Broken Heart

As the newest couple were walking to Sugarcube Corner they talked about all their likes and dislikes. They were so excited that they didn't realize it when they arrived at the restaurant. Morning held open the door for her marefriend Lucky and then followed her to the back room for a private dinner.

As they approached the back room Pinkie Pie bounced over and said “Good evening Morning Rose and Lucky Rose if you will please have a seat your favorite dinner will be brought to you in five minutes.”

Morning and Lucky took their seats and continued to talk about each other. As they talked they realized that they had the exact same likes and dislikes. They were surprised to find out that they were born exactly a year apart to the day. Five minutes later Pinkie Pie bounced in with two plates of five cheese lasagna and a Caesar salad with ranch dressing. She also placed two cups of soda on the table and left. As Morning and Lucky ate they fell deeply in love with each other.

Once they finished eating dinner Morning paid for the meals and hoof in hoof they exited the restaurant and took a walk. As they were walking around Morning said “Lucky Rose I have something important to ask you in three weeks time. I hope you will say yes to the question because you are the greatest, kindest, most beautiful and noble mare I have ever met in my life. I love you with all my heart and soul and to me, you are a goddess and a dream come true. As Artemis is my witness I vow to love you forever.”

Lucky blushing deeply looks up at the stars and said “Morning Rose if the question is what I think it is my answer will most likely be a yes. For to me Morning, you are my true other half. You say that I am the greatest, kindest, most beautiful and noble mare ever. However, I think that description fits you more than it does me. To me, you are my lovely Rose and I love you with all my heart and soul my beautiful mare. Should you ever need me I'll be there. Even if I have to die if I can save you it's worth it.”

Morning Rose having to look away from the compliment blushed and said “Thank you so much for the perfect first date, Lucky Rose. Well, I should head home now that you are home. By the way, could you tell your mother I need to talk to her tomorrow after school? It is very important to me.”

Lucky Rose smiled and said “Of course my love. I will tell her tonight. I love you with all my heart and soul. Sleep well my beautiful mare and may Artemis watch over your dreams.” before leaving Lucky gave Morning a kiss goodnight.

Morning so happy from the date heads home with a smile on her face. As soon as she entered her home she ran up to her mother and said “mommy I have a favor to ask you. Could you please make me a wedding dress and can I borrow some bits for a ring? You see Lucky Rose and I are perfect for each other and fell in love with each other on our date.”

Rarity smiled wide and said with a look of excitement on her face "of course my dearest daughter. I will take your measurements after school tomorrow. As for the bits for a ring, I'll go with you this weekend to Canterlot to find the absolutely perfect ring for your love. Do you know her horn size dear?"

Morning Rose blushed a deep red and said "not yet, mother. I am going to ask Twilight for her horn measurements tomorrow after school. I hope she will accept it. I know we are moving way to fast but neither of us can stand to live without the other. to me she is Artemis and I am the moon. She is the light in my darkness. I know that someday we may part but until then I want to be with her. By some miracle, she wants to be with me as well."

Rarity looked at her daughter and said "Morning Rose, as I told you earlier today you and Lucky are the perfect pair. No matter what may come your way I know you two will be loyal, kind, generous, happy and honest with each other. Before I felt your love for Lucky the strongest love I felt was from Cadance and Shining Armor. However, your love was a hundred times stronger."

Morning surprised at what her mother just said asked "Really mom? you think our love for each other is stronger than the Princess of Love's love. I only ask because their love is the strongest I have ever seen."

Rarity smiled at her daughter and said "yes my dearest daughter. I truly think your love is stronger than theirs. Anyway, you need to get to bed. You have a busy day ahead of you tomorrow and you don't want to be tired."

Rose smiled and said "You are right mom. night and I love you so much. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I'll never forget it." With everything said Rose went off to bed and dreamt of her wedding day.
