MLP: The Purge

From 11:45pm........

After the security shutters closed again, sealing the Manefair Hotel off, Fluttershy and Rainbow took Applejack and Twilight Sparkle to the medical room in the first floor of the hotel, along with Coco Pommel, to be treated of their injuries. As for Babs Seed, she helped Rarity and Pinkie Pie take their prisoners to the storage area and lock them up there until the Purge ends. Before they left, Suri wakes up only to find herself and Yeo's front hooves tied behind their backs and their hind legs tied up in a criss-cross. As Rarity stared at her earth pony nemesis again, Suri makes her speech in front of the fashionista.

"So Rarity, now that you took me and that brute prisoner, what are you guys going to do to us now??"

"That will be Twilight's decision to make," Rarity grunted while giving Suri a stern look on her face.

"Why's that?? Why won't you guys kill us already???" Suri asked, not even thinking clearly about herself anymore. "We've got nothing left to live for other than Purging on the streets and putting ponies out of their misery!!!"

"Because my dear, we don't want to earn a bad reputation among all Equestrian ponies," Rarity answered in a calm voice. "It's bad enough that one of our friends was forced by the NFFE to enact the Purge just to keep the overpopulation in Manhattan to a minimum."

"Well what about Twilight??" Suri asked offending Rarity further. "Why didn't you rebel against her even though she carried out the Purge?"

"Did Twilight really want to carryout something as despicable as this?? IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK?!!!" Rarity snapped at Suri. "At first, I didn't believed that she did the right thing to control the poverty and unemployment at Manehattan. Twilight was about to convince the delegates at Canterlot that the Purge isn't going to work well later on. However, the decision of enacting the Purge was already done because Twilight wasn't the only one being forced to do this by the NFFE; the Royal Sisters were forced to do it as well in exchange for the lives in Canterlot. Our anger over Twilight's erroneous decision isn't going to solve anything. We knew that she needed help in standing up against the NFFE in future someday. We are daughters of Equestria and Equestria's pony folk. So I can assure you that Equestria deserves a more better future than being put in a murderous death match to boost the country's economy. Therefore, it won't matter what kind of political hardships Twilight is forced to put up with, she'll always be our friend and our leader because we still have faith in her as the Mane 5."

Upon hearing what Rarity just said at the top of her lungs, Suri was left speechless. As it turns out, the Mane 6 refuses to give their country up to a group of cruel politicians that don't care about the lives of innocent ponies. Before Suri could say anymore, Rarity headed out the door leading outside of the storage room.

"Just think about the consequences of what the purge do to ponies in Manhattan and how it would affect your entire life," Rarity suggested before she closed the doors in front of Suri and Yeo.

12:05am.......

In the hotel's medical room, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash helped treat an unconscious Applejack and Twilight of their severe head injuries. Thanks to the medical training that she received from Nurse Redheart and from Zecora, Fluttershy was able to apply some first aid spray on Twilight and Applejack before using medicinal herbs to relieve the pain. As for Rainbow Dash, after Fluttershy did her work, she took out a roll of dress wrapping from a medical kit, inside a nearby cabinet, and wrapped around the wounds that all three ponies have received over the past 5 hours.

At 2:35am, Twilight and Applejack finally woke up from the medical beds feeling a bit groggy and dizzy from their last fight against the purgers. At the same time, Fluttershy started hugging Twilight, relived that she is okay, the same goes for Rainbow Dash hugging Applejack. After being embraced by their friends for a few minutes, both the earth pony and alicorn princess looked at the mirror adjacent to their left side. Twilight sees herself having a white dress wound wrapped around her head, a square bandage covering up her bruise on her right cheek, and a small bandage on top of her nose. As for Applejack, she had a white dress wound covering up her left eye and half of her head at the same time.

"Twilight. Applejack. How are you both feeling?" Fluttershy asked out of concern.

"My head is still pounding a bit," Twilight grunted as she got off of her medical bed. "How's everypony doing?"

"Well, it felt like ah got slammed by ah heavy tree branch in da noggin," Applejack groaned in pain. "What happened to ma eye, ah?"

"Sorry, but it got hit in the eye by your own riot shield," Fluttershy explained.

"Where's Yeo?!" Twilight asked as she remembered bringing in her prisoner earlier before she collapsed from her injuries.

"Rarity and Pinkie took them both in and locked them up in the storage room," Fluttershy told Twilight.

"That's good to hear," Twilight said to herself.

"By the way Twi, why did ya capture that bucker for?" Applejack asked the injured alicorn. "He tried to kill both of us ya know!!!"

"I need to bring him into the police station alive so that I can collect his bounty to cover up Rarity's insurance in her Manehattan boutique," Twilight explained.

After she told Applejack on what she's planning to do with Yeo after the Purge, Twilight turns around to see Coco Pommel resting on her medical bed. After Coco was treated of her injuries, she had bandages wrapped around all four of her hooves and a white patch covering up her left cheek. However, Coco's injuries weren't as bad what both Twilight and Applejack had received after their fight with one of the purgers in Manehattan.

"Fluttershy, when did she get here?" Twilight asked the yellow female pegasus.

"Coco was being used as bait by Suri to have Rarity come out and face her in the open in order to be purged," Fluttershy said while still shaking in fear for the safety of her fashionista friend. "If it hadn't been for Rainbow Dash, we probably will never be seeing Rarity again."

"What did ya do, ah?!" Applejack asked as her eyes widened.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Rainbow laughed her head off. "You guys should've seen it, AJ. I knocked their stagecoach right on top of Suri's thugs, crushing several of them while all in one go and sent the rest of them flying into the city's waterways, distracting her from her duel with Rarity. THAT WAS SO AWESOME!!!!"

"Thank you, Rainbow Dash," Applejack muttered in a positive tone. "What happened to that rogue snake, ah?!"

"We locked her up in the storage room along with Yeo," Fluttershy added.

As Applejack got out of her medical bed, she and Twilight made their way out the door, only to see Rarity appear before them. Upon seeing the alicorn and the earth pony mare in an injured state, Rarity almost fainted and fell on her back.

"Geez Rarity, git a hold of yerself!!!" Rainbow grunted out of annoyance as she grabbed Rarity by the shoulders. "Our work during the Purge is still far from over."

"So Pinkie, who else needs to be rescued out there during the Purge night?" Twilight asked the Pink pony.

"Let's see here.....mmmm," Pinkie said to herself as she pulled out a list from her curly pink mane for her to look at. "Cheese Sandwich and Rara are still out there and it's 3:00am. We have like 4 hours left before the purgy-urgy concludes. Those two ponies are last seen at the docks."

"We're going to be making a change of plans here," Applejack suggested to the group. "Sorry Twi, but yet going to have ta hold er fort now since yer in critical condition; Rarity will be takin yer place now."

"Thanks, Applejack," Twilight sighed as she touched her bruise with her left hoof, grunting in pain. "I guess I should've thought twice before dealing with Yeo alone."

"It's alright, sugarcube," Applejack replied. "Ya did save me life back there; if not, ah would've received more than just dis temporary eye injury."

"Yeah, that Yeo prick scared the living vibes out of me too when he ambushed on the way back to our base," Rainbow Dash added.

"Don't worry darling," Rarity said trying to relieve Twilight of her few hours of life-threatening stress. "We'll be back before you know it."

"Good luck guys," Twilight said to four of her friends before they went to the fire escape behind the hotel. "Just don't let those purgers see you."

As Twilight see the four ponies leave the hallway before heading down the fire escape from the second floor behind the hotel, the purple alicorn went down to the lobby to stay on guard with Babs Seed watching through the surveillance cameras in the security room. At the Lobby, Twilight sees Fluttershy at the lounge area while watching the Purge on TV. As Twilight went up to the yellow pegasus, Fluttershy turned around to see the injured alicorn appear before her.

"So Twilight, what are we going to do once this Purge night is over?" Fluttershy asked in a terrified voice. "When I saw your head bleeding while you're unconscious, you almost gave me a heart attack. I mean, you don't really need to risk your life for us just because of what you did two years ago. We could still find a way to resolve this together than rather do it in a reckless method."

"The important things that a princess can do is realizes when she's made a mistake and fix it," Twilight said to Fluttershy as she explained her entire Royal background. "So as soon as I finish what needs to be done here after the purge, I'll find some pony that'll serve under me as my chancellor to help me abolish the Purge someday; likely towards an election event. I hope the other princesses will soon realize the error of their ways before its too late."

Upon hearing Twilight's determination to fix up the mess, Fluttershy couldn't believe that Twilight refuses to give up on her country and her fellow princesses. With that said, Fluttershy can only pray that Twilight will find enough political power to put an end to the purge in years to come. As for Babs Seed and Coco Pommel, they were able to hear Twilight's vow while they were sitting at the dinning area across from the hotel lobby. From what Twilight just said, Babs made a mistake in not thinking clearly about how bad Twilight felt when she enacted the purge against her own will. In her mind, it turns out that Applejack was right, the NFFE was just making ponies vent out anger and aggression in which will damage their reputation as heroes Equestria and the Element Bearers of Harmony. Despite Babs' anger towards Twilight Sparkle, she may need to find a way to forgive the ungrateful alicorn once the purge is completely over. As for Coco Pommel, she could only hope that Rarity will help save the other ponies from the purge before they get caught up in this violent madness.

3:41pm......

On their way to the Manehattan docks, Pinkie Pie put on her stealth cloak once again before scouting ahead. As for Rainbow, Applejack, and Rarity, they made their way down the stairs and into a basketball court only to see several ponies dangling from the windows from an apartment across from where the three ponies are at. As they got closer, Rarity almost freaked out after seeing those poor ponies get hanged on their necks, with the ropes dangling from the window sills. On their right, Applejack sees a huge bloody writing on the brick wall that says, "PURGE!!!" on it, much to Rarity's horror. On Rarity's left, she sees severe pony heads mounted on top of the court fence with blood coming down to the court floor.

"Oh Celestia, I can't stand such indecent horror unfold before my very eyes!!!" Rarity complained as she started to freak out.

"Quit being ah drama queen Rarity," Applejack said as she gave the fashionista a stern, annoyed look from her face. "Unless we can find any pony else ta replace yer sorry flank, der cannot be any holdin back from such violent terror. We are doing dis for Twi because she needs us to help rebel against the purge that they forced her to unleash. Do ya understand me??"

Unable to say anymore, Rarity felt paralyzed with the horrors that the purge has unleashed upon her and her friends. But in just a few minutes, Applejack gave Rarity her comeuppance to make her snap out of her fears.

"LOOK AT ME!!!" Applejack shouted as she slapped at Rarity across the face with her hoof, making the fashionista snap back into reality. "Twi needs us and we need her. Twi did told us dat the NFFE is up to something that may put her and the princesses in danger. We'll do whatever it takes to find ah way to expose da truth behind der scheming."

"Okay! Okay!" Rarity said trying to respond to Applejack before she gets worse. "I'm just afraid of what they'll do to my parents and my little sister if they were to get caught up in the purge too. Your right AJ, we need to find a way to expose the NFFE's evil scheming throughout the entire country before its too late."

After finishing her conversation with Applejack, Rarity leads the way for the earth pony mare and Rainbow Dash as they left the basketball court. As soon as they made their way to the Manehattan docks, Pinkie Pie appeared in front of them before making her latest report to the group.

"According to my Pinkie sense, there is a pirate galleon on the prowl all over the Manehattan waterways. The pirate crew commandeering it are mostly Minotaurs and griffins all armed with blunderbusses, musket rifles, cultasses, and hunting spears, all out on deck. They ambush and attack their prey from various docks. After that, they haul their purged victims and hanged them up onto their masts, taken in as trophies during their purge night. Rara and Cheese are last seen hiding inside a dock warehouse one hour ago."

"I'd say that we keep those pirates distracted while one of us find Rara and Cheese before getting them back to our hotel," Rainbow suggested to the group.

"Now dat ya mentioned it, there is a huge Flamethrower cannon mounted on an abandoned Dragon longboat inside one of da dock warehouses," Rarity informed the group. "It hasn't been used for more than 12 years straight!!"

"I'll go manned it, while you and Rainbow go rescue the two ponies." Applejack told the group.

As they made their way to the docks, the three ponies came across a couple of deserted dock warehouses. While Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow searched for Cheese and Rara inside the warehouses, Pinkie Pie bounced her tail up all the way to the top of one of the warehouses from above their position. Up there, Pinkie did her best to keep on a lookout for any purgers nearby while hiding underneath her stealth cloak. Inside the warehouses, there was darkness all over inside the building. Above them, Rarity could see that the lamps are all broken and for that, she was unable to turn on the lights inside the warehouse. So, the fashionista had no choice but to light up her horn to illuminate the darkness inside the warehouse, with Applejack and Rainbow stick close to each other while holding onto their weapons with their hooves or with their teeth. After searching through every crate and every abandoned ship in the warehouses, the three ponies weren't able to find what they're looking for until, one scared earth pony busted her way through the warehouse's front door and slamming it right behind her. Upon hearing the doors slam shut, the three ponies almost freaked out thinking that a purger has entered the building. As they raised their weapons up high, the earth pony that is lurking in the shadows stood there a couple of feet away from them.

"Applejack, is that you??" The pony in the shadows spoke.

"S-Stay back, ya varmit. We won't hesitate to hurt ya!!!" Applejack said giving the would-be killer a fair warning as she raised her heavy flail with her left hoof and her riot shield up in front of her.

Behind Applejack, Rainbow took out her bow and arrow and aimed at the pony inside the shadows within the warehouse. As for Rarity, she used her magic to take out one of her Blackhawk Revolvers and pointed it at the pony in the shadows, in fearing for her life. After a few minutes of aiming their weapons at the pony stalker inside the warehouse, the pony continued to speak to the group while they're trembling in fear. However, the pony did not make any sudden movements and stepped forward as she took out and dropped her fish hook right in front of the trio. As soon as Rarity shinned the light from her horn at the pony in the shadows, her eyes widened with shock, along with Rainbow and Applejack. The pony came out of the shadows only to reveal herself as Colortura a.k.a Rara. Only this time, despite wearing her clothes for composing her songs at the stage, Rara was now seeing covered up in blood that's not even hers and that her mane was a total mess. What's worse is that her dress was ripped to shreds after getting attacked during the purge night.

"RARA!!!" Applejack cried in surprise. "Oh neilly, I'm so glad yer okay!!!!"

Without giving it another thought, Applejack ran up to Rara and hugged her in her hooves out of relief. In return, Rara hugged Applejack backed during their embrace. After a few seconds, Rara pushed Applejack in an alarming rate before telling her about her warning.

"Please Applejack, you've got to save me!!!" Rara spoke in a panicked tone.

"Calm down sugarcube," Applejack said trying to sympathize the her frightened earth pony friend. "Just tell us, what is going on?!"

"I'm being chased by a group of pirates who were onboard a ship nearby!!!" Rara said in a panic. "I was able to escape from them but not before they took out some of my fans earlier. Please, you have to help me!!! I don't want to die!!!!"

Before Applejack could say another word, she and the entire group could hear some pirates cackling very loudly from the waterways outside of the abandoned dock warehouse. As Applejack looked outside the window of the warehouse, she sees a pirate galleon shooting innocent civilians at the docks a couple of meters away from their position. Without hesitation, Applejack took out the radio with her hoof and turned the channel to contact Pinkie Pie.

"Pinkie, are ya seeing this?!!" Applejack asked the pink pony through the radio.

"Yes indeedy!!!" Pinkie squeaked in fright. "Take cover everypony!!!"

4:19am.....

On board the pirate galleon, the pirate Minotaur Captain steered his ship past several more dock warehouses shooting down various ponies that are trying to make a run for it. As the innocent ponies attempted to flee for their lives, some were shoot in the back by the pirate's musket fire while others were impaled by the harpoon cannons mounted on the ship's starboard deck. Upon getting impaled to death, the pirates pulled their victims away from the docks and dragged their corpses out on deck.

"EEYYYAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!" The Minotaur Captain screeched as he took out his hunting rifle and shot at one of the fleeing ponies in the head, making her head explode into a million bloody pieces before she collapsed onto the pier outside of one of the dock warhouses. "Shiver me timbers, ye hearties!!! There is no escape from the err Pirates of Feral HornClaw!!!"

As the Feral Hornclaw galleon reached the dock Warhouse that Applejack and her group was in, they all went behind the metal crates as the pirates opened fire with their blunderbusses and musket rifles.

"APPLEJACK!!! GET ON THAT BUCKING FLAME CANNON!!!" Rarity ordered the farm pony at the top of her lungs.

Without saying another word, Applejack jumped out from one of the crates and climbed on top of the dragon longboat, in which was right next to Rarity and the group. The moment Applejack went on board the dragon longboat, she sees the flamethrower cannon at the bow of the ship, already loaded with flame canisters. Without further a due, Applejack ran up to the flamethrower cannon, aimed it at the galleon's starboard deck, and spray jets of flame at the ship, reaching out 30 feet from where the longboat is at. As for Rarity, she took out her sniper rifle and started shooting at the pirates while on board their galleon from her hiding place inside the crates. Rainbow Dash went out the side exit of the dock warehouse and flew above the galleon as she started shooting arrows at the pirates while hovering in the night sky. As Rainbow made a strafing fire with her bow and arrows, several of the griffon and minotaur pirates were trying to take cover as they attempted to return fire with their firearms. Unfortunately, because of how distracted they were when shooting at the light-blue pegasus from above, they were also shoot in the head by Rarity's sniper rifle while others were scorched with fire from Applejack's flamethrower cannon. It wasn't long before the Minotaur Captain activated a shield barrier from his steering wheel, warding off the flames, sniper bullets, and arrows that are heading straight for them. While the pirates are distracted by the three ponies, Pinkie helped escort Rara to a safer place behind the dock warehouse.

"Prepare to board, ya laddies!!!" The Minotaur captain announced as he steered the ship directly towards the dock warehouse that the three ponies are in. "We err gonna to plunder derr BLOOD!!!!"

"Heads up every pony!!!" Applejack exclaimed while warning the rest of her friends. "Here dey come, y'all!!!!"

As soon as the BloodClaw pirates rammed their ship into the dock warehouse, Rarity left her post to get away from the ship's mass before she leaped forward over another stack of crates behind her. When the galleon stopped moving, remaining pirates jumped off the ship, drew out their cutlasses and double-bladed axes and charged forward at Rarity. Then again, the pirates were met with another torrent of flame gouging out from Applejack's flamethrower cannon. As a result, the pirates were screaming in pain as the fire continued to burn their flesh while several of them jumped into the sea. Applejack kept spewing out flames at the pirates until their pirate captain took out his hunting rifle and aimed it at Applejack's face. Just when the minotaur captain was about to take the shot, a yellow blur appeared from Applejack's left and shoved her to the deck of the dragon longboat, evading the bullet mere inches from the earth pony's face. As Applejack hit the deck, she turned around to see a familiar yellow earth pony right on top of her, smiling as if he doesn't fear anything. It was Cheese Sandwich!!!

"What in da hay just happened, ah?" Applejack shrieked while asking Cheese as she was about to get up on her hooves.

"You almost got shot by their minotaur pirate captain!!!" Cheese explained as he let go of Applejack. "Don't thank me yet, we have to get out of here before more of those merciless pirates show up at the docks!!!"

When Applejack and Cheese looked down to see the pirates charging through the warehouse, they see Rarity and Rainbow Dash fending them off with their weapons. As soon as the Pirates closed in on Rarity, she put her rifle away and drew out her revolvers before shooting at them 15 feet away from where she was standing at. Rarity took down one Griffon pirate with two bullets in the stomach and a Minotaur pirate with a shot in the head. As the third pirate approached Rarity, she shot her one of her revolvers in the pirate's shoulder blade making him fall on his back while screaming in pain. On Rarity's right, she spots a Griffin pirate attempting to leap on her from a nearby shipping crate while holding a pirate Axe with its right claw. In less than a second, however, Rarity aimed her left revolver at the leaping Griffin and shot at his heart in point blank range. As soon as the Griffin's heart made a bloody explosion, he collapsed onto the wooden floors on his stomach before succumbing to his fatal wounds.

On Rarity's left, Rainbow flew straight into a Minotaur pirate and slammed both of her front hooves into his face. Upon impact, Rainbow smashed the pirate in the nose and mouth, with blood squirting from his nostrils and breaking his jaw in a heartbeat. After the pirate collapsed onto the wooden floor of the dock warehouse, Rainbow grabbed his Cutlass with her mouth and sprang at another Minotaur pirate over his head. Just when the 2nd Minotaur was about to swing his battle axe at Rainbow, the light-blue pegasus pounced on top of his head with all four of her hooves, slamming him into the wooden floors head first and knocking him out cold. Behind Rainbow, a griffin pirate took out his musket rifle and aimed at the light-blue pegasus. However, before he could fire at the pegasus, Applejack jumped off the dragon long boat and smashed the griffin from above with her riot shield. After breaking the griffin's skull with her shield, Applejack slammed the riot shield at a nearby pirate minotaur across the face, making him fall backwards and plummeted into the wooden floors. Before the minotaur could get up, Applejack finished him off with a heavy flail bashing him on the head making his head bleed to death.

Unfortunately, despite the three ponies fighting valiantly against the Feral HornClaw Pirates, they slowly started to getting overwhelmed by their numbers.

"Der's too many of those buggers, guys!!!" Applejack complained as she swung her flail at another griffin, breaking his wings as he squirmed on the ground in pain. "We need to git out of here, y'all!!!"

"I'll take care of that!!!" Pinkie Pie snickered as she took out a knife and ripped the fuel tanks with it.

As Rainbow, Applejack, and Rarity helped Cheese, and Rara escape the dock warehouse, Pinkie threw the leaking fuel tanks at the encroaching pirates,the fuel spilled all over the wooden floors. The next thing that happened is when the pink pony threw a flaming barrel into the warehouse.

"Every pony!!! HIT THE DECK!!!" Pinkie yelled as she ducked undercover behind a pile of rocks.

As soon as the flame barrel touched the leaking fuel, the entire warehouse exploded into a huge, living inferno. At the same time, the flamethrower cannons also exploded when Rainbow Dash aimed and shot one of her arrows at its fuel tanks attached to it. As a result, more flaming explosions erupted and destroyed the entire Manehattan pier, taking all of the pirates with it. When most of the pirates got caught into the massive fiery explosions, they all screamed in terror before they're all sent flying while aflame. Even the Pirate Captain didn't have a chance, for he got too close to the flame barrel when he stepped onto the leaking fuel, unaware of its stench.

When the flames ignited from the leaking fuel, it started a combustion that covered up the captain's face as he started screaming in terror, silencing him forever as the flames consumed him before the warehouse exploded while he was inside.

4:55am......

Back at the Hotel, Twilight and Fluttershy grabbed some canned food from their room to munch on at the lobby, when all of a sudden, Babs Seed spotted a gang of purgers show up outside of the Manefair Hotel at the front. Upon seeing this, Babs busted to the lobby in a panic.

"Twilight!! Fluttershy!!!" Babs spoke out loud, alarming the two flying ponies. "There is a gang of purgers outside of the Hotel. What do we do?"

Upon hearing what Babs just said, Twilight immediately went to the security room to check on the surveillance cameras. When she saw what was on the cameras, Twilight's eyes widened with shock that the Black Death Gang has finally come for her during the purge night. Even though she has two hours left before the purge ends, Twilight doesn't know if she'll survive the night since her friends went on ahead to rescue Rara and Cheese Sandwich.

"Twilight!!! We know you're in there, Princess!!!" The Black Death Gang Leader. "Since we have wasted enough time during the purge night. Your time has come to be purged and to be free from all of your sins and corruption!!! Men, prepare to attack!!!"

After hearing what the gang leader said, Twilight took out her radio with her magic to contact her friends outside of the hotel.

"Guys!!! It's the Black Death Gang," Twilight spoke to her radio. "They're going to attack our base to come after me. I need your help, now!!!!"
