Spike 1/2

It was the first day of school. Mina had already left for school, so Ember was forced to walk to school with Spike. As Spike walked up on a fence, he growled towards Ember, "I can't believe I'm forcefully engaged, especially to a tomboy like you."

Ember rolled her eyes, "Don't remind me Spike."

As the two approached the school, Spike noticed a lot of male students standing by the door and as they rushed out, his eyes widened, "What the!?"

Ember sighed, "You'd think they'd learn by now." and ran towards the group, kicking and punching each one of them to the ground.

Spike was shocked at how Ember fought through the group of boys thinking to himself, "Well, at least she's a fighter. That's one of the few things I like in a girl."

Mina called out from an upstairs window, "Hey Spike, don't just stand there, you're going to be late! Ember can take care of herself! She does this every day!"

Spike's eyes widened even wider than they already were, saying to himself, "She fights a mob of boys every day!? Good lord, this isn't going to be easy."

When Ember finished taking care of the last of the boys, she sighed, "Well, at least he didn't show up."

As if on cue, another boy walked out of the doors, with a wooden sword. He looked at Spike and asked, "Who are you? What are you doing out here if you are not to fight for the right to date Ember?"

Spike snickered to himself, then started laughing out loud, "You're kidding me! All these boys are fighting to date this tomboy!? What a joke!"

The boy growled, "How dare you mock the tradition of Canterlot High! I, Bahamut, Purple Flame, will deal with you!"

Spike sighed, "Fine, whatever, if you're going to pick a fight with me, at least try to entertain me. I haven't had a good fight in a while, so hopefully you'll provide entertainment." Spike threw his backpack to the side and jumped up to a wall, "I'm Spike Drake, and I accept your challenge."

Bahamut rushed forward at Spike, slashing his wooden sword at him, only for Spike to dodge.

Spike chuckled as he landed on Bahamut's head, "Your form is sloppy. Your sword shouldn't just be a weapon, it needs to be an extension of your arm. If that's the best you've got, I might as well end this quickly." he jumped off of Bahamut's head to land a few feet away. He held out his hand, palm exposed saying, "You should be honored, I don't normally use this technique on such weak opponents."

As Bahamut turned to see Spike, his eyes widened when he saw a small ball of light forming in front of Spike's hand, "I-Impossible!"

Spike smirked, "What happened to that cocky attitude? Whatever. Take this, Regicide Blaster!" As soon as the small ball of light left Spike's hand, a drop of rain fell on him. As the ball of light hit Bahamut, Astral Shadow ran past Bahamut in his bugbear form and grabbed Spike, running into the shade before anyone could see him turn into a girl.

As Ember met up with them and poured hot water over Spike, she said, "I must admit, I wasn't expecting that Regicide Blaster thing. What was that anyway?"

As Spike turned back into a boy, he explained, "It's one of my special Ki-based moves. Ki is the energy that flows through all living things. It takes years of training for people to manipulate their own Ki."

When Ember and Spike returned to class, the teacher made them stand out in the hallway for being late. Meanwhile, Bahamut was in the nurse's office looking in a hand mirror at the burns he had received from Spike's Regicide Blaster, along with Mina, who had been 'kind' enough to drag him to the nurse while he was out cold. He growled in anger, "I can't believe this... how did I lose to a new student?"

Mina laughed, "He may be new, but I rather enjoyed seeing him slap your shit. Ember's in good hands to be engaged to someone like Spike."

Bahamut dropped the mirror when he heard what Mina said, "Fiance!? He's engaged to my Ember!?"

Mina chuckled, "Yeah, our dad and his dad decided on it, Ember's marrying Spike."

Bahamut got up and ran out of the nurse's office yelling, "I will not accept this injustice!" As he saw Spike, he threw a small throwing knife at him, which he avoided, Bahamut growling, "Drake! I will never accept this injustice!"

Spike sighed, "Let me guess, you're outraged that I'm unfortunately engaged to Ember. If you want another taste of my Regicide Blaster, follow me." Spike ran off through the hallway, followed by Bahamut. As soon as Spike saw an open window, he climbed onto it and said, "Here's a shortcut!" and jumped out of the window.

As Bahamut followed, Ember looked out the window yelling, "Are you insane!? This is the third-floor you moron!"

Spike chuckled, "I've survived higher falls than thi-" when he noticed he was about to fall into a pool, he screamed, "Shit! Water, why did it have to be water!?"

As Spike and Bahamut fell into the pool, Spike tried to swim away, when Bahamut grabbed at him, and accidentally squeezed on of his breasts. Spike dragged him to the bottom of the pool and slammed him against the floor of the pool before jumping out of the pool himself, "You're gonna regret that Bahamut! Regicide Blaster!" as he was jumping out of the pool, he sent another Regicide Blaster at the surfacing Bahamut.

As Bahamut surfaced, he thought to himself, "That pink-haired girl... she's amazing... her version of Drake's Regicide Blaster though... it felt... different, softer, more graceful and elegant. A cowardly brute like Drake could never hope to achieve such a thing." He got out of the pool and looked around saying, "That coward couldn't have gotten far."

Spike sat up in a tree, wringing his pants out, when Ember came over to him and chuckled, "You weren't really thinking there, were you?"

Spike growled, "What do you want tomboy?"

Ember rolled her eyes, "I was going to be nice, and try to help you, but if you're going to still be a rude jerk, I guess I'll just pour out this hot water."

Spike cursed under his breath, "Fine, I'm sorry. Just hand me the hot water!"

Soon enough, Bahamut came up to them and said to Spike, "Forgive my rudeness back there. I'd like to give you these." throwing a bouquet of pink roses at Spike, who caught them. As he walked away, he said, "It seems I have two loves now... Ember, and the pink-haired girl."

Spike felt himself gag as Ember laughed at him, "Oh come on Spike, let's just go home, he'll forget about this whole thing soon enough, if you haven't noticed, he's not too bright."

Spike growled, "Yeah, whatever. It's just sickening." before jumping down from the tree and walking back towards Ember's house with her by his side.
