MLP: The Purge

4:54am......

As the dock warehouse exploded behind the six ponies, they all jumped off the pier and took cover while underwater. In impeding explosion, flaming wooden debris came flying all over the pier, setting a few dock houses on fire. Furthermore, several of the homeless ponies hiding in the dock houses started fleeing for their lives as several of them were caught on fire and fell into the waters below the docks. After the explosions stopped, the ponies in Applejack's team came out of the water and climbed up to a nearby pier as they shook off all the wetness from their fur coats.

When the ponies turned around to see the warehouse burning after they dried themselves up, a flaming severed head came crashing down straight into the pavement behind the pier. It was the head of the Minotaur Pirate Captain. As his head was covered in flames, his mouth was wide open with an "O" and one of his horns was missing. Upon seeing this, Rarity almost freaked out while Rainbow Dash started cackling like a maniac.

"OH YEAH!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!!!" Rainbow cheered wildly as she thumped on her chest with her hooves while in mid-air. "IT FEELS LIKE I'M ON FIRE!!!!!!!"

"Calm down Rainbow Dash," Rarity told the excited light-blue pegasus. "We still have 2 hours left before we blow this Purge over!!!"

"Rarity is right, Dashie," Pinkie added. "There's no time to celebrate any parties yet; not until we take Cheese and Rara to our fort."

As the ponies made their way up the stairs and left the pier, Rarity hears a beeping noise coming from her radio. The moment the fashionista stopped in front of the group, Rarity used her magic to take out her radio.

"Greetings darling what is it?" Rarity said as she responded through her radio. In just seconds, Rarity's eyes widened with shock, while sweating underneath her white fur coat.

"WHAT?? REALLY??!!! Okay I understand. Please hang in there, darling. We're on our way right now!!!"

"Rarity what is it, ah??" Applejack asked as her eyes widened with concern for her fashionista friend.

"Applejack, it's Twilight!!!" Rarity spoke to the group. "She said that the Black Death Gang is preparing to attack the Manefair Hotel while she is still in there!!!"

Upon hearing what Rarity just said, the entire group all gasped in horror, fearing for the safety of their purple alicorn friend who is still badly injured several hours ago.

"Let's not stand around any longer!!!" Rainbow Dash told the group before she flew ahead of the group. "Let's get those ruffians before they get Twilight!!"

As Rainbow lead the way, Rarity and Applejack ran ahead while Pinkie escorted Rara and Cheese all the way to the hotel.

5:09am......

After Twilight told Rarity what was going on back at the Manefair Hotel, she took out her AA-12 automatic shotgun and reloaded it with another drum magazine. As soon as the alicorn went back to the hotel lobby, she drew out her broadsword with her hoof and used her magic to move the couch up in front of the main entrance to use as cover.

"Fluttershy, get Coco and Babs up to our room," Twilight ordered the yellow pegasus, starling her. "If you don't hear from me in the next hour, don't come out of that room until the sirens start blaring at the end of the purge."

"O-Okay!!" Fluttershy whimpered as she lead the two earth ponies up the elevator. "Twilight, please be careful!!!"

After Fluttershy, Coco, and Babs Seed went into the elevator, its doors closed as they all went up to their floor. As for Twilight, she could hear evil cackling coming from outside of the hotel's main entrance. The moment Twilight went to the security office, she sees some of the BD gang members haul in a ballista aiming at the security shutters at the main entrance. It was a giant crossbow-like artillery weapon that is moving on four wooden wheels. They loaded the ballista up with a Missile that happens to be a huge arrow that is attached to a metal chain coming from the back of the siege weapon. The Missile had four hooks sticking in the back of its huge arrowhead. Behind the ballista, one of the gangsters is hold onto the level that'll be used to fire the siege weapon. Upon seeing this, Twilight's eyes widened in terror, assuming that their ballista will be used to take down the security shutters in a matter of minutes. As Twilight looked closer at the cameras showing the BD Ballista, she also sees the gangsters readying their weapons as they formed up in a line formation behind their missile siege weapon. Not wanting to stand around any longer, Twilight teleported herself back to the hotel lobby and aimed her AA-12 at the main entrance with her magic.

Outside of the hotel, the Black Death Gang Leader shows up right next to the ballista; he was a black unicorn dressed up in a green, grotesque-like suit, wearing a sickly, green gas mask on his face with a red cape and hood covering most of it up. Both his suit and his gas mask had disease-like features all over it and it was covered up in blood and light-green goo. Despite how disgusting their leader is while wearing that nasty costume, the rest of his fellow gang members did their best not to gross out, for it will disrespect the pride of their gang leader and his ambitions. Before the artillery crews could fire their ballista, the gang leader decided to make his announcement first before breaching the Manefair hotel and attempting to purge to purple alicorn of her sins.

"All right every pony, this is it," The BD Gang Leader announced as he spoke out loud to the group. "The end of the 3rd Year's Annual Purge is nigh!!! But despite that we have captured 35 homeless ponies to be purged by our contractors, we all still have one trick up on our sleeves before the purge concludes. Once we pull down those shutters from the entrance of the Manefair Hotel, we are to secure the place, loot the entire area, capture Princess Twilight for ransom, and kill any other pony that's not one of us in the area. Are you all with me?!!!"

Upon hearing their leader's speech, the entire Black Death Gang have all cheered in agreement as they stood by and getting ready to strike.

5:23am......

Behind the Manefair Hotel, Applejack and her group were able to reach the fire escape in the alleyways. Above the fire escape, they see one of the windows opened with a crack in its sills. As soon as they got closer, Rarity and Pinkie helped get Rara up the fire escape first, with Rainbow Dash flying up to the balcony of where the fire escape ladder is and helped pulled both earth ponies up to the window behind her. When Rara went up the fire escape, Rainbow lifted the open window up with her hooves, letting the frightened earth pony get inside the Manefair Hotel. As for Pinkie and Cheese, the two party ponies both walked up the wall with crawling spiders, without using the fire ladder, before they went into the window behind Rainbow Dash. As for Rarity, after she helped Applejack climb up the fire escape and into the hotel, she teleported herself right next to Rainbow Dash. Once every pony was inside the hotel, Rainbow closed the windows behind her before heading back to the hotel lobby, praying that Twilight will still be there.

From outside of the hotel, the BD leader gave the word to fire the ballista at the security shutters barricading the main entrance. The moment they fired their ballista, it shot out the missile and upon impact, the missile's arrowhead penetrated the shutters, with the huge arrow appearing behind the shutters with its grapples latched onto the surrounding the gaping hole that the missile just made. As soon as she sees it, Twilight started to pour all of her concentration at the main entrance, preparing to fire at will. In just seconds, Twilight sees the ballista's missile pulling the shutters away from the hotel's main entrance, making very loud, crumpling noises. From outside of the hotel, the ballista crew members were turning the crank, hauling the chain attached to the missile back to where they are standing at.

"Okay, guys!!!" Twilight shouted in a Royal Canterlot voice. "If it's me you want, come and eat my shitty lead!!!!"

Just before the shutters came down, Twilight's friends appeared right beside her. Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash took their positions all over the hotel lobby, concentrating their weapons directly at the main entrance, while Cheese and Rara went up the elevator recover.

"Are you all ready to finish this?!!" Twilight asked as she turned to face her friends before meeting the BD gang head on.

"Yeah!!! Bring it on, you wretched buckers!!!" Rainbow hissed as she aimed her bow and arrow at the entrance.

"Time ta slam those purgers up der flanks in ta next week, y'all!!!" Applejack sneered as she raised her riot shield and flail with her hooves.

"It's time to teach those ruffians not to mess with my dresses!!!" Rarity cackled as she aimed her sniper rifle at the main entrance.

"All right guys, we are to hold them off here until the clock strikes 7:00am!!!" Twilight told her friends as she sees the shutters come down completely when the ballista crew pulled it down with their chain-attached missile.

As soon as the shutters tore apart, taking down the main entrance with it, the Black Death Gang came charging through the hotel like a never-ending tide. The moment the Mane 5 sees the purgers in their sights, they all shouted as Twilight, Rarity, and Rainbow opened fire with their ranged weapons while Applejack slammed her riot shield into several of the gangsters and bashed them aggressively with her flail.

In an instant, Twilight blasted 4 gangsters with her AA-12, delivering shots that made their heads explode into a bloody mess. After Twilight ran out of ammo from her automatic shotgun, she flew up into the air and raised her magic shields to ward off returning fire from the gang's combat rifles, their hurling spears, and from their magic. In retaliation, Twilight shot out a huge ray of magic that disintegrated several more gangsters in one go. As soon as she landed on her hooves, Twilight drew out her broadsword and swiped at them up front. However, despite her fighting valiantly, Twilight could still feel a bit of pain and blood coming out from her head, hindering a bit of her concentration. It did not change the fact that Twilight's crippled state could hinder her ability to fight back right now. As she blocked one of the gang's sword with her blade, Twilight was met with a hoof grip on top of her head, making the pain from her wound swell up again and her blood flowing down to her right eye, ruining her eye contact. But before the gangster was able to finish Twilight off, Rainbow slammed into him with the shaft of her fire axe before she hacked his head off with it.

As soon as Rainbow chopped the gangster's head off with her axe, she swung it from underneath and slammed it into the groin of another BD gang member. Just when the gangster started screaming in pain, he was met with a strong hoof punch to the face by the female light-blue pegasus, knocking him over on his back before passing out. The moment Rainbow turned around, another gangster shows up and attempted to chop her up with her sword. However, Rainbow reacted quickly enough to slam both of her hind legs into the gangster's stomach, sending him flying as he tumbled over the reception before blacking out.

When Applejack slammed her riot shield into the BD gang members, she swung it at three of them and sent them flying out of the main entrance like they were rag dolls being hurled in different directions. As soon as one BD member attempted to thrust his spear at Applejack, the farm pony responded by slamming her flail at the side of his head, making him collapse on the floor with blood gushing out of it. As three more BD members charged forward at the farm pony, Applejack hit her front hoof to the floor and did a 360 degree spin with both of her hind legs, kicking them all in the face and knocking them all out cold with blood spilling from their mouths. As Applejack got up on all fours, she jumped up in mid-air and kicked one pegasus gangster in the stomach with her left hind leg, sending him flying straight up to the ceiling above the hotel lobby. By the time Applejack hit the floor again, she pounced onto a earth pony gangster with both of her front hooves, slamming him to the floor and leaving behind a big crack on the ground.

As Twilight disengaged from her last fight with the same gangster that almost finished her off, she teleported herself behind another couch, right where Rarity is, and hid behind cover while the fashionista fired several more shots with her sniper rifle. When Rarity opened fire with her sniper rifle, she made sure to make every shot count. After blasting 5 gangster ponies with her rifle, Rarity ran out of ammo for it and tossed it away. However, before any of the Black Death members are able to close in on Rarity, she drew out both of her blackhawk revolvers and blasted them with it as she unloaded a dozen bullets in close proximity.

Pinkie Pie took out a box full of cupcakes and hurled it at the oncoming purgers from the reception desk. Despite the cupcakes made for dessert, one of the purgers lost concentration towards the pink pony as he was met with barrage of pastries that covered up his face before he collapsed onto the ground. As for the other purgers, after getting pelted by Pinkie's cupcakes, they all fled like frightened little rats, dropping all their weapons and screaming like little girls!!!

"Bet you can't purge my cupcakes, losers!!!!" Pinkie laughed hysterically as she continued to hurl more cupcakes at the purgers. Before she knew it, Pinkie started looking up to the ceiling sideways, made a rooster face and started making a very loud, screeching crow that caused an ear-rape effect. "COCKA-DOODLE-DOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Upon seeing the pink pony causing such comedic, mischief with her party pastries, the gang leader marched forward towards where Pinkie Pie is, unaware of his presence, while raising his scythe with his magic and attempting to chop the pink pony's head off from her pink body.

"I hate parties!!!" The gang leader mumbled to himself as he prepared to attack Pinkie head on.

But before he could attack Pinkie while she wasn't looking, the gang leader was met with something that was randomly unpredictable. The moment the gang leader was 10 feet closer to Pinkie Pie, he felt a pressure plate coming from his front hooves, which is underneath the hotel carpet. As the pressure plate started making a creaking noise in the middle of the battlefield inside the hotel, a big spring appeared, sending the gang leader straight up to the ceiling. As he took flight upwards, the gang leader started screaming like as he hit his head on the ceiling before he crashed into the floor completely dazed. While incapacitated on the ground, the gang leader started seeing pink ponies running across his head endlessly. The next thing he knew is when Pinkie appeared right above his face, smiling in a exaggerating facial expression

"Hey purgy-gangy!!!" Pinkie Pie said as she stared at the dazed gang leader while unable to do anything. "How did you like my pressure spring contraption??!!!"

As Pinkie started laughing at the dazed gang leader, she was suddenly met with two hooves gripping onto her neck and the next thing she knew was that the pink pony was thrown into a nearby couch where Twilight and Rarity are taking cover at. Upon impact, the pink pony slammed her back into the furniture, making it tumble over in front of the purple alicorn and the unicorn fashionista. As a result, both ponies yelped as they see Pinkie hit the ground hard before she was unconscious. At the same time, the couch flipped over upside down with the unconscious party pony underneath it and its mass hitting Pinkie in the back. Upon seeing this, Rarity and Twilight both screamed as they see Pinkie Pie hurt her back while she blacked out.

"NO!!! PINKIE PIE!!!!" The two ponies shrieked as they went to Pinkie's side while under a state of panic.

"I always find most of her parties quite annoying to begin with," The BD gang leader smirked as he circled around the Rarity and Twilight. "Are you two ready to get purged??"

"I wish!!!" Rarity said as she was taken back by what the gang leader just said.

"Rarity, we only got 15 minutes left, let's end this once and for all!!!" Twilight told Rarity as she drew out her broadsword.

"Darling, you're too injured to be fighting anymore," Rarity complained, concerning for the health of her purple alicorn friend. "I'll take care of him."

"No, Rarity," Twilight protested against Rarity's suggestions. "I'm the one who started this foolish bloodbath. I'll be on the one to end it!!!"

"I like to see you try, Princess!!!!" The Black Death Gang Leader hissed as he charged forward at the two ponies.

Before Rarity could see what was going on, Twilight started lashing out her broadsword at the gang leader as he tried to raise his scythe up high to hold his ground against the alicorn princess. In an instant, Twilight made her move against the gang leader as she swung her sword at his head only to parry it with the scythe's shaft underneath its blade. Out of response, the gang leader made a sweeping horizontal arc at the purple alicorn only for her to teleport herself out of his range. As soon as Twilight appeared behind the gang leader, she lunged her sword at his face only for him to dodge it by an inch of his red hood. In less than a second, the gang leader swung his scythe in a vertical low-to-high strike from underneath Twilight's belly. Upon barely seeing it, Twilight lifted her left front and hind legs off the ground and flipped over to her right, just missing the scythe's blade by mere inches from where she was standing.

Suddenly without warning, the gang leader smirked at the purple alicorn. At the same time, Twilight's eyes widened with shock at seeing something that is not what she was expecting. The gang leader's scythe rotated its blade towards Twilight's exposed back while it was in mid-air thanks to his magic. In less than a second, the scythe slammed its blade right on top of Twilight's back piercing her exposed flesh and missing her spine inches from where it struck. Upon feeling the blade ramming into her back, the purple alicorn screamed as blood came out from her newly fresh wound and from her mouth. As the rest of her friends turned around to see Twilight in a more critical condition, their eyes widened with horror as they witness their purple alicorn friend collapsed onto the hotel floor onto her stomach.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! TWILIGHT!!!!!!" The Mane 5 cried in fear for Twilight.

"YES!!! Capture or not, you should be grateful that you'll be free from your tainted soul, Princess," The Gang Leader cackled. "Thanks for letting us purge in this year's tradition. Blessed be our founding father's and Equestria. A nation reborn."

As Twilight was struggling on the ground while trying to maintain her consciousness while being critically injured in the back and from her severe head injuries, she looked up only to see the gang leader take out a handgun with his magic and pointed it directly at her face. However, before he could finish Twilight Sparkle off, he was met with a very loud "Bang" that came echoing throughout the entire hotel lobby. It came from the direction of where Rarity was standing at. In such a surprising display, the Mane 4 and the remaining Black Death gang see Rarity aiming a revolver at the gang leader. It turns out that Rarity shot the gang leader in the head without hesitation. As a result, a splotch of blood came out of the gang leader's forehead before he fell to his left side. After seeing their leader die before their very eyes, the rest of the gangsters attempted to go after Rarity only to hear the sirens blare out all over the area. This can only mean one thing: The 3rd Year's Purge has concluded at 7:00am.

Upon hearing the sirens that concluded the Purge, the remaining Black Death Gang Members carried all of their wounded out as they leave the hotel altogether. As for the Mane 5, Rarity issued the following orders to the rest of the group.

"Rainbow Dash, get Pinkie and Twilight to the hospital!!!" Rarity told the light-blue pegasus. "They both need immediate medical attention."

"I'm on it!!!" Rainbow acknowledged as she unfurled her wings and zoomed straight out of the hotel entrance, grabbing both the critically injured purple alicorn and the unconscious pink earth pony with her to the hospital.

As they see Rainbow leave the hotel with Twilight and Pinkie in tow, Fluttershy came out from the elevator with Coco, Babs, Rara, and Cheese Sandwich following her from behind.

"Um Rarity?" Fluttershy asked in a scared tone. "Is it all over?!"

"Yes my darling," Rarity told the yellow pegasus. "We're safe from the purge, for now."

"I wish I hadn't came here in Manehattan," Fluttershy muttered to herself in fear. "Even if we did, I hope we can find a way to end this nightmare before it gets worse."

"Don't worry darling," Rarity replied as she comforted the frightened pegasus. "We'll work something out; I'm sure of it."

"Hey, y'all!!" Applejack shouted at the fashionista and Fluttershy while off screen. "Help me git the prisoners to the police station, y'all."

"I'm on it Applejack!!!" Rarity acknowledged as she head down to the storage room with Applejack.

Back in the storage room, Yeo finally woke up from his beauty sleep, feeling totally groggy and disoriented. The next thing Yeo saw was that he finds himself inside a storage room tied up in chains with a white gag covering up his mouth. Across from where he was, Yeo sees Suri Polomare muttering to herself in self-pity and misunderstood while being tied up as well. Before he struggled to ask what is going on here, the doors open before Yeo and Suri. Just when Yeo could see what was happening, he was immediately dragged by Applejack, Rara, and Cheese. As for Suri, she was escorted by Coco, Fluttershy, and Rarity out of the hotel to send her away from the place for good.

"Don't tell me, the purge is over already??!!!" Suri complained towards Rarity in anger that she could not get her revenge over the fashionista.

"Sorry darling, but now that the purge is over, there will be no more killing!!!" Rarity snapped as she glared at Suri with extreme prejudice. "Now get the buck out of my sight!!!"

After shouting at Suri, Rarity pointed her hoof towards the shattered main entrance of the hotel, ordering the hostile earth mare to leave at once. As soon as Suri disappeared into the sunlight, Rarity turned around and helped Applejack and the others escort an incapacitated Yeo Scotland to the police station to collect the bounty.

Meanwhile back at Canterlot inside Caleb's office, Caleb Warrens received word that Scorpion failed to kill Twilight Sparkle and her friends during the 3rd Year's Purge Night. As a result, Caleb pulled out a revolver from his fur coat with his magic and shot one of Scorpion's men in the head, ending his life out of anger and disappointment due to Scorpion's incompetence.

"I am very disgusted that you failed to kill that Princess during the Purge night, Scorpion!!!" Caleb snarled as he glared at the mercenary sergeant in a hostile tone. "What do you got to say for yourself???"

Despite Scorpion's stammering, Caleb raised his right hoof up and demanded silence.

"I don't want to hear your excuses mister," Caleb hissed as he slammed his hoof onto his desk. "You either hunt down and kill Twilight Sparkle during the next purge night or I find someone who will. Do you understand me?!!"

"Y-Yes sir!!!" Caleb stammered as he saluted Caleb before leaving his office, along with 3 of his remaining soldiers.

After Scorpion left Caleb's office, Caleb turned towards the window to gaze at the area outside of his office.

"That purple alicorn is even more better at saving lives from the purge that I thought she'd be," Caleb muttered to himself. "But no matter, I will try to plan better next year. In fact, I'll make it even more foolproof than ever. Not to mention that another political candidate is planning to save Equestria from us NFFE members as well. As soon as the next purge night begins, I'll sent all of my best hitmen and assassins to eliminate those two government officials in one strike."

"Caleb my dear," Chrysalis spoke in a soothing tone as she appeared from behind the corner in Caleb's office. "It seems that one of our guests wanted to speak with you through the magic mirror."

"Chrysalis, don't scare me like that!!" Caleb said taken back by the Changeling Queen's sudden reappearance. "Anyway, put e'm on screen."

As the curtains near Caleb's windows closed up, covering his entire office with darkness, the mirror lit up again revealing an angry Princess Celestia who is wrapped around in chains behind a stretcher. The moment Caleb got closer to look at the real sun princess, he started cackled and gloating at her, making Celestia even more infuriated than ever.

"So Princess Celestia," Caleb smirked as he gave out an evil smile on his face. "What did you think about the purge that we forced your dear prized pupil to enact against her will, huh?!"

"IT'S DISGUSTING!!!!" Celestia shouted in an angry Royal Canterlot voice. "You are never going to get away with this, Caleb Warrens. If I ever break free from this, I'm going to roast your flank up into the next millennium!!!! I mean, it's bad enough that you and your foul NFFE kidnapped me, Luna, and Cadence at Manehattan without Twilight attending there during our delegating meeting, much to instigating Queen Chrysalis' revenge. But to have the her changelings impersonate us before having Twilight enacted that despicable, decree at Canterlot two years ago??!!! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!! Because of that filthy purge, Manehattan has suffered from the deaths of more than 500 citizens!!!"

"My apologizes, your highness!!" Caleb sneered at Celestia. "But this is how we do our work to rule over Equestria while under a totalitarian court of government officials to keep all economy intact and to reduce the overpopulation of homeless fools. Since your foolish acts of kindness is costing us a fortune, we can't let you and Luna take advantage of us any longer and Twilight's Royal duties of Friendship is forcing us to dish out too much expenses to support those orphaned fillies at Ponyville and at Manehattan. So, it's my job to show that foolish purple alicorn the error of her ways for relying too much on her friends than rather just for herself. Farewell, Princess Celestia, it's been nice talking to you."

As Celestia's image disappears from the mirror, Caleb started laughing like an evil maniac before turning around to face Queen Chrysalis again.

"Chrysalis, at the start of the next purge, you go help out Scorpion dealing with Twilight Sparkle!!" Caleb told the Changeling Queen. "Don't fail me."

"Hey, this isn't about you either Caleb," Chrysalis sneered. "The only reason why I'm helping you out is because you promised me that I will have Manehattan turned into a Changeling Fortress once most of the homeless ponies are all eliminated there."

After Chrysalis makes her speech infront of Caleb, she enraptures herself in a green magical surge and teleported herself out of Caleb's office, disappearing from plain view.
