We keep on running down the hallway as we uncloak. One alien Draco and one alien heavy soldier shows up from the door to the right ahead of us. Starlight takes out the Draco while Thorax takes out the heavy soldier (but not before disabling its personal shields). We jump over their corpses, and then we come across a T junction.

“Which way do we go?” Starlight asks,

We hear several alien noises coming from the left branch. I believe there’s an ambush to the left.

“Let’s turn right.” I say,

We move right down the hallway branch. Just then, four alien heavy soldiers appear in front of us, and one of us take out the three, but there’s one left.

Starlight opens the door right next to us where it leads inside a small room. “Through here.”

We jump through the door before the last alien soldier fires it plasma rifle. I close the door behind us, and I jam it with using my plasma pistol.

“There. That’ll keep them busy.” I say,

We’re inside a small cone-shaped room.

“What is this place?” Starlight asks,

“It’s some kind of cell.” Then I realize we’ve been jumping into a trap. “Oh great! Nice try, Starlight.”

Thorax looks up at the wall. “There’s an air-duct over there.”

We look at the wall where he’s been pointing to see an air-duct.

“Good thinking.” I turn to Starlight. “Starlight, can I give you a boost?”

Starlight walks over the air duct. “Sure.”

I grab Starlight’s legs, and I lift her up to the duct’s height. Starlight grabs the air grille, and she pulls it off.

“Can you climb it.” I ask,

“I think so.” Starlight says,

Starlight crawls through the air vent.

“Now my turn.” Thorax says,

I lift Thorax to the air vent, and then he crawls through it. With my grappling hook, I grapple the ceiling, and the winds up to the air duct’s height. I jump to the ledge, and I crawl through the air vent.

“Okay, Starlight; you lead the way.” I say,

We follow Starlight through the vent by crawling right through it. We turn right, and then through the vent.

“What kind of air do they breath?” Thorax asks,

“Oxygen, but not too much.” I reply, "Their planet is barren compare to Earth, and has no ozone layer, but the planet's fauna including the aliens can survive this environment."

“What am I!?” He cries,

Starlight laughs. “Well you didn’t look ‘alien’ to me.”

“How can you tell?”

“You look more like a human, and less like an insect.” I say,

“You didn’t tell me that I was born from an extraterrestrial monarch.”

“Sure we did.”

“Oh, I forgot.”

“Let’s keep it together, guys.”

Suddenly, Starlight came to a halt, and we stop behind her.

“What is it, Starlight?”

“There’s another shaft beneath me.” Starlight replies,

Suddenly, Starlight falls straight through it.

“Starlight!” We yell,

We jump through the shaft, and we land on the floor. Starlight must’ve landed on the Elite Grey alien on her back.

“I’m okay.” Starlight chuckles nervously,

“Pew. For a second there, I thought you were eaten alive.” I say, “Oh wait, they don’t need to eat us without alcohol. Never mind.”

I help Starlight up.

“So, now what?” Thorax asks as he shoots the Elite Grey with his plasma pistol as it struggles to get up.

I turn back where the hallway leads to the right at the end. “Let’s head that way.”

We walk down the hallway, and turn right... we came to a halt when an Elite Draco shows up ahead of us.

I laugh nervously. “You know...” I shoot the Elite Draco again and again until it dies. “Let’s go.” I whisper,

We move down the hall, and at the end of the hall, we hide behind the wall where it leads to the left. I turn to the corner; it leads into the Throne room where Twilight and the others are inside one of those tubes in captivity.

I turn to Starlight and Thorax. “Any bright ideas?” I whisper,

“I’ll distract her.” Thorax whispers, “While you cloak, get the staff, and get the others out of here.”

“Okay.”

“I’ll stand on guard.” Starlight whispers,

“Good.” I cloak, “Good luck.”

As I quietly enter the chamber, and hide one of the large tanks with alien drones inside them, Thorax walks into the chamber, and he approaches towards his old extraterrestrial mother. “Chrysalis!”

Chrysalis looks at Thorax, and she smirks. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t the one who ruined my plan, King Thorax.”

“You supposed to share the love on everypony.” Thorax says as I quietly run behind Twilight’s prison cell.

Twilight turns at me, and then I put my finger to my mouth to keep her mouth shut, and she nods.

Chrysalis stands up from her throne, and she walks to Thorax. “Why would I take orders from one of my subjects? I am supposed to be the queen, but you are a savage!”

“I deserve to learn what ‘Friendship’ is, and you refused to learn about it!”

I aim my grappling hook at the staff where it’s located in the center of the platform.

“Exactly. But I didn’t came here to feed on the love, I came here to exterminate everypony left on Equis.” Chrysalis says,

My grapple fires, and then it coils around the staff. I force the grapple hook to pull the staff off. The staff snaps out of the platform, and then it flies towards me.

Chrysalis turns to attention to me. “What the...?”

After I catch the staff, it glows, and then particles swarm around me follow by the Mane 6, and then half of the particles swarm out of the chamber exit.

My new armor and weapons disappears, and then my old armor and weapons appear. The Mane 6 had their armor and weapons, and they break free.

“NO!” Chrysalis cries,

I aim at the alien queen. “Let’s see that you’re smart enough to see me!”

But then, Chrysalis smirks at me. "Hey, prisoner, aren't you forgetting something?"

Suddenly, Chrysalis snatches Thorax with her mouth, and she shakes his like a rag doll.

"Thorax!" I switch my rifle to my hard-light launcher, and I shoot the queen before she falls over.

Chrysalis drops Thorax as she lands on her back. She’s still alive, but was knocked out when she hit her head against the wall.

“Brandon!” Twilight exclaims,

“Twilight!” I exclaim,

The Mane 6 runs over me for a group hug.

“Okay, group hugs.” I laugh,

After they stop hugging, Spike jumps onto me, and he licks my helmet. “H-hey, Spike!”

“Thank you for saving us, Brandon.” Spike says as he jumps off of me,

“Let’s go help the others.”

Twilight runs over her brother, and she breaks his cage.

“Twilly!” Shining Armor exclaims as he hugs her young sister.

“BBBFF!” Twilight exclaims,

Pinkie frees Flurry Heart. “I told you I can help you.”

I free Cadance, Luna and Celestia.

The princesses, now in their Anthro pony forms, walk over me. “Brandon Carter, thank you for rescuing us.” Celestia says,

“Just doing my job.” I say,

Starlight enters the chamber.

“Starlight!” Twilight exclaims,

She and Starlight run towards each other for a hug.

We turned to Thorax who's lying on the ground covered in wounds.

"Oh no!" I say as we run over him.

"Thorax!" Starlight cries,

"Oh my! You're hurt." Twilight cries,

"I-I know.. b-but I can't live much longer." Thorax exhales in pain, "They'd killed my own hive... and m-my fight... is over."

Starlight crouches to Thorax. "But, Thorax, we can't leave you here."

"I'm sorry, Starlight... Chrysalis got me good."

"Thorax, you need to fight it." I say, "We can't just leave without you."

"No... I can't go without you... you need to destroy the mothership..."

Flurry crawls up to Thorax in sadness.

"Flurry Heart... I've always protected you, and you gave me love."

Cadance carries Flurry. "You always be a good friend, Thorax."

Thorax smiles.

Starlight's tears flow to her eyes. "You've helped us saved Twilight and the others. You've showed them how to share love."

"I know, Starlight... and after that, we always been... best friends."

"Thorax, we need you here." I say, "This is the final fight."

"Brandon... just go... and give Chrysalis a little payback for me... would you?"

"Believe me, Thorax; I will."

Thorax's eyes slowly shut, and then he passes out.

Starlight hugs her dead alien friend crying.

Twilight puts her hand on her shoulder. "Starlight, I'm... I'm so sorry about Thorax."

Starlight wipes her tears out. "He was a good changeling."

“Hey, we’ve got to go before she wakes up.” I say,

We run out of the chamber as Chrysalis begins to stand up shouting. “YOU WON’T GET AWAY FOR THIS, BRANDON CARTER!!!”

We keep on running down the hall non stop until we made it to the nesting chamber where the others at.

They look at their pony friends, and they run over them for a hug.

“Rarity!” Lauren exclaims,

“Lauren!” Rarity exclaims,

“Fluttershy!” Nick exclaims,

“Nick!” Fluttershy exclaims,

“Pinkie Pie!” Rebecca exclaims,

“Rebecca!” Pinkie exclaims,

“AJ!” James exclaims,

“James!” Applejack exclaims,

“Rainbow Dash!” Kelly exclaims,

“Kelly!” Rainbow exclaims,

After they stop hugging, Lauren runs over Celestia for a hug. “Princess Celestia! Thank goodness you’re okay.”

“You better thank Brandon for saving us.” Celestia says,

"Where's Thorax?" Nick asks,

Starlight shakes her head. "He didn't make it."

They gasp for the loss of Thorax.

"Poor Thorax." Nick says,

"Rest in peace." James says,

“Oh, speaking of which.” I pull out an envelop my grandpa gave it to me, and I hand it to Celestia.

“Who’s this from?” Celestia asks,

I smile, “You know who from 1962.”

Celestia smiles, and then she hugs me. “Thank you!” She then stops hugging me.

“Let’s get out of here.”

We run down the hallway where it leads back where the Enterprise landed.

P.O.V. Queen Chrysalis

I walk over my throne, and I swipe the screen. “If you’re planing to kill me, then try it, Brandon Carter!”

My Mech suit appears from the ceiling, and the ropes winds my suit down in front of me. I climb up to my Mech suit after it opens, and then connect my exo suit inside the machine. My suit closes and seals me inside, and then my control panels turn on.

I laugh hysterically.

Author's Note

Now that our heroes have rescued the others from Queen Chrysalis, and retrieved the staff, will they have time to escape from the queen’s mothership? Find out in the next chapter.

UPDATE: I added Thorax's death because... well I usually hated him because he broke biology, but maybe he was reformed by Vigil. But then since after the aliens destroyed his hive, he is killed by Chrysalis. R.I.P. Thorax.
