While in the Redwood Forest, it was just like the Redwood Forest in California which I've never visited here before. But these Redwood Trees are taller than modern day Redwood Trees, and the tree trunks are as wide as eighteen wheeler trucks.

"This doesn't look like a Redwood Forest to me." Nick says, "I'd been there when I was little."

"These trees are enormous." James says,

"You know, I don't like bigger things like this including the T-Rex." Kelly says,

"Don't worry; we won't climb these things." James shiver. "I hate heights."

"I didn't know that Late Cretaceous Hell Creek has Redwood Trees." I say, "Maybe I should study more."

"And if they had apples, I'm not sure if I could buck them so hard." Applejack says,

"They're conifers, AJ." James says, "They don't have fruit."

"Well they have pine cones." Pinkie says,

"Actually, they do have fruit called Arils." Nick says,

"I'm no scientist." James says, "But you have a point."

"Speaking of which, where are those long necked dinosaurs anyway?" Kelly asks,

"They're called Sauropods, Kelly, and they're not around here in Hell Creek." I say,

"Oh."

Lauren walks over me. "Brandon, can I tell you something?"

"Yeah sure." I say,

"I heard you and Twilight talking about what Celestia and Luna does by 'raising the sun and moon'."

"Oh yeah. Celestia's job was to spin and orbit the planet in order to make sure that the planet is in the perfect orbital location to support life, and to generate the magnetic field which will protect us from solar winds; and Luna's job is to make sure the planet's tilt is more stabilized as Earth, and to make tides in order to help marine life get its new habitat."

"So whatever they did it, they didn't 'raise the sun and moon', but they control the planet?"

"Yes. Because making us think that the sun and moon are orbiting around the planet is just silly, but in real life, the sun is in the center of the solar system. However, now that Celestia and Luna are captured by the aliens, the planet starts to die, and we're extinct."

"So the aliens came here for not love, but for the genocidal of the pony race? But why?"

"The Arcturians, as this here is their home world, are at war with Chrysalis's species just like what happened sixty-five million years ago."

"Not unless we can defeat her."

"But I thought the bacteria will keep us safe."

"Why?"

"Well technically, their immune system is different from ours, and it works on microorganisms on their home planet, but vulnerable to other bacteria on different planets."

Lauren chuckles. "You know it's just a movie. Bacteria won't kill you; they're just tiny organisms that provide life."

"What about the T-Rex's saliva? Nothing can resist its septic bite."

"Well during the attack on Canterlot, Chrysalis got bitten a bunch of times by that T-Rex, but she's still alive for a couple of hours or days."

"Well I'm guessing they'd developed some sort of special immune system against all bacteria from different planets."

"Yeah I guess you're right."

Just then, we came to a stop when Spike smells something. "Did you guys smell that?"

"Smell what, Spike?" I ask,

"It smells like chicken to me."

James, Rebecca and Pinkie laugh.

"Oh knock it off, guys."

"What kind of dog smells chicken?" James laughs,

Rarity was standing with a tree behind her. "If I see a dinosaur that can cook a chicken, I will leave this place alone."

I turn to Rarity. "That's not funny."

But then, I see something hanging on a tree trunk like a squirrel behind Rarity. It was like a man sized bird, but with claws, no beak and has a tail. That's a Dakotaraptor!

"Rarity, watch out!" I shout,

But Rarity ignores my warnings thinking that I'm joking with her. "I'm not following for that." She crosses her arms,

"Rarity, to me honest, there's a dinosaur hanging on a tree behind you."

Rarity turns back and look up. She gasps as she sees a Dakotaraptor hanging on the tree. As Rarity is about to run, the raptor jumps off the tree, and lands on Rarity.

"Rarity!" Lauren shouts as she runs over the raptor trying to save her friend.

Just before the Dakotaraptor is about to slash Rarity's neck with its killing claws, Lauren shoves the dinosaur off of Rarity.

"Get away from her!" Lauren groans at the dinosaur as Rarity runs over Pinkie hiding behind her.

The raptor gets up, and it screeches.

"I hope you know what you're doing." Rebecca says,

The raptor turns back, and then it runs off.

"Where's it going?" Twilight asks,

The raptor's not giving up; its sending its pack. "I don't like it. Everybody, follow me." I say,

We turn towards the opposite direction of the raptor's, and we run down the forest to get away from the predators.

We’re been running through the forest for a while in order to make sure that the raptor pack won’t hunt us.

“Where’re we going?” Rainbow asks,

“We got to make sure that they didn’t see us.” I say,

Applejack looks back. “I’m sure they found us.”

We look back while running. A pack of raptors is on to us, but they’re further away behind.

“I hate being wrong.” I say, “Keep going!”

We run across a large log bridge all the way across the stream.

As we run to the end of the bridge, James stop at the end of the bridge, and grabs a long stick. “You shall not pass!” He stomps the stick on the log, but nothing happen.

Applejack runs back over him. “Stop screwing around, and run!”

James and Applejack regroups with us. “I shouldn’t watch too many movies.”

Within about twenty seconds of running through the forest, we come across a large boulder ahead of us.

“Only thing we can do is to fight.” I say,

“With what?” Kelly asks,

I pick up a long thick stick. “With these!”

We climb all the way up to the top of the boulder carefully as the raptors draw closer.

“Come on!” Kelly says,

One of the raptors bark, and then one starts climbing.

“Now throw rocks!”

Rebecca and Pinkie stood up, and they throw rocks at the climbing raptor until it falls off.

The big alpha raptor hisses in anger, and then two more raptors climb. One raptor knocks off while the other made it to the top.

“Batter up!” Rebecca says with her stick.

As the raptor charges towards her, Rebecca swings her stick at the raptor’s side, and then it falls over the edge.

We cheer for victory, but the Dakotaraptors aren’t giving up without a fight as they split up, and they circle around our fortress.

“What’re they doing?” Nick asks,

“They’re smart, but not smarter than us.” I say. The smartest dinosaur was the Troodon, but they’re not as intelligent as us.

After the raptors stand in different sides, and then they climb.

“Split up!” I say,

We slit up into four groups to defend against those carnivores. The first group is Lauren, Rarity and Twilight; the second group is Pinkie, Nick and I; the third group is James, Rainbow and Rebecca; and the fourth group is Fluttershy, Applejack and Kelly.

As the raptors are half way there, we throw rocks at them, and one of them falls off except the alpha raptor. The alpha raptor, where Twilight, Rarity and Lauren are, reaches the top, and we grab sticks to attack the predator.

James screams while charging towards the alpha, but it jumps over him, and he turns around. “Shoot!”

“Hey! Why not eat this!” Rainbow swings her stick at the raptor, but avoids it. She smiles nervously. “No hard feelings.”

The raptor snaps its jaws causing Rainbow to startle and drops her stick.

“Hey dino-bird.” Rebecca says,

The Dakotaraptor turns to her.

She is holding a large rock. “Get extinct you mother-trucker.” She throws the rock towards the raptor, but it lands right in front of its feet without touching them. “I knew I shouldn't listen to my mom’s warnings! Never throw heavy rocks.”

The raptor walks towards Rebecca as she’s trapped near the ledge.

“Hey you!” I say,

The raptor turns at me.

“Not smart enough, huh?” I taught, “We’ll see about that.”

The raptor jumps towards me, but I dodge it, and then it falls over the edge.

They cheer on, but then Rebecca slips over the edge, and she hangs on to it.

“Rebecca!” Nick runs over Rebecca, and grabs onto her hand.

The raptors are below her ready to feast her alive.

“Rebecca, give me your other hand.”

“I-I’m trying.” Rebecca cries trying to reach her other hand,

“Well don’t just stand there.” I say, “Help them!”

Rainbow and Lauren runs over them, and they grab onto Rebecca’s other hand. “I got you, Rebecca.” Rainbow says,

Suddenly, one of the raptors bite Rebecca’s shoe.

Rebecca panics. “Get your jaws out of my shoe you stupid lizard!”

Just then, four Pachycephalosauruses show up, and they head butted the raptors including the one who grab onto Rebecca’s shoe.

As they pull her up, the raptors retreat.

“Rebecca, are you okay?” Nick asks,

Rebecca hugs Nick. “Thank you.”

Pinkie runs over Rebecca for a hug. “Don’t do this to me, Rebecca.”

As they stop hugging, I turn to the Pachycephalosauruses who saved us from the Dakotaraptors, and they walk away to find some food. “It looks like the Pachycephalosauruses got our backs.”

We climb down the boulder.

“That was fun.” Rainbow says,

“Promise me we’ll never do that again.” Rarity says,

“Promise.” The rest of us say,

I see a will-o-wisp to my left into the trees, and then it flies left towards the other side of the boulder. “Okay, everybody. Onward to adventure!” I follow the will-o-wisp’s path while the others follow me.

Now that they’re almost there to Celestia’s mother’s location after they fought off hungry Dakotaraptors. What happens next? Find out on the next chapter.

Also, I put the reference of Lord of the Rings when James stop at the end of the bridge, and then does the thing, but it won’t stop the raptors just to make the audiences laugh.
