My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic: The New Member (Rewrite)

One day, their majesties were getting ready to leave for a conference in New Cloudsdale and they needed someone to watch over their three year old twins; Castor and Leilani.

They were both white alicorns but Castor had a blonde mane and brown eyes while Leilani had a pink mane and violet eyes. They both each had only one horn and were both humanoid like, and both their names had the same meaning as their parents’ names “Heavenly”

Their majesties decided that the only pony who could handle them was Jewel.

“Are you sure you can watch them?” Celestia asked.

“Yes. Your majesties.” Jewel replied. Just then the royal twins came into the throne room chasing a blue sparkling ball. “It’s mine!” Castor said. “No it’s mine!” Leilani yelled.

“Children.” Celestia called. The children sighed as they thought they were in trouble again. “Jewel’s going to watch you two while we go to a conference. You two behave now.” Celesto explained. The children nodded.

“We will.” the children answered at the same time. “Alright then. We’ll be back.” Celestia said. She and Grand Ruler departed for New Cloudsdale.

“So what do you kids wanna do first?” Jewel asked.

“Play tag!” Leilani replied. Leilani tapped Castor. “You’re it!” Leilani then ran away. Castor chased after her. Jewel weekly jogged after the two small alicorns, chuckling.

Meanwhile, a lone card flew into the royal garden. The card glowed blue and a dinosaur appeared. It roared and saw the palace. The door was open so it decided to go in.

Sombra and Chrysalis saw everything! “That looks like a fine creature we could use.” Chrysalis said. Sombra agreed and called for their minions. “You called masters?” Carla asked.

“Yes. I want you three to go and capture this dinosaur and the royal twins as well.” Sombra said.

The minions were confused. “Why the royal twins?” Swift asked.

“Because being the offspring of our enemies they hold great power which we can use against them.” Sombra explained. The minions caught on and nodded at their masters and they teleported to United Equestria.

The children and Jewel were now resting in the throne room. “That was fun!” Leilani said.

“Yeah.” Castor added.

“So what should we do now?” Jewel asked.

“How about you hand over the children.” Jewel gasped and she looked toward the doorway and saw the minions. She immediately stood in front of the royal children. “What do you want?” she snarled.

“We want the royal children. So hand them over!” Swift demanded. “Never!” Jewel responded.

“Well then.... we’ll just have to take them by force.” Bron stated. The minions moved towards the ponies. “Jewel.” the children whimpered. “Don’t worry, I won’t let them get you.” she reassured.

Suddenly the dinosaur leaped in front of Jewel and the children. It was yellow and purple with a little hair at the top of its head.

“A Utahraptor!” Jewel cried. The Utahraptor turned towards Jewel and the children and nodded toward she it’s back. “You want ya to get on?” Jewel asked. The Utahraptor nodded. Jewel lifted Leilani and Castor into the Utahraptor’s back and then hoisted herself up. The children gripped her by the waist. “Hold on.”

The Utahraptor roared and charged the minions. They scattered out of the way and the dinosaur raced out of the palace and into the streets of New Canterlot.

“After them!” Bron cried. The minions flew out the palace and polluters the dinosaur and ponies. What they didn’t know was that Captain Shania saw and heard everything and she sounded the alarm!

The ponies creamed in terror as the dinosaur raced down the street. “Give it up, Major!” Swift cried. “You can’t keep them away forever!”

Jewel didn’t pay them any mind and the Utahraptor burst into the forest.

Meanwhile, the two teams, Spike, Krysta and their majesties were at the throne room and were shows the security footage. Their majesties were hyperventilating while Krysta and Spike tried to calm them down. “Easy sire, Easy.” Krysta said.

“It’s okay, it’s okay, your majesty.” Spike added.

“Do you know where they went?” Lightning asked.

“Last thing I saw was the dinosaur with Jewel and the royal children on its back, running out of the palace and into the streets, with the minions on its tail.” Shaina replied.

“Then we’ve got to get to them before the minions do!” Rainbow said.

“Then let’s go!” Lightning said. The ponies Andy their mejesties, once recovered from their ‘episode’, flew out of the palace and followed the dinosaurs’ footprints.

Meanwhile, the Utahraptor was walking through the forest with its three passengers. “Jewel, I’m hungry.” Leilani whined. “Me too.” Castor added. The two children haven’t had anything to since breakfast. Jewel looked around and saw two apples on a tree. Using her magic, when levitated the apples down to the two alicorn children. “Here you go.” Jewel said. “Eat up.”

Leilani and Castor devoured the apples and licked their lips. “Thank you.” they said at the same time. Jewel smiled at them.

Suddenly the Utahraptor hissed violently. “What’s wrong?” Jewel asked.

“Give up those children!” Jewel gasped in horror as she saw the minions in front the them. Jewel tightened her grip on Castor and Leilani, “Never!”

Swift charged the Utahraptor. “Hang on!” The dinosaur leaped high in the air and landed behind Swift and smacked him hard with its tail, sending him into a tree. Swift got unstuck and charged again. The Utahraptor claws him with its sharp claws, sending hi flying and crashing into Carla. “Alright. You wanna play rough huh?”
Just before he walked about to charge again. ”UNIFORCE” he was blasted by a large golden stream of power. “Lightning!” Jewel cried. Lightning and the two teams landed in front of the dinosaur while their Majorie’s went right fro their children. “Are you two alright?” Celesto asked.

“Yes, daddy. Jewel kept us safe.” Leilani said. Jewel rubbed the children’s heads.

“You really think your friends can save you now?” Carla scoffed. “I will get those children and that dinosaur!”

Their majesties stood in front of Utahraptor. “You will do no such thing!” Grand Ruler said. Utahraptor roared and hissed at the villains. Their majesties could see that it wanted to fight.

Their majesties lifted Castor and Leilani off of its back and gave them to Jewel. “Keep them safe.” they whispered and Jewel nodded.

Utahraptor roared and lunged at Carla actually knocking her onto her back. The it went after Swift and Bron. It whacked them hard with it’s tail. “Incredible!” Applejack said.

“It’s strong!” Artie added.

Utahraptor roared and rushed towards the minions it then it made copies of itself and surrounded the minions the cookies continuously rammed the minions. “That’s Ninja Attack!” Jewel cried. The ponies were amazed by the power and speed of this dinosaur.

The minions fell to the ground when it was done attacking. They all struggled to get to their feet. They knew they were beaten. “You’ll pay for this ponies!” Carla declared as she and her comrades disappeared.

Utahraptor roared, curled up and glowed light blue and it turned into a card.

Lighting caught the card. “Another dinosaur secured.” he said.

They all went back to the palace. “Jewel, we can’t thank you enough for protecting or children.” Grand Ruler praised. Jewel smiled sheepishly and blushed. “Oh, it was nothing.” she said.

“Well we disagree.” Celestia said. “In fact, I believe that you deserve a promotion, to First-Class Major.”

The ponies gasped in excitement. “Really?!” Jewel asked.

“Indeed. You’ve earned it.” Grand Ruler replied. The mane five surrounded Jewel in a group hug. “Welcome to the club, Jewel.” Rainbow said. Jewel giggled, “Happy to be here, Rainbow.” she replied.

In our next episode; Jewel decided to skip out of Hearth’s Warming Eve and the ponies discover the reason and try to make her feel better.
