Here’s a short chapter that will rip off Independence Day.

Chapter 42: Escape from the mothership

As we make it to the monorail station, an alien abductor ship shows up hovering outside the station. Then it suddenly lowers the ship entrance platform. Realizing that’s our ship, we see Discord waving from the cockpit.

“Thank you, Discord!” I say,

Discord gives a thumbs up.

“Let’s go.”

We run up to the platform, and then we disappear inside the Enterprise. The platform closes behind us, and Trixie was inside the ship too.

“Hey, guys. The aliens from the watch towers spotted us so Discord decides to move it someplace secured.” Trixie says, "Where's Thorax?"

"Thorax's dead." I say, "I'd tried my best to save him, but Chrysalis took a bite out of him."

Trixie looks worried. "I'm sorry for your loss."

The speakers that sounds like Discord says, “Ladies and gentlemen, please fast into your seat-belts, and enjoy our escape fro-”

“Would you shut up, and drive us out of here?” I say,

“Right.”

As our ship moves away from the monorail station, and towards the outside world, a dozen fighter drones follow us.

“They’re chasing us.” Nick says,

“DISCORD!” I shout,

“Hang on!” Discord says from the speakers,

The Enterprise accelerates, and it moves out of the alien structure.

I hand the staff to James. “James, Applejack, use the decoy transmitter on this staff.”

“Okay.” James says as he and Applejack walks over the decoy transmitter,

Suddenly, our ship shakes violently.

“Sorry. We’ve took a hit, but don’t worry. We’ve still got our shields.” Discord says from the speakers,

I sigh as I turn to Trixie. “Why’d we let him drive?”

Trixie shrugs.

I turn to James. “How’s the transmitter?”

“We’re still working on it.” James says,

He was busy scanning the staff with a transmitter.

“Well work harder, darn it!” I say,

The ship shakes violently as the fighter drone took a hit on our shields.

“Lauren, I just want you know.” I say, “Before we won’t make it out of here, I was having a cru-”

Lauren covers my mouth, and she smiles. “Don’t worry, Brandon. You don’t have to say it.”

I smile.

“Brandon, look!” Fluttershy says pointing through the window.

We run over the window. The human fighters arrive, and they cover us by taking out the fighter drones that’re chasing us.

I turn to the others. “The cavalry has arrived!”

They cheer.

As the Enterprise stops for hovering, the drop ship shows up, and it hovers right next to us.

The radio turns on. “Did you miss me?” That was grandpa.

“Grandpa?” I say,

Celestia gasps. “Here. Let me see it.”

I hand Celestia the radio.

“Earl?” Celestia says as she turns on the radio,

“Celestia?”

“I’d haven’t seen you for fifty years.” She says, “I’d missed you.”

“I’d missed you too, Celestia.”

“I’m sorry I haven’t return. You’ve saved the world once before, Earl.”

“I’m not saving the world, Celestia; I’m saving you.”

Celestia smiles.

Discord says from the speakers. “We’ve got fighter drones incoming!”

I turn to James. “James!”

“It’s done.” James says, “The staff has turned off.”

“Put in into the abduction tube ASAP!”

James runs over the tube in the center, and he puts the devise inside it before her closes it. The transmitter floats after he placed it inside it.

“Discord, place the transmitter into the drop ship.” I say,

The transmitter disappears down the tube, and after the drop ship door opens, the tractor beam levitates the decoy transmitter, and then places it on board the drop ship before it shuts.

I turn on the radio. “Go now!”

“I’ll see you on the other side.” Grandpa says as the drop ship moves towards the alien structure,

“Discord, get us out of here!”

As the human fighters move towards the mothership exit, the Enterprise moves towards our way out of the ship. Dozens of alien fighter drones follow us shooting plasma projectiles.

The tunnel exit appears ahead of us, and then we move through it as some of the human fighters are taken our by fighter drones. After all the human fighters made it out, the two doors from above and below the gate slowly shuts.

“They’re closing up on us! Discord hurry!” I cry,

“Quiet! Quiet! Quiet!” Discord shouts,

The Enterprise moves faster towards the closing gate.

“Must go faster! Must go faster! Must go faster!” I cry while ripping off Jurassic Park and Independence day. “Go, go, go, go, go!”

Discord screams as the Enterprise soars through the almost closed gates that barely crushed us as the rest of us shut out eyes waiting for our deaths if we can’t make it. We sigh in relief finally made it out safely over the open ocean.

“Discord has left the building!” Discord says,

Nick, Pinkie and Starlight faint in relief.

“That was close.” Twilight says,

The radio turns on, and we can hear grandpa and Chrysalis as our ship stops a hundred miles.

“Alright. Where’s the staff!?” Chrysalis shouts,

“Surprise to see me?” Grandpa asks,

She pause. “No! It can’t be!”

“That’s right, Chrysalis. Say good night, Chrissy!” Then static,

Celestia and I close our eyes sadly.

Within seconds, hundreds of large devastating explosions spread all over the mothership, and then a colossal explosion obliterates the entire ship that blind us a little as we cover our eyes until the explosion clears, and all what’s left was thousands of debris.
