"Let's head back to the clubhouse for more discussion and planning," said Applebloom.
Others nod. The purple dragon looks at the troublemaker trio that walk away as he follows them.
Applejack looks at new arrival CMC and Spike. Twilight Sparkle stands up.
"Where have you been?" asked Twilight.
"Somewhere in the mountain. The CMC is trying to get their cutiemark again," said Spike.
"What is it this time?" asked Applejack.
"Para gliding. I already warn them not to do it because it is so dangerous but they're won't listen," said Spike
The farm pony chuckles.
"They will listen after been grounded for 2 weeks," said Applejack.
The CMC pouts. Twilight Sparkle looks at the purple dragon.
"And you will be working like Tartarus tomorrow," said Twilight.
Spike sighs,
"Fine," said Spike.
The Apples look at the unicorn and the purple dragon that walk away.
"Just so you know, sis. He saved us from falling," said Applebloom.
"Good thing he was there, Applebloom. What happen if he wasn't there?" asked Applejack.
The youngest Apple looks down. The Bearer of Honesty sighs.
"Come on in. We still need to prepare for dinner," said Applejack.
She looks at Sweetie Belle and Scoolatoo.
"I think you need to head back too," said Applejack.
Sweetie Belle and Scoolatoo nod as they walk away towards the main road. The Apple siblings walk back towards the barn.
Meanwhile, at the cottage, Fluttershy in her pajama looks at the ceiling, still thinking on what happen at the dragon's cave early in the morning. She puts her hand on her chest. 'I didn't feel afraid anymore. Dragons are scary but I don't feel threatening when I am around him. It is like he is not like any other dragon' thinks Fluttershy as she closes her eyes.

CHAPTER 1: PONYVILLE - FIRST IMPRESSION
Pinkie Pie jumps around.
"I'm gonna be in this chapter! I'm gonna be in this chapter!" sang Pinkie.
The author rubs his forehead.
"Can someone give Pinkie a pie?" asked the author.
Pinkie Pie jumps towards the right.
"Is there a pie? Oh I love pie. I can even make a pie......."
Pinkie Pie jumps out. The author sighs in relief.
"Why giving Pinkie a pie?"
The author looks at Sci Twilight Sparkle that looking at him from the computer table.
"Well, because she is Pinkie Pie. Get it, Pinkie Pie," joked the author.
The scientist version of Princess of Friendship just gives him a deadpan. The author sighs.
"Forget it. Let just continue with the story," said the author.
CHAPTER 1: PONYVILLE - FIRST IMPRESSION
Spike lands on the outskirt of Ponyville territory. He looks around, folding his wings. He's wearing a green and purple hooded shirt, black short and sneakers.
"First stop, Ponyville," said Spike.
He walks towards Ponyville while opening a map
Spike approaches Ponyville, looking at the map of Equestria.
"Okay, according to the map, the town hall is in the middle. If I head there, maybe I can find a job and also a place to live for a month," wondered Spike.
"Stop right there!"
Spike looks up and sees Rainbow Dash lands in front of him.
"Who are you? What do you want?" asked Rainbow.
"Well, my name is Spike and I am heading towards town hall in Ponyville to find a place to work and rest," said Spike.
"Don't lie! I know you're going to attack Ponyville," accused Rainbow.
The purple dragon rolls his eyes.
"If I did, where is my army?" asked Spike.
Rainbow Dash flies up and look around. Spike shakes his head and walks away.
At Ponyville, Fluttershy in her green sweater that has 2 holes on her back for her wings, blue jeans and sandal, walks into the market, holding a list of food for her animals. Every pony greet her as she just either nods or greet back in squeaky voice.
Spike sits in front of Ms Mayor in her business suit that holding piece of paper.
"We welcome you to Ponyville but unfortunately we don't have a house that huge enough for you and we don't think we have enough time to build one," explained Ms Mayor.
Spike smiles.
"Don't worry. I found a cave at the mountain nearby when I came here so I will be staying there," said Spike.
"Okay then, about where you work, you can either go to Sweet Apple Acres or Golden Oak Library. They will help you on that," said Ms Mayor.
"Thank you," said Spike.
Fluttershy walks past the townhall when Spike walks out from it.
"Thank you for your help," said Spike.
"We will keep in touch since I need to introduce you to the citizen of Ponyville," said Ms. Mayor.
Spike nods. Fluttershy looks in horror as Spike walks away from the townhall. She runs away.
Spike walks towards the Sweet Apple Acres, still looking at the map.
"If the map is correct, Sweet Apple Acres should be here," said Spike.
He looks up and see the signboard of Sweet Apple Acres. He looks far behind and see the red barn, few animals and huge acres of apple tree.
"According to the information on the map, Sweet Apple Acres are handled by Apple family; Apple Smith AKA Granny Smith with her grand daughters; Macintosh AKA Big Mac, Applejack and Applebloom," read Spike.
"Howdy, partner."
Spike looks up and see Applejack wearing white and green button up shirt, jeans skirt with brown belt that has apple on the front, brown boots and Stetson hat.
"Hello, my name is Spike and I am here to find work," said Spike.
"You're in luck. We need workers for incoming Apple season," said Applejack.
"Then, I'll be glad to help. When will I start?" asked Spike.
"Meet me here tomorrow before sunrise. I will guide you from there," said Applejack.
"Thank you," said Spike as both of them shake their hands.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash lands at Fluttershy's cottage as she walks in.
"Shy? Where are you?" asked Rainbow.
She walks up in the stairs and sees Fluttershy covers herself in blanket, shivering in fear. She sighs.
"What's wrong, Shy?" asked Rainbow.
"Dragon. Eating me," said Fluttershy, shivering in fear.
"Don't worry, Shy. He won't eat you. Not in my watch," said Rainbow.
Back to our protagonist, Spike walks towards Golden Oak library.
"Golden Oak library. Owned by Twilight Sparkle, mom's student. I remember meeting her a few times when both of us are still filly," said Spike.
He stands at the door and knocks it softly. 'Knowing her, I should knock louder' thinks Spike as he knocks again, louder. The door open and Twilight Sparkle looks outside in her magenta pajama. She looks at the dragon and shocks.
"Your High..."
Spike puts his right hand on her mouth.
"Not so loud. Somepony can hear you," said Spike.
Spike pulls his hand out from her mouth.
"What are you doing here?" whispered Twilight.
"Oh you know, finding work, look around, understand what normal ponies do," said Spike.
Twilight Sparkle pulls the dragon in.
Not far from it, Pinkie Pie wearing white shirt with blue skirt and boots looking at the dragon that enters the library. She gasps.
Inside the library, Twilight Sparkle sits in front of Spike.
"So let me get this straight, your mom wants you to find a bride before your next birthday. And you want to find your own based on your criteria," said Twilight.
"Marriage is a lifetime relationship. I need to find a mate that can accept me for who I am instead because of the title, wealth or fame," said Spike.
"I understand what you mean, Your Highness but it is hard to find your mare with your ambiguous criteria," said Twilight.
"My criteria is not ambigous," said Spike.
"What about you list down all the criteria about the mare you want and make it detailed, Your Highness," said Twilight, floating a quill and moves it towards Spike.
He sighs as he takes the quill and ink as he start listing his criteria for the mare he want to be with.
Meanwhile, the mayor looks at the town hall that fully decorated. She sighs.
"Pinkie," called Ms. Mayor.
Pinkie Pie appears beside the mayor, giving a big smile.
"Yes, Mayor?" asked Pinkie.
"You are planning surprise him?" asked Ms. Mayor.
"Of course. I want to welcome him to our place," said Pinkie.
The mayor sighs.
"Just try not overdo it," said Ms. Mayor.
Back to Golden Oak Library, Twilight Sparkle wearing purple blouse, blue skirt and magenta stoking, looks at the list.
"Your list of criteria is sure out of this world," said Twilight.
"Says the same mare that only dating with books," teased Spike.
"Not funny, Your Highness," said Twilight, frowning.
Spike chuckles. The purple unicorn sighs.
"Fine, I will be your advisor about this matter," said Twilight.
"I don't need any advisor, especially from an egghead bookworm mare," said Spike.
"But I am still a mare so I can provide you with insight about mare," said Twilight.
"You mean what you read from a book," teased Spike.
A soft knock on the door as both of them walk towards the door. The purple unicorn opens the door and sees the pink earth pony in front of the door.
"Spike. Come. We all are waiting for you," said Pinkie as she grabs his hand.
"Waiting? What do you mean? What's going on?" asked Spike.
Twilight Sparkle smiles.
"Just Pinkie wants to celebrate your welcome party," said Twilight.
"My welcome party?" asked Spike as he been dragged out.
Twilight Sparkle puts her boots on and follow them.
Fluttershy stands at the corner, drinking. Spike, Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle walk in. Fluttershy cowers in fear at the corner.
Pinkie Pie stands on the stage.
"We here want to welcome our new member, Spike Drake into Ponyville. He may not stay here forever but let's make him feel welcome," said Pinkie.
Twilight Sparkle glances towards the dragon that talking with other ponies. She looks at Fluttershy that still cowering in fear. She sighs. 'That mare can be the problem' thinks Twilight.
Spike stands at the wall near the food and beverages table, looking at the mares that having fun. He hears running as the Trouble Maker Trio AKA Cutie Mark Crusaders stand in front of him; Applebloom wearing green shirt with jeans and sneakers along with her favorite attire, huge red bow, Sweetie Belle wearing pink and white stripes dress and shoe, Scoolatoo wearing black hooded with grey shorts and shoe.
"Hello Spike. My name is Applebloom and this is my best friends, Sweetie Belle and Scoolatoo. Welcome to Ponyville," said Applebloom.
Spike smiles.
"Thank you girls," said Spike.
"So, where are you from?" asked Sweetie Belle.
"I am from Canterlot," said Spike.
"Where are you working?" asked Scoolatoo.
"Right now I am jobless but I will helping Applejack in Sweet Apple Acres and also Twilight in the library starting tomorrow," said Spike.
"Maybe when you're free, you can visit us in our clubhouse in Sweet Apple Acres," said Applebloom.
"I will try my best but I can't promise you that," said Spike.
"Why?" asked Applebloom.
"My first boss won't mind about that but my second boss will complain about my absence since she is kinda rely on me much," said Spike.
The trio begins to yawn. Spike smiles.
"You better head back to your home. Tomorrow is school days," said Spike.
The CMC nods and walk towards the door. Twilight Sparkle walks towards him.
"Have fun?" asked Twilight.
"Yeah. Ponies here are friendly," said Spike.
"Well, you better head home now. You need to be in Applejack's place before sunrise and my place after that," said Twilight.
"I still can wake up early even if I slept late. Always happened in Canterlot Royal Army training," said Spike.
"Okay then, make sure you arrive at Sweet Apple Acres on time," said Twilight as she walks away.
Spike chuckles.
