Tale Of Silent Night

Fluttershy and Silent Night both smiled as they made their way to the orphanage. For both of them, it was a new chapter in their lives. As they entered the orphanage, Fluttershy began to tremble.

“Are you ok Mom?”, Silent Night asked his surrogate mother.

“Yes, honey, Mommy is ok. I’m just nervous”, she said back.

They both went up to the front desk, and were immediately greeted by a purple earth pony.

“Hello, welcome to Ponyville Orphanage, my name is Happy Heart, how may I help you?”, she said with a smile.

“Hello, my name is Fluttershy, and I want to adopt a foal”, she said nervously.

“Alright, do you have the foals name?”, she asked.

“Well, he’s right here”, she said, pointing to Silent Night.

“Hmm, I’ve never seen this colt, where did he come from?”, Happy Heart asked.

Fluttershy told the story of the past three days, noting the circumstances. By the end, Happy Heart has tears.

“Oh my, that’s just heartbreaking! If you’ll just register him, then you can seal the adoption”, she said, pulling out a form.

Fluttershy singed the form and waited for the next one.

“Alright, now just sign this, and he’ll be your adopted son”, she said with a smile.

Fluttershy looked at Silent Night, who smiled back. Her decision was a no brainer.

Fluttershys singed and handed it back to Happy Heart.

“Congratulations, you’ve adopted Silent Night. May your future be bright”, Happy Heart said with a smile.

“Thank you”, Silent Night said to the worker.

“Your welcome, but I’m not the one who you should be thanking”, she said, looking at Fluttershy.

“I’ve already told her thank you, ma’m”, he said with a smile towards his new mother.

Happy Heart nodded and the new family walked off.

Happy Heart just smiled,

“I just know those two are perfect for each other”, she said.
