CHAPTER 10: Moon

“Care to explain yourself star child?”

Exia took a deep breath in his Operator mode trying to breathe in this world wonderful air, the Tenno sat down on his knees as he tries to apologize. “Allow me to say that I’m sorry for hurting Fleur in that clash. I overestimated Nyx Nemesis and didn’t hold back at all, sorry.

The Princes glares at the Tenno and said “Tell her that after she wakes up”.

On the other hand Ordan Karris still wearing the Loki Vapor Specter was scowling at his Operator as he asks “Operator I know you mean well but...” Ordan raise his voice saying “ I’M TALKING ABOUT THAT!!” The Specter pointed at the old oak tree where Nyx Nemesis was impaled earlier. The garden outside the Villa was surreal, the color of the old oak tree with its healthy brown wood and green leaves was transformed into a pure white glowing dead tree and all its leaves are nowhere to be found.

The royal bodyguards of Prince Blueblood are wearing Hazmat suits while putting radioactive warning signs around the garden.

The Tenno laugh it off as “No worries that’s only temporary”

On the other hand the Princess was crossing her arms, absolutely piss at the Tenno “Any particular reason why you skewered my friend and tried to corrupt her?”

The Tenno was sweating as all eyes was on him (Maybe If I activated Lotus before entering this planet I could have avoided all this *he sighted* too late now) “When I was fighting with Fleur, she ask me to remove the javelin that impaled her so I summoned a void fissure to save her.”

Fate didn’t like the answer so she reach into her pockets and showed the Tenno a Riven Mod and using her other hand she pulls out a pair of sharp scissors “Start making some sense or else”

Exia was alarm by the threat and quickly explained “Fleur describe my third ability as a Javelin while most people mistake it for a Spear that’s why I was sure whoever was controlling Fleur is from the Origin System so to save her I summoned a void fissure to corrupt the Nyx Nemesis while at the same time disrupting that outside control. What happened to her was something I did not expect.”

Fate raised an eye brow for a second then the Tenno carried on his explanation “Fleur was under the influence of the enemy so I had no choice but don’t worry I task Ordis to pin point where that signal came from and deal with it and as for Fleur she’s fine, the side effects are temporary I think” ending his words he looks at the Princess with sincere eyes hoping that the Mod would be spared.

Fate put away the scissors and offered the Mod to the Tenno but when he receive it the Riven Mod was lock and in purple letters that says

Warframe Riven Mod

Exia was shock, it was lock? Does he need to return to the Origin System for this? Before he could ponder more his eyes notice something in his Dual Oculus HUD a yellow mark appeared about 845 meters away from his location.

In his HUD for the Operator Mode, Orokin Cephalon Ordis from the Derelict was finish in his analysis and spoke in a serene voice “According to my analysis star child this man made Warframe has been receiving some sort of signal. This signal is registered in one of my Orokin data base. It was last use during the cold war in this world and somehow it has the effect of controlling Fleur’s Warframe and possibly others like it. The data also stipulates that it can...” the Cephalon was somehow holding his breath destroying his serene voice. “These signal its attracting the infested, star child.The infested are here!!”

Alarmed by this news Exia gave the people in the room a concerned look as if this world is coming to an end. The Tenno slowly stood up and with a serious expression declaring “I need to go, Ordan you stay here” as the Tenno disappeared from the room. Excalibur made a unique sound of replenishing its shield. This made everyone in the room aware that the alien Warframe has started to move towards the front door of the villa.

The princess was the first to act calling out to him “Tenno wait”

The door that was leading outside slowly opened and in front of the Tenno was a woman around may be the same age as Fleur de Lis somewhere in her 20’s I guess, the person in front of the Tenno is a woman with kind light opal eyes, her hair has a secretary look with a twirl in her front hair minus the glasses. She has a hair color with light cerise to greyish violet with light arctic blue highlights.

She was holding two giant paper bags full of groceries in her arms. She slowly reach in her satchel with her free hand reading a small note “ok according to instruction at 7:45 standard time open the door and proclaimed” she took a deep breath and shout proclaiming her presence “Vice Captain Flurry Heart reporting for duty Prin” she pause in surprised as she look at the Excalibur with the Pendragon Helmet bathe in the red and black color palette under the immortal skin.

Flurry Heart drop her groceries “ X---” she put both hands in her mouth not saying another word, The Tenno look at her with concern when he notice water in her eyes.

(Did I scare her? No, I don’t have time for this) ignoring the person in front of him the Tenno bolted out of the Villa and made his way straight to the waypoint.

The Tenno ran towards waypoint with unbelievable speed which led him to Canterlot City Park, grass and tall trees are everywhere and a few benches that’s near the path most people walk to can be seen all around, The Tenno close his eyes and compare this peaceful land to his world, to his Earth in the Origin System.

“It’s so different”

Tenno look at the buildings a few hundred more meters away then his eyes look beyond the green and there in the distance stood a tower like office building that look a lot like the Corpus ship in Pluto called PALUS from your universe but in some weird way its position vertically. There in the top of that very office tower was his waypoint.

Exia’s personal landing craft finally reach this country’s airspace hidden in the Stratosphere, The Cephalon contacting the Tenno “Operator I’m in position and ready for *Bzzttt Aaahh BLOODBATH Bzzt* - support by the way I've been thinking, Operator...I thought you'd want to know."

Still focus on the horizon the Tenno ran towards the edge and bullet jumping to the air, a few seconds after the Tenno activates his Archwing, attaching itself towards Excalibur and in a loud sonic boom the Archwing suddenly unequipped itself dropping the Tenno to one of the trees at full force knocking it down with a loud thud sound.

The Tenno hugging the tree in a funny way, slowly slid to the bottom, recovering from his hilarious position the Tennno look at his personal Cephalon in anger “The hell was that for Ordis!?”

“Forgive me Operator that sector of this city is strictly a no fly zone and I can’t have you breaking the rules *Bzzt RULEBREAKER Bzzt* may I suggest a peaceful alternative route that won’t disturb the locals?” Ordis replied in the most sincere tone he could muster.

Exia took a deep breath under his Warframe (I really regret not establishing any peaceful connection towards the leaders of this planet). After a defeated sigh the Tenno speak saying “Your right Ordis going there at full speed might send a different message but seeing you have a better vantage point than me, I trust you but if that building or any of the infested starts a panic, I’m going in the Tenno way understand.”

“Loud and clear Operator, allow me to map out the area for you—Ohh here we are there is a bus station that can transport you towards our destination, would you like me to procure a guide for you Operator?”

Fate’s Villa

Back at the villa Flurry Heart was sitting in the middle of a dark room with one desk lamp facing her is a bright light making it difficult to see everyone else in the room. It seems she’s being interrogated by Princess Fate “X huh don’t you mean Exia? vice captain Flurry Heart out with it, how do you know the Tenno?”

Sweating in her face the vice captain nervously say “P-princess I know you want answers but this isn’t the time”

The Princess suddenly shove the light closer to Flurry Hearts face, The Princes started screaming at her “MY GRANDMOTHER DID NOT TAKE ME TO THE YUVAN THEATER, I’M BETRAYING THE EMPIRE BY HELPING THE ROYAL FAMILY, MY TENNO IS IN A COMA, EXIA CAN CREATE A VOID FISSURES WITH A SNAP OF HIS FINGERS AND OF COURSE THE WORSE PART I FACE THE JUDGEMENT OF THE COUNCIL AND BATHE IN THE JADE LIGHT!”

While the Princess was breathing heavily from all that ranting, Flurry Heart was giving this person the *I don’t believe you look*. The Princess pointed at the white shinning dead tree in garden outside.

Flurry Heart couldn’t believe her eyes she whispers “that’s not possible”

The Princess was giving her this sassy attitude saying “You know what’s not possible? The changing future. It was suppose to be this grand world were the Orokin takes hold of this timeline by sacrificing Equestria to bring back the Orokin Empire to its peak. That was the vision my grandmother had. My life was suppose to be set then everything changed when you Miss Flurry Heart somehow found away to travel back in time bringing my doppelganger with you not to mention beating 4 Tenno on the way here. I mean sure you got a broken horn and one wing left but that’s four Tenno’s FROM THE OLD WAR!!!”

“Uhmm thank --”

“Don’t interrupt! Now where was I going with this? Anyway all I had to do was have my Dax finish you two off and the future of the Orokin Empire is secured but No fucking Not, The future changed when you were about die, I saw a giant female sentient from the Origin System, slaughtering every single life form on this planet.” Fate walks towards Flurry Heart giving her a journal with Sunsets Cutie mark on it but instead of the usual red and yellow there is now a light and dark purple on its other half.

Flurry Heart was confuse, “I thought I lost this, Princess this is”

“A relic from your future or my future, she said to hold on to it. Its from the Princess of Friendship, doesn’t matter open it, still remember that page where your aunt died?” she said.

Flurry Heart gulp down her nervousness as she turns the page, she remember a page in this journal was a giant HELP written in blood by her Aunt Twilight. Nervous to turn the page she wonders if one Tenno was enough to change that horrible future then when the page finally turned no blood just a blank book with nothing on it.

The Princess was acting hysterical as she say “Are your worries finally over, relief that Equestria won’t be a desolate wasteland? Congratulations the book is now blank which means the future has been forever change”

Flurry Heart knew the Princess true personality. The ability to see the future, to change and make predictions, no sane person could handle such a task. So the vice captain had to make sure, she ask “Has it change?”

“Yes it changed I’m not going to die from the Jade Light”

“That’s good news”

“I died from ExiaTrailblaze 6th ability, MOON”

Flurry Hearts eyes were as wide as flying saucer and her very pupils shrink in fear.

“Moon? No that can’t be, his Neutral, Princess why did Exia kill you?”

Fate turned to the shadows in the corner “Ordan please sit come here its stressful as it is if you keep stalking us in the dark like that. Its making me feel extremely uncomfortable and given the circumstance, I’d like to end this now and retire to my chambers after a long day.”

In the dark corner of the room a dark silhouette appears “How did you know I was here” the shadow ask.

Fate made a sad sigh and replied “There was a moment in the future where you say I quote you probably deserve it Orokin end quote”

“Ordan” Flurry Heart said. She looks at him in sadness when she asks “Why are you here?”

Ordan was unsure on how to reply it seems that this Flurry Heart knew too much about the Tenno.

Just like magic the Princess of fate suddenly changed her persona and smiles saying “We are discussing about the future, as you know she’s from the future and I can predict them care to join us it would be our little secret and you can’t tell Exia about any of this”

Ordan refuse “I serve the Operator above all else”

Fate compromises “It’s not really betraying him; it’s a future that may or may not come true”

Flurry Heart was starting to panic “Princess you can’t. Ordis & Ordan are the same person we can’t tell them anything about the future Exia might--”

Fate cut her off by laughing hysterically and tears forming in her eyes “I’m dead either way! Do you know the best way how to change the future by throwing every possible variable into the mix and GIVING DESTINY THE FINGER” Fate put both hands she started to sob desperately.

“Are all humans this inconsistent?” Ordan ask

Flurry Heart look at the faceless specter and replied “Ordan I know you can hide your memories from Ordis and your Operator please at the very least just hear her out”

“You had to say please, didn’t you?” and with that Fate gave them a lifeless look as she tells them what she saw.

“The vision I saw was Exia tied in chains fully bear without his Warframe and in my hand was a small golden Orokin artifact I have never seen before but it has a drawing of a cloudy night sky, a strong wave of the sea and mountain just beyond it. Then the next thing I knew shadows suddenly appeared from the void taking the shapes of every Warframe I know and more, painting the golden halls and marble floors with the blood of my people.”

Fate starts to feel the very demons has set there eyes on her as her bodies go cold and weak, refusing the explain what happens next, she needed to retire and lie down “Forgive me I don’t have the heart to share more details”

Ordan cringe at that statement “There’s more?” Flurry Heart gave Ordan a quick jab “Ugghh”

Flurry Heart move closer to Fate as she gives her a big hug and whispers into her ear “Exia’s 6th ability is SUN and it’s called the Celestial Being.” Fate gave Flurry a confuse look saying “W-what?”

In response Flurry gave her a gentle smile asking “Do you want to hear the story on how Exia save the crystal empire?”
