We’ve been running through the forest avoiding predators as we approach towards Abbas’s hideout. Just then, Chrysalis shows up, but she didn’t see us. We hide behind the tree trunk until she walks away. We continue to run towards the structure without the alien queen noticing us.

We run across the stream, and then up hill. We finally made it to the structure, and we stop in front of the entrance exhaling.

“We made it.” I say, “Finally!”

“Now let’s get inside.” Twilight says,

We emerge through the structure, and then we follow the path where Abbas’s chamber is located like remember last time. Within two minutes of running, we finally made it inside the chamber.

“We made it.” I say,

“But where’s Chrysalis?” Lauren asks,

“She’s probably too late to get here.” Kelly says,

“Let’s hurry!” I say,

But before we’re about to approach Abbas’s sphere, Chrysalis shows up in front of us out of nowhere.

“You are too late.” Chrysalis says,

We gasp.

“Now if I had the staff, the Watcher is mine!” Chrysalis laughs, “Now if you’ll excuse me.” She turns to the sphere, and then approaches it.

Just then, a drone emerges out of her back, and then it hovers to the ceiling before it creates a domed force field that covers the entire area. Before the shield lowers, Twilight and I roll forward to the other side of the dome before it lowers completely. But the others are trapped outside the barrier.

“Twilight!” Spike cries,

“Just go, we’ll find a way in.” Lauren says,

I nod in agreement.

“Just be careful.”

Twilight and I turns to Chrysalis as she lightens the staff when she’s close to the sphere.

We draw out plasma rifles, and we fire at the alien queen.

When plasma projectiles hit Chrysalis’s side, she turns to attention to us just before she’s about to awaken Abbas. “You two!?”

“Drop that staff!” I say,

“Or else what?” She leans forward in a battle position like a T-Rex, and then she aims her massive rifle at us. “You can’t tell me what to do!”

“Oh shoot!”

She open fires her rifle, and we scatter around trying to shoot the alien queen. I rush to cover reloading my plasma rifle, and then continue to shoot Chrysalis in the head. Chrysalis turns towards me, but Twilight tosses her plasma grenade, and the grenade explodes on Chrysalis’s side, but no effect. I glance at the staff she’s holding from her tiny arms.

As Chrysalis is distracted by Twilight, I rush over the staff, and I grab onto it. But when the staff’s purple crystal glows, Chrysalis looks at me with her head upside down. When purple particles swarm from the staff, and then around me and Twilight, Chrysalis knocks me down as my suit and weapons appear. I land on the floor, and I keep on firing my hard-light rifle at the queen.

“Brandon.” Twilight says,

I turn to Twilight.

“Press the button.”

I turn to Chrysalis with a grin on my face. “Hey, Chrysalis.”

“Yes, Brandon?” Chrysalis smirks,

“Aren’t you forgetting something?”

“What?”

I press the button on my wrist, and then Twilight transforms into a T-Rex.

Chrysalis turns to Twilight, but then she smiles at her. “Ha! You think that will defeat me? Well I have the...” She then realizes that her staff is gone. “No! The staff!”

The staff she dropped is lying on the floor behind the queen. I rush in towards the staff.

When Chrysalis turns to attention at me, and she aims her rifle at me as I stop, Twilight fires her rail-gun at the queen. Chrysalis turns to attention to her opponent, and then Twilight fires her rail-gun again causing the queen’s armor to break apart. Chrysalis aims at Twilight with her rifle, and they fire the same way. While Twilight’s rail-gun projectile hits Chrysalis’s rifle, the plasma projectile hits Twilight’s rail-gun causing her armor and weapon systems to break apart. When Twilight’s armor fall off of her body, Chrysalis drops her broken rifle.

“You’ve ruined my plans you little brat!” She takes off her helmet, and drops it on the floor. “But I will not fail for the LAST TIME!”

“Not if I can take you down first!” Twilight says,

Twilight runs over the queen, and she bites down Chrysalis’s neck before dragging her against the barrier wall blocking my path. Chrysalis punches Twilight in the chest, but she didn’t let go. Chrysalis grabs Twilight’s mouth, and she pulls her jaws off of her neck. Twilight tries to snap her jaws, but Chrysalis is so strong as she tries to rip her jaws wide open.

I glance at the staff and then at Twilight. I have no other choice but to help Twilight defeating this alien queen. I aim at Chrysalis in the head, and I pull the trigger. When the hard-light projectile hits the queen in the snout, Twilight jaws snap shut like a steal trap, and Chrysalis screams in pain as her fingers bitten down by the T-Rex’s bone crushing serrated teeth. Twilight swings Chrysalis, and she slams her against the ground. Twilight bites Chrysalis in the head, but she avoids it, and then she shoves Twilight away from her with her foot.

As I rush into cover, Twilight lands on the floor, but she quickly gets up. Chrysalis charges towards the lavender T-Rex, and Twilight charges towards her. They collide against each other, and Twilight bites Chrysalis in the head trying to crush her skull. Chrysalis punches her in the jaw, and the slashes her face as she lets go. Chrysalis bites Twilight’s neck, and she screams in pain as she tries to shake it off.

I shoot Chrysalis in the side until Chrysalis turns to attention to me, and then Twilight pushes the alien queen before she lands on her back. Twilight puts her right foot onto the queen’s torso as her eyes were closed. As Twilight leans forward to take a bite onto Chrysalis’s neck, the queen’s eyes opened, and then she pushes Twilight off of her.

Before I was about to shoot Chrysalis, she swings her ovipositor at me, and I flew towards the wall. I slam against the barrier, and then I land on the floor before my suit and my weapons disappear.

Chrysalis laughs hysterically,

“NO!” Twilight quickly gets up, and she charges towards her opponent.

But Chrysalis punches Twilight in the head really hard, and then she collapses before she turns back into her Anthro pony herself unconscious and her weapons and suit disappears.

“TWILIGHT!” I shout,

Chrysalis didn’t have time to finish Twilight off.

She approaches towards me as I’m helpless. “Brandon, Brandon, Brandon, you do think using a dinosaur will defeat me? After I destroy the Watcher, I will kill off the remaining dinosaur survivors, and then your race will be my slaves... including your love one!” She smiles evilly,

The barrier suddenly shatter, but Chrysalis didn’t realize as she opens her jaws releasing her long bladed tongue. Suddenly, plasma projectiles hit Chrysalis’s head. She turns back seeing Rebecca firing her heavy plasma. The others are firing their weapons too.

Chrysalis walks towards them, and I slowly stand up. But then I see the staff about twelve feet close to me. I rush over the staff, and I grab it. Five crystals glow, and then they swarm around them. Their armor and weapons appear, and Chrysalis comes to a halt, and she glares at me.

“YOU FOOL!” She roars,

Applejack transforms into a Triceratops, and then she rams against Chrysalis forcing her on her back. Fluttershy transforms into an Edmontosaurus, and she fires her hard-light turrets from her sides at Chrysalis as she slowly gets up, and then she fires missiles against her. Pinkie transforms into an Ankylosaurus, and then she smacks Chrysalis in the head with her tail club. Rarity transforms into a Dakotaraptor, and she jumps onto Chrysalis’s head latching onto her. When Chrysalis shakes Rarity off, Rainbow transforms into a Quetzalcoatlus, and she grabs Chrysalis’s right wing it has her beak before she rips it off as she flies above her.

I run over unconscious Twilight. “Twilight! Twilight! TWILIGHT!” I shake her to wake her up, but no response. “Twilight, don’t do this to me. I’m your brother, and I don’t want you to die.”

Twilight opens her eyes. “Brandon?”

I smile. “You’re awake!”

“Brandon, I can’t do this. She’s too strong.”

“Twilight, this is it. The final fight!”

“You’ve claimed the staff, and it’s your chance to transform into a dinosaur.”

“But I don’t know how.”

“Brandon, the key for transformation isn’t to press that button; but it’s to show everyone your pure heart of ‘Friendship’.”

I pause. “You’re right.” I turn to the others fighting Chrysalis. “Magic doesn’t exist, but ‘Friendship’ is where magic comes from.” I stand up.

Chrysalis grabs Rainbow’s wing, and she throws her against the wall, and then Rainbow turns back into her suit-less Anthro pony as she lands on the floor.

“Rainbow Dash never leaves us behind, and she helped my friends fighting our enemies.”

Rarity jumps onto Chrysalis, but she grabs her with her mouth, and the throws Rarity against the wall before transforming back to her Anthro pony without her suit and weapons as she lands on the floor.

“Rarity always help everyone including me, and she never let me down.”

Chrysalis grabs Pinkie’s tail, and she swings her around. She throws Pinkie against the wall, and she transforms back to her Anthro pony form without her suit and weapons.

“Pinkie Pie was a good friend, and how cute she is acting. She always follow the rules, and she makes me laugh.”

Chrysalis smacks Fluttershy, and she falls into the ground. She transforms back to her Anthro pony form without her suit and weapons.

“Fluttershy was kind and gentle to everyone, and like me, she loves animals even if they’re extinct.”

Chrysalis grabs Applejack in her horns, and she throws her against the wall before transforming her back to her Anthro pony without her suit.

“Applejack always tell the truth. She’s strong, brave and honest, and like Rarity, she never lets me down.”

I turn to Twilight. “And Twilight.”

Twilight stands up.

“You’re the smartest person I know, and you’ll always be my new twin sister.”

Twilight smiles.

I turn to Chrysalis who then approaches towards me.

“Foolish human! Even bring an ally will never stop me.” Chrysalis says,

“You’re right, Chrysalis.” I say, “But that doesn’t mean that.”

Chrysalis looks confused.

“What I learn about ‘Friendship’, it will never be stopped.” My suit then appears. “But ‘magic’ doesn’t exist, but ‘Friendship’ comes from within where magic comes from. And pure evil never belongs in this world!” I press the button, and then suddenly, particles swarm around me.

Chrysalis steps back, and then I transform myself into a T-Rex.

“NO!” Chrysalis gasps, “That’s impossible!”

“You’re wrong, Chrysalis.” I say, “’Friendship’ will never be stopped.”

Chrysalis growls. “Enough of this!” She charges towards me,

I charge towards her, and then I take a bite on her neck. I try to crush her neck with my powerful jaws, but her exoskeleton inside her skin is hard. Chrysalis shakes me off, and she swings her arm at me, but I avoid it, and I grab onto her left tiny arm, and rip it off.

Chrysalis screams in pain as I drop her ripped off arm. I swing my head to smack her head leaving three of her teeth fall out. Push Chrysalis towards the wall, and I slam her body against it. I throw her against the ground, and I snap my jaws at her, but she avoids it. Chrysalis quickly gets up, and she takes a bite to my neck. I shake it off, and I bites down her neck trying to crush her neck, but it won’t break.

Chrysalis removes my mouth, and she punches my head before she pushes me against the floor. Before Chrysalis is about finish me off, Twilight, now in her T-Rex form, shows up out of nowhere, and bites Chrysalis in the leg. Chrysalis looks down at Twilight as she tries to shake her leg off. I stand up, and I push Chrysalis over, and she falls against the floor, but she might have landed too close to the sphere.

Twilight walks over me, and we transform ourselves back to our human form. “Brandon, we can’t kill her. Her exoskeleton is too hard.”

The alien queen gets up, and she pounds the sphere again and again trying to break it, but it was indestructible. Lauren shows up with her hard-light sniper rifle, and she shoots the queen in the left eye.

Chrysalis screams in pain while covering her bleeding left eye socket, and then she turns to Lauren.

"Lauren, run!" I shout,

Lauren is about to run, but Chrysalis snatches her.

Chrysalis turns at me. "Give me the staff or your girl will die!"

"Brandon, save yourself!" Lauren cries,

I glance at Chrysalis’s back. Her right wing is pulled off by Rainbow, but her left wing is still here. Then I have an idea. I whisper to Twilight. “Twilight, you grab the hold onto her neck.”

“What’re you going to do?” Twilight asks,

“I’m going to finish this.” I pull out the staff, "Here." I throw it towards the queen.

Chrysalis grabs the staff, and she laughs hysterically. "Thank you, Brandon Carter."

"No!" Lauren cries,

Chrysalis turns to attention to the sphere, and she punctures the sphere with the staff.

I pull out a grenade. "Let's finish this!"

Twilight transforms into her T-Rex form. “Good luck.”

When the sphere disintegrates, Abbas falls into the floor, and Chrysalis grabs her.

Chrysalis laughs evilly. “We’ve meet again at last!”

“You won’t get away for this, Chrysalis!” Abbas says,

Lauren draws her hard-light pistol, but Chrysalis shakes her forcing Lauren to drop her pistol. "No!"

Chrysalis smirks at Lauren. "I think I will kill you first before the Watcher!" She laughs,

“NO!” Twilight charges towards Chrysalis, and she bites her neck.

Chrysalis drops Abbas and Lauren, and Abbas lands on her feet before she levitates Lauren without falling hard on the floor, and then she gently levitates Lauren on the floor.

As Chrysalis struggles to shake Twilight off, but she’s holding on, I jump onto Chrysalis’s side, and I climb up to her pulled off wing. I pull out a grenade as Chrysalis shakes Twilight off, and she knocks her down before Twilight transforms into her Anthro pony herself.

Chrysalis glances at me.

I say in the most awesome line. “You just got extinct.” I activate the grenade. “You stupid alien!” I toss a grenade into the hole where her wing is pulled off, and then I jump off Chrysalis.

Lightning surges all over Chrysalis as she yells in her last words. “NNAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” After lightning around her disappears, a violent explosion struck disintegrating her torso, and her head, limbs and ovipositor flies across the room, and green blood rain down.

Alien Queen Chrysalis... is dead!

After our suits and weapons disappear, cheer for victory.

“We did it!” I smile,

“We all did it.” Twilight says, “And it’s all thanks to you.”

“Brandon!” Lauren exclaims as she runs over me for a hug, “I knew you can do it.”

“Well technically, I’d--”

I was interrupted when, she suddenly kisses me in my mouth which surprises me and the others.

Lauren stops kissing me, and I smile nervously. “Well... okay.”

Nick looks at Rebecca. “Maybe we should... try that?”

Rebecca turns to Nick, and then she smiles. “Are you kidding?” She hugs Nick, and they kiss each other’s mouths.

Abbas hovers over me.

“Are you okay?” I ask her,

Abbas smiles. “I am thanks to you. You are a remarkable species.”

I smile. “Thank you, Abbas.” I turn to my friends. “But I can’t do this without any of you guys.”

Just then, my radio turns on. “Brandon, good news!” Celestia says in my radio, “Help is on the way.”

“Celestia, good news. Queen Chrysalis... is dead! We’ve won the war!”

“You’ve did one heck of a job, Brandon.”

“Roger that, Celestia.” I turn off my radio,

“Now that the queen is dead, the other Outsiders parish without her hive mind, and her technology fall; I will rebuild all the structures they’ve destroyed.” Abbas says,

The hologram shows thousands of objects the shape of spheres orbit around Earth and Equis, and each deploy billions of nanobots into each atmosphere, and then all the structures in each major city in both planets begin to rebuild themselves as survivors of the invasion cheer for victory. After all the structures have been rebuilt, the hologram disappears.

“Do you have the staff?” Abbas asks,

I glance at the staff that is on the floor near me. “Oh yes.” I pick it up, and I hand it to her. “And I think this is yours.”

“Thank you, Brandon.” Abbas says, “Now if I had the staff, I would watch both of your worlds, and we can spread friendship all around.”

Just then, Vigil shows up, and he hovers over Abbas.

“Vigil.” Abbas says, “It’s been thirty years since you’ve been imprisoned.”

“I’m sorry, Abbas.” Vigil says,

“No need to apologize.” She turns at us. “Your quest is over now. I will give a friendship mission as Vigil and I watch Earth and Equis.”

“Thank you, Abbas.” I say, “For everything.”

The sphere appears around them as they both vanish inside it.

I turn to the others. “Come on, guys. Let’s go home.”

We emerge out of the structure only to see landed drop ships and several rescue troops already outside even Thomas and Faust.

Thomas walks over me. “Brandon Carter, well done.” He shakes my hand.

“Thank you, Thomas.” I say,

Faust walks over me. “Thank you for defeating Chrysalis. I’m sorry for the loss of your grandfather.”

“He’ll be so proud of me if he’s alive.”

“He died trying to save the world.” She says, “And you helped him.”

“Yeah.”

“Let’s get you guys home.” Thomas says,

We all board inside one of the drop ships, and we ship back to Earth.

Now that the Queen Chrysalis is killed, the aliens were defeated, and Earth and Equis is saved, now let’s get ready for the aftermath of the invasion in the next chapter.
