Spike 1/2

It was a rainy day in Canterlot, everyone was walking around with their umbrellas and raincoats. Meanwhile, a teenage girl with pink hair in a martial arts uniform was running through the rain, followed by a bugbear. As the girl stopped in an alleyway, she yelled at the bugbear, "Well I still think the whole idea sucks! Picking my fiance without even asking!?" The bugbear swiped at the girl, pushing her into the main street, in front of other people. "Whenever you're ready old man." The girl knocked the bugbear down quickly and retorted angrily, "I'm going to back to Saddle Arabia. So suck on that." and turned around and continued walking, not noticing the bugbear had pulled a street sign from the sidewalk and hit her with it. As the bugbear picked the girl up and put her over its shoulder, it then growled at the bystanders, deflecting their attention.

Meanwhile, in downtown Canterlot, an older man was reading a post card, and was in tears of joy. He called out to his daughters, "Topaz, Mina, Ember, come in here." As three girls came into the room, the oldest wearing a floral blue kimono with green eyes and dark red hair tied in a bun, the second dressed in a black and white kimono with silver eyes and hair tied into a ponytail, and the third in a turquoise martial arts uniform to match her eyes and long hair, the man said, "A very good friend of mine is coming with his son Spike Drake. One of you will be marrying him, to continue our family dojo.

The girl with turquoise hair, Ember shouted, "How is that fair? Don't we get any say in who we're going to marry?"

Mina chuckled and said, "What do you care anyway Ember? It's not like you could attract a boy anyway with your tomboy attitude.

Topaz sighed, "I hope he's older than me. Younger men are so... young."

Mina rolled her eyes and asked her father, "So what's Spike like? Is he cute?"

Their father, Draco stood up and said, "I don't know."

As their father turned around, Mina asked, "You don't know?"

Draco nodded, "I've never met him."

While Topaz and Mina shared a look of surprised, Ember showed pure anger, thinking, "I can't believe this! I'm sure as hell not marrying someone I just met!"

As Draco heard the doorbell ring, him and Mina got up to go get the door, Mina saying, "It must be Spike!"

As soon as Draco opened the door to the dojo, to let in who he assumed was his old friend Astral, he ran back into the living room with Mina in shock of the giant bugbear.

The girl over the bugbear's shoulder struggled, saying, "Knock it off pops! You're scaring them stiff!" When the bugbear set her down, she said, "I'm Spike Drake, sorry about this."

Mina looked at Spike and said, "Oh, he is cute, love the pink hair."

Draco hugged Spike tightly, but soon felt awkward, letting go of him.

Mina noticed why her father felt awkward, and grabbed at Spike's chest saying to her father, "Spike's not a boy, she's a girl!"

Spike blushed as Mina grabbed her breast and said, "Can you please stop that?"

As the family sat with their guests, Mina grumbled, "How did you not know the difference between a girl and a boy daddy?"

Draco sighed, "My friend Astral assured me he was blessed with a boy."

When Mina grabbed Spike's breast again, Ember said, "Leave her alone, she is our guest." she got up and walked over to Spike, extending a hand, "I'm Ember. Maybe we could be friends."

Spike got up and followed Ember into the training room. "Are you sure you want to have a match with me? My dad forced me to train since I was 2 years old."

Ember chuckled, "Mine's no different."

As the two sparred, Spike dodged all of Ember's moves, and when Ember through a punch, she jumped in the air and landed behind her, poking her, ending their match as first touch. "Hey, do you mind if I use your bathroom?"

Ember nodded, "No trouble, it's upstairs, second door on the right."

Spike walked up the stairs. Meanwhile, Astral had returned to his human form and was talking with Draco. Draco was in tears in sync with Astral and asked, "So that's what happened?"

Meanwhile, Spike was pouring hot water over herself, and thought to herself, "It's going to come out anyway. Might as well go out as I am."

She heard the door open, followed by Ember's voice, "Oh, I hope you don't mind showering with-." Ember soon went silent as she saw a person with green hair, who was clearly not a girl. She closed the door quietly and let out an ear piercing shriek, running downstairs into the living room, picking up the table and yelling, "I'll drown him in the bathtub!"

Mina and Topaz looked at their younger sister, Mina asking, "What's wrong Ember?"

Ember growled, "There's a pervert in the bathroom!"

Topaz sighed, "That's odd, I thought Spike was taking a shower."

A boy's voice spoke saying, "I was. I'm Spike Drake, sorry about this." The boy looked almost exactly like the pink haired girl they had met earlier.

As Astral explained what happened, Spike and Ember locked eyes, growling at each other. Spike growled at his father, "What were you even thinking!? You just had to find that training ground, even though you didn't speak a word od Saddle Arabian!"

Astral grabbed Spike's arm saying, "Foolish boy!" before throwing him into the pond in the back yard of the dojo, "We're you not willing to risk your life for the art!?"

Spike surfaced with the same pink hair and breasts that they had first met him with. When his father cried in shame, she jumped out of the water saying, "My life, yes, my manhood is a different story! And you think you've got it bad!? Imagine how I feel! My old man's a bugbear!" kicking his father into the water, turning him back into a bugbear.

In order to stop the two from fighting Draco poured hot water on Astral, who said, "It didn't need to be that hot Draco."

Spike avoided the water from being poured on him saying, "It's supposed to be hot water, not boiling!"

Draco chuckled and said, "Well, your problem's not so bad. These are my three daughters. Topaz is my oldest, she's 19, Mina is my middle daughter, she's 17, and Ember is my youngest, she's 16. Choose whichever one you'd like as your bride."

Mina and Topaz pushed Ember forward lightly, Mina saying, "You'll be a great couple, you hate boys."

Topaz continued, "So it'll be fine, since Spike's half girl."

Ember blushed in anger, "Fine! I'm not marrying that pervert!"

Spike growled, "Hey, who are you calling a pervert, you walked in on me!" before getting up and saying, "I'm going back to Saddle Arabia to fix this damned curse! Oh, and by the way, it's not like I've never seen a naked girl, being one at times. And I'm better built to boot." as he started walking away, Ember picked up the table again and smashed it into Spike's head.

"Now that one he had coming." Astral said quietly

And so begins a love story that, as many, is still better than Twilight.
