CHAPTER 9: Skirmish

Princess’s Cottage

Dining Room

After that small skirmish the Princess guides her guest to the dining room table where biscuits and freshly brewed tea was offered. The Princess sat right next to Prince Blueblood who was already enjoying the tea. Fleur stood besides the Prince and Ordan was hidden behind Exia.

The Princess spoke first “I believe that introduction are in order, Exia would you like to go first?”

Exia hesitated in giving his answer thinking that (This would have been unnecessary if we still have Lotus but I need allies I can trust) so the Tenno stand up and made a short bow “I’am Exia a Tenno of gun and blade, wielder of the Warframe armour. Master of the Unairu way and this is my Specter Loki under the control of my Cephalon”

Fleur look at Exia with doubtful eyes because of those titles he mentioned so she leans closer to the Princess and ask the most important one “What’s a Cephalon?”

Prince Blueblood was the one that answered “A Cephalon is an A.I construct made by the Orokin to assist them in all technological aspect”

Surprisingly Ordan Karris appeared behind Exia and replied on Bluebloods answer with a sharp tone and a dark dagger on hand “The Orokin created the Cephalon’s but my Operator made me and his nothing like the Orokin”

The Princess of Fate sipping her favourite morning tea was solemnly thinking on how to ask Exia for a favour while on the other hand Fleur de Lis was glaring at the Loki Specter who suddenly appeared out of nowhere creating unnecessary friction. The reason for this is because Ordan kind of threatened Blueblood just now and Fleur was so busy trying to kill Zacora she forgot the basic of teamwork like tending to her allies wounds.

Leaving your Defence objective unprotected is a grave mistake in any mission.

“Stop glaring at my Specter, Nyx Nemesis (referring to Fleur) it’s your fault for using Psychic Bolts against your allies making them bleed to death. If you used Absorb instead they would only get knockdown and for some reason that suit can’t use revive, better yet you don’t deserve it” Exia mockingly suggested as he drink his tea.

Of course Fleur being a royal guard won’t take that insult lying down “How dare you!! The Royal Family entrusted this Warframe to me.....You knew my Warframes abilities how?”

Exia replied with “It’s because they’re....” but the Specter cut him off and said “Talking to her is pointless Star child; don’t forget why we’re here.”

Exia look at the Princess and then he opened his right palm there a projection of list appeared in his hand, as the projection becomes clearer the words are Training the young, Conquest of Tau, The Missing Craft, An Edge in War, and The Heart of an Alicorn.

Exia viewed his current mission list and because of the circumstances he has to cancel the Training and the Conquest. He needs to focus on Oberon Primes landing craft and the Warframe Riven mods then he notice the last mission title, Exia looks to his Loki Specter asking a question knowing that Ordan and Ordis are connected thanks to the newly acquired Orokin Warship Technology “What’s this quest about an Alicorn Ordan?”

“According to Orokin Cephalon Ordis its part of the research you assigned him earlier today.”

The Princess smiled showing an expression that her plans are finally coming into fruition taking the Specters answer she proclaimed that “Allow me to properly introduce myself I ‘am Fate one of the Orokin Council of Innovators of this Earth and allied to Princess of Faith in Equestria who secretly took my place in the Orokin Council as a spy”

Surprised Prince Blueblood shifted his gaze towards the princess about this news that he drops his tea on his pants and cried “SH****T HOT HOT”. Fleur quickly tried to assist his liege in wiping his wet hot pants.

Exia chuckled for a few moments thanks to the comedic relief Blueblood showed but the room felt a lot colder because of Exia’s sharp look towards the princess and his expression was dripping with killing intent. He asks “Orokin Council of Innovators? Strange Ordan I don’t remember anything about a different council does it have any special meaning for us?”

Ordan turned around and gave his reply “No, it’s still the same Orokin Empire in a different location nothing has changed.” with those words the Specter Loki disappeared along with Exia’s pressure towards the people in this room.

Exia gave his new friends a very sincere smile like nothing was wrong, dissipating the tension and ask “Alright princess what was your mission that you wanted to give me?”

“Call me Fate, I’m not the real Princess”

“Alright Fate, what’s next?”

After finishing her drink the Fate but down her tea cup and stood up, She gives Exia a warm smile and wave her arm at the large wall ornate mirror in the room there using magic, a white portal appeared.

“Let’s go” Fate walks to the mirror and disappeared into the portal.

Exia was the next to stand, using transference he was once again equip with his Excalibur Warframe and walk inside the portal.

Prince Blueblood was still dumb founded about Fate’s introduction and the Tenno’s Warframe so he ordered his aid to “Fleur prepare our belongings and gather everyone to the portal” still gazing at the white magical energy that appeared in the dining room.

While Fleur and the rest of the royal guards were packing there essentials her phone rang. She was about to reach in for it. When a Loki specter re-appeared right next to her, unsure on what was happening she drew her gun with her other hand and pointed it to Ordan Karris.

He simply asks “Did I ever give you a reason not to trust me?”

Defeated by those words she gave him her phone and Ordan begins inspecting the phone. It was coming from someone named pantalon de fantaisie and with a push of a button. He answered the call and in the other line he heard a young male voice that said “Fleur be careful the Orokin send Zacora to eliminate Prince Blueblood you have got to get out of there now.”

Fleur was a about to answer when Ordan covered her mouth and recalibrated his voice to sound someone familiar to Fleur “That’s a shame to hear Pantalon De Fantaisie but I’m sorry to say that Ms Fleur de Lis is already in the obituary.”
Fleur was about to say something when the caller replied “Zacora?? I see, then it’s a shame really, since it’s you who answered then I’m safe to assume that Blueblood is dead?”

Hearing that question broke Fleur’s heart to a million pieces, her eyes becoming dead as a fish and her head was asking the reason for his betrayal. “Why Fancy Pants why, you knew Zacora??”

Ordan Karris look at Fleur and he knew that emotion well, too bad his priority is his Operator ignoring her he replied to the caller “The Prince, the guards are dead such a tragic end with so much bloodshed just because Fleur de Lis knew about the affair with the prince and you.” With that Ordan drop the phone on the floor and shot it with his Spira Prime drilling the phone to the hard wood nailing it in place.

Ordan chuckled a bit and jokingly said “At least I gave them your outlandish motive, you people need that in this day and age right?” Ordan gave Fleur a quick look and in one glance he suddenly realise that this world wasn’t as simple as he thought. “Let’s go Miss Fleur de Lis everyone is waiting for you”

At the same time in a land far away somewhere in the northern lands the Orokin Empire War Council

“The Prince, the guards are dead such a tragic end with so much bloodshed just because Fleur de Lis knew about the affair with the prince and you.”- *connection end*

A group of high ranking nobles and royalties was gathered together much like King Arthur and the round table to discuss about the message they just heard.

One of the nobles wearing a black tuxedo he has blue hair, a monocle in his left eye, and his name is Fancy Pants everyone here knows him better as the fiancée of Fleur de Lis captain of the royal guard for the royal family. He stood up and said “as you all heard Zacora’s mission is a success and by the sound of it she has already set the crime scene, I do hope this proves my loyalty to all of you”

Hidden in white cloak that was shrouding her eyes that you only see half her face making it more mysterious, she was well known for her divine prophecies that aided on controlling this planet. The Princess of Fate, impress by his accomplishment she congratulate first by saying “His death was already certain but I still wish to congratulate you, well done Lord Fancy Pants as always, although framing the captain of the royal guard because of your affair with the crown prince seems unlikely.”

Everyone in the council laugh at that remark including Fancy Pants but he returned his composure and said “Yes, hmm I say that was a bit much but I don’t really complain about the process as long as the result are the same”

In the center of the room wearing a full set of golden armor and a white gold knights helm it was the current head of the Orokin Council of Innovators and son of the late Orokin Executor Don Von Vari was the next to speak “I agree and with that I personally welcome you to the Orokin Council of Innovators Lord Fancy Pants. Cheers”

Canterlot City

Villa Royale

Walking out of the portal Fleur de Lis depressingly walk towards the Prince and the Princess with her head down and dragging her feet into the floor, still as the Captain she gave them a salute and said “Fleur de Lis reporting in that the cottage was compromise because” Her demeanour started to worsen as her eyes starting to form tears. “Fancy Pants desired for your death my prince and now I’m unfit to be the captain of the royal guard.”

Prince Blueblood was about to speak when Exia interrupted him “Good that makes it easier, I don’t know what you did Ordan but good job, that update is really working its magic huh? Anyway Mrs. Fleur de Lis, That’s your name right? (Exia opened his hand waiting for the surrendered Nyx Nemesis) hand it over.”

She wanted to become a Royal Guard because of Fancy Pants, she became the Captain because of him, she accepted his proposal and became his fiancée, with a broken heart none of it matters now, Fleur doesn’t care anymore with a dejected look she slowly unbuttons her shirt surrendering her top clothes, showing her beautiful flawless skin, exposing her pink lace undergarment that was protecting her well plump breast.

Exia was dumbstruck at this view; he couldn’t do anything else. His eyes were glued at a very attractive woman with excellent proportions and lumps of flesh that’s filled with a man’s hopes and dreams. He couldn’t help but just stare at it until Ordis spoke trying to tease his Operator “You’re staring at the wrong objective star child.”

Exia look at Ordan in indignation and grab the clothes from Fleur his face flash a bit of red in his cheeks and screamed at Ordis “I’M NOT STARING!!!” He looks down on the clothes and uses his Helios Prime to scan this skin type Warframe *Ping scan complete* to his disappointment it’s just a normal white shirt.

“Get down!” shout The Princess as she tackled Prince Blueblood in the floor avoiding a blade that was about to cut all of them in half.

(Where’s the jacket?) Exia look to his side at the stumbling royalties and a blade that was already in his waist. *Swiiiisshh* blood splash all over the carpet cutting the Tenno in half.

What happened in the room shock everyone especially Miss Fleur who’s right arm suddenly turned into her melee weapon and before she could say anything she transformed into Nemesis.

The guards around them suddenly drew their guns and Loki intervened *Radial Disarm*

The princess shouts “everybody run!!” and with that the guards and the royalties fled to the next room.

Excalibur came alive and draw his Avasto adual pistol firing a couple of rounds against Nemesis but before they could do any meaningful damage they were all stop mid-air and somehow in a moment’s notice the bullets was redirected towards Excalibur. He did his best to guard against them but they all exploded on his face trying to defend with his melee weapon.

The redirected akvasto bullets took out his shield and life leaving a smidge of his health plus the blast damage was added at the end knocking him down on the floor. That Warframe is nothing like a NYX he thought ignoring for the fact that he got knockdown because his weapon was MOD-ed for blast and puncture.

Loki specter suddenly appeared behind Nemesis and started shooting at her with a Lato. *Decoy*

“Operator I know that Miss Fleur is very attractive and all but being distracted because the enemy was showing a few skins is no excuse for this kind of performance if Teshin was here he would be so disappointed in you right now.”

Under *Invisibility* he was looking at his operator with disappointing eyes, given that the specter doesn’t have a face, Exia could tell because when creating Ordan Karris he has a habit of calling the Tenno as either Operator or Star Child depending on the situation.

“No if Teshin was here he would say quote those who brave the thorn may eat the rare fruit unquote. His shield begins to recharge

From his HUD Orokin Cephalon Ordis said “Please forgive my disrespect star child but Ordan Karris has a point and as your faithful Cephalon I need to point that out because I did mention to proceed with caution earlier.”

Ordan Karris made a chuckle “Don’t look at me like that Ordan you know d*mn well why she’s like this” his Excalibur shields are max. (Don’t engage on an enemy without full shield when playing solo)

As the decoy collapse and disappeared Nemesis notice that everyone was gone and silence field the air. Suddenly the doors to the garden flung open and in response she threw her melee weapon like a glaive, expecting some sort of reaction but nothing happened, As the weapon was about to return to her hand. A presence in her back was filling Nemesis with so much fear.

In his Operator mode he looks at Nemesis and asks “Are you still in there Miss Fleur de Lis?”

Nemesis answered with an arc on her arm followed by a slash at the Operator. Her attack cut nothing *Void Mode* her target disappeared in thin air. Looking for him she was about to turn around when suddenly Exia use Crippling Dash through Nemesis throwing her outside like a ragdoll. Exia used transference returning to his Excalibur and activating Radial Javelin, Impaling Nemesis at a nearby oak tree.

Excalibur with his Galatine Prime walks closer to the impaled enemy. Nemesis unfolded her helmet showing Fleur de Lis breathing more air then she screamed to the top of her lungs “AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!” She gaze at the energy weapon with horror in her eyes, only a few inches more and it could have been her heart. Fleur struggled for a bit as she drop her melee weapon and with her remaining strength she tried to remove the energy base javelin with both hands but it was a bit difficult when her feet are dangling in the air in this old oak tree.

Exia already guess what’s wrong with her but he needs to be sure so he use transference to phase out of Excalibur and ask “ready to give up that Warframe now miss royal guard?”

“Yes, yess you can have Nemesis just pull this Javeline out of me I beg of you Master ExiaTrailblaze please save me” with that the radial javelin disappeared and Exia turned around to call for help.

Fleur de Lis drop to her knees breathing heavily as she tries to catch as much air as she can while the Nemesis Warframe is already working its way healing the hole in her body. Fleur said “Thank you I almost died back there” She slowly re-equip the Nemesis helmet and used the oak tree as a support to stand.

Exia look towards the Villa trying to get everyone’s attention but no one was answering “Don’t worry about it, Miss Fleur besides that’s not your body.” Exia snap both his fingers and in a flash of golden light Nemesis was suddenly trap in a middle of an Orokin Void Fissure corrupting her entire body.
