My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic: The New Member (Rewrite)

It’s been two weeks and no attacks from Sombra, Chrysalis or the minions.

The reason was because they were all working on a secret and powerful project in their ships workshop.

“Finally, our latest project is finally completed, and with it we’ll destroy those ponies and capture that unicorn.” Sombra said.

Chrysalis and the minions gazed at their project. It was a pokémon that had all created; a six feet tall, quadruped, chimeric Pokémon with traits from a variety of creatures. Its head is enclosed in a brown helmet with green markings, designed to suppress its power to stable levels. The helmet has a large jaw piece that wraps around the front with large, round hinges on the side.

Each hinge is covered by a green X-shaped marking. Small gray eyes can be seen from within rectangular black holes on the front, and there are two pointed ears on the top. Around the base is a collar with four protruding vanes that are tipped with a three-way spike. This collar has a thin green line between the vanes, and each vane has a green hexagon near the end.

An axe-like blade with a band around the middle extends backward from the top of the helmet. The front tip of the blade has a small, silver spike that hooks downward.

A mane of gray fur hangs from below the creatures helmet and covers its shoulders and chest. Most of its torso and legs is covered in short black fur. The lower half of each front leg is insectoid and green with spikes along the back, while the rear legs have thick purple scales on the flanks, shins, and on the top of the foot.

All four of its feet have three toes, but in the front two toes face forward and one backward. Additionally, the hind paws have a short, purple claw on the back of the ankle. Its fish-like tail consists of two dark blue spines with a light blue fin stretched between them. The top spine has a line of short, gray spikes.

It’s name was Type: Null.

“It’s simply beautiful, your majesty.” Swift complimented.

“Indeed,, now lets bring our beautiful creature to life.” Sombra pressed the reaper button and the large cage began to empty the water. Once it was all gone, the pokémon’s eyesnapped open!

It went crazy and broke open the cage with just one charge. “What happening to it!” Carla demanded.

“I don’t know!” Bronc stated.

Type: Null rushes out of the lab and down a long hallway with the villains in hot pursuit. Suddenly, It glowed pink and it disappeared!

“Where’d it go!” Chrysalis asked.

“Probably down to United Equestria.” Swift replied. “Now how will we destory those measly ponies?”

“Luckily, I created a backup plan Incase this failed.” Sombra replied.

“What is it your majesty?” Carla asked. Everybody gathered around as Sombra explained his plan. When he was done, everybody had sinister smiles on their faces.

Meanwhile, Jewel was out in he royal garden with all her friends, their majesties and Professor Brain.

They wanted to see what other powers Jewel’s dinosaurs hold. “Okay Jewel, sent out all the dinosaurs.” Grand Ruler said.

“Okay.” Jewel got out her Animal Staff and the dinosaur cards and said, ”STARFLEET SLASH! DINOSAURS RISE!”

Blitz appeared in battle mode and five other dinosaurs.

The second was nine high and thirty three feet long. It was yellow with long spikes running down its neck. Name: Amargasaurus.

The third one was lime green with dark green marking. It stood one two legs. It was seven feet high and sixteen feet long. Name: Fukisaurus.

The fourth one was purpose with purple and blue shaded plates running down its back and it had spikes at the end of its tail. It stood one four legs and at nine feet tall and thirty three feet long. Name: Stegosaurus.

The fifth was light brown with a large dome on its head with spikes on the side. It’s head was glowing rainbow colors. It stood at fifteen feet high and seventeen feet long ad on two legs. Name: Pachycephalosaurs

The sixth one was gray with pink highlights on the upper part of it body and it had a long sail down it back that was the color of fire. It stood one two legs. Standing at sixteen feet high and forty feet long. Name: Acrocanthosaurus.

The seventh one was light blue and stood one two legs. Standing at fourteen feet high and nine feet long. Name: Allosaurus.

The last one was blue with purple shading and has four flippers. Standing at twenty feet long and nine feet high. Name: Futabasaurus.

“Wowie!” Pinkie cried.

“Amazing!” Mykan stated. All the others added their own comments to the creatures.

“How are they looking Professor?” Celestia asked.

“Impressive, your majesty. These creature are incredible strong. Stronger than any monsters we’ve faced before.”

Everybody was astounded by this. Jewel turned them all back into cards and she swiped the cards again and they all turned into their chibi modes (same colors but smaller and the Fukisaurus stood on all fours.)

“Cute!” Fluttershy cooed.

Everybody chuckled at that. After that, Jewel and her friends went to Cake’s Café of some breakfast.

Jewel left her dinosaur cards and Animal Staff at the lab in New Canterlot, so Professor Brain could study them. He assured Jewel they would be well taken care for.

“Those dinosaurs were amazing Jewel!” Rainbow said.

“Yeah. All kinds of colors and elements. Who knew?!” Lightning added.

“Thanks guys. I just hope I meet some new pokémon friends. You know for Mareep and Rockruff.” Jewel replied.

“Don’t worry darling, you’ll find more friends for them.” Rarity reassured.

“Yeah. You’re right.” Suddenly, Jewel began to glow in dark aura. “Umm Guys. What going on?” she asked nervously. Just then, she vanished!

Jewel reappeared in steel cage with a anti-magic manacle on her horn, in a dark place with a lot of caverns and rocky peaks. She was told about this place, where all of Equestria’s eneimes were sealed away including Tirek.

“New Tartarus.” Even saying the name aloud gave Jewel the creeps. “Not good.” Jewel tried to pull in the cage bars but they wouldn’t budge.

Jewel knew that she had to get out of the cage and get back to New Ponyville. However, without her magic, Staff and cards, she couldn’t.

”Great. I’m trapped in a cage in New Tartarus without any clue how to get out or get back home. Now what?”

Back in New Ponyville, Lightning and all his friends were going frantic with worry. As soon as Jewel disappeared, they immediately search all of New Ponyville. Nothing.

Lightning wrote a letter to their majesties about it and they told everybody to meet at the palace at once.

Soon, everybody was there. “So Jewel simply glowed in a dark aura and disappeared.” Grand Ruler said.

“Yes, master. And we don’t know where she went.” Lightning replied.

“I hope she’s okay.” Starla added.

“We’ve got to find her before something bad happens to her.” Rainbow stated.

Jewel’s dinosaur friends whimpered, worried about their friend and owners safety.

“Don’t worry, we’ll find her.” Lightning said to them.

Everybody suddenly turned and saw a blue jay at the window. “Hi Mister Blue Jay, what are you doing here?” Fluttershy asked.

The bird chirped at her and she gasped in horror and shock. “What did it say Fluttershy?” Rainbow asked.

“He said that he saw Jewel in a cage at..... New Tartarus.”

Everybody gasped.

“New Tartarus! Why in the hotel bills is she doing there?!” Applejack asked.

“This smells like Sombra’s dirty work!” Pinkie cried.

“I believe you’re right, Pinkie, but why would Sombra sent her there?” Buddy asked.

“Well. That place is almost inescapable. Sombra must have sent Jewel there to keep her out of the picture.” Artie theorized. “That way it would be easier for them to destory us and capture her at the same time.”

The bird chirped again at Fluttershy. “Oh my.”

“What is it?” Starla asked.

“He says there’s another creature he’s never seen before and it was heading for New Tartrus!” Fluttershy replied.

Hearing that, made everybody nervous. “What did it look like?” Celesto asked.

“He said he didn’t get a good look at it.” Fluttershy replied.

“Well, What are we waiting for Let’s go get our friend back!” Rainbow stated. But before they could go the alarms sounded and Captain Shania burst into the throne room.

“Your majesties! There’s a dinosaur attacking the village!”

Mykan raced to the window and identified the dinosaur. It Harv a gray body with red markings going down it’s body. “That’s a Saurophaganax!”

“Let’s go!” Lightning snapped. Everybody really aced out the palace including their majesties to get the civilians off the streets.

Krysta was already in the village with her fairy soldier evacuating the ponies. “Come on, keep it moving!” Krysta yelled.

Th friends confronted the Saurophaganax. It growled and roared at them. “Let’s go!” Lightning called. Everybody charged forth.

Meanwhile, Jewel was sulking in her cage, thinking that she was never going to get out of it. Just then, something started pawing at her cage bars. Jewel jumped for a second and then looked at the creature. “What kind of pokémon are you?” she asked.

The Pokémon growling softly, “Type: Null is your name?”

Type: Null nodded. Type: Null roared softly again, “You were created by King Sombra!” Jewel cried. “But you escaped?”

Type: Null nodded again. “So what are you doing here?”

Type: Null did not respond. Instead, it raised it’s claw and slashed the bars of Jewel’s cage. “Woah…. you’re strong.”

Jewel stood up and looked around, “Now I've gotta back to New Ponyville.” she said then she sulked again, “Whichever way that is.” Type: Null could sense her distress and nudged her. “What is it?”

Type: Null nudged towards his back. “You want me to get on?” Jewel asked. Type: Null nodded and roared softly. “You know the way to New Ponyville?!” Type: Null nodded.

Jewel hopped onto his back and Type: Null began leaping from rocky peak to peak until they were out of New Tartarus and near the Dragon Lands. “Wow, you’re really athletic.”

“Now we have to go through the…. Gulp…. Dragon Lands.” Jewel has been told of the Dragon Lands and that the dragons living there did not take kindly to others in their territory, especially ponies. Type: Null growled softly. “You’ll keep me safe?”

Type: Null nodded.

“Well…. Okay. Guess we better get going then.” Type: Null walked into the Dragon Lands, a large mountainous area with volcanoes and lava pits for the dragons. Type: Null leaped over multiple lava pits, much to Jewel’s relief.

Everything was going smoothly, until…

“Hey! What are you doing here, pony?” a familiar voice called.

A large group of teenage dragons flew down in front of Jewel and Type: Null. Jewel recognized the leader of the group as Garble, a dragon that Spike faced before. “Umm.. we’re just.. Uh… passing through.” Jewel squeaked.

“You’re not going to be passing through our place.” Garble said while cracking his knuckles. Jewel gulped nervously. Type: Null growled fiercely at the large group. “Aww, is your little pet going to take us on?” Pee Wee challenged.

Jewel could sense Type: Null’s anger growing. She gently rubbed his back, “Easy, Type: Null.” she soothed. “Easy.”

“How about we show teach these two a lesson, boys.” Garble added. The dragons began to advance towards Jewel and Type: Null. It was about to charge them when Jewel claimed, “There’s too many of them buddy, you can’t fight them all by yourself.”

The dragons were getting closer. Type: Null roared loudly and leaped high into the air and raised it’s claws which glowed with massive amounts of energy. It slashed the first line of dragons before landing safely on the ground while the dragons fell to the ground.

“That was Dragon Claw!” Jewel thought. More dragons came soaring in from all directions. “Uh oh.” Jewel whimpered.

Type: Null waited until the last second to leap high into the air, causing the dragons to crash into each other. It came back down, covering itself in massive energy, it bashed into the dragons, sending them flying all over the Dragon Lands!

“That was Giga Impact!”

Garble was speechless and shocked. Type: Null landed in front of Grable and growled. “Alright! Alright! You can pass!” he cried.

Type: Null proudly walked pass Garble and out of the Dragon Lands. “That was awesome!” Jewel exclaimed. Type: Null blushed. Jewel noticed some dirt marks on it’s body. “Here let me clean-uh!”

Jewel thought of summoning a blanket to clean Type: Null but the only way she could do that was with her magic, which unfortunately was still blocked by the anti-magic manacle on her horn. Type: Null saw the pesky thing and raised it claw and gently used Crush Claw and slashed the manacle right off.

“Thanks.”

Jewel summoned a went rag and wiped Type: Null free of dirt. “There all clean.” Type: Null nuzzled Jewel with it’s control mask, making her laugh. “Down boy, Down.” Jewel said while laughing. “You’re just a big softie.”

Soon, Jewel’s stomach gurgle and growled loudly. “Oops, guess I should have eaten breakfast before all of this.” she said embarrassed.

Type: Null’s stomach growled too. “Sounds like you’re just as hungry.”

Jewel looked at the trees and saw some apples. Using her magic, she levitated them down to her and Type: Null.

But there was one small problem; how was Type: Null going to eat the apple with that control mask?

“How are you going to eat this?” Jewel asked.

Suddenly, she saw the control mask starting to crack and break. It completely fell off and it revealed a new pokémon.

It’s chimeric body is nearly identical to that of Type: Null; however, the fur from its head turns from gray to silver, and the membrane and spikes on its fish-like tailfin turn white.

Without its control mask, its mechanical, lupine head is revealed. Its snout is metallic on its nose bridge and upper jaw, both of which lead to a triangular black nose framed by three red lines. Its upper jaw ends in a sharply pointed overbite, while its lower jaw has two visible fangs, one on each side.

Its eyes have white sclerae, bright silver irises, and no pupils. These eyes are mostly surrounded by black coloration, framed along the bottom by its upper jaw. On each side of its head is a circular, metallic port, with a white circle crossed by a metal line.

The back of the crest on its head opens up, and three long spikes jut out of it. Its two ears, one on each side of its crest, are short and pointed, with black and red sections on their insides.

“Woah. You evolved into Silvally!” Jewel cried.

Silvally roared happily and nuzzled Jewel. Jewel gave it the apples and they both Steven happily and were soon back on the he road to New Ponyville.

They neared the Everfree Forest when they heard a massive ROAR!

“What the-! What was that?!”

Silvally growled angerly and Jewel saw why. “A Saurophaganax!”

Silvally raced to the scene as fast as it could. When they got there, they saw that it was chaos! Lightning and his team were on the ground and their suits were de-energized as well as the friendship ponies.

Only Mykan, Midnight and their majesties, who came when they saw the battle getting worse, were left.

“Not good. I’ve gotta help them but I don’t have my staff.” Jewel said to herself.

Then she heard little roars coming towards her. She turned and saw Blitz and her others dinosaurs coming towards her with the Animal Staff in their mouths.

“Guys! You got my staff!” Jewel laughed.

Blitz and the chibi Acrocanthosaurs that Jewel named Blaze gave her determined looks. “Alright, Let’s do this!”

Jewel tapped the lightning stone and fire stone, turning Blitz and Blaze into cards.

DINO-SLASH! PENTACERATOPS, ACROCANTHOSAURS! ROAR!

Blaze and Blitz roared and both charged the Saurophaganax. “Lookout!” Mykan cried. Their majesties saw them and scattered.

From there, they all saw Jewel safe and sound on an unknown pokémon. “Jewel! You’re okay. Thank the stars.” Celesto stated.

“So, who’s your new friend?” Midnight asked.

“I’ll answer tht later. Right now, I have a dinosaur to catch!”

Blitz and Blaze rammed the Saurophaganax repeatedly, making the already angry dinosaur, more agressive.

Blitz rammed the dino with his horns and tossed Saurophaganax into the air and Blaze leaped high into the high and smacked it with his tail, sending him crashing to the ground.

Jewel pulled out a lightning move card. ”LIGHTNING STRIKE!” she slashed the card and Blitz’s horns charged up with lightning. He launched a powerful current of lightning at the dinosaur. The dinosaur roared in pain from receiving massive damage and it turned back into a card.

“Alright Jewel!” Lightning cried.

“That’s the way!” Artie added.

Jewel returned Blitz and Blaze into their cards and back into their chibi forms. She’s went over and picked up the Saurophaganax card.

That’s when her friends came over. “That was amazing Jewel!” Rainbow cried. “You showed him what for!”

“Indeed. Now how about you tell us about you’re friend here.” Grand Ruler added, referring to Silvally.

“With pleasure, your majesty.” Jewel said and she’s explained everything that happens to her after she read teleported away. When she was finished the gang was shocked and concerned.

“This thing was made by King Sombra and Chrysalis?!” Pinkie cried.

“To destory us?” Starla added.

“That’s correct, ponies.” a voice sneered. Everybody turned and saw the evil duo.

“What are you doing here?” Lightning growled.

“To take back what’s ours.” Chrysalis stated. “And now our little project... destory those ponies!”

Silvally didn’t even move, much to Sombra and Chrysalis’s chargin. Instead just walked in front of the ponies and growled at the two. “What are you doing!” Sombra thundered.

Silvally charged the evil duo and yellow teeth-shaped sparks surrounded his mouth. He bit down on the duo and explosions consumed both of them.

“That was Thunder Fang!”

The duo growled irrablu that the fact that their creation wasn’t on the ponies side now. “YOU’LL PAY FOR THIS PONIES!” Sombra thundered as he and Chrysalis disappeared.

The ponies were amazed at the power of the pokemon. Silvally went over to Jewel and nuzzled her. “It appears this pokémon has taken a liking to you Jewel.” Celestia stated.

“Indeed.” Grand Ruler agreed.

“Looks like we have a new friend and ally in this war Jewel.” Lightning said as Jewel rubbed Silvally and he smiled at her.

In our next episode; The changelings first friendship lesson starts but it get a put on hold when Jewel is arrested for a serious crime that she didn’t but commit. The changelings have to find proof that their mentor is innocent before she’s sentenced to prison.
