A Little Pony Legend: A New Friend

The next day, Crystal woke up and was greeted by Litleo and Shinx. “Hey you guys.” she greeted.

“Litleo?”

“Shinx?”

“I’m okay you guys, really.” Crystal reassured with a small smile. Crystal got out of her bed and went to get dress. After about 15 minutes, she went to the kitchen and saw Korra and Mako making breakfast.

“Hi Crystal,” Korra greeted. “How are you feeling?”

“I’m okay, Korra.” Crystal replied.

“Are you sure?” Mako asked. Crystal nodded. Korra gave Crystal her plate. It had bacon and eggs on it. “Thank you.”

Crystal sat down at the table and ate her breakfast when Iris came in. “Hi Mom and Dad.” she greeted.

“Hi honey.” Mako replied.

“Hi Crystal, you okay?” Iris asked.

“I’m okay, Iris. I promise.” Crystal replied. Iris smiled and Mako handed Iris her plate and the two girls finished their plates and went off to school.

At the entrance, they met up with their friends. “Hey guys!” Chi called. The two girls cane over. “Hi.” Iris replied.

“Are you feeling okay, Crystal?” Nori asked. Crystal nodded and she went int the school followed by her friends. They went to there class.

“Alright class today we will continue our sparring practice. You will have the same partners as last time.” the teacher said. That made Iris and her friend really worried.

All the students went off with their partners and began sparring. Crys found Raksha again. “Back for another beating huh?” Raksha taunted. Crystal didn’t reply.

“Suit yourself.” Raksha rushed towards Crystal and she dodged and surprisingly kicked her!

“Ugh. So you do have some Fight in you.” Raksha said. She charged Crystal again but she kept high in the air and spin-kicked Raksha and she crashed into a wall. ”So far, so good.” Crystal thought.

Raksha got up and growled at Crystal. “Alright, you’re dead now!” Raksha made an air tornado with her hands and she launched it at Crystal. Crystal stood her ground and she was soon consumed by the tornado.

”I won’t give up. I won’t give up!” Crystal thought constantly. Raksha smirked, thinking Crystal was finished but she got her answer when she began to see a ball of light coming from inside the tornado!

The air spread all over the room and the tornado was gone. The most shocking thing about it was that Crystal was still standing and glowing!

“What the heck! That’s my strongest attack! How could you defeat it?!” Raksha cried in shock. Crystal didn't answer. Instead she thrusted her hand outwards and a lot of wind canned out of it and the wind turned into a eagle!

“What!” Raksha cried.

The eagle squawked and dove at Raksha, it clawed her with it’s claws and rammed her into the wall again. Raksha got up again and charged the eagle.

The eagle sqwacked and flapped it’s wings, creating large pulses of wind. The wind blasted Rakasha and she fell the ground unconscious. Crystal had won!

The wind eagle returned to Crystals’ side, sqwaked and disappeared. Crystal turned around and saw every children in class, including her friends looking at her with shocked and amazed expressions.

“Ummm.... hi.” Crystal said.

After the last bell, the eight friends walked by out of the school and to the palace. “Crystal, how did you do that?” Chi asked.

“Yeah. That... was... AMAZING!” Hiro said. Crystal blushed and replied, “I don’t know, I was just thinking about never giving up and then I started glowing.”

“Interesting.” Iris said.

The gang arrived at the palace and they were greeted by their parents and their other friends. “Children what happened?” Leilani asked. “We sensed a powerful magic burst coming from the school.” Korra said.

“That’s was Crystal.” Akari replied. From there, the children explained what happened and when they were done, the adults were shocked.

“Crystal released a eagle made of wind?!” Mako asked.

“I’m not lying.” Iris replied.

The Equestrian queens were amazed as well. “At least we know she has bending powers.” Luna said.

“But what about the eagle part?” Mai asked.

“I may be combined with her animal magic.” Celestia said.

“So Crystal summon animals that have the power of all four elements?” Hiro asked. “AWESOME!”

“Yeah!” Akari replied.

“However, Crystal will need to learn to tame this new ability through study.” Celestia said.

“But we don’t know much about Animal magic, just regular alicorn and unicorn magic.” Iris pointed out.

That’s when Tenzin cane into the room. “I may have something that can help.” He said. Everybody turned to him. “Really?” Iris asked. Tenzin nodded and pulled from his cape a thick book titled ”Animal Magic and Bending for Basics”

“Well that’s convenient.” Rainbow said.

“With this book, Crystal can learn all she needs to know about her animal magic and bending.” Tenzin explained.

Crystal took the book and thanked Tenzin. “Well.. you better get started.” Iris said. However before she could open the book....

ROAR! BOOM!

A loud sound and crash came from outside. “Again!” Hiro said. The gang raced out and could see from the palace a large sauropod dinosaur was in the middle of Harmony City!

It was 33 feet long and 9 feet high. It was yellow and had long spikes on its neck. “What kind of dinosaur is that?” Bolin asked.

“That’s an Amargasaurus!” Crystal cried. The Amargasaurus used its neck to smash building some left and right and used ya tail to sob the same thing. “It’s wrecking the city!” Mako cried. “That thing must be stopped!” Luna said.

“But how?” Iris asked. She got her answer when she saw Styracosaurus racing into the scene.

Styracosaurus rammed the Amargasaurus but the large dinosaur just smacked her away with its neck, sending her into a building, demolishing it completely. “That dinosaur is too strong for it! Styracosaurus needs help!” Crystal cried.

Suddenly, her left arms glowed and a strange object appeared on it.

The dinosaur bracer had six stones inside one for each dinosaur element; Fire, Water, Earth, Lightning, Grass and Wind. Next her right hand glowed and more cards appeared.

Finally, three lightning move cards appear red as well.

“Woah!” Dinosaur cards and move cards.” Crystal said.

“Well you better use them.” Hiro said. Styracosaurus couldn’t take more from the huge dinosaur. “Alright.”

Crystal slashed the card through the clot saying. “Use Lighting Spear!”

Styracosaurus roared and charged the Amargasaurus it made contact and kept high into the air with the dinosaur on its horns. A bolt made of electricity formed and speared the Amargasaurus. It roared in pained and they both landed on the ground. Styracosaurus on four legs and Amargasaurus on its side shaking with electricity. It glowed boy and turned back into a card.

And then Styracosaurus turned into a card as well.

Crystal caught both the cards and she swiped the Styracosaurus one. The dinosaur turned into its chibi form; it had small numbs for horns and it was green and yellow.

“Hey buddy.” Crystal said. The Styracosaurus roared and walked up to Crystal and licked her face. “Aww that tickles!” she cried.

“Ahem.” Crystal turned and saw her friends looking at her as well the rest of the city..... again. Crystal smiled nervously.

Chibi Styracosaurus, which Crystal named, Spark was playing with Naga, Korras’ polar bear and dog hybrid. The two were getting along great. Meanwhile the others were discussing what happened.

“That wa amazing, Crystal!” Bolin said.

“I have to agree that was amazing.” Asami agreed. The others added their own compliments to the battle. “Looks like your dinosaurs are more powerful than we thought.” Twilight said.

“They hold the same elements that we can bend as well.” Korra added.

“So in a way they’re benders themselves.” Akari added. Spark and Naga came in went to their respective owners. “Hehehehe. Hi Spark.” Crystal said. Spark licked Crystal and she smiled.

“Now how about we start on your flight training now?” Rainbow asked. Crystal nodded and then everybody headed outside for Crystals’ first lesson.
