The Infamous Life Of Blitz

~Chapter 3~

As Blitz finally made it to his house, he arrived with a nice hard crash right on the sidewalk. He got tangled up with a flock of birds and lost control in his flight. Usually a pegasus would be able to recover after a minor bump with a flock of birds, but Blitz really didn't practice on his flight.

He was way to busy trying to find a second job, or he was too sore from all the hard work from football, or just down right wasn't in the mood to practice his flight. Sometimes it was all of the above. The one time he actually tried to practice his flight was a few years ago, when he lost control and ran into his mare he is still with today. If it wasn't for his screw up, he would of been one of the most depressed ponies in the known world. He even thought he could be as clumsy as that one mare everypony kept talking about. It was a mare that had bubbles for a cutie mark. They called her Ditzy Doo, or Derpy Hooves or something like that.

But Blitz could care less about a pony being as clumsy as he was at flying. As he crashed he banged his head off the grass. Lucky for him that happened, or else he would be dead already. But as Blitz got up he thought he sprained his hoof. He moved it around to see if he had control over it, in that which he did. It barley hurt so he assumed that he just hit it a little hard.

"Celestia damn it," he muttered under his breath, "Those assholes of the sky always get in my damn way." Blitz whipped off the feathers he had on him. He even spat some out at he ground, for about maybe two birds, so he though, smoked him in the mouth. He gagged for one feather was at the back of his throat, but he managed to get it out with one swift punch to his gut. He coughed a couple of times before he started to make his way to his front door.

As he opened the door he was expecting Sunflower to come and start giving him hugs and kisses. Instead it was really quiet. Blitz called out to his lover to see if she was home. Their was no answer. He called out again this time asking if she was home. Still no answer. Knowing this, Blitz just decided to grab a case of his favorite apple cider and went to sit on his couch and relax for today was one tough day for our friend. He grabbed the remote and he changed it to the news to see what was going on around his neighborhood. He sighed.

This was the third week in a row where he didn't go anywhere. The last time he remembered he had gone somewhere was with Sunflower to that fancy restaurant downtown. It bothered Blitz but at the same time he really didn't care. He loved getting out of the house every once in a while, but at the same time he just wanted to hang around the house and relax. He could admit that he was pretty lazy, but at other times he can describe himself to be quite the active pegasus in all of Las Pegasus.

Since he was alone Blitz felt like doing something he hasn't really done in a long time. Blitz looked around his house to see if somepony was in.

No pony was in sight.

He took his hoof and he went down and grabbed hold of his manhood. Hell, Blitz hasn't done this in a long time because Sunflower found it to be disgusting. He breathed a sigh of relief. "Now this is how you relax on a Friday." he said with a smile on his face. Blitz leaned his head back in total relaxation and closed his eyes.

Suddenly, Blitz noticed something when his eyes were closed. He felt like there was a shadow over him. He didn't wanna open his eyes, for this was a total relaxation moment for him, but he didn't like the feeling that someone was probably watching him as he had a grip of his crotch. Blitz had to decide. Either open your eyes and see if anyone's there and possibly ruin a complete and absolute perfect relaxation moment, or forget about it and just keep on keeping on. Blitz decided to go with option two. So Blitz just resumed to lounge on his couch with his hoof in his crotch area. He smiled. But then he heard a little gasp. Blitz knew it wasn't one from the TV, but one in real life.

Blitz opened his eyes and seen Sunflower standing right behind the couch with her mouth agape. "Oh." Blitz said aqwardly, "This uh...this isn't really what it looks like. I was just uh..." he thought of an excuse to give her. He didn't want her to think that he was pleasuring himself, nor did he wanna say he was just putting it down there just to relax. 'Think Blitz think' "I was just scratching it, I swear." he said with a blush of embarrassment. Sunflower looked at Blitz. She shook her head. Blitz knew that in those green eyes that she could see through him like a window.

"Aren't you suppose to be at that job interview today?" she said not even noticing that Blitz's hoof was in his nether region. He let go and cleared his throat. "Wha...What now sweetheart?"

Sunflower trotted towards the window and looked out. "Your job interview. With the weather patrol. Remember?" Blitz thought about it. He remembered the company giving him a call and telling him to meet on Friday. Today was Friday, but they also said to meet on the 16th. And today was the 9th. "No. That's next week, babe. Why ask?" He said as he got up from the couch and stretched out his wings. Sunflower tsked. "What about the other one. The interview for that job on the farm out in Phillydalphia." she said as if she was nagging. Blitz's eyes lit up. He remembered them calling and saying they needed help. Blitz forgot about it. He was suppose to go right after his practice, and it was three hours after his practice.

"Oh. That I kinda...." Blitz said nervously. Sunflower looked at him as if a dog had torn up a newspaper in the living room. "You forgot didn't you." she said in a stern voice. Blitz looked down. Sunflower sighed. "Really? How the hell could you forget something like that damn it!" The sound of Sunflower yelling made Blitz back up a little. Blitz looked at her. "Babe, I'm sorry." he said. The orange mare flipped her green mane and shook her head. "Your sorry? Is that all you have to say for yourself? Sorry?!"

Blitz knew Sunflower was pissed at him. He stayed quiet as he just stared her in the eyes.

She sighed and trotted to her bedroom. Blitz followed hoping he could turn her emotions around. They both entered her room. "Babe, we are still good. I still have that job interview for the weather patrol." Sunflower looked at Blitz with anger in her eyes. "Blitz! This is the third job interview you missed! I cant handle two jobs on my own! And your little football gig you got going on is nowhere near how much I make! You and your damn forgetting about things is getting on my fucking nerves!" she said as he turned back around with her forelegs crossed.

Blitz came up right beside her as he sat down with her. He put a hoof on her shoulder only to be pushed away. "Don't touch me." she said as she turned away from Blitz. He never seen her this mad before. "And that's another thing." she turned around. "You act like you care about me but you don't ever show it. EVER!" she said as she got up and walked out of her room. Blitz was confused. What he hell was wrong with her? Why is she all bitchy? Blitz got up and followed her.

"What the hell is your problem tonight?!" he said as he followed her into the kitchen. She turned around. "Whats my problem?" she stopped and trotted up to our white colt. "Whats my damn problem?! My problem is your dumb ass!" she yelled as she pushed Blitz. "You are so stupid when it comes to real life, Blitz! The only thing you care about is football, and the truth is you suck at the damn sport!" Blitz was now getting pissed. He wasn't liking her attitude at the moment. "Why are you talking about me not caring about you?! I come here everyday to make you happy!" he now yelled at his marefriend. Sunflower laughed sarcastically. "Oh, you do, do you?! What about yesterday?! What about last week?! Where the fuck were you then, huh" she screamed.

"I had football! I was beat to shit! I was tired!" Blitz said as he pointed toward his bedroom.

"You were tired?!" she turned around for a moment. Then turned back around. "You really couldn't take one measly second of your worthless life to say I love you!? That's really how worthless you are!?"

Blitz was baffled. He did always say he loved her. "I always said I loved you!" he yelled.

"You never show it you worthless bastard!" Blitz couldn't believe it. She never spoke to Blitz like this before. Sunflower sighed. "Listen, Blitz. I'm starting to get sick of your shit! Everyday its the same thing for you! Come home, shower, sit on that damn couch, and go to bed! You don't do shit around here anymore!"

Blitz was at a loss of words. He didn't know what to say. He was just too surprised at how Sunflower would just randomly start arguing at him for no apparent reason. "Yet you stand there and say you do shit around here!" Sunflower said as she walked back into her room. Blitz knew something was amiss. There is no way Sunflower would just start yelling at him for no apparent reason. He had to see what she was really trying to say. He flew to her bed room.

"What are you trying to tell me Sunflower?" Blitz said now in a gentile voice as he landed on her bedroom's carpet floor. Sunflower sat on her bed just looking out her window. "Babe?" he said as he started to trot forward.

"Blitz..." she responded in a gentle tone.

"Blitz. I'm saying I'm leaving."

Blitz froze in place as soon as he heard the last word of her sentence. He shook his head. "Come again?" he said trying to make sure she actually meant what she said. The orange mare turned around and looked at Blitz.

"I said I'm leaving you. I've been talking to a unicorn on your football team, and I decided to go stay with him."

Blitz felt his soul actually almost lift right outta him. He stood in the same spot for about a few seconds. "You....You....Leave....For....Another....Stallion...." Blitz said as he was almost on the brink of losing himself. Sunflower shook her head and flew out of her room. Blitz thought about what she said. 'I've been talking to a unicorn on your football team.' Unicorn. Blitz felt his eyes sink into his head. He turned around and flew to where Sunflower was. He stood in the hallway as he seen Sunflower with her suitcase in her mouth.

"Who is he?" Blitz said in a hoarse whisper. Sunflower looked at him.

"His name is Magicka, and he is a far better stallion than you." she said as she started to put her scarf on.

Blitz worst fear became a reality. His own marefriend who he was with for three long years, now was leaving him. What made it worse for our white pegasus is that she left him for the one colt he displeased the most. "How long?" Blitz said in a shaky voice. Sunflower looked back at him with a face of confusion. Blitz lost it when he looked into her eyes. "How long have you been doing this!!!" he screamed in sadness. The orange mare looked down.

"I've been talking to him for six months now. We are perfect for each other."

Blitz felt pain everywhere. Both of sadness and pain. "Your making a big mistake Sunflower!" he screamed yet again. Sunflower opened the door. She looked over her shoulder.

"I'm know I'm making the right decision Blitz. I'm sorry, but I gotta do this. For me." Blitz fell to his knees on both his fore and hind legs. "But I'm yours Sunflower. I'm your Blitz." he said as he stared at Sunflower. The mare stepped out onto the front porch and turned around.

"You'll never be the Blitz I use to know! You'll always be a loser! For the rest of your life!"

As the mare said those last words to the colt she slammed the door, knocking a picture of Blitz and Sunflower off the wall. Blitz watch as it shattered in half.

It was then silent.

There were no sounds. Literally.

In the condition our friend was in was to much for him to handle. Blitz was in an absolute hole of anger, confusion, and sadness. He laid there and just stared at the door. Ten minutes passed as he finally started to move. As Blitz got up on his hooves, he looked around. It seemed like a much darker place as he walked around his house. The first place he went into was his ex-marefriend's room. He walked up to her mirror and stared into it. He looked like a mess. It seemed his face got darker and he could see really dark circles around his eyes. He just stared into that mirror. Looking at how much of a wreck he looked like.

Blitz then lost it.

He turned and kicked the mirror, and it shattered. The white pegasus started destroying her room. He left nothing standing or hanging . All the furniture was crushed and all the painting hung on the walls were torn down and smashed until they were all in pieces similar to a jigsaw puzzle. He stood their breathing heavily after the destruction of her room. Blitz then started to trot out into the hallway as he grabbed all the pictures of him and Sunflower. As soon as he had every picture of them he brought them on the couch and one by one he looked at them. He stacked the four pictures beside him.

He grabbed the first picture.

It was Blitz and Sunflower on their date for prom. Blitz remembered that date. It was one he would never forget. He put that picture aside.

He grabbed the next picture.

It was them when they went down by Lake Hoover. They were both sitting side by side on the big tree branch they could never break. Blitz smiled but had a bit of a hiccup due to his sadness.

He put that one aside and grabbed the next one.

This picture was when Blitz and Sunflower were just getting ready to move in to Blitz's home. 'She looked so happy in this picture' Blitz thought to himself.

The next one he couldn't bear to see, but he looked at it anyway.

It was them kissing.

The entire frame was of just them just kissing. Blitz's heart shattered and he started to tear up once again. He grabbed all the pictures and flew over to the trash can, and dumped them. Strange. Blitz felt like the pictures. Being able to hang in there for so long, but then just being dumped like garbage.

He looked at the last picture he forgot about. He trotted over and saw the picture was split down the middle.

Blitz on one side.

Sunflower on the other.

He pushed the two pieces together. And it showed their portrait. Blitz sighed.

"Was it really true love?" He asked himself. He picked up the picture and flew over to the garbage.

"I guess it wasn't" he said.

He tossed the picture in the trash. Blitz whipped his eyes and headed toward the door. "I gotta go for a fly." he said to himself. He opened the door and took a deep breath. He whipped his face of tears one last time, stepped outside, and headed off into the dusk sky.
