A reviewer tells the story of when he watched a play at his school about the banishment of Nightmare Moon. The play starts out pretty bad and derails in a way that he certainly wasn’t expecting.

The story is told in the style of a play review that inserts excerpts of the script in for context. Since I haven’t seen this style of storytelling before, I don’t really have a reference that I can base it off of, so there’s a lot of room to mess up.
