Earth – The Arrival of Equestria’s Champions
The mirror exploded with light[, and from its depths, a team of Alicorns and warriors emerged onto the battlefield.
Twilight Sparkle. Celestia. Luna. Rainbow Dash. Applejack. Rarity. Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy.
They had come.
The Titan loomed before them, its grotesque form now reduced—only an elephant-sized core of writhing flesh remained, the last remnant of the colossal nightmare that had terrorized them.
But even this small piece was still deadly.
Twilight blasted it with magic, trying to hold it back. “We have to get everyone out of here!”
Celestia’s horn blazed like the sun, and with a mighty wave of energy, she shielded the group from another attack.
Pops grabbed Sam, pulling him toward the mirror. “Time to GO, boy!”
Trixie, struggling against the pull, screamed, “WHERE IS DAN?!”
Then—
They saw him.
Dan’s Final Decision
Dan wasn’t running.
He was sprinting toward the fireworks and explosives storage warehouse.
Sam’s eyes widened. “What is he doing?!”
Tsunami, still hovering in his damaged Apache, roared into the radio, “DAN, STOP! GET TO THE MIRROR!”
Dan didn’t listen.
He kept running, his breath ragged, his body exhausted—but his mind made up.
He turned, just for a second, looking at Trixie.
Their eyes met.
And he smiled.
A soft, gentle smile.
A goodbye.
Trixie screamed his name, but he was already gone—racing toward the warehouse, throwing open its doors, the Titanic abomination following him inside.
He lured it in, his last act of defiance against the nightmare that had taken so much from them.
Then—he locked the doors behind him.
The gang watched in horror, the mirror flickering, showing only flashes of fireworks and explosives stacked high inside the warehouse.
Then—
The entire building erupted into a massive explosion, sending a shockwave through the battlefield.
The mirror flickered violently.
And then—
It cut to static.
The Retreat – The Unknown Fate of Dan
The gang was forced through the mirror, the last thing they saw being the mushroom cloud of flames consuming the warehouse.
Trixie kicked and screamed, trying to run back—but it was too late.
The portal closed behind them, sealing them off from the human world.
They were back in Equestria.
Safe.
But Dan was gone.
Trixie, sobbing, pounded her hooves against the mirror. “SHOW ME HIM! SHOW ME ANYTHING!”
But the mirror remained dark.
Dan’s fate was unknown.
And that was the cruelest ending of all.
Epilogue: The Silence After the Storm
The gang stood in Twilight’s castle, their bodies shaking, their faces pale.
Sam collapsed onto a chair, staring blankly at the ground.
Tsunami clenched his fists. “He… he knew what he was doing.”
Pops swallowed hard. “Damn fool… saved our asses.”
Starlight wiped her tears. “But… he’s gone.”
Trixie stood frozen, her hooves trembling, staring into the empty mirror.
Twilight placed a hoof on her shoulder, but Trixie whispered—
“He promised I wouldn’t lose him.”
Her voice broke.
And for the first time, the Great and Powerful Trixie collapsed onto her knees, her body shaking with grief.
The only sound in the room…
Was silence.
The world was saved.
But at what cost?
And somewhere, in the ruins of Mexico City, beneath the ashes of the explosion…
A single flaming ember still burned.
The question remained.
Was Dan really gone?
Or was this just the beginning of another story?
