In an extremely different timeline, long after the Main 6 have died, Equestria, the Crystal Empire, the Lunar Republic, and others are at war. When the NIRF (New Independent Rainbow Factory) created the first Titan, with a Consciousness, a sapient creature 'piloting' the Titan, the other countries bought & made their own versions to fight each other. A new type of Titan, the Nightmare Titan, is piloted by a thestral of a LR splinter faction called the Lunar Nightmarists. He joins forces with a lost Exoseletitan that had to retreat after his Hive was destroyed by Equestrian forces.
