Pokemon Harmony: A new element

Red felt breeze pass through his hair waking him up. He slowly got to his feet his back aching.

“Sheez, that's what I get for sleeping in the middle of a field, wait this isn't any route I'm familiar with, hey where's my hat!” Red said looking around quickly until he spotted not blowing away in the wind.

“No wait come back!” He cried running after his beloved headwear.

The woke up a young man who happened to be sleeping nearby.

“Ugh what's with all the noise? Wait why am I in the middle of a field!?’” He said getting quickly just as Red finally caught his hat and placed it on his head.

Red quickly tool notice of him.

“Hi, you fell asleep in this field to ey?” Red said with a friendly smile.

“I guess so, but I don't remember going to sleep outside,anyway my name’s Alex,what's yours,” Alex said puts reaching he hand.

“Red,nice to meet you!” Red said shaking Alex’s hand, “ So you up for a battle? How about we use one pokemon each?”

“Battle? Pokemon? Wait you don't mean Pokemon are real do you?” Alex asked.

“Of course they are,why wouldn't they be?” Red asked in confusion.

“Oh um no reason,” Alex said quickly looking flabbergasted.

He quickly looked at his belt and seemed surprised to see six ball clipper to it, four of the had red tops and white bottoms,while one was mostly white with some orange plating,the last one was black and white with a big yellow H on the top.

“Um okay, Let's go!” Alex said grabbing one which showed a holoscreen of the Pokemon inside,which Red couldn't make out from where he was standing.

“Alright let's go!” Red said uncliping on of his own balls from his belt.

“Blazer, I chose you!” Alex said throwing the ball.

“Go, Charizard!” Red said doing the same.

Alex’s ball released stream of blue energy which formed into a giant fire pig. While red’s formed into dragon like creature.

“Whoa! I've never seen that Pokemon before!” Red said looking excited as he got out a small red device and opened it up like a book.

“Emboar, the mega fire pig Pokemon, Emboar can throw a fire by setting its fist on fire with it's fiery chin! It cares very deeply about its friends,” the device said.

“Oh,a fire fighting type, kinda like monferno!” Red said, “ Man I'm sure they'll be the one like that, I mean how many Fire Fighting types can there be,”

“Too many,” Alex dead panned, “Alright who get the first move?”

“I'll go! Charizard use fly!” Red said Charizard nodded and flew into the air.

“Blazer, watch out and use rollout when you see a opening!” Alex shouted to his Pokemon.

Blazer nodded but was hit head on by Charizard sending flying back a few feet, Blazer the rolled into a ball and was the covered in rock before charging charizard, Charizard easily dodge all of Blazer’s attempts to hit him and flew into get air again. Blazer stopped rolling and tried to dodge Charizard attack but was knocked completely unconscious by Charizard’s slamming into him again.

“Welp looks like you still need to train, Although I'm impressed your Emboar lasted that long!” Red said laughing.

“Heh guess I couldn't really expect to beat THE red so easily,” Alex laughed, as he pointed his pokeball at Blazer causing a beam of red energy to absorb him back into the pokeball“So um I guess we should look for a Pokemon Center,”

“Sounds good to me,it would be nice to have someone to hang with on my journey,” Red shrugged.

“Okay,um which direction should we go?” I asked.

“Charizard, can you go find a city of something,” Red said to his dragon( I don't care if he's not a dragon type he’s a fucking dragon).

Charizard nodded and flew into the air.

“So in the meantime let's compare teams, if we’re gonna be traveling together we should know each other's team in side and out,” Red said turning to Alex.

“Right, everyone come on out!” Alex said throwing five of his pokeballs into the air allowing the Pokemon inside to come out.

Now standing before them was a. flying tiki thing,a biped blue turtle, a large red bipedal crocodile,a large blue gray and brown dog,and a huge white dragon with a glowing red thruster for a tail.

“Sheesh I've never seen any of these Pokemon, Pokedex time!!!” He said pointing a dex at the tiki thing.

“Sigilyph, the avianoid Pokemon, the guardians of an ancient city,they use their psychic power to attack enemies that invade their territory.” It said before Red pointed it at the turtle, “Carracosta the proto turtle Pokemon, They can live both in ocean or on land. A slap from one if them is enough to open hole in the bottom of a tanker,”

“Okay next one,” Red said pointing it at the crocodile.

“Krookodile the intimidation pokemon, a very violent Pokemon,they try to clamp down on anything that moves in front of their eyes,” it beeps before it was pointed at the dog, “Stoutland the Big-Hearted Pokemon, it rescues people stranded by blizzards in the mountains.It's shaggy fur shields it from cold,”

“Alright last one!” He said pointing at the Dragon who Alex was hugging giddly.

“Reshiram the vast white Pokemon,This legendary Pokemon can scorch the world fire.It helps those who want to build a world of truth,” it beeped.

“A legendary!? Why didn't you use him to fight me,” Red asked in confusion.

“I didn't know of you had a legendary with you,so I didn't want be dick and used a legendary against you,” Alex said scratching the back of his head.

Red laughed and said, “Come on out Mewtwo!”

“My apologies Lord Frieza I meant know disrespect,” Alex said laughing.

“Um is that a reference or something?” Red asked.

“Oh, it's just he looks like a villain of a anime I used to watch,” Alex explained.

“Oh okay… oh hey charizard is back!” Red said pointing to the Pokemon.

“Cool! Everyone ,except reshy, return!” Alex said throwing four if his balls into the air and jumping on reshiram’s back.

“Alright let's go!” Red said as he jumped on charizard's back and before they took flight, “ Go head and fly to where you found that city or town Charizard!”

Charizard gave out a low roar and they took off across the sky. They flew in silence mostly because Alex gripping as if his depended on it onto Reshiram, with his eyes shut tight.

“Are we dead yet?” He asked after a while.

“No,” Red dead panned.

“How about now?” Alex asked.

“No and before you ask again no, we’re fine we are not going to die, your on a fucking legendary dragon even you do fall off, he would just catch you,” Red yelled at him.

Before Alex could reply the Pokemon flew down causing Alex to scream like a little girl.

They landed in front of Pokemon center in the middle of a large city,with Alex falling off Reshiram, and Red jumping of Charizard and landing on his feet shaking his head at Alex.

“Get up,” Red said grabbing Alex by his arm and yanking him up.

“Ok lets go heal are Pokemon and never fly again,” Alex said running inside after putting Reshy back in his pokeball.

“Welcome to the Manehattan Pokemon Center,how can I help you?” A anthro pony with pink hair said with a smile.

“Well that's unexpected,” Red said in surprise.

“Red were not Kansas anymore,” Alex said.

“Dude, it's pronounced Kanto and not shit Looker!” Red said shaking his head.

“No, kansas the state,” Alex said.

“The what?” Red asked giving him a look.

“Never mind,” Alex said face planing at his stupidity.

“Anyway…. Could you heal our pokemon,” Red asked.

“Ok please but you need to put your pokeballs on this platter,” She said holding up a platter.

Red and Alex put their pokeballs on the platter. Which the nurse took and went into the back room.

Alex and Red silently sat down at one if the tables in the lobby.

“So what now?” Alex asked.

“We’re in a world neither if us knows, it's better if we stick together and try and get as much info as possible, the more we know the easier it will be to navigate this new world,” Red said before going quite to think.

Alex grabbed a magazine off of a nearby bookshelf(thankfully these ponies seem to write in English) and flipped through it.

“Hey look at this m,” Alex said showing red the magazine.

The magazine was fashion magazine that seemed to largely focus on men.

“Huh those guys look kinda girly,” Red said looking at it carefully.

“Weird huh?” Alex said looking confused as he found several other fashion magazines all of the featuring men.

“This might sound crazy,but I don't think the gender roles are the same as in our world,” Red said thinking, “At least that what I think,because one the men if this world seem me to be quite feminine ,and two the fact that male fashion seems to be focused on more than female fashion,”

“That's not exactly the most rock solid evidence,” Alex said shaking his head.

“Yes but it's better not assume things work the same as in our world,ok sorry,but I'm gonna change the topic real quick , how many badges do you have?” Red asked.

“Eight,” Alex said bring out a blue and black case from his backpack and opening it show that it was empty.

“Um dude, its empty,” Red said giving Alex a look.

“WHAT!? But how,when,why?” He said frantically searching his bags.

Red thought for a second before checking the inside of his jacket to find that all 16 of his badges were gone.

“Crap, it took forever took get those badges!” Red groaned.

“Now what are we gonna do!” Alex said banging his against the table.

“Hope this world has gyms and beat them,” Red said shaking his head.

“Im sorry did you say something about gyms?” The nurse asked walking up to them with their Pokemon on the platter.

“Um yea have heard of any nearby?” Red asked.

“Why yes it just so happens that there is a electric type gym right here in Manehattan!” She said as the trainers grabbed their Pokemon.

“Thanks! Alex, grab a couple of town maps from the brochure and let's get going!” Red said as he and Alex grabbed what they needed and dashed out the door.

“Okay were looking for night club with neon lights shouldn't be too hard to find,” Alex said as they ran.

“Right, the map said we should take a left right here,” Red said as they bobbed and weaved through the crowd.

The soon found themselves at the gym where to their surprise and delight the found another human!

“Yo,you there!” Alex called to the young man who preparing himself to enter the gym.

“Oh me? Glad to see a human here. I thought i was the only one.” The young man walked into view. The z ring on his wrist gave off a slight glow. “Im mike.”

“Alex the chosen hero of reshiram!” Alex said with pride.

“And I’m Red the trainer who caught the ultimate pokemon ,Mewtwo!” Red said not to be out done by Alex.

“Well i'm mike, the master of necronamaza!” He laughed a bit. “Red eh?” He looked red over. “You sure look like red.”

“Well ya I am red, pretty sure there is no else like me,” Red said.

Suddenly and orange haired man cane out of the gym with a cocky smile.

“Oh hey Red,I've already gotten my badge and I'm off to get another one smell ya later!” The man said running off.

“So that must be blue, or is his name green? I could never keep that straight.” Mike sighed.

“His name is asshat,” Red smirked.

“Ok no need to be a dick red.” Mike frowned.

“Sorry we get into a lot, he is always one step ahead if me until i beat him,” Ref said shaking his head.

“Anyway,we should probably stick together ya know safety in numbers ans all that,” Alex said butting in.

“I agree, so long as you let me go first in this gym, deal?” Mike smirked.

“He was here first,” Red pointed out.

“Yea I need to go check to see if that pc in the center work anyway,” Alex said with a nod.

“Oh it works, but their is likely going to be one pokemon in it.” Mike said. “Well red, want to see what the aloan champ can do?”

“Now you have my attention,you wanna go 1v1 or 6v6,” Red asked with a smirk.

“You know tecnackly the unova champ,” Alex pouted.

“Try finding out your regions professor is so good with pokemon you have to beat him to become the first cham of your region.” Mike smiled. “How about a 3v3”

“Fine by me,I won't hold anything back!” Red declared.

“We shall see if mewtwo really holds up as the ultimate pokemon. First things first, I think it's fair if you throw first.” Mike said.

“Fine by me, Time to test the waters, go Venusaur!” Red said throwing out a large green dinosaur with a flower on its back.

“Well lets see what you can do. Randy your up!” As mike throws out his pokeball, a tiger wrestler with a flaming belt around his waist appears.

“Oh a new pokemon,” Red said taking out his dex.

“Incineroar the heel pokemon, This pokemon has a violent,selfish disposition. If not it’s not in the mood to listen it will ignore Trainer’s orders with complete nonchalance,”

“Fire dark huh,interesting Venasaur earthquake!” Red said. Vensaur slamed the graund with all his weight.

“Jump up quick!” Mike shouted.

Randy quickly jumped narrowly dodging venusaur’s attack.

“NOW fire punch!” Mike ordered as randy seemed to roll into position.

Randy propelled forward delivering a flaming punch to vendors face.

“Follow it up with darkest lariat!” Mike smirked.

“Venusaur wait for an opening and use sleep powder!” Red said.

As soon as randy started to wind up the attack a bit, venusaur made its move, but to its shock, the spinning motion was enough to keep it away. “Sorry red but no dice.”

“This guy’s good,use vine whip to hold him down,” Red said.

The attacks of them both landed. To Red’s surprise Mike was smiling. “I was counting on that, in a drawn out battle your venusaur would win. But now. USE FLARE BLITZ!”

“Use protect hurry!” Red said.

Venusaur formed a force field around himself protecting himself from the attack.

“Crap, you got me there. Your as good as they say.” Mike sighed. “Why couldn’t some of my challengers be more like you.”

“I know the feeling now hit with earthquake while he’s recovering!” Red commanded.

“Forgive me old friend, but if we are going down, we are taking you with us! Flare blitz now!” Mike shouted.

“Damn it,it's too late to use protect!” Red said as the pokemon collided.

“Venusaur and randy are unable to battle!” Alex declared.

“You did well old friend, now get some rest.” Mike returned randy. “I’m not out of tricks yet. Go Tifa!” From a great ball a werewolf like creature appears.

“Not surprised it's pokemon I've never seen before,” Red said taking out the dex.

“Lycanroc the wolf pokemon, The more intimidating the foe it faces,the more this Pokemon's blood boils. It will attack with no regard to it own safety,” it beeped.

“Rock type huh, get some rest V, Blastoise I choose you!” Red said returning venusaur while bringing out a turtle with water cannons on its shell.

“Of course you bring out blastoise. Lets see if I can pull out a ash or not. Start with stone edge!” Mike said.

“Counter with Hydro Cannon!” Red commanded.

Mike was smirking. “Here it comes. Cancel stone edge into acel rock to dodge!”

“Clever,” Red smirked.

“You should be honored, it's been a long time since i had to use one of these.” Mike starts to quickly do a dance and his bracelet begins to glow.

“What the hell?” Red said in shock.

“Behold my z move! Splinter stormshards!” Mike yelled as the attack started.

“Use protect!”Red shouted.

Blastoise did so, but to Reds further surprise, the move was not fully blocked and did a bit of damage.

“So that can get through protect, interesting!” Red said with a smirk.

“Wrap it up with a stone edge!” Mike shouted.

“Alright fire back with Hydro Cannon!” Red commanded.

“No way, double knock out again!?” Mike moaned.

“Sorry kid, this ain't my first rodeo!” Red laughed.

“Then its up to this. Astra your up!” What could only be described as a lion in a set of armor pops out. “This is dusk mane necromanza.”

“Necrozma the Prism pokemon, This is its form while it is devouring the light of solgaleo. It pounces on foes and then slashes them with claws on its four limbs and back,” the dex beeped.

“Psychic steel huh, welp blastoise has no chance against a legendary ,so come on back pal,” Red said swapping him out, “Lets go Mewtwo!”

He threw an ultra ball out releasing the legendary pokemon.

“Time to end this!” Red declared.

“Now this is what I wanted to see! Start with photon gyser!” Mike shouts.

“Dodge an use foul play!” Red declared.

“Now use sunsteel strike!” Mike countered.

“Use winder room then hit him with foul play!” Red declared.

“Crap dodge it!” mike shouted in painc.

“Too late,” Red smirked, “ Mega Evolve Mewtwo!”

A sphere of light surrounds mewtwo which then shattered showing that Mewtwo was now more female and had her tail coming out of her head like hair.

“You give me no choice.” Light starts to pour out of necronomaza. “Time for you to take your original form, Ultra burst!” Necronomaza starts to change till it's hard to even describe it, and reds pokedex beeps, telling of a type change.

“Psychic and Dragon!?” Red said shock, “Well good thing I taught Mewtwo this,use Ice punch!!!”

“I have never tried to use two of these in one battle, you shall be the first. Behold the z move of a legend!” The act of performing a z move seems to tax mike. “GO! Light that burns the sky!”

“Full power!” Red yelled.

As the beam clashes with mewtwos punch, it starts to win. “GO!” Mike shouts.

“GIVE IT EVERYTHING!!!” Red roars as Mewtwo begins to gain a advantage.

At the last second the beam gives out, and mewtwo lands his punch. “Astra use prismatic laser!”

“Mewtwo recover!” Red shouted.

“Hurry finish this!” Mike roars as astra puts everything into this last attack.

The beam hits Mewtwo head on knocking him to the ground.

“Mewtwo can no longer battle which mean mike is the winner!” Alex declares.

“No way. Huf huf huf, we won!?” Mike gasped in shock.

“This reminds me of my fight with Gold,” Red said with a smile, “Return Mewtwo good job,”

“That was awesome, but it looks like its getting dark ,lets call it a day,ey?” Alex said.

Mike returns astra. “Of course.”

And with that the trio returned to the Pokemon Center for the night.
