The Chronicles of Light II: An amulet, a matrix, and a certain blue box.
Over the next few days.......
Previous ChapterNext ChapterAgent Day was leaping from building to building, allowing her skills to do their work.
She was wearing a jet black Freedom Fighter uniform and helmet with her code name and rank badge on it.
She held the rank of Lt. Colonel. Her favored weapons were twin Solar gun-swords.
Her contact had told her and Agent Change to meet them on the rooftop parallel to Sugarcube Corner.
She jumped again and landed on said rooftop.
On the other side of the rooftop was another woman, she too wore an FFIA uniform, she had a name badge, but lacked a rank badge. She didn't wear a helmet, revealing her charcoal black skin and green eyes with black slits for pupils and purple hair.
Agent Change. An Operative. Her favored weapons were a black, poisoned dagger, and a jagged, charcoal black sword.
"Agent Change." Day said getting her comrade's attention.
"Day, how are you?" Change asked as the twor embraced.
"I'm well, you?" Day asked as she was released from the hug.
"I'm good, though the friendship games rematch rattled my sister a little, but, I told her she's the only one were my loyalty lies entirely." Change said.
"That's good, here's hoping that your queen doesn't declare war on the FFIA, I don't want to kill her, or you." Day said.
"Me too, though, you wouldn't stand a chance." Change jested.
"I doubt it." Day stated.
"Are you two done?" Asked a third voice.
The two agents turned to see someone wearing a strange armor. It fit around this tall man like a second skin. He wore a helmet that covered his face. The whole armor was stark black. They almost couldn't see him. His armor was decorated with some golden ornaments as well.
It was called Warframe armor, they come from a place called the Void in the video game, and dimension, of the same name. Wearers of this armor are called Tenno, masters of both blade and gun. Yet, The Pilot was simply that. The Tenno was an A.I that inhabited the suit.
"Your wearing your Warframe?" Change asked looking at the pilot's armor.
"Excalibur Umbra? Nice." Day complimented seeing as to that she had never seen her comrade wear a Warframe. "But no capes?"
"No Capes." The Pilot said sternly.
"Alright." Day said. "Why'd you call us here?"
"Command says Cons have been sighted in Canterlot." The Pilot said.
"Scrap." Day said. "Where?"
"Everfree Camp." The Pilot explained. "A mining operation. All Command knows is that they're working with Gumm-Gumms and they're not exactly mining Energon."
"What are they mining?" Change asked.
"That's what we are to find out." The Pilot said. "Ex?"
"Yes?" Asked the The Tenno.
"Just seeing if you were awake and ready." The Pilot said as the group continued to run across rooftops like Assassins.
Camp Everfree.
An orange sling-ring portal just opened and out of it came our Freedom Fighter Trinity.
"I don't see any 'Cons." Change said. "Where are they?"
"Hang on, scanning." Excalibur said. "Several signals coming from a large Antechamber under the lake."
"Under?" Day asked. Yet, she wasn't answered.
"How large?" Change asked.
"As large as this whole forest." Excalibur said.
No one said a word.
"Let's move." The Pilot said breaking the silence.
Then the three walked to the end of a wood pier. It was decorated with solar powered lights on red wood pedestals. The front of the boardwalk had a large sing hanging in the archway. The sign read CAMP EVERFREE.
The Pilot put his hand out over the water and used his telekineses to spread the water.
"I didn't know your Warframe could do that." Change said.
"It doesn't, I simply used the power I already had, this armor is powerful, but it doesn't have my powers." The Pilot said.
"Good to know, Yang." Day said. "Will you use any other powers aside from the Tenno's?"
"Probably." The Pilot admitted.
"Let's go." Day said as the three walked down the rocky terrain.
As they went deeper, The Pilot kept up an air bubble big enough for the three to walk, breath, and stay dry.
The Pilot, Yang, was silent as they walked along the rocky underwater terrain.
Change was admittingly impressed by it, being underwater, even with her experience.
Day was equally shocked.
Yet, no one broke the silence, lest they might break Yang's focus.
Eventually they arrived at the rocky bottom of the lake. Yang then waved his hand and spread the rock in the center of the bubble, forming a hole large enough for the three to drop in one at a time.
Day was first.
Then Change.
Yang was last. He broke his concentration as he jumped down the hole and closed it behind him.
They entered the antechamber. It was damp and dark, making it hard to see.
Change had a natural night vision. Yet Day and Yang had to activate their helmet's night visions.
Once they did, they were shocked by what they saw.
In the center of a gigantic antechamber was a giant bronze saucer with gold bumps decorating the hull. It looked as if it crashed here, based on how it was positioned. The stalactites and stalagmites hugged the ship, hinting that this ship was here for centuries. Maybe even millenia.
Yet that wasn't what caused the three to run to a nearby rock and hide behind it.
What is, was the Vehicons and trolls that littered the antechamber.
The trolls had black, rock-like skin that was decorated with green glowing lines on their bodies. They wore fearsome armor and masks, said masks had Viking-like horns on the side of them. They had red and yellow eyes of evil.
All FFIA members know of Gumm-Gumms. At least a thousand years ago in the Trollhunters dimension, these evil trolls rampaged on earth and ate thousands of humans. But, Merlin the wizard reached out to the more strong willed good trolls and gave them the Amulet of Daylight and created the Trollhunter. Deya, one of the legendary Trollhunters, eventually banished the evil Gumm-Gumms to the Darklands. But what are these Gumm-Gumms doing here, and why are they working with Vehicons?
The Gumm-Gumm trolls either held swords or spears and patrolled the area as the miner Vehicons attempted to cut the rocks holding the saucer in place. The miners had a dark pink hue compared to the dark purple warrior Vehicons. They also had two vizors instead of one. They were mining at the rocks, trying to get to the ship, and possibly, it's crew.
"This is gonna be fun." Excalibur said.
"I count twelve miner Vehicons, sixteen Gumm-Gumms, and ten warrior Vehicons." Change said.
"How do we approach?" Day asked.
Yang looked around the antechamber. The gears in Yang's head turned as he thought up a strategy. Eventually he pulled the Skana-a common sword in Warframe-off his back and gripped it in his hand.
"We fight, cause a lot of damage to their operation, kill as many badies as we can, and try not to die." Yang said simply.
"So, the usual?" Change asked casually as she drew her charcoal black, curved sword and Day drew her solar gun-swords.
"Yeah." Yang nodded.
Day's solar gun-swords were styled like cutlasses. The blades were orange and the gold guards had fire runes imbedded on the hilt. Below said fire rune was a strange metal tube. On the leather rapped handle was a small, silver trigger. This is where the "gun" in "gun-sword" comes in. This trigger and tube are a gun built into the sword, not only does the rune light the blade on fire if Day concentrates hard enough, but it powers the gun as well. If Day pulls the trigger, it blasts a small, bullet-like fireball.
Day charged at a nearby Gumm-Gumm.
Something that wasn't unnoticed by the spear wielding guard.
Day jumped and stabbed her swords into the guard's neck and pulled the triggers.
The guard's head exploded in a ball of flame.
This action made the other guards, Cybertronian and Troll alike, notice them.
"Here's Yang-ey!" Yang yelled as he jumped and stabbed an unsuspecting Vehicon warrior in the visor, killing it and making the body fall.
Yang flipped over the head as it fell and landed gracefully on the antechamber floor.
Then Change gripped her sword and attacked a sword weilding Gumm-Gumm, killing it with ease.
The warrior Vehicons transformed their right hands into blasters that the barrels glowed with red energy and the Vehicon warriors started shooting red lasers at the three.
"Scatter." Yang ordered.
All three of them ran in different directions, dodging the red blaster fire.
Day deflected some shots with her swords and fired her own at some Gumm-Gumms and Vehicons. She lit the magic swords on fire and dueled two Gumm-Gumm at once.
Then, a third one charged as she stabbed the one she dueled with her left sword. It sliced at her with an axe.
Day was thrown across the antechamber. Her helmet took most of the best blow for her, but, she will have one hell of a cut tomorrow.
"Day!" Change said as she disemboweled another Gumm-Gumm.
Yang took his Braton off his back and fired at a Vehicon that was gonna fire at her.
"Hey, Day, wake up!" Yang said pushing on her shoulder.
"Uuh, ow, every thing hurts." Day said as she woke up.
"Your alive, good." Yang said. "C'mon, round two."
The two helped Day get up as she picked up her solar swords.
Yang looked around, looking for the leader.
He found what he was looking for in the form of a silver and red Vehicon flyer. The silver and red paint job told Yang he was a part of Starscream's personal Armada.
Yang charged, dodging blaster fire and Gumm-Gumms trying to slice at him.
Yang returned the favor on each account.
His comrades followed suit. The Vehicons shot at the three Fighters.
"Let's move!" The Leader ordered. Then a Groundbridge opened behind him and his men ran though it. One of them was carrying some strange statues.
"Bye!" The Leader said as he ran through the Groundbridge and it closed behind him.
"Dammit." Yang said, seeing that his only source of info escape.
Everyone was silent.
Yang looked at the battlefield, bodies of Cybertronian and Troll alike littered it, yet the miners got away.
"What the heck is that ship?" Change asked, now focusing on the giant saucer in the room.
"Dalek attack ship." Yang said, scaring Day and slightly shocking Change.
"So, this is where the Doctor's dimension affects ours?" Change asked.
Yang nodded darkly.
"Well, buck." Excalibur said. "We gonna hafta fight any R2-D2 wannabes?"
"Possibly." Yang said. "Let's leave it for now."
"Hmm, it seems we can leave without causing attention." Change pointed out. "Groundbridge, or Sling-Ring?"
"Sling-Ring." Yang said. "I'm not in the mood to puke my guts out from Groundbridge disorientation."
"Okay." Change said.
Then Yang pulled out a small gold ring with a flat top and two finger holes.
After he put the left on his right hand, he brought his arms outward and started spinning his left hand in small, clockwise circles.
Soon an orange portal opened.
"After you." Yang said to his comrades once he new the portal was stable.
Day and Change walked through the portal, leaving Yang alone.
After a deep sigh he walked through and it closed behind him.
Over the next few weeks, Anon-A-Miss only gained power.
Secrets were spread ALL over. Arguments broke out everywhere, It wasn't just the Mane 7 Anon targeted. It was EVERYONE. Student and teacher alike. Only, the Mane 7 got the blunt of it.
Even Marc was getting teased when his true age was revealed. But, then they remembered he can make them nonexistent with a blink, so they stopped.
But, the teasing wasn't what Marc was worried about.
Marc worried that if Anon kept digging, she'd find the secret FFIA Database here. And the dirt on all the undercover agents, like Agent Day AKA Celestia, or Agent Change AKA Psithyra.
And that was bad, needless to say.
And do you know who almost the entire student body pretty much abused because of Anon-A-Miss?
Sunset Shimmer.
People need someone or something to blame in times like this. So, they chose the school's foremost former villain. But, Sunset was not with out protection completely.
When ever someone tried to hurt her, she'd just use her gifts from the spirit of the First Assassin, Crystal Empire Spymaster Emerald Edge. Mainly to escape from them. Even though they tried to hurt her, she didn't want to make them see her even more as a monster by hurting them.
Yet, sometimes even those were not enough. Ironic, it seems she was more accustomed to super villains, rather than high schoolers.
This was one such time.
She was in the hallway that she first encountered Twilight during the first Equestria Girls movie. She was on her knees, getting punched, a lot.
She was surrounded by several bullies she recognizes.
Hoops, Gilda, Dumb-Bell, Score, Snips, and Snails. Tempest just watched, playing ring leader.
"Time you got what you deserve, and no freshman for you stand behind now." Gilda sneered.
"How about a principal?" A voice behind the bullies said.
They turned to face the voice.
"Principal Celestia?!" Hoops asked shocked at seeing their Principal there.
She was wearing her usual attire, but, she had rings under her eyes, hinting she didn't get much sleep last night. Her cheek had a long cut on it, and she walked toward the group with a limp.
"Yes, now, I suggest you run along before I give you all detention for a week." The pearl skinned principal threatened.
The bullies all backed off at the thought of Detention. Run by the less merciful Vice-Principal Luna.
They all ran off to classes, leaving the principal and Sunset alone.
"Are you alright, Sunset?" Celestia asked as she helped Sunset off the floor.
"Yes, I'm fine, thank you, but how are you?" Sunset asked seeing her principal's cut.
"Oh, I'm fine just got on the wrong end of an axe." Celestia said. "Usual FFIA stuff."
"Oh, sometimes I forget your a Freedom Fighter." Sunset said.
"Well, I'm a principal first." Celestia stated.
"Can I ask you something?" Sunset asked.
"You just did." Celestia joked. "Go ahead."
"Do you ever....kill..anyone?" Sunset asked. "While being "Agent Day"?"
"Sometimes, if I need to, but it isn't easy." Celestia said. "I bet you know how that feels."
"What do you mean by that?" Sunset asked.
"Well, first, there was Sombra and the Templars, then there was Vor and the Grineer, then that Stalker, you cut off his leg." Celestia stated. "You have spilled some blood yourself."
"Doesn't mean I'm proud of it." Sunset said.
"Anyway, Marc wants you to stop by his house this Friday, but, till then please let try to be wary." Celestia pleaded.
"Alright." Sunset said walking away.
"I do hope she'll be alright." Celestia said to herself as she limped away.
