Logan awoke unable to move, or talk, or breathe. He was completely immobile. Strangely though, he didn't feel like he needed to breathe, but he still wanted to. Logan felt stiff, he wasn't sure if he wanted to breathe more than he wanted to just stretch. On the bright side, he could still feel, hear, and see. All he could see was flowers, grass, and the sky; he could also hear the loud chirping of birds. He was definitely outside, but where? Logan felt grass on his back, but his chest was wet, as if a small cloud had rained on him in just one spot. Then he felt another drop land on his chest with a faint sound. He waited again then felt another drop, this time the sound was much louder and identifiable: a sniffle. It was loud and quick followed by slow stutterd exhale. Somepony was crying. Who? Logan had no clue; once again he wished he could move. The pony stayed for hours untill dusk. A new noise interupted the pony, the crunch of grass from under hoof coming closer. Nothing was said for a while, but the tears kept falling.

"Do you think he's awake?" One asked quietly.

"I don't know," the other responded softly.

"I hope he's okay," the first said, the pony laid down on his chest not even bothering to brush off the tears. He felt comfort from this and wanted to do something when he heard the pony start to cry again.

"Sister," Logan knew that voice, Celestia, and where there was Celestia there was Luna, "It pains me to see you like this, but crying over him won't do anything. We can only assume he's listening, unfortunately he can't move or use magic."

She was right he couldn't move or use magic, but he didn't use magic, he used electricity the magic was just flushed out. Logan didn't think it would work but it was worth a try, and he could feel he had lots of electricity left because he couldn't heal with a stone body. So with that he slowly moved a bit of electricity over his heart. Logan heard a gasp of delight and Luna wrapped her fore hooves around him as much as she could.

"He IS in there," Luna said triumphantly, "Let him out."

"I can't yet," Celestia said, "The medical treatment needs to be set up."

"Just trust me, sister. He can treat himself," Luna urged.

"Does he agree with you?" Celestia asked. Logan sent electricity all over his body he noticed that he could control the wave lengths if he tried and could probably do a song later if he wanted to.

"That's close enough to a yes for me," Luna said urgently.

"I'm sorry," Celestia said, "As much as I trust you, I want Twilight and her friends' opinion. Even though he has helped, he IS a human."

"Uhg Tia why do have to be such a..." Luna searched for the word, "a... a bitch." Celestia was obviously taken aback by this and stood silent.

"I'll get Twilight Sparkle, you stay here with Logan," Luna began to leave but then stopped, "If you even try to hurt him, I swear, to the sun," Luna said the last words so gravely, Logan cut the electricity for fear Luna would do the same if he annoyed her. Luna departed leaving Logan and Celestia alone.

There was an awkward silence so thick that it could have been cut with a knife. After a while, Logan started his electricity up again and began to play a tune unfamiliar to Celestia, though she did find it quite catchy and started to sway her head back and forth to the rhythm. Once he got bored of that tune he started to play a different song. Celestia was unfamiliar with this one too, but she didn't find it catchy, she found it a bit unnerving.

"Can I please have some peace and quiet?" Celestia groaned. Logan stopped, the last thing he was wanted was to get on his marefriend's sister's bad side. Then Logan thought deeper. He was on Luna's good side, and if he got on Celestia's bad side a few things could happen. If Luna was deeply cared and protected him at all costs, Celestia would either give in to Luna or they would get into a fight. If Luna gave in, he could possibly be executed or trapped in stone forever.

Wonderful, Logan thought to himself, I could be the cause of deaths or the dead one. He hoped it wouldn't come to that. Suddenly he heard hoof steps behind him, it wasn't Luna because the sound was very light but there was rustling so the pony wasn't trying to sneek up on him or Celestia.

"Is he going to be okay, Princess?" a small foal's voice asked.

"I don't know my little pony," Celestia replied.

"He helped me at the hospital," The foal said, "I had a paper cut, and my brother broke his foreleg, and he fixed us and everypony in the hospital." The foal was silent for awhile but then left.

"I forgot to tell you that you're in the public gardens. Because all the guards were stuck in a pod or green goop, I had to move you myself. I have no clue how my guards can even move Discord an inch when I could only get you to the public gardens." Celestia said the last few words chuckling. Silence once again ruled the air. Logan wished he could see Celestia's face, he still really couldn't tell what mood she was in. He also wondered how much damage the city had taken.

Luna still wasn't back. At this rate, Logan would be freed in a few months. Hopefully the changelings wouldn't be back soon. Thinking back to when he fought what he thought was the last changelings, there weren't that many. Sure there was a great number of them but it seemed to few. If Chrysalis was planning on invading a capital, she would have brought more. Though the guards did take out a bunch of them, they probably took out more, and just one but end of a spear could knock a changeling unconscious, but presumed to be dead.

I just hope there was a thorough clean up, Logan thought to himself. If there hadn't been, he knew whatever was left over was going to be a pain in the neck.

Finally Celestia spoke again, "I just have to wonder what you would do if you weren't stone. Would you defend my ponies? Or would you attack them like that last savage that was here? Has your kind changed?" Logan understood Celestia's dilemma. Last time a human came here, apparently they tried to take over, but had they changed. From Celestia's standpoint giving him freedom put her subjects at risk, but keeping him in stone would rise complications with Luna.

It's a shame that no matter the evidence, the truth can be just as hard to believe as a lie, Logan thought. Until Convinced otherwise, Celestia was going to keep him in stone. Logan wondered what the rest of Canterlot thought about him, if they had even heard about him at all. He didn't know how long he was out for so word could have spread about him; if it hadn't not much had since he was up at night and sleeping in the day.

Finally Logan heard the flapping of wings, and beating of hooves.

"I'm back," Luna said. Celestia turned to Twilight and her friends.

"Twilight Sparkle," Celestia said, "I cannot make the judgement on the human because I lack experiences with it. From what I have been told, you and your friends are the few who knew this human. For that reason, I leave it to you and your friends to decide, set the human free, or keep him inprisoned."

The six mares looked around from one to another, occasionally shifting their stances from the anxiety. Surprisingly, Fluttershy was the first to speak, "I say let him out, he's done nothing wrong, in fact he's actually helped."

Rarity joined, "I do side with dear Fluttershy on this matter."

Applejack said, "He fought off, timberwolves and changelings with his life on line."

Pinkie popped out from under Applejacks hat, "It's true he fought off a bunch of badies! I need to throw him a proper welcome party!"

Rainbow dash burst in, "Plus he's got powers, making him twice as good, and twenty percent cooler."

"In more ways than one," Luna mumbled into Logan's ear, giggling a little after. He hoped Celestia didn't know about him and Luna, if she did in her current state of mind Logan might as well try to jump off Canterlot and live.

Everypony looked to Twilight who knew her opinion meant most to Celestia.

Twilight began, "Throghout the few days Logan the human has been here, he has acted selflessly even when faced with death. Every care for himself flung aside without a second thought or hesitation; ready to lay down his life for others, and a land he has known for a very short time. He has stopped timberwolves from slaughtering a whole train of ponies, he healed everypony in the hospital without asking for anything in return, and he was the main reason the changelings failed to take Canterlot, and Equestria. He has saved the lives of many ranging from ordinary ponies to a princess. Therefore, it is my opinion that he should be released." Celestia still had a look of uncertainty, "Princess, despite what happened last time a human was here, the past cannot be changed, but only the present will dictate the future."

Celestia looked down at Logan then back at Twilight. "Very well," Celestia said, "I will release him, but if things get out of hoof, it's back to stone." Celestia looked down at Logan and her horn began to glow. Slowly, Logan felt the stone cracking, more and more until he moved and the stone broke completely off. He immediately started healing himself.

As the wound healed less and less blood came out until it stopped and he was fully healed. Logan inhaled deeply as he realized he had been holding his breath for quite some time. Logan stretched his arms and legs first. Then, he sat up he turned his body to the left, cracking his back, Celestia cringed at the sound. She did the same when he cracked the right side of his back.

"Doesn't that hurt?!" Celestia asked.

"Nope," Logan replied.

"So, I must officially ask you this, will you side wiith Equestria?" Celestia asked her tone going grave.

"Yes," Logan replied in an even graver tone.

"You are wise to side with us," Both princesses said at once.

"I bet you don't even know what 'wise' means," Logan chuckled.

"Yes we do," the sisters replied. Logan chuckled again.

"Anyways," Luna said, "Welcome back."

"WAIT!" Pinke yelled, "Welcome... welcome... wel... come... OHMYCELESTIA!IFORGOTABOUTTHEWELCOMETOEQUESTRIAPARTY! I'VE GOT SO MANY THINGS TO PLAN!"

"Why is she always so..." Logan finish by making a googly eyed face.
