My Brave Pony: Starfleet Magic: The New Member (Rewrite)

One day, the ponies were in at new Canterlot for a meeting with their majesties. They said they had something special for Jewel. "Thank you for coming everybody." Queen Celestia greeted.

"What is it, Master?" Lightning asked.

"This is a matter involving Jewel." Grand Ruler replied.

"Me?!" Jewel asked.

"Yes, we've made something for you Jewel to help you get to missions and emergencies faster." Queen Celestia add. "Bring it in, Professor!"

The main doors to the throne room opened and Professor Brain came in pushing a magenta, torpedo-shaped vechicle. It has a small cockpit for the pilot, two fins on the side and a fin on the back. It's tail looked like shark's.

Everybody looked at it in awe and wonder.

"Woah, what is it Professor?" Lightning asked.

"This is Jewel's new vehicle." he responded.

"It looks like a pink shark." Pinkie commented.

"Me and they're majesties designed this baby, for any kind of terrain." Brain added.

"Even space travel?" Rainbow asked.

"Indeed. This vehicle won't be effected by the teleportation powers of the dimensional universe."

"Incredible Professor!" Buddy exclaimed.

"And I also made this little backpack for you too Jewel." Professor Brain handled Jewel a pink, square-shaped backpack. "It has all kinds of tools that can prove to be helpful as well."

"Thanks." Jewel praised, "So when can I try this puppy out?"

"You can try right now in the throne room." Grand Ruler offered.

"Yeah..!!" Jewel cried.

"Make sure to drive safely and carefully!" said Grand Ruler.

"I will." Jewel replied. She climbed into the vehicle and started the engine. It floated about seven feet off the ground, Jewel pushed on the controls and it moved forward really fast. She did loops and sharp turns all around the throne room.

"YEE-HAW! THIS IS AMAZING..!!!" she cried. She drives the vehicle out of the throne room while the others laughed softly.

“I think she like it.” Pinkie teased.

“Now she’ll have a faster way to get to emergencies.” Artie added.

Suddenly, the alarms went off and Captain Shania burst into the throne room in a panic. "Your majesties! Your majesties!"

"What is it captain?" Celestia asked.

Shania caught her breath. "The New Ponyville dam broke somehow and the waters heading right towards New Ponyville!"

Everybody gasped. If they don’t stop the water and fix the dam, all the water would rush out and wipe out everything in its path for miles-- Towns, forests, farms, and all. Even with the force fields activated it wouldn’t be good. The water would still weaken the foundations and soggy up the lands. "Come on, let's go!" Lightning called.

"STARFLEET MAGIC!"

“HARMONY HOUR, FRIENDSHIP POWER!!”

The ponies flew out of palace and approached the dam. There was a huge crack in it and water was gushing out! The gang landed about seven yards from the raging water.

"We've got to stop the water!" Lightning cried. He and his friends unleashed their attacks.

UNIFORCE"

“STAR SHOWER”

“LEAF SWARM”

“PAINT BOMB”

“DRILL QUILL”

“BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS”

All of the attacks hit the water..... but they had no effect at all. "Try again. More power!" Lighting ordered. Lighting poured all his power into his horn and his friends powered up their finishing attacks and fired again....

“UNIFORCE”

“GALACTIC PROJECTILE”

“WHIPLASH STRIKE”

“SUPER STAFF SPIN”

“THRASH SLASH”

“BOOM-BOOM FLARE

....The attacks combined with the water but it had no effect again. "Not good! We need a bigger force to stop this." Starla stated.

Such force has arrived. "Look!" The gang saw Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia arriving on the scene with the rainbow rod in hand.

"We are here to help." Celestia stated.

The two royal alicorns combined the rainbow rod and transformed into Grand Celestial Ruler. The Ruler flew in front of the ponies and fired "MYSTIC LIGHT" at the water but like the last two times, it had no effect. The ponies were shocked.

"What now?" Dyno cried.

"Look out!" Myte cried. Before the ponies knew it, the water swallowed them up and carried them along.

Back at the palace, Princess Luna, who saw everything, was desperately worried, especially after what what happened. Jewel drove her vehicle into the room, "That was cool!" she exclaimed. She saw Princess Luna by the palace window with Goldwin.

"What's wrong?"

"The New Ponyville dam broke and the water is heading straight towards New Ponyville. Lightning and the others, including my sister and her husband tried to stop it but it seems that the water is immune to their powers." Luna started, "And now they're trapped in the raging current." Goldwin finished.

"Oh no!" Jewel cried in horror.

"Now there's no way anypony can stop the water and save them. The current is too strong. There's has to be something that can do both." The three of them thought long and hard until, "What about Starburst?" Jewel asked.

"Who?" Luna asked.

"The vehicle Professor Brain and their mjeaties made for me. Brain said that it could handle any terrain. I think it's time to see if it's really true." Jewel added with determination.

Lightning and his friends were struggling to stay float, clinging to The Ruler with all their strength. "Hold on everyone!" The Ruler cried.

"Galloping Galaxies! What are we gonna do?!" Lightning cried. Just then, the gang saw an torpedo-like vehicle heading their way.

"What in United Equestria is that?" Rarity asked. The ponies looked closer and saw a familiar pink alicorn driving the vehicle. "JEWEL?!" Jewel circled her vehicle above the gang, deactivated the sturdy glass dome around her and called out, "Don't worry guys, I'll get you out of there!"

"Hurry! We can't hold on much longer!" Starla cried. Jewel stood up. The ponies saw a pack on Jewel's back and one side opened up

"Lasso out!"

A lasso came out and Jewel grabbed it. Placing her backpack safely in Starburst, Jewel placed the rope in her mouth.

“Well here goes nothing.” she thought.

Jewel leapt off of Starburst, heading right for the water. Suddenly, a light blue beam hit her from out of nowhere as she changed;

Her arms turned into fins and her legs and tail merged together and become one tail. A dorsal fin appeared on her back and her muzzle grew long. Jewel had turned into a dolphin. Her dolphin form was aquamarine time dark blue fin tips.

Jewel dove into the water, with the rope in her mouth and she swam around her friends, tying the rope and tightening it. Jewel leaped out the water again and changed back into her normal self and she sat back down in the cockpit and activated the dome. Jewel pushed hard on the controls.

“Hang on guys!” Jewel called. Starburst sped off, the ponies were yanked out of the raging water and into the sky.

"WOAH!!" they cried.

Jewel flew all the way to New Canterlot and set the gang down in the royal palace garden. Jewel flew back towards the raging water which was almost at New Ponyville.

"Let’s do this" she thought.

Jewel drove Starburst into the water and began driving in a circle, gaining speed with each one. Soon, the water began to spin around as well and it made a huge water spout. The ponies saw this from the royal palace and were shocked.

"Incerdible!" Grand Ruler said.

"Cool!" Lightning added.

Jewel managed to move the tornado inside to the broken dam while at the same time used her magic to floated the dam's broken pieces back into place, repairing the dam. When it was conpletely fixed, Jewel stopped circling and let the water fall on the other side of the dam.

Jewel flew back to New Canterlot where her friends were waiting. Jewel exited Starburst and her friend immediately praised her about her actions.

"That. . . was. . . AWESOME!" Rainbow dash exclaimed.

"Nice transformation sugarcube ." Applejack complimented.

The Ruler defused back into Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia.

"Very good work Jewel. You saved New Ponyville from what could have been a major disaster." Grand Ruler stated.

Jewel blushed in embarrassment.

"Hehe. It was nothing."

"That's not true Jewel, you saved the town and us." Lightning replied.

"Awww, guys, you're embrassing me." Jewel replied. The ponies laughed.

Later that afternoon, an investigation of what happened brought up surprising results.

"Swift broke the dam?!" Jewel cried.

"Indeed. The video shows him smashing the dam until it broke." Celestia answered.

"But why would he do that?" Starla asked.

"That is unknown." Grand Ruler said.

"For now, we must continue to be vigilante, who knows what Sombra and Chysalis will throw our way next." Celestia warned.

In their spaceship, Sombra and Queen Chrysalis were watching Jewel through their dark orb.

"She does have powerful magic indeed," Sombra said, "Magic we must have."

"Yes. And we will not stop until that unicorn and her magic are in our hands." Chrysalis added. Sombra and Chrysalis laughed wickedly.

In our next episode of Starfleet Magic; The ponies find out that Jewel never had a birthday celebration before.
So they decide to give her the best birthday ever.
