “Use these. Don't want your magic giving away our position. Also, use the grenade to put an end to the Ponbies down there.” “What are these… contraptions?” She asks. I sigh once again and showed her how to use a pistol then the grenade. I pulled the pin and dropped it into the alley. “We should run now.” I say running and jumping from one building to another, Luna following. The grenade detonated and an explosion was heard. I laughed as Luna looked back in fear. We made it back to my hideout with little problems. I locked the door after pouring bleach over the way we came in. I then moved a bookshelf in front of the door. “Alright, we're safe. Now what-” I was cut off as Luna pressed me to a wall. “You are a sick stallion! Having dreams of killing ponies!? Is this what truly makes you happy!?” She whisper yells at me. I shook my head and smiled. “Technically, I'm not killing them since they're already dead. And this just helps me relax. Violence is very relaxing for me. And yes I know this a dream, in fact.” I made her sink halfway into the floor. “I'm a very vivid dreamer. I can change this to anything I want but I don't. Tell me, in dreams you can have anything you want. But even while you have it then, does it make one truly happy?” I ask walking over to a mini fridge as I moved her out of the floor. “The only thing I can't seem to affect is myself and this ring.” I say poking it. “Otherwise, you wouldn't have found me in the way I currently look. Though, now that I think about it I can just turn myself into any creature I want to normally.” I bring out a bottle of Sprite and pop open the cap with my horn. “You are a very strange stallion. And whatever is in that bottle?” She asks. “Soda, want some? It's kinda like carbonated water with syrup. To my understanding that is.” I say drinking it and letting out a small burp. “Ahh, now that's the good shit.” “Umm, sure?” I hand her the bottle and she starts drinking it instead of taking a sip. “Don't do that!” I try to warn but it was too late. Her eyes turned up as she dry heaved. “Yeah, carbonated drinks tend to do that. Try taking just small sips at first.” I tell her looking into my weapons looker and putting away the shotgun, silenced assault rifle, and silenced pistol. In the locker was bags of ammo, belts of grenades, a machine gun, even a rocket launcher. “Those *hack* weapons. *Hack* what are they?” Luna asked still dry heaving a little but not as much. “I'll tell ya later. Any other questions?” I say sitting in a chair and taking a drink of the soda. “Yes but they can wait as they are not why I am here. You have used Chaos magic yes?” I can only nod. “How?” “Short or Long version?” “Short, our time is limited.” Luna said taking a sip of the soda and making a cushion appear for her. “Alright. Discord was dying so as a failsafe to keep his Chaos magic from basically causing the planet to blue screen. Oh wait, you don't have those yet. Causing the planet to basically fuck itself over, he had to choose somepony to keep a hold of that magic. I was that lucky choice. And that's the short version.” I finished off the Sprite and stood. Luna was speechless for a moment until. “Sweet Creator. So now your the Spirit of Chaos?” She asked fearfully, backing away. “Yes and no. Spirit means that I'm already dead. And since I don't like titles I think I've made something that will satisfy me. Call me, The Pony of Chaos. Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?” I ask getting tired of the Ponbie apocalypse setting. So I changed it so it was now the orphanage from when I was a kid. “I suppose it does, Chaos.” She says glaring at me. “Relax, I have no intentions of doing anything evil. If I did, don't you think I would have done them already.” I said going to my bed and smoothing the covers. “This used to be my bed. My brother's was right next to mine.” The doors opened and two colts ran into the room laughing. One looked just like me but the other was just a black outline. They ran to the beds and took the pillows into their mouths, and began having a pillow fight. “It was always me and him you know. Brothers against a world that tried to beat us down. Me and Tia have had our hardships in the past.” Luna says as she sees the scene change to one outside. A colt version of me had his nose bleeding and he had bruises over his body. “We defended each other. Like we were in a war.” It showed of the outline beating up another outline, blood coating my brother's hooves as he punched the life out of another colt that had thought to mess with me while my brother was separated from me. The colt of me got up and put a hoof on my brother's wither. “Dude, he's not worth it. He learned his lesson.” The colt me said to my brother. We walked off, leaving the colt beaten and broken. “Such violence. No wonder that dream you were having was like that.” Luna said in slight shock. The scene changed so it was of me in a carriage, my brother banging on the window as he cried. I was doing the same in the carriage. “Yet you two loved each other to the point you would do anything for him and vice versa.” I could only nod as I teared up at the memory. “This has been enlightening. Thank you Chaos.” “Shane.” I said as I wiped away the tears. “I’m sorry?” Luna asked, looking at me quizzically. “Shane, my real name is Shane. I trust you enough to tell you my name. I trust that you won't say anything about our conversation?” I said looking at her with a small smile. She shakes her head. “The purpose of our meeting was for me to ask questions and tell them to my sister. But, I will respect your privacy and will not say anything about your true name and the things I have seen here.” She said bowing her head. “That's all I can ask for. Thank you Luna.” I said changing the scene to a grassy hill with a night sky above. A red and white picnic blanket under an oak tree. I walked over to the blanket and laid down while taking down the hood of my jacket. This allowed Luna to see my hair go down to halfway down my neck, and some scars on the back of my neck. “Do they still hurt?” Luna asks. “Physically, no. Emotionally and Mentally, very, very much.” I said looking up into the starry sky. With that Luna left, leaving me alone. Luna's eyes snapped open as her horn lost it's glow and she lifted it from my sleeping form. “Sister!? Are you alright? You looked scared for awhile their.” Celestia said as she wrapped Luna in a hug. “I am fine sister, though Chaos is not.” She said getting out of the hug. “Chaos?” Twilight asked, confused. “That is his new title.
