My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic: The New Member (Rewrite)

It was morning in United Equestria. Everybody was returning after their regular patrols.

"All is safe, your majesties." Lightning reported.

"Very good, all of you." Celestia praised.

"How's Jewel's training?" Grand Ruler asked.

"She's become almost as strong as me. She's learned a variety of spells and battling moves." Lightning replied.

"Excellent." Grand Ruler said.

"It's amazing at how far she's come." Rainbow said.

Everybody agreed. Jewel started out as a frightened, powerless unicorn. Now she's become a powerful fighter, just like her friends.

"I wonder what new power she'll unlock." Fluttershy wondered.

"Only time will tell when that'll happen. For now we must keep an eye on Jewel, for who knows what Sombra and Chrysalis are planning." Grand Ruler warned.

Everybody nodded. That afternoon, the ponies was busy training; increasing their power and agility for whatever Sombra and Chrysalis would throw their way.

Meanwhile, Jewel walked out to the highest balcony and gazed up at the sky. She has come so far in the months she’s been on Starfleet but still, she was thinking about what she was meant to do. Sure she's defending the Dimensional Universe from evil, but she had a nagging feeling that she is meant to do more.

"Jewel." A voice called. Jewel turned around and saw their majesties, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence, all staring at her with slight concern.

"Jewel, is something wrong? Why are you out here all alone?" Grand Ruler asked.

"It's nothing....it's...*Sigh*....I've been having this feeling...that I'm meant to do more in our world. Like having a purpose." Jewel explained.

"Why this sudden thought?" Luna asked.

"It's just all my friends have a purpose in life, even my changeling friends. Everybody I know has a purpose....except me." Jewel turned back around and walked to the railing, then she began to sing;

Queen Celestia hugged Jewel. “You’re time will come.” she said to her. Jewel smiled at her.

Just then, a cage came over Jewel. “Wah!” The cgae began floating up into the sky and glowing. “Jewel!” their majesties cried.

“Help me!” Jewel cried out as the cage vanished. A note then floated down in front of their majesties. Grand Ruler picked it up and read it. “We must get the others.”

His wife and sister-in-law agreed and they went off to gathered the teams.

Jewel woke up in a dark cell to find herselves chaibed to a wall by her wrists and ankles by powerful , dark magic manacles. “Where am l?”

“You aboard our ship.” Jewel looked at the front of her cell and saw Sombra and Chrysalis’s minions. “W-What do you want with me?” Jewel asked in fear.

“Well at first we wanted your magic, but our masters figured out a way to get your friends magic all for themselves!” Swift replied.

Jewel gasped. “Some of my friends are immune to magic absorption.”

“That won’t be a problem for eh dark orb.” Carla said. “Now well finally get the power and respect we derserve.”

“Respect?” Jewel added. “Don’t you’re masters respect you?”

“Well if you call yelling at to do their bidding and suffering horribly for failing respect, then yes.” Bron explained.

“That’s not respect!” Jewel cried. “Respect is when you treat others with kindness and help themleaen from their mistakes.”

“How would you know?!” Swift asked angerily.

“Because my friends helped me learn it. And if you want, I can be you’re friend too?” Jewel offered. The minions thought about this. “Sombra and Chrysalis dont care about you three, they’re just using to get the power so they can get rid of you three in the end.” Jewel added. “Do you really want that to happen?”

Meanwhile back at the palace, their majesties have called the teams together and they discussed the note Sombra sent them when Jewel was taken.

If you eve want to see your little unicorn again, give me your magic!

Sombra

“Thank snake!” Lighting cried.

“What are gonna do?” Applejack asked.

“I r can’t give him our magic.”

“But if we don’t, Jewel’s done for!” Pinkie added.

“I believe I may have a plan.” Celestia replied. Everybody turned to their Queen. “What is it, your majesty?”

Everybody huddled together as she’s explained the plan. They were going to trick Sombra and Chrysalis into thinking they’ve given up thwir magic and then they’ll grab Jewel and defeat the two.

“Excellent!” Luna said.

“Well the Let’s get started.” Lightning said.

“Let us hope that Jewel is unharmed.” Grand Ruler added. Everybody hoped that their special buddy was okay.

The minions continued thinking. “... No, we’ll give this ‘friendship’ thing a try.” Swift said. Jewel smiled.

Just then, they all began glowing and disappeared in a flash. They repaired in New Canterlot Village. All the ponies were evacuated only leaving Lightning, his team, the friendship ponies, Spike, Krysta and their majesties.

“Guys!” Jewel cried happily.

“So have we reached an agreement?” Sombra asked.

Let her go Sombra!” Lighting demanded. “We are not giving you out magic.”

“Fine then. Guess we’ll have to do that this the hard away.” Sombra and Chrysalis snapped their fingers and the He dark or blue appears. It sends out a wave of dark magic and it hits the gang they feel their magic being taken away. “No! Guys!” Jewel cried.

When it was done, they all fell to the ground, their eyes rumored with gray asmnd they all felt extremely weak.

“HAHAHAHA!” Sombra laughed as the dark orb gave him and Chysalis the magic they’ve stolen. “Time to finished you.”

“No!” the minions sudddenly jumped in and grabbed the gang and Jewel and they sipped off to the royal palace. “Traitors!” Sombra cried.

Once at the palace, the minions freed Jewel. “Now what?” Jewel asked.

“There is only one pony who defeat them now.” Grand Ruler said. “And that pony is you Jewel.”

Jewel gasped in shock.

In our next episode; Jewel prepares to face the most important battle of her lied and she gets some help from some of her reformed friends.
