The best part about kissing Rainbow Dash was that she tasted like clouds.

No, not like candy. That was a cruel rumor circulating around Ponyville, and was more than likely truer about Pinkie Pie at any rate.

Rainbow's mouth was cool and clean, with a slight dusty flavor like rainwater and sunshine. It was the taste of soaring high over Equestria, of fast winds whipping at one's mane, of frolicking in puddles during a rainstorm. Most of all, Rainbow Dash tasted like freedom, and that was what Applejack loved about her most of all. With Rainbow by her side, she didn't have to fear anything. She could do anything she set her mind to. The sky was the limit, which was why she felt ready to take their relationship to the next stage.

She looked into Rainbow's eyes as they broke the kiss, a slight bead of saliva dangling between them.

"Now, Rainbow, ya say yer completely sure about what yer doin', right?"

Rainbow smiled. "Relax, AJ. You're in good hooves. I wouldn't do anything to you you didn't want me to."

"It's just..." Applejack's eyes dropped to the side. "I've never... Even with a stallion..."

"Shh, shh." Rainbow pressed her hoof gently against Applejack's lips. "Don't worry, I've got everything under control. You'll enjoy yourself, or my name's not Rainbow Dash."

Applejack swallowed, but nodded. The mix of uncertainty and excitement filled her with a tense exhilaration. Then Rainbow kissed the side of her neck, and all that nervous energy flooded straight into the area between her legs.

Rainbow giggled and pushed at her shoulder gently. Applejack took the hint, lying back on her bed. Rainbow's weight atop her was soft and warm, and actually not as weighty as she'd anticipated. Applejack licked her lips and nodded, feeling a fluttering in her chest. Rainbow spread her hind legs gently, kissing and nuzzling just above her most sensitive spot. The waiting was starting to drive her nuts.

"You like that, hmm?" Rainbow grinned devilishly. "Mm, you smell good. Let's see how you taste, farmpony..."

The first warm strokes of Rainbow Dash's tongue sent Applejack's hips straight up into the air. This did not deter Rainbow at all, thankfully, and she set about suckling and licking softly.

Rainbow shook her head as if trying to remove water from her mane. Her words came slowly, deliberately, and with random changes in tone. "'Sokay, AJ. Gilda did me worse. Usually on purpose. I'll be okahgggghhh..."

"You'd best lie down afore you hurt yourself, Rainbow." Nearly in tears, Applejack led Rainbow carefully to the bed and helped her into it. She hesitated a moment before joining her there, wrapping all four legs around her and squeezing her.

"Not gonna do that again," Rainbow mumbled. "Or next time I'll give ya a warnin' first..."

"What'd you do?"

Rainbow shifted around, turning to face her. "I buzzed you. It usually gets the mares where they wanna go. And it looks like it worked. Maybe a little too well."

"I love you, Rainbow," Applejack whispered. She closed her eyes and kissed Rainbow on the nose, eliciting a soft hiss of pain which she immediately regretted. "I'm so sorry. You know I don't wanna hurt ya."

"I know," Rainbow said, and chuckled quietly. "Looks like you beat me in reaction time, huh?" She gave Applejack a gap-toothed grin, which she couldn't help but laugh at.

"I feel awful though."

"Well, you'll get to make it up to me soon." Rainbow grinned. "Hope you paid attention."

Applejack smiled. "You bet, sugarcube."
