Earth – Entering Mexico City
The RV rumbled down the abandoned streets of Mexico City, the once-thriving metropolis now a hollow graveyard of twisted steel and crumbling buildings.
The roads were clogged with burnt-out vehicles, the air thick with the stench of death.
Sam, gripping the wheel, scanned the streets. "This place was hit hard."
Pops, chewing on a Snowball, grunted. "More like wiped off the damn map."
Dan, sitting in the passenger seat, stared ahead, his hands clenched. "Tsunami was here."
Trixie glanced at him. “How do you know?”
Dan exhaled.
"Because I know him. And I know he wouldn’t have gone down easy."
The Last Stand
They reached an abandoned military outpost in the heart of the city—the site of a brutal battle.
The streets were littered with corpses, both undead and human.
Bullet casings, burnt-out barricades, and empty gun magazines told the story of a desperate last stand.
Sam knelt by a severed soldier’s arm, noticing a patch on the uniform.
"U.S. Special Forces," he muttered.
Dan stepped forward, eyes scanning the bodies—searching for one face in particular.
But—
Tsunami wasn’t there.
Dan’s heart pounded. “He’s not here.”
Starlight, beside him, whispered, “That means he might still be alive.”
Dan gritted his teeth. “Then we find him.”
The Search Begins
For the next several hours, the gang searched every building, every alley, every possible hiding spot—
But not the hospital.
The massive structure loomed over the city like a rotting tomb, its windows dark, its walls stained with old blood.
Something about it felt wrong.
Dan shook his head. “We check everywhere else first.”
Pops nodded. “Agreed. I don’t trust that place.”
Clues in the Ruins
As they explored, they found clues:
Spent shell casings from Tsunami’s signature .45 caliber pistol
A half-eaten ration pack, still fresh.
A message scrawled in blood on a wall:
"STILL FIGHTING. STILL HERE."
Dan’s eyes narrowed.
“He’s alive.”
Sam wiped sweat from his brow. “Then we keep looking.”
Trixie, exhausted, sighed. “But where?”
Dan looked toward the hospital—the only place left unchecked.
His fists tightened.
“If he’s anywhere… it’s there.”
The gang stared at the massive structure, the air around it unnaturally silent.
Pops exhaled. “Welp. Looks like we’re goin’ to hell.”
Dan grabbed his flamethrower.
“Then let’s knock on the devil’s door.”
Meanwhile, in Equestria…
The enchanted mirror shimmered, showing the darkened hospital.
Twilight frowned. “That place looks wrong.”
Fluttershy shivered. “I don’t like it…”
Rainbow Dash muttered, “If Tsunami’s in there… he’s in deep trouble.”
Celestia, watching closely, whispered—
"They must be very careful."
The mirror flickered, showing shadows moving inside the hospital.
Something was waiting for them.
