I was running around the track, I sighed (What was Rarity doing I wonder?)

A voice shouted “Hey Dash.” I backflipped through the air kicking a soccer ball back in their direction.

I said “That’s not funny Lightning Dust.”

She laughed “You just seemed so out of it, I thought I could catch you off guard.”

I said “You know I felt you doing that.”

She snarled “Oh that stupid energy thing, yeah pull the other one. It’s bad enough I had to accept magic but this goes too far how do you expect to believe that nonsense?”

I said “Fine, I don’t need to put up with this. I have had enough practise today anyway. See ya Lightning, disprove this.” I flew back to Rarity’s really fast, I thought (She’s going to have a field day with that.)

I opened the door to see Rarity sitting there sowing some fabric. I asked “What are you working on?”

She stopped and smiled “Hopefully something I can wear.”

I said “Well, let’s go out watch a movie.”

She said firmly “Actually I think you need to do some work first, you have been slacking in your training.” I blinked confused; she said “That sports practise is no substitute for our training.”

I said “Oh.” She then grabbed be me by the arm and dragged me into the training chamber.”

I watched as she activated the machine, I dropped to the floor. Rarity sighed “Are you kidding me, it’s only 10Gs?!”

I gasped “10Gs, I only do 5.”

Rarity snarled “On a good day I’m doing 15Gs, now get up lazy bones.”

I forced myself to my feet and said “Pinkie and Sunset are only going at 10Gs.”

Rarity said “No, I keep tabs and they have recently moved up to 20Gs and Pinkie’s nearing Sunset’s level. We can‘t match that because they have something special.”

I laughed “I’m surprised you’re getting analytical.”

She punched me in the gut hard as she said “How do you think I understand what someone likes to wear, I analyse behaviour of others by looking and discovering what’s going on with them and what they like and dislike. How do you think I make dresses for someone like Applejack and get her to like it?”

I coughed “Good point, man you hit hard.”

She laughed “Darling, you are going soft. If that is all you can take I’ll leave a copy to spar with you.” I watched as she duplicated herself, she said “I have to continue with the sowing, I’ll leave you two to it.” She turned off the machine and left.

I asked “So when is she…” I felt the copy’s fist slam into my face. 2 hours past in the chamber, I coughed blood into my hand. I realised I have been slacking off too much in my training, too many naps at AJ’s farm. The clone turned off the gravity and vanished.

Rarity ran up to me, she gasped “I’m sorry, I didn’t think the clone would be so rough. Hmm, I think you need to train more. I want to be able train with you and not leave it to a clone.” I felt quite woozy actually; I noticed my leg was bent the wrong way. I screamed as I saw a chunk of bone sticking out. Rarity lifted me onto her shoulder and she carried me inside then put me on the bed, she had a small bag with a couple of beans. She said “Me, Applejack and Sunset have agreed to keep a couple of Senzu beans on us. Now I’m going correct your leg but this will hurt a lot.” She shoved a solid ball of fabric in my mouth. I bit down onto the ball as she realigned my bone, she then said “Eat this, it will help.” I ate a Senzu bean and smiled as my leg healed.

Rarity kissed me and then we both returned to the shop. Rarity said “I have some ideas for some fun; I pushed you too hard today. I will repay you with some fun.” I smiled giddily, she dragged me into the bedroom and well let’s just say all of Canterlot probably heard us.

The next morning we woke to knocking, after a quick shower the pair of us headed down stairs. We saw Maud standing there, the fact she was panicked shocked us, she was never panicked. I asked “Maud, what’s wrong?”

Maud said “Pinkie has disappeared; she said she had important plans. I have a bad feeling about those plans.”

I opened my phone, I said “Pinkie texted me this morning telling me she’s going to introduce Sunset her parents.”

Maud’s eyes widened more than we thought they could, she shouted “Shit” and bolted out at a speed that reminded me of Pinkie Pie. Rarity said “That was odd” Then her eyes grew several sizes “Pinkie’s Pie’s family is really old fashioned.”

I asked “And, what does that mean?”

Rarity said “They don’t appreciate same sex couples.” I tried to bolt out the door when Rarity grabbed me by the shoulder. She said in a firm tone “First, we are also a same sex couple and would just make things worse, second you still smell from last night. Not enough to disturb Maud but enough to offend others.” I sighed as she dragged me into the shower.
