My sister had just left and I thought who could I contact? I needed to get Twilight and Applejack to work this out but I knew Big Mac would do something. It then hit me, Twilight had a brother too, and maybe we could meet.

Wait Twilight has the number on her phone, but that would be locked. I sighed there was only one way I could make this work; I needed to meet with him. I grabbed my bag and some money I had saved. I left our home and walked to Canterlot High Bus Stop. I arrived at the bus stop, I thought (What should I say, hmm there will be shock about the relationship for starters, especially considering the orientation, hmm, I have to be careful how I word it.)

My thoughts were interrupted by the bus driver. I asked “One ticket to Crystal Prep please?”

The bus driver said “Here little miss, be careful though it’s a big city.” I nodded trying to keep the scowl off my face, I felt like he was talking down to me. I sighed and watched as we travelled to the large to the Crystalerium, City of Crystals.

I arrived at Crystal Prep only to realise I didn’t know how to find him. I thought (Maybe the principal would know.)

I saw a sign heading to the Principal’s office. I knocked on the door, I saw a woman with pink hair step out. She asked “Um little girl, why are you here?”

I said “Ah’m Applebloom, sister of Applejack.”

She said smiling “Ah, you’re the sister of one of Twilight’s friends, I’m Principal Cadence.” She then asked “Um, why are you here?”

I mumbled “Um my sister is going out with Twilight and Ah need to speak with her brother.”

Cadence asked “Um, could please repeat that?”

I said a little louder “Twilight is going out with my sister and Ah need to speak with her brother.”

Cadence sighed as she said “Not again, I swear Twilight is terrible at this. Let’s see Moondancer, Fleur, Sassy, Lemon Zest and now Applejack. She has a terrible track record, heck she turned Fleur and Sassy off dating for months.”

I gasped “Oh no, mah sister is going to end up on a long list of disappointed girls and then she’s going to grow up lonely and...”

Cadence said “Not going to happen, I’m not going to let Twilight’s love of tech ruin another girl’s love life.”

She picked up the phone and called someone. A male voice came through “Hey honey, what’s going on?”

Cadence said “Shining Armour, we are having a Moondancer incident.”

Shining Armour gasped “I’ll be right over; I’m not letting my LSBFF ruin someone else’s love life.”

I asked “LSBFF?”

Cadence laughed “It means Little Sister Best Friends Forever.”

I said “Oh, that’s interesting.”

Cadence said “Anyway, Shining Armour is going to pick you up and he’s going to speak to Twilight, we are going to damage control, I just hope your sister doesn't leave Twilight for this.”

I said firmly “She won’t, she loves Twilight with all her heart.” Cadence mumbled something unintelligible.

20 minutes past before the man who I assumed was Shining Armour barged through the door. Shining asked Cadence “Are you coming?”

Cadence said “Sorry dear but I am too busy. You will have to handle this one.”

Shining said “I understand, I will and I love you.”

Cadence replied “I love you too.” I felt a little jealous of Cadence, maybe one day that will be me, in the hands of a handsome man.

Shining Armour said “I’m guessing you’re the sister of my sister’s girlfriend.”

I said “Yes, Ah’m Applebloom.”

He said “Well Applebloom time to save our sister’s relationship.” I nodded. We walked out to his car, it was white and had a mark of a shield on it. It was quite a small car but could fit 4 people in it comfortably. When I got in I saw a game of Dungeons and Dragons sitting in the back.

I asked “What do you do in your day job?”

He said “Well I’m a detective in the police force.”

I asked “Any notable achievements?”

He said “Well there was a time I did meet Daring Doo on a mission with her girlfirend, a bunch of thieves were robbing a museum.” His eyes widened as he realised what he said.

I said “Oh, you mean Fluttershy, yeah Ah know her although she hasn’t been around for a while.”

He replied “That’s weird, I’m glad I can talk to you about it, they did swear me to secrecy even Cadence doesn’t know.”

I gasped “It must be some secret huh, glad Ah haven't told anybody.”

Shining stopped and said “Well, we’re here.”

A voice shouted “Applebloom, where have you been?”

I said “Ah’m sorry Applejack but you needed some help.”

Shining Armour said “Applejack, it’s a pleasure to meet my sister’s girlfriend.”

Applejack shuddered “You ain’t going to grill me are you?”

Shining Armour shook his head with a sad smile “I wish I was, I am a little sick of having to grill my sister on how to treat her girlfriend properly.”

Applejack asked “Really?”

Shining Armour sighed “You are number 5.”

Applejack gasped “Holy s**t.”

I said with a smirk “Applejack, language Ah’m underage remember.”

Applejack huffed “Oh very funny.”

Shining chuckled “Enough with that, we need to speak with my sister.”

The 3 of us walked into the lab. Shining asked “Why does she never lock the door?”

Applejack frowned "Forgets about itas she is too excited for another one of her crazy experiments." Shining Armour nodded in response as we walked.

We entered the lab and Twilight was fiddling with some strange device on desk. Applejack said “Twilight we need to talk.”

Twilight said “Not now, I’m busy Applejack.”

Shining Armour frowned “Too busy for me.”

Twilight turned around and screamed as she hugged him “BBBFF.”

Shining Armour said firmly “We need to have the talk again.”

Twilight scowled “You brought him here to scold me again, Applejack.”

I snarled “Ah brought him here because you are treating mah sister like s**t!”

Applejack smirked “Language.”

Shining Armour frowned “I love you Twilight, you are my LSBBF but I can’t let you keep doing this, this is number 5 and this is going to stop, no more Twilight.”

Twilight sighed “Maybe I should stop trying; all I do is screw up.”

Applejack gave her a big hug “Look starshine, Ah know this is tough but that’s love, Ah love you and Ah'm willing to go through the hardship to make this work. Are you willing to do the same?”

Twilight said sadly “I’ll try”

Applejack laughed “That’s all Ah needed to hear, now let’s go and eat out somewhere nice.”

Shining Armour said “I’m surprised she got through to my sister.”

I said with a smiled “Mah sister is the most honest girl you can find, they will be happy together.”

Shining Armour smiled “I can see that.”
