The Infamous Life Of Blitz

~Chapter 5~

Blitz woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside his window. The colt indeed had one rough night, but it was all worth it in the end. The white pegasus leaned up and rubbed his eyes. He sighed. The feeling of not having the smell of breakfast being made made the colt feel a little out of place. He got up out of bed and stretched his wings. Now that he had the information on who Sunflower was dating, he knew how he could get his revenge. The colt giggled to himself as his plan slowly came about as he proceeded to the kitchen to grab himself a bowl of oats.

As the pegasus trotted to his destination, he felt like he had a little bit of more freedom. Like the feeling a criminal gets when he finally served his time in jail and is greeted to the open world when let out. Blitz smiled at the feeling as he began to skip to his kitchen humming an old tune to himself as he felt happiness quickly energize him. The colt first proceeded to the TV remote to turn on the news. As he pressed the button he then advanced to the kitchen, doing a bunch of aerial tricks as he flew over the couch and did a bunch of front flips in the air. The colt never felt so alive. As he landed in front of the cupboard to get his breakfast, the news was announcing a special event that just happened recently. The Anchormare spoke.

"Today in recent news, six ponies defeated a dangerous foe of the princess. The group is said to be The Elements of Harmony, and included the following. Baker from Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie Pie. Dress Maker from Carousel Boutique, Rarity. Animal Expert from a cottage near the Everfree forest, Fluttershy. Farmer form Sweet Apple Achers, Applejack. Librarian from the Ponyville Public Library, Twilight Sparkle. And Weather Pony from Cloudsdale, Rainbo....." the TV staticed.

Blitz had the remote in his hoof and his bowl of oats in the other. "I don't wanna hear about who did what," the stallion said with a mouth full of oats and a smirk forming on his face, "Lets get to the real news." Blitz flipped through the channels to find the sports channel. The TV found what Blitz was looking for. "Welcome to ESD. Your prime network for every sport in Equestria." The colt slouched down on his couch and chowed down on his breakfast, and listened to the sports channel.

The colt finished his oats and put his bowl in the sink. He looked at the time. 2:15 PM. The stallion was actually going to be on time today. He went to the bathroom to check and see if he was good enough to fly out in public. As the stallion looked at himself in the mirror he didn't focus on his mane, but how he looked. It seemed that Blitz was glowing by what the colt seen. He winked at the mirror and gave a short chuckle. He then moved on to styling his mane the same way he always loved it. Styled up, and then combed back. That style stuck with him ever since his mother gave him that style. After his short make over, Blitz again winked and smiled at the mirror to let him know who was awesome. Blitz then proceeded to the door to take off and go to practice.

When Blitz arrived at the field he seen some of the players just getting out of the locker room. Blitz proceeded to the building with a huge smile on his face. Blitz never ever felt so happy. At least not in a while. He had always had stress with his marefriend every time he came home. She would always nag and bitch about everything. No more. He was now free. He was single. He was the Blitz he knew and loved. As Blitz opened up his locker he was greeted by Renegade who was having trouble getting his pads on. The pegasus groaned as he got his head caught on one of the straps that helped keep the pads on.

"You alright?" Blitz asked as he grabbed his pads. The blue pegasus tried to shake off the pads but it was no use. "Uh. Yeah. I need a little help." he said as he froze and tried to look at Blitz through one of the holes in his practice jersey. Blitz laughed and assisted the struggling colt. In no time the pads were on Renegade. "There you go. You look like a champ." Blitz commented. "Thanks." he said as he now proceeded to get his straps on.

"Hey. Did you hear about Magicka?" Blitz slipped on his pads. As much as Blitz wanted to ignore that name, he just didn't want to ruin his happy day. "What about him?" the white pegasus asked. Renegade moved on to the next strap. "I guess he got a new girlfriend. He told everypony that she is gonna be watching us practice today." Blitz then stopped what he was doing. He thought for a second. If Magicka was bringing Sunflower down to watch him play, that would be the excellent time for him to show how stupid he could really be. Then it would make Sunflower look bad, giving her guilt for leaving me. Blitz smiled and jumped up and down in excitement for this practice. Renegade just looked at Blitz with a confused look on his face. The colt realized.

"What?" he said in a happy tone. The blue pegasus just shook his head and closed his locker. "You can be really weird sometimes, Blitz." he said as he put his helmet on and proceeded towards the door. Blitz just was so happy. He couldn't wait to show how much of a sissy Magicka could be. He put on his equipment in a flash and darted out to the field. As Blitz dashed out of the building, he noticed something. Everypony was in a group admiring something. What ever it was they really seemed to be intrigued. Blitz joined in on the group. Turns out the thing that they were all admiring was Magicka and Sunflower.

"Wow Magicka. That is a hot piece right there." said a colt. "Yeah. Have you tapped that yet?" asked another one. Magicka held a hoof up. "Guys, guys, please. Not in front of the most beautiful mare in Equestria." he said as he looked at Sunflower. She blushed. "Oh Magicka. Your so charming." she said as he brought him in for a kiss. The crowd cheered as the two lovers kissed. All except for Blitz. All he did was give a long sigh of disappointment as he left the group and went to go get some water. A whistle blew. The coach showed up.

"All right you fillys. Practice is starting. Leave the mare alone and lets get down to business." The crowd of ponies complained and headed toward the practice field. Magicka and Sunflower kissed one more time before he departed. "Kick some ass tiger." Sunflower said to her lover, then proceeding to the stands to watch. Blitz was just getting mad now. The happiness he felt earlier now was nothing but a fried up pebble. He now wanted to prove he was better than Magicka. "Alright you sorry sack of shits," the coach announced as he put two rectangular dummies parallel to each other, leaving a space in the middle, "We are doing one on ones today. No crying and no fighting."

The team separated into two groups, one on each side of the dummies. The goal was to drive the opposing player to his back. And up first was the green unicorn. Blitz quickly took his spot on the opposite side of him and both players got in their stance. As they were in their stance Magicka made a short comment to Blitz. "Your girl has a great lip gloss taste." Blitz then looked at him with a confused look.

The whistle blew, and Magicka flew out of his stance knocking Blitz over in an instant. The team laughed. Magicka offered the colt a hoof up. Blitz reached for it only to be fooled as the unicorn only just stretched out his foreleg and walked away. Blitz heard the sound of cheering in the stands. He looked over and saw Sunflower jumping for joy. The stallion got up and waited back in line. As each group went Blitz couldn't understand what happened to him. He was confident and knew what he was doing, but that one comment just shut everything down. Blitz had to stay focused this time. He couldn't be distracted yet again.

The two were up again, and Blitz was focused this time. Magicka looked at the colt across from him and he smiled. Blitz tried to ignore it but it seemed it grow larger and larger. The whistle blew. This time Blitz was able to get out of his stance. The two were going at it for a while until yet again Magicka prevailed victorious. Blitz quickly got up and headed for the back of the line. He heard the same cheering again. His ex was now getting on his nerves, but the stallion she loved was just adding more garbage to the pile. Blitz knew this may be the last one before the team decided to do something new. He was confident this time. More confident than the last one. Besides he had a trick up his sleeve.

As the two met again, Blitz was greeted with that stupid smile of his yet again. When they got down in their stance Blitz heard a comment from Sunflower. "Beat him down, baby!" she yelled as he clapped her hooves together. That comment almost made Blitz loose it. It should be him getting cheered for. But Blitz lost his cool after Magicka said something to Blitz in a whisper.

"Shes my baby doll now loser!"

Blitz looked at Magicka. He just gave him that smile again. Blitz lost it as he fired out before the whistle. Blitz surprisingly picked up Magicka by the shoulder pads and he flew him twenty five feet in the air. "What the hell!" the unicorn screamed as he looked at the ground below. Blitz then screamed as he dove and slammed Magicka into the ground. A small cloud of dirt formed from the impact. Blitz got up and he was breathing heavily.

He felt good.

This anger he had. It just made him one hundred times better. Blitz looked at Magicka, who was just tossing and turning in pain. Blitz felt like he could take on the world. This adrenaline rush really did something to Blitz. It seemed as when he got mad, every part of Blitz changed. He wasn't the kind and nice pony he was. He was a now more angered and stronger stallion. Blitz smiled and gave one short laugh. "Rub some dirt on those horse teeth of yours you piece of shit. You'll feel a whole lot better with all that garbage in your mouth."

The pegasus looked back at the crowd of football player behind him. He expected them to come up and congratulate him on his awesome slam on the unicorn. But he wasn't greeted with a round of high hooves and compliments, but a coach that stood over him as angry as ever. Blitz looked at the coach. "So? Did I win?" Blitz said in a reassuring voice. The coach stared back at him for a while. "Did you win." he said disappointed. Blitz's expression turned from happy to scared in mere milliseconds. "You just injured our starting quarterback you dumb ass!" the coach yelled. Blitz recoiled by the coach's reaction. Sure he may of injured the best quarterback Las Pegasus has had in a while, but the bastard deserved it.

"But..." Blitz said but was interrupted by the coach. "But nothing! Have fun watching from the stands come next game! Don't even come to practice! Your done for the next week!" The white stallion took off his helmet. "What the hell! This isn't fair!" he said as he slammed his helmet on the ground. "Make it two because of your attitude! I could go all day, Blitz!" The colt remained silent as he picked his helmet up and walked toward the locker room. The football players were all silent as Blitz trotted past each and everyone of them. He looked in the stands to see Sunflower staring at him. She shook her head and flew down to where her coltfriend was. Blitz yet again tried to do the impossible but came out on bottom yet again.

As Blitz entered the locker room he felt the sudden rush of anger come back to him. He threw his helmet across the hall and ripped off his shoulder pads and started beating his locker with his hoofs. "Why! Why! Why! Why! Why!" he shouted over and over again with each strike of his hoof. Blitz felt nothing. Not even sadness, happiness, forgiveness, guilt, not even pain. All that he felt was anger as he unleashed all his rage on his locker. As many times he pounded on his locker, the white pegasus felt his anger fading away and sadness slowly kicking in. He eventually stopped and then slumped to the floor. Blitz began to weep.

He just didn't understand. Why was he always the one who got blamed? Why did he have to get banned to play football for two weeks for doing something that was right? The colt yet again was too confused to answer his own questions. Blitz felt alone yet again. He was almost on the brink of giving his life away. Blitz could only take up so much stress and sadness before death called for him. But he was strong mentally. Blitz has been in more difficult situations than this before. He knew that this was just another bump in life. Besides, Blitz was after all only fifteen. Our white friend still had a long life to live. He found his strength return and he got up and sat on the bench in the middle of the locker bank. He looked at his hoofs as they were now starting to bleed. He then noticed his practice pants were still on. He proceeded to untie them and strip down to just his plain old cutie markless coat and he then grabbed his shoulder pads and helmet and put them in his now dented locker. All of his equipment was covered in blood, so was the floor but only had a couple of droplets. Blitz sighed.

He flew off the bench and proceeded outside. He would of trotted but his hoofs were hurting too much for him to be doing that sort of thing. As he flew up to get a bird eyes view of the field Blitz got one good look at it before he departed and headed home to care for his wounds.
