Darkness. why is it always darkness. I had gone to sleep but the darkness always follows. But the air around me is warm why is it warm...

I open my eyes and I see fire raining down from the sky. I Quickly jump to my feet as I get a look at my surroundings. I seem to be by a canyon where the fire is raining the most.

I look to the bottom after walking to the edge. There are goblins, Orcs and fire spirits hard at work. It’s like a giant ass Forge.

At the very bottom it is a pool of lava as bronze, gold but mostly iron is thrown into it.

The amount of iron that is thrown in could fit in entire army. What the hell are they making.

Just then a roar came from the lava. The earth shattered and giant boulders fell into the lava. Some unlucky souls as well.

“are you enjoying the view” said a dark voice 'that Voice I heard it before...' and I shattered. I slowly turned around to see what I hoped not to see.

My copy cat grin as he looked at my facial expression. “Come now don’t be like that, we’re all friends here” IT said.

His... Sharp... toothy grin made me uneasy as his red glowing eyes purely into my soul.

He has a face of disappointment as I do not change my mood. “Fine” he simply said. “Anyways. I did not disturb you just to mock. you should know that there is a being more powerful than you. One where you’ll need my help, But this time I will not be helping you out of good will. you see The war that you have just finished is only the beginning and if you want my help you’re going to have to make me a deal.”

“And why would I ask help from you” I replied. “You’re a monster, you may have done good but I can feel the darkness within you.”

I feel it squeeze around my throat we are lifted up on a platform made out of the earth and rose up to the sky at the speed of sound.

around us the world was getting worse. Instead of it just raining fire it was creating tornadoes of flame. Hundreds of villages were set ablaze by the on slot of fire.

“I was willing to help you just this once but you changed my mind. One day you’ll realize it. This will be the greatest task. Can you befriend the evil inside of you. Or will you watch your world burn. And before you ask this will not be mine doing but yours.

He brings me over to the ledge and drop me as he laughs. I fall faster and faster to the ground as I can see the lava get closer and closer.

was the last thing I hear as I hit the lava.
