Chapters Part 1: Dear Pinkie Pie...
Dear Pinkie,
No that's how every letter for Pinkie Pie started.
Dear Pinkamena Diane Pie,
Ew. So formal. And long. Probably why Pinkie Pie had shortened it anyway.
Dear Pinkie Pie,
Starlight Glimmer found herself lost just glaring at the piece of parchment. It was a letter, that's it. She had written plenty of them in her life, so why was it so hard to find the words. She let out a defeated sighed and took a gaze around her room. There were pictures on her mirror of all her friends. But she seemed attached to one in particular. It was a picture from a day she wasn't very fond of, but the result ended up with her making a realization. About a certain pink mare. She had upset all her friends that day with the mind spell, but she felt the most regret towards Pinkie Pie. However, the earth pony was quick to forgive as soon as Starlight baked with her. She never knew how much she needed the pony's smile. And not to mention- her respect. She lost it for a short time that day. And even though Pinkie Pie had put it behind her, Starlight hadn't. She took the picture of her and Pinkie Pie off the wall making her way to her bed. She inspected the picture- as if looking for answers from it. She sighed, falling down on top of the bed, and allowing the picture to rest beside her. She rested her eyes, trying to clear her head. But all she could think about was Pinkie Pie.
Her bright blue eyes. Her curly mane. That stupidly adorable laugh.
"Ugh." Starlight groaned, sitting back up. She reached out from under her bed, taking hold of a medium sized purple book. It wore small teal and white stars, and in large font it read, "Starlight's Journal". Flipping the pages quickly, she saw what she was looking for. Taking the picture from the bed, she hesitantly placed it back on the mirror. Then she began to write.
Entry Number 32: I've found myself facing a difficult choice this past few weeks. I've been struggling with facing a certain pony, about a certain subject. Oh, why am I speaking in riddles? I like somepony. Somepony I never expected to like. Not that I'm complaining about feeling this way. It's a nice type of panic. A rush. When I see her, my whole day brightens. Well, considering who she is, it's not that surprising. I'm trying to write a letter. But it's not working out. It's not that I don't think she'd understand, it's just that she's slightly....unpredictable. And I'm not sure how she'll react if I'm being completely honest. I think I should just take a walk around town. Get some fresh air, talk to some ponies. Get my mind off this for a bit. Maybe when I stop stressing about it, I can actually think of something.
Starlight left the book open, but on top of her bed covers. And as if magic, there was a knock at the exact same time. Starlight placed the book under her sheets, and sat back at her desk. The letter was sitting there, slightly crumpled for times Starlight had threatened to make it a paper ball. With a sigh, she lit her horn and the paper vanished.
"Starlight? It's me. Can I come in?" She knew that voice. With a smile, she bowed her head. It was another pony who could always make her day, maybe not in the same way Pinkie Pie could, but one of her best friends nonetheless.
"Sure Twilight, it's open." The door was quickly, but carefully opened.
"So, I just wanted to let you know I'm going to town. I actually wanted to ask if want to come with. Spike bailed on me for some time with Rarity or something." Starlight smiled, rolling her eyes.
"Of course he did. I actually was thinking of going to town right now, so your timing is perfect."
"Perfect!" Twilight repeated, with a little bounce on her hooves. Starlight stood up to leave the room.
"Let me just use the filly's room real quick." Twilight nodded as Starlight left. The alicorn inspected the room with joyful curiosity. She frowned when she saw something underneath the covers of Starlight's bed. It was a book. And it was open. Her first instinct was to call after Starlight and ask what she wanted done with it. But then she remembered how far away the restroom was from her room. Why had Starlight even done that? Shaking her head, Twilight shrugged, jumping up to sit on top of the bed. She realized quickly t was a journal. But she had already read the last entry before she realized it. Twilight felt her face quickly heat up as she shoved the book underneath the sheets were she found it. A crush? Twilight practically couldn't believe it. She wanted to jump up and have a short fangirling moment, but Starlight had walked in at that precise moment. Twilight jumped at the sight of her student, hitting the ground with her hoof and smiling nervously. Starlight practically didn't notice.
"You ready to go?" Twilight asked, hesitance in her voice. Starlight smiled up at the princess, nodding.
"Yep! Let's go!" Starlight cheered, almost bouncing out the door as if she was trying to imitate Pinkie Pie. Twilight smiled anxiously. As Twilight followed her student, she zapped a scroll out of thin air.
"So....we need a couple things. Scrolls, ink, gemstones, a few new books to hand out, and a couple errands to run."
"So, the usual stuff?" Starlight smirked causing Twilight to roll her eyes.
"The usual stuff." They picked up and dropped off their items quickly, never stopping to talk or have a conversation. It was when a specific name popped up on the list that Twilight took a breath and stopped.
"Twilight? What's wrong? Are you okay?"
"I am, but...I need to ask you something." Twilight spoke softly, and moved her body into a position that looked liked something Fluttershy would do. Twilight made an effort to cover her eyes, but with little success.
"Sure! What is it?" Starlight shrugged.
"Okay, well you see...I-really-hope-you're-not-mad-at-me-because-I-kinda-went-through-your-book-thing-who-am-I-kidding-I-know-it's-a-journal-and-of-course-you're-mad-because-who-wouldn't-be-but-" Starlight held a hoof up to Twilight's mouth.
"Twilight you're rambling again. Just say whatever you need to say."
"And you won't get mad?" At this point Starlight was concerned. This was her teacher and usually the situation was reversed. Starlight couldn't think of anything Twilight could've done to act this way to her. Unless she blasted Trixie off the face of the earth. That would be logical.
'Why? What happened?"
"Well..." Twilight looked up at Starlight with a nervous glance. "I sorta went through your journal," Starlight's face went blank in shock. "Not on purpose though! It was just there and I didn't know what it was, and I just flipped to last entry and read it, but I-I, I really didn't mean to." There was a moment of silence before Starlight even opened her mouth to breath.
"What."
"I don't know who you were talking about if it makes you feel any better." She didn't, but Starlight knew Twilight at this point. She would do everything in her power to find out who it was.
"It's...she's..." Twilight practically hung on Starlight's words. Her mane touched Starlight's in anticipation.
"Mmhm?" Twilight hummed and Starlight sighed.
"Pinkie Pie." Twilight gasped, clapping her hooves. She began to bounce on all fours, squealing with delight. It slightly scared Starlight. She suddenly stopped, her face becoming serious.
"But you said you've been struggling with this..."
"Yeah..."
"Why?" Twilight asked, making Starlight glare at her.
"Why do you think? Haven't you ever had a crush?" Twilight scoffed, rolling her head.
"Years ago," She stated, remembering an orange stallion with blue mane. "but it was just a foal crush. Nothing more, I didn't expect it to be more. Or want it to. I think that's where we're differ, Starlight." Starlight bowed her head.
"...You're right." Twilight grinned boastfully.
"Oh, I know." She saw Starlight's sad expression and suddenly felt sympathy for her student. "But what are you going to do?"
"Well....I was writing a letter but..."
"But?" Starlight glanced up at her teacher, halting in the street.
"But I don't know what to say." Twilight stopped in front of her student, her concern changing into a soft smile.
"Well, this is Pinkie Pie. Whether you like it or not, she's going to want to talk to you. Or see you at least. But if you're writing a letter, write your feelings."
"That's just the thing, I don't know what it is about her."
"Well there you go! Dear Pinkie Pie, I want to tell you how I feel, but I don't even know myself." She nudged Starlight's shoulder. "And if there's something Pinkie, it's being unsure how to say how she's feeling. I know one time she went completely nuts because she thought we were sick of her and throwing her a goodbye party, when we were making her a surprise party! She didn't voice her opinion until we dragged her to barn. She assumed something that wasn't true." Twilight smiled nervously. "Then again, we were being extremely secretive." Starlight giggled, making Twilight nod her head with a grin. "Listen, even if Pinkie doesn't feel the same way, she would never try and hurt you, or do anything to hurt you. It's not who she is. Take a chance, Starlight. You never know." Starlight stared at the road beneath her thinking out her teacher's words as Twilight pulled out the list. "The next stop is Sugar Cube Corner." She saw Starlight thinking of the situation, and rolled up the scroll. "You can come with if you want, but I suggest you head back to the castle. Think about everything you like about her. Put your heart in Starlight." She smiled at her teacher, moving her head upwards.
"I will Twilight, thank you." Starlight turned and began to run back to the castle. Under her breath Twilight spoke,
"She'll say yes Starlight. You just need to ask."
Part 1: Dear Pinkie Pie...
I could tell you everything I admire
Dear Pinkie Pie,
I want to tell you how I feel, but I don't even know.
I could tell you everything I admire, but I had to admit it to myself before I could even make an effort to tell you.
So, here it is.
I like you. I like your singing, I like your laugh, I like your smile, I like your voice, and I like...your mane.
Starlight smiled as she waltzed into the castle with her scroll. During the spa session she had teleported it to her, written it down, and sent it back. Trixie had managed to calm her down with her mini therapy session. She was slightly more confident now in her letter. Her fast paced trots through the hallway echoed loudly. Entering her room she had been filled with determination. She was going to write it down. Well, she already had written down what Trixie told her to, but now she just needed to work on it a bit. Go through. Add details. She was taken back when she saw Sunburst sitting upon her bed with a very serious expression. He held a small piece of parchment with his magic in front of his face.
"I knocked five times on your door. I was unsure if you were sleeping or something, so I just walked in. Your door wasn't locked. Then this little thing popped up out of nowhere." He moved it to side of his face, pointing his hoof at it. "This is what you were talking about with Trixie before you shoved me into a room, isn't it? You were planning on telling me, right?" Starlight stared blankly before letting out a sigh.
"...Yes. It is what we were talking about. But..." She jumped up on top of the bed.
"But, you weren't going to tell me."
"Well, I just-"
"Wasn't sure how I'd react?"
"Well...yeah." Sunburst scoffed.
"You were and are my best friend, Starlight. I got over my crush awhile ago." Starlight's face grew a bright red. He really did know her, considering she didn't even have to say what she was thinking for him to know. She rested his hoof on her shoulder. "And you're probably sick of telling ponies all day you have a crush." Starlight shook her head, baffled.
"H-how did you...?"
"Been there done that. I didn't have many friends growing up, but I had a few. And they each found out about my crush on you one by one. Not all together. So, I'm took a guess that that's what you've been doing."
"Yeah... it is." Starlight said with a sigh, falling backwards. "How did you do it, Sunburst?"
"Do what?"
"Deal with it."
"Well..." Sunburst lifted his gaze upwards. "I never said anything. Not that it wasn't obvious and my actions didn't speak for themselves, but... that was my mistake." Starlight looked at him with confusion.
"Mistake?"
"Well, I never said that I liked you. Not just because I was scared, but I didn't want to force a decision on you."
"Force a desision? I mean, not to be mean here, but I think you already knew my answer."
"I did." Sunburst sneered. "I really did. But it didn't stop my feelings. I look back at it, and I wish I would've said something. Not to be with you, or love you, or anything like that. We were foals, after all. But...to feel better." Sunburst glanced at Starlight. "I can see this is a big deal for you. SO let her know. Just...trust me." There was a sigh from Starlight as she sat up.
"I want to. I am. This is my way. I've tried so hard to walk up to her and just...blurt out everything. I guess this letter is helping me figure out the words to the dot."
"I suppose it makes sense to me. I mean, my whole life being centered around parchment and such, you'd figure It'd make more sense, but I suppose I can't understand everything I wish to." Starlight smiled, jumping off her bed. She leaped onto her chair, swirling around in circles glaring at the small piece of paper.
"It's not done...yet. I need something else." Sunburst's eyes twirled, following Starlight as she spun around. He had to force himself to turn his whole head in order to speak to his friend or barely get a glance at her.
"Um... maybe you could stop spinning? It's giving me a headache... and making my stomach hurt." Starlight made the chair screech, giving Sunburst an evil stare.
"Party-pooper. Breaking my concentration." She sat up, only managing to let out a groan, banging her head against the table.
"H-hey!" Sunburst jumped, his voice quivering. He quickly tore Starlight off her desk, and onto the floor. She laid flat upon it- looking up at the ceiling. Hesitantly, Sunburst joined her.
"I just don't know Sunburst...Twilight and Trixie gave me great advice but, I'm still unsure why it is I like her."
"Can I tell you why I liked you. It's the same reason you're my friend now. I never want it to go away."
"Yes?" Starlight sighed, rolling her eyes. She cared for her friend's emotions and feelings, however more often than not, Sunburst's advice was short and to the point. Which is how Starlight was. But this was different. She wanted to be dramatic. Not simple.
"You make my day, and make me laugh." Starlight smiled. That was simple like she thought, but it's also why she liked Pinkie. She could use that.
"You don't mind if I use that, do you?" Sunburst laughed, waving his hoof around in the air.
"Of course not. And also- if you're unsure of what she likes, other than the obvious, ask someone who really knows her, like a relative." Starlight blinked in surprise.
"I know just the pony." She leaped up, jumping over Sunburst and galloping out of the room to find her suspect. "I'll talk to you later Sunburst!" Sunburst stepped outside of the room and waved her goodbye.
"Good luck!"
Part 1: Dear Pinkie Pie...
You Make My Day, And Make Me Laugh
Dear Pinkie Pie,
I want to tell you how I feel, but I don't even know.
I could tell you everything I admire, but I had to admit it to myself before I could even make an effort to tell you.
So, here it is.
I like you. I like your singing, I like your laugh, I like your smile, I like your voice, and I like...your mane.
You make my day, and make me laugh.
Maud
Starlight galloped through the streets of Ponyville quickly. She wasn't sure why . She had her own schedule, she could send Pinkie the letter whenever she wanted. Maybe she was worried Maud might be out somewhere? Or maybe it's just that this was her first priority. She needed Maud right now. More than ever. Not just to be advice. But for information! She didn't know the way by heart, but she helped Maud find it, so her memory was still intact on the underground location. She was please when she saw she was running down a familiar cave. And that it eventually lead to an entrance. Practically bursting through the door, Starlight caught glimpse of Maud and darted towards her.
"Maud I-" As soon as she got hold of Pinkie Pie's sister however, she realized she had no idea what to say. there were a few awkward minutes of blinking and silence before Maud spoke.
"You're hear to tell me something about Pinkie Pie." Starlight practically felt a hole being born in her chest.
"Wh-what?! How did you-"
"Your panicked expression says most of it. We are friends Starlight- but for you to have a look like that only means if something important happened to Pinkie Pie. Is she alright?" Starlight shook her head, baffled.
"Wha- uh, yeah..no! She's fine! I mean, this is about her but...she's...fine." Maud turned around nodding.
"What's wrong."
"Uhh...I'm afraid to ask."
"Why."
"Because you're her sister and I'm scared you might get really mad at me."
"I'm not Limestone." Maud barely made a smirk. "I'm your friend." Starlight shrugged. She had no idea who Limestone was, but she didn't care to find out.
"I need...advice."
"On." Maud sat quietly waiting for Starlight to respond, pouring some purple colored tea. Starlight lifted the cup to her lips, it tasted like a strange combination of lemons and grape. To her surprise, it somehow managed to taste good. She sighed before speaking.
"Pinkie Pie."
"But why would you- oh." For the first time, Starlight think she saw Maud genuinely shocked as the earth pony's eyes widened. "Ooohhh...." To Starlight's fear- Maud softly smiled.
"I uh-I'm-yeah."
"Indeed, Starlight. So, I figure if you're coming to me almost three hours to sunset, you've already spoken to your other friends."
"Yes. One actually suggested I talk to you. You should've been the first one i went to, I'm sorry."
"There's no reason to apologize, but what kind of advice do you need for Pinkie Pie."
"Just...her. In general. I know nothing about her, like, at all."
"Wouldn't other ponies consider this cheating?" Starlight titled her head in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, usually , when a pony likes another pony...they find out themselves what they like. Not go behind their back and ask their sister." Starlight's entire face grew red.
"I um..."
"But I'll tell you what I think you need to know."
"Hmm?" Starlight tilted her head again.
"I'll give you advice, but no information." Starlight slumped her shoulders. What did she mean?
"But why?"
"I just said. Ponies must find out themselves. Something I would tell her is that she makes you happy."
"That's it?"
"That's it."
"Really?"
"Why? Is it not true?"
"It is but-"
"But what?" Starlight couldn't find the words in her vocabulary to express how disappointed she was.
"I don't know...?"
"As Pinkie's sister- I'm telling you. Those words have more meaning behind them to her than your whole life ever will." Starlight softly gasped, touching her fluffed up chest with her hoof.
"Wow, no offense or what." Maud shook her head,
"No, I offended you on purpose. However, you should get back soon. You know the post office closes at Midnight. If you want to add to your speech, or whatever you have planned along with my advice... you better hurry."
"I will. But Maud?"
"Yes?"
"There's nothing else you can tell me?"
"Well, there is something. Two things actually."
"Yes?"
"Pour your soul. All your emotions. Your feelings. Pinkie doesn't like it when some pony hides their true colors just to make her or some pony else happy. It extremely bothers her." Starlight exhaled, leaving her cup on Maud's small coffee table.
"Good to know. What about the second?"
"The second?" Maud smiled. She could only yawn before taking her time to get hr bed-wear on. Slowing marching up the stairs, she glanced back at her unicorn friend. Starlight eagerly awaited this next important piece of advice.
"The second? It isn't so much advice as a suggestion. If you're planning on a letter- stickers. Stickers and drawings. Lots of them. I've learned over the years she'll respond to any letter if it looks cute and fun to open. So make your letter look like that." Her gaze sudden turned serious. "And sound like that." The beautiful flowers of the night rushed over the daylight ones. Starlight groaned tiredly. It'd been a long day. She decided she would write it out, and finally take it to the post office. She slowly walked back to the castle. On her way she had the option of teleporting the scroll to her at that second, writing down what Maud said, and could take it to the office. But decided she could use the extra walk. For thinking. She slammed open the castle doors grumpily. She decided it'd be better perhaps to finish it in the morning. A good night sleep to think on everything...after writing out what Maud had said of course. Scribbling down the words, she quickly jumped under the covers, closing her eyes and happily falling asleep.
Part 1: Dear Pinkie Pie...
You make me happy.
I know it isn't a big sentence, or huge reveal. But it's true. All of it. Whenever I'm around you, I feel...joy. Twilight and the others all helped me get over my past, but to be honest here, you accepted me when I returned without a doubt. You helped me understand Twilight, more than Twilight could make me understand friendship. In all it was just a huge cycle. If I'm being honest, I don't know what I'm expecting here from writing this letter to you. I'm unaware of what decision you'll make, what choice you'll choose. But because you're you, I know it'll be the right decision. I know it because I like you. No, not just like. I love you.
This is a big thing for me to admit, and I don't want you to feel pressured at all. But I've been speaking with all my friends today. (Including your sister!) They've all encouraged me to tell you. And so... well. I guess I took the scaredy-cat way. But, I was scared. Still am.
No matter what you choose, you'll always be my friend,
Yours truly, Starlight
There was a knock on the door. Pinkie was the only one up due to an extreme baking order. But she had a confused expression when she answered the door.
"For Miss Pie!" A grey pegasus announced with a smiled when Pinkie looked at her. The earth pony beamed, knowing who it was.
"Derpy! What's this?" Derpy handed the pinkie pony a neat envelope, with various stickers on it. Her name was written neatly on the front in cursive.
"A letter for you! It was "sent in" last minute, so I'm sorry you had to get this sooo late!" Pinkie Pie shook her head with a grin.
"Of course not! I was up anyways, so I suppose this would actually be perfect!"
"Well, if you didn't answer, I woulda just put it in your mailbox, but I saw the lights on."
"...whoops." Pinkie Pie blushed, realizing she had left the entire house's lights blazing. She was up, but the only lights that were necessary to be on were the kitchen ones.
"Anyways, I've gotta get home, it's been a long day!"
"I'm sure more for some than others."
"You know it."
"Have a good night!" Pinkie Pie waved giddily as the pegasus waved back. She opened the envelope quickly. Her expression turned from happy and giddy to shocked.

Author's Note
Author's Note: And it's done! It's finished! While this isn't a crackship per-say, I really do like it and I haven't seen stories for this paring. This is a two part story, the second half will be published after this one is complete. That aside,
I'd really like to know what everyone thought of this! It's the first chapter story I've fully finished in one take. By that I mean I didn't publish chapter by chapter. Hopefully when this is fully published (which it will be if you're reading this) I'll go back over the chapters, add more detail and character development than I have. Again, I know this isn't a very popular ship, but I like it, and I hope there's some future stories for it!
As another side note (A more grumpy mean one): If this story doesn't get much attention at all... I won't make the second story. Not to be rude or anything like that, but I just won't have the motivation if it doesn't.

Part 1: Dear Pinkie Pie...
I Want to Tell You How I Feel, But I Don't Even know
Dear Pinkie Pie,
I want to tell you how I feel, but I don't even know.
Starlight sighed. Think. Feel. That's what Twilight said. That's what she said to do. Starlight could only pull blanks. She knew why, she just couldn't put it in words. Something shimmering caught Starlight's eye and she glanced out her window. A certain blue unicorn was standing waving. She levitated crystals above her head, smiling. She had obviously learned a new spell. She walked over, opening her window.
"Trixie...what do you want?"
"Jeez, grumpy much? I learned a new spell."
"I figured as much."
"Well come on out!" Starlight grunted, unwillingly making her way out of the castle. She needed to think . Trixie bounced when she saw Starlight.
"So, what did you learn Trixie?" The sarcasm in her voice had no effort to be hidden. Trixie rolled her eyes.
"So, I just learned the Manifestation De Cristal Spell (The Crystal Manifestation Spell)! So I was reading an old book called..." Trixie's words trailed off in Starlight's head as she thought of the Pink earth pony. Her smile, her eyes, even her bouncy mane. "Starlight...Starlight...Starlight...Starlight !" Starlight gasped as she saw Trixie's angry eyes.
"Wha-huh?"
"Did you even hear anything I said?"
"Uhhh...no?" Starlight blinked, not nervously like usual. More often than not, Starlight would show interest in anything she had to say. But, she had important matters to tend to.
"Ugh, Trixie cannot believe you! I'm trying to tell you something very important, and you're not even listening."
"Well, it's not as important as something else I need to do."
"Oh yeah? Like what ." She was already stressed out before, and now Trxie wouldn't get out of her face. She got closer and closer, repeating "Like what" over and over. At least until she pushed Starlight over the edge.
"Like figuring out how to tell Pinkie Pie I like her !" There was a moment of silence before a voice interrupted it.
"S-Starlight?" Starlight turned quickly, recognizing the voice. She and Trixie gaped in unison. Starlight had completely forgotten. And now the two stood still by her cart, in complete and utter surprise and shock.
"Sunburst?!"
*
"Soo..." Trixie started, lightly tapping her left hoof. "What happened with Sunburst?" She asked as Starlight walked through the back door to her cart. Starlight groaned, falling down upon the grass in a heap on strange noises and sounds until she barely lifted her head up to respond.
"He's the guest bedroom... I completely forgot he was coming today!"
"Well, you're smart." Trixie sarcastically, causing Starlight to glare at her. "Sorry," She quickly replied."But, how much did he hear?" At the question Starlight buried her head in the ground again.
"Everything..." Trixie stared at her friend for a few minutes, before happily trotting over to her.
"Hey, you know what can fix this?" Trixie said cheerfully, unsure if this would make her friend happy or just angry at her.
"What."
"A spa day, obviously." She flicked her mane, and Starlight lifted her head. Trixie cringed at the sight of her friend's face being covered in dirt and mud. "...And you need one." Starlight took her hoof and began to walk with her depressingly.
"I don't know what to do." She said as they walked.
"What do you mean? Just, tell her you like her."
"It's not that easy, Trixie. I don't know if she will like me, or if she'll hate me..."
"Hate you? Please, I haven't had much conversation with her, but from what I've heard....it's practically impossible."
"I've been known to do the impossible." Trixie stared blank momentarily, unsure of how to respond. She smiled suddenly, nudging her friend.
"If she rejects you, then she's missing out," Trixie blinked, making Starlight slightly blush from the compliment. "And if she doesn't, then you get what you want. I know there's probably not many like her. And my gut is telling me she won't full on reject you. And least not fully. But why don't you start on everything you like about her?"
"What you mean?"
"Well, for instance," she paused in the road, lifting a hoof to her chest and standing up on her hind legs. "I could tell you everything I admire from..." She paused again, making over dramatic movement with her head as she began walking once more. "Such and such to such and such."
"Such and such, to such and such?" Starlight smirked.
"I know it isn't 'Twilight Sparkle' advice but, it's all you're getting from me." Starlight rolled her eyes as the duo reached the spa.
"I got advice from Twilight about this." She said quietly.
"Oh really?" Trixie said sarcastically. "And what did the 'all wise and all knowing princess of friendship' have to say?"
"Almost the same as you. Say my feelings. But honestly Trixie? I don't even know what they are."
"...Okay. I'm gonna do something and you're gonna answer with a yes or a no. Got me?" Starlight nodded in understanding, making Trixie cough.
"Do you like Pinkie Pie?"
"Yes."
"Do you like Pinkie Pie's mane?"
"What does that even-" Trixie shushed Starlight before she could even finish her sentence.
"Do you?" Starlight blushed angrily, nodding. "Do you like her laugh?"
"Yes."
"Her smile?"
"Yes."
"Her high-pitch-over-the-top-annoying-voice?"
"Hey! It's not annoying! I happen to like her voice, thank you very much." Trixie rolled her eyes once more, before stepping in front of Starlight.
"You want to know what your feelings are?" Starlight nodded. "You have a crush." Starlight groaned.
"Tell me something I don't know!"
"I just did. The fact that you just said everything you like about her, practically, you've already shown you really do! If you were hesitant about your feelings before, you shouldn't be now. You know what you like, and I'm sure you know why you like it. You just have to admit it to yourself before you admit it to her. And remember-" She stood up on her hind legs again, making the same pose from earlier. "I could tell you everything I admire."

You make my day, and make me laugh.
You make me happy.
Starlight awoke with birds singing outside. To others, a beautiful and lucky way to start the day. To her, it was annoying and she wished they would go else where. Even though she was extremely grumpy, she knew what she was doing today. Getting out of bed, she made no hesitation to sit in front of the letter once more. Dipping her quill in ink, she began writing.
*
Starlight groaned in relief when she had read over her rough draft ten times. Carefully re-writing it on a finer, scented, pink paper, she slid in into an envelope. Taking Maud's advice, she covered it with hearts and balloon and animal stickers. Along with a poof of sparkles as a magic touch just from her. She hadn't looked outside her window all day, but the lighting in the room had changed. It was clearly night at this point. Smiling triumphantly, she placed the small piece of parchment her saddlebag and stepped outside her room. Starlight stopped suddenly when she saw a small dragon appear out of nowhere. He held a small blanket and a candle.
"Starlight! You haven't been out all day! Are you okay? I wanted to check up on you, but Twilight said for me to leave you alone and- hey, are you okay?" Starlight's gaze shifted left and right.
"Uhh, yeah, w-what time is it?"
"Two hourse 'till Midnight."
"What?!" Starlight yelled, running away from her dragon friend. The Post Office usually took around two hours to complete their deliveries. Almost all of them got back by midnight. Starlight hoped she would make it before they left. Reaching the office, she saw a pegasus about to take off. She had a light grey coat and yellow mane. Starlight swore she'd seen the mare before, but that didn't matter. "Wait!" Starlight yelled, and the pegasus halted in her tracks. She turned around to Starlight, who galloped to her quickly.
"Uh, yes?"
"Deliver this!"
"Ummm..." The pegasus mare made a derped expression. "We can't make deliveries that aren't-"
"Please! I need this delivered tonight! There's no way you don't know the place!" The mare raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, yeah? What is it?"
"Sugar Cube Corner! Where Pinkie Pie lives!" Her facial expression softened as she took the letter from Starlight.
"Oh, yeah! I know that! I can do that for you!" She took off and Starlight practically cried from thanking her.
