Chapters A Thief's Escapade in Equestria
There was a saying that goes, “A man with no talents can be a challenge no one suspects.” It was a saying taught to me by my ancestors. You see, my grandfather became one of the world’s most iconic figures. He stands to be the man who conquers all. But, just like fairy tale stories, the good has to come to an end.
He was executed after his announcement of his communistic ideology. It was a sad end for him but a valiant effort in trying to express his own views on the world. But sadly, others were affected too.
My family got a bad reputation by the society and community. We were all prohibited from entering through malls, businesses, companies, hell even school. I mean, what can I say? After having an iconic figure, a hero, and a pillar of greatness, fall due to the public, there’s nothing much we can do against society. It’s a reality me and my parents had to face….. Even though the past lives to be the past.
Once I was kicked out of school, I had to study everything through the pages of a book on each subject I find interesting. I somehow find that school is more confusing due to the unnecessary examples given by teachers as opposed to getting instant information through examples and questions. I mostly fell into those action pact stories where the main character travels through different cities in search of his loved one or to find an artifact.
Months after the constant belittling and depression, gangs and school delinquents came. They teamed up and barged into my home, stole my shit and attempted to murder everyone living in the vicinity. There, I saw my mother and father get slaughtered and hammered. It was the most disgusting moment of humanity that I've ever witnessed. At that moment, my rage and anger led loose as I pounced out of the closets and began to engage in hand to weapon combat. During my unsocial years, I trained and read about martial arts. I triumphed at the end.
We were all assumed dead and the government closed down our residence. They reopened it a few months later in hopes that other eagerly customers would want to stay in it. Because you know, they need that cash.
That being said, my past was pretty much a shit fest where I witnessed the death of my parents and have to now live by myself at a very early age, about 14 years old. Oh right, I forgot to introduce myself.
My name is Jacob Arvid, or what they call me, Shad. With the skills I gained throughout my silent and isolated years, I’ve learnt the ways of becoming a perfect thief and versatile fighter. I would always bring in a small blade with me whether in my sides or behind my back where it is covered by my trench coat. I always preferred the colour black because it represents the darkness of the night. As cheesy and edgy as it sounds, that’s just how most people feel, don’t judge. I’m a 17 year old kid who grew up in Dallas, Texas, USA.
My trust for others always starts from rock bottom. But, as long as they keep their cool and their promise, I stand my ground and face them as an acquaintance. And no, I don’t have friends because friends who backstab you in the back are not friends. Ever since that stupid day, I’ve been treated like garbage.
Enough of my past, let me tell you what’s happening in the present. I currently stay in the same house my parents were murdered in. Of course, minus the furniture, everything seemed quiet and peaceful. I got my own souvenirs such as a big double barreled-shotgun, knives, paintings, and of course, dozens and dozens of jewellery.
I finished completing one of my client’s tasks and currently plan on taking revenge on that kid who picked on me since third grade. I found it satisfying, having to do things in the name of vengeance, killing for the sake of good, and getting the final word out of those who recognize me before their death. Though, for this one, he will be lucky to see another day.
This kid’s name is Ryan, Ryan J. He has been one of the ‘cool’ kids and a school delinquent. Lost his v-card at the age of 13 and is practically feared by most juniors and seniors alike. He fights like an average dude who would know how to do a strong punch and kick. Getting to meet him in almost 5 years gets me excited. And seeing his face will be priceless.
I stopped writing on my journal and began to walk towards my wardrobe. I took a rather casual attire, a white shirt covered by a dark blue long sleeved shirt accompanied by black pants. Knowing that today was going to be cut short due to some democratic agreement, the school and most jobs would half their time to join the massive flaming debate.
I grabbed a small knife, enough to fit my pockets without puncturing through them. It was weak, but something of use when things get a little hectic. With that, I looked at the time and quickly headed out.
12 pm is the special time for today and right now stands to be 11:30. 20 minutes to look at the school and the other 10 minutes to construct a rather diabolical plan.
It took me less than 5 minutes to reach school grounds. Everything still looked the same, only change was the side paint of the school and some…. Interesting graffiti arts splattered against it. Either the principal has given up on this school or the kids became too rebellious. But, either way, this school is a total mess…
I hopped over a fence and softly landed on the school swimming pool. I never really had the chance to go swimming or had enough time to even find the fun in swimming, so I avoided getting physical with it whatsoever. But, my attention was drawn to the abundance of leaves stacked upon each other floating across the pool.
I sighed and took the leaves out and placed them on a nearby garbage bin. Hey, I can be nice, but more definitively, I still have morals. Aside from all the killing I have to do, I do things for a reason.
The bell rang signalling school dismissal. I heard doors slamming against the wall and quickly students ran for the exit. Smiles could be seen from them all showing the joy of not having to finish school until its destined time.
I stood against a wall and waited for my prey. Slowly as time passed by, a small smile crawled into my face.
Finally, what felt like ages, he showed up…..
His hair was just as fuck-boy as I remembered with his blonde crew cut. Surrounding him were a bunch of girls who just wanted his cash or his tiny dick. Behind him were a group of boys who tried their best to act as cool as him, but failed to do so.
He wore the traditional jockey clothing with sunglasses…… indoors.
Jesus, he needs to learn practicality.
I smirked as they slowly came closer to me. A boy behind him who so happens to be my old friend , looked at me with widened eyes, it was filled with nothing but a jolly good emotion of surprise. It was more surprising to me that he wasn’t showing any signs of disgust or anger.
But, my eyes drifted to the eyes of the kid who ruined my childhood. Our eyes met and he stopped dead in his tracks.
Though, I thought that changing the hair colour and style would help me in keeping my identity. I guess not.
His eyes turned just as huge as the rest of his group, while some gave a rather intimidating glare. Before anything turned mildly awkward, I pushed myself against the wall and came face to face with the boss.
“Well, if it isn’t Ryan J. I see that you’ve grown even more popular since the last time I’ve seen you.” I said with a smirk. At this point, my identity has no place to hide as my voice kind of gave it away.
He shook his head sideways and began to give me a glare of the same confidence, “Woah, I thought you were dead from all those raping they did! I’m guessing you sucked all their cum dried until they died, hah!” He began laughing. That wasn’t even close to a good insult bud.
His buddies behind him began to laugh like crazy. Though, I was unmoved.
“You know, being a dick won’t make yours any bigger.” I commented while keeping my smirk.
Everyone stopped laughing and looked at me with even surprise.
“Hey! I bet yours is tiny!” One of the girls spoke.
“You have no right to talk because you have none, little lady. I’ll have you know that bitches like you end up in sex dungeon being fucked by dogs.” I said coldly.
They cringed and Ryan began making his move.
“What are you here for, punk!” He came closer to me than I would have liked.
“Come any closer and that makes you gay.” I stated.
“You’re the only one ga-!“ He tried to push me but I grabbed and pinched one of his muscle tissues.
“Keep talking kid, you should know how to talk with respect.” I said while keeping my cool with my other hand in my pocket.
“Let him go you fucker!” One of his bulkiest bodyguards came rushing at me with his big fists.
With one swift motion, I slowly angled myself just enough to dodge it and pinched his weak spot as well.
They both screamed in pain and I was enjoying every single bit of it. The rest of his gang wanted to have a go on me but my glare was too much to handle.
A girl from a random group behind came up to me with hands together, “P-Please let him go sir! H-He d-didn’t do anything wrong!”
She looked like an average girl with brown hair and a cute long dress. My glare softened as it met her eyes.
“And why would you think I would do that young lady?” I asked nicely.
“B-Because he d-didn’t do anything t-to you!” She said.
“Hmmm…. It’s been 5 years since that day he tried to stab me with a real knife. I wonder what he did that was nice….”
Ryan grabbed my arm and tried to crush it, but failed as I twisted his already pinched muscle. A few words came out of his mouth, “You and your stupid communistic family should go kill themselves in hell!”
“I don’t know if you’ve ever heard the word ‘change’. It’s rather easy to understand but complex in so many ways. I’m guessing that little head of yours hasn’t changed much?”
Ryan tapped my arm rapidly, telling me to stop and he has given up. I sighed and dropped both him and his buff dude.
“How boring. I thought I could have gotten into a good fight with you but you’re nothing but an attention whore.” I spat.
Ryan didn’t say a word nor did his mates. I walked passed them and barged my way through his group, they made a way for me to go through. I gave one of my traitors a deadly glare before I smirked and waved.
“I’ll be back when I feel like. If I ever see you wearing sunglasses inside again, I’ll make sure to give you a proper beating. I hate kids like you.”
Just like that, my job was done. I was thankful enough that it didn’t get into a real fight. Or else I would have ended up in jail, again. The smirk on my face lasted until I’ve reached my house. If only someone took a picture of that punk, then his manliness would have slowly crept away after a brief exposure.
I opened the lights and checked the time. It read 3:30 pm. I sighed and began to lie on my bed since I couldn’t get any sleep last night. There was nothing in particular that I had to do today after that event. Though, I had a plan to meet up with a client later tonight for more contracts. I personally don’t know these people but they give quite the sum of money, Especially for assassination contracts.
I took my time to relax and even took a short nap. Before I even knew it, the time showed 10:43. I got off from my bed and took a quick shower before wearing my usual black coat, gloves, and pants. I strapped some knife holders behind my legs and smaller ones inside my shoe. Who knows what’s going to happen when you step out. All hell might break lose, a gang might show up, or worse yet, being snitched on. That is why I always come prepared before anything.
I grabbed my phone and began to text my client on the location and money. I’m a guy who has money coming in left and right but most of it was to feed myself and the rest of the people who wanted food. See? I’m a great guy.
The phone I had was pretty expensive which fits in with the popular technological trend of this year.
Before anything else, no. I don’t carry guns because it’s really impractical at night. You don’t know how many times a gunshot almost got me caught.
I exited my house through the back door and got my location. I placed my phone in my pocket and quickly made my way towards the location. I never wanted to be late or have my clients waiting. I usually come 10-30 minutes earlier than the actual time.
I turned left behind the huge abandoned building that used to be an orphanage. I was fond with these kinds of places. They were dark, gloomy, and peaceful. The best kind of place for me.
I stayed and waited like an obedient dog.
I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
But, he wasn’t coming. I felt so annoyed and impatient for the first time in my life. I tapped my fingers on my lap as I tried to think of a beat. I walked left and right thinking of what to do tomorrow.
After 2 hours later, I got a buzz from my phone. I took it out and checked the message. It came from the client.
It read:
Sorry for not coming. I know I wasted your time but that makes it much more reasonable to give you a payment on willing to help me.
Your pay is in front of the orphanage.
I looked at it in disbelief as I practically wasted my time just thinking. Though, I appreciated the gesture of giving the money. The note sounded so sincere but I couldn’t let my guard down just yet.
I walked back to the entrance of the orphanage and there stood a briefcase. A logo on it was a celestial sun. I found it quite cool but a little childish with all those bright colours. I took it without hesitation and sprinted my way back home. I found it suspicious but thankfully nothing happened on the way back.
I opened the door and sighed in relief. I walked upstairs to my room and placed the briefcase on top of the table. Without any patience left, I opened it.
My eyes widened with more surprise and disbelief than ever before. I was speechless but soon enough came out 3 words.
What. The. Fuck.
A piece of paper laid at the centre of the inner briefcase. The words scribbled unto it were unfamiliar and somewhat ancient. But, for some reason, I could read it.
I slowly lifted my hand and placed my finger unto the paper. I moved it across as I read it carefully.
“Hakan vimi igira sinur miopiar…” I read out loud.
Suddenly, a burning sensation radiated from my finger all the way to my body. I fell on the floor with the sudden urge to clutch myself from the burn. I looked at my finger that touched the paper and it glowed brightly. I groaned in pain and soon enough, lost my mind.
I fainted moments later. The burning feeling slowly died down but my eyes were shut and my mind drifted into slumber. The last thing I could think of was…..
What the hell did I just get myself into?
Author's Note
Change of plans. Got motivated to write something like this after watching some edgy stuff. Sorry I couldn't continue the others but hey, this one will have those scenes too.
Hope you guys enjoyed!
A Thief's Escapade in Equestria
There are 2 things that I hated most in life. First is having to face the sun’s blinding light when waking up. Second is being dragged to somewhere without knowing where the hell I was being dragged to.
I woke up that day facing the blinding sun. I groaned as I slowly scanned the area with a morning daze only to realize that the place wasn’t close to home. I was always intuitive, so I assumed that whoever gave me that briefcase, drugged me and dragged me to god knows where.
But, the only question that bothered me was…. Why didn’t they kill me? Better yet, arrest me?
I continued to come up with assumptions and logical reasoning as to why but brushed it off as it was only wasting my time. I picked myself up and began to analyze my situation carefully. The time was mid-day, somewhere around 11 am. The setting that played before me was a forest. It looked a little…. cartoony…. Like everything was brighter than normal. It wasn’t something that I hated, just something that I don’t see every so often. Or maybe it’s just me seeing nature. I have been standing on city streets and corners that I forgot the true beauty of a naturalistic environment.
I sighed and checked my pockets. My knives were still intact along with my phone. I checked my other pockets and a small bump popped out in my pants. I removed the object and as it hits the sun, it revealed itself as the note from the briefcase. Irritated, I crumpled and threw it on the ground, hoping that it won’t disturb me along my adventure back to my cozy house.
That’s what I hoped that’d happen….
Few minutes into walking through the forest, I came across a dirt path that might lead me to civilization. But, being a skeptic, I followed the dirty path hopping from tree to tree. Hours into trying to find at least somebody to tail, the road stopped in front of a massive wasteland.
Bones of whatever remained here were scattered around. There seemed to be what looked like a deer carcass and skulls of a lion. It reeked of rotten flesh and decomposing bones. I was going to ignore this place as it got nowhere close to where I wanted to go. But, a certain voice called out in the rotten vale.
It was sort of mature… No… A kid?
The voice was muffled until eventually it turned clear, “Help please!” It shouted.
Without seconds of hesitation, I ran through the animal carcasses as fast as I could and hopped over a slope to see the seen unfold before me.
My eyes grew wide with disbelief.
What stood on the yellow rotting ground was a monster that would only come out of horror novels. It had blue scales that covered his entire body, spikes that emerged from its back like a Spinosaurus, a snake like tongue, and a massive mouth that caved in an abundance of razor-sharp fangs. Not to mention its size, it wasn’t small, almost the size of a full-grown horse. It walked on its 4 legs with the forearms having massive spikes poking out.
It was staring down at its prey. Its prey that screamed for help. A prey that is…. A colored person with tails and ears? It looked to be younger than I thought. Its eyes wide with agony and horror. Tears flowed down like it was his last moments on earth.
I was speechless as to what I was seeing. It was a situation that I was unsure on what to do. Should I help or should I run? Should I stall or should I defend? Should I take its attention or watch it die?
Before the decision was made, the monster roared and stood back. Its mouth grew wider and wider as more fangs could be seen circling his inner throat. That mouth was big. Hell, big enough to even swallow me whole.
It leaned back and got into position to devour the poor fellow creature that stood in front of it.
I wanted to hold it in and stand my ground, but a part of me kept screaming to fight. For all my years, I killed people for contracts and my own sake of gaining money. Sometimes for revenge. But this time, I needed to use my skills to defend. To defend someone who I didn’t know.
I jumped out of cover and began to unsheathe my weapons. A long sharp knife at one hand and a karambit at the other. I screamed to get its attention as I ran behind it.
“Hey blue shit! Over here!” I shouted gaining both of their attentions. The monster looked at me like it was another of its prey. The creature that covered his face in fear looked at me with shock.
I jumped towards a giant burnt tree and leaped onto the monster’s back. I stabbed it with my dagger and slashed it with my kramabit. The scales were hard to pierce bot was able back out instantly and got ready for round 1. I guess you can call this a ‘cheap shot’, but at this point, I need all the advantage I can get.
The monster roared in pain as blood spurted out from behind his back. The color of its blood was dark blue. But, what caught my eye was the smoke that came with it. I wasn’t sure as to why but assumed that it was toxic or something. I looked at my blades and noticed that they were completely fine. I guess it doesn’t affect metals?
The creature turned his massive body towards me and rushed with a moment’s notice. I dodged instinctively to the left and it got stuck on the slope that I came out of. Holy crap that thing is fast!
It seemed that his jaws got stuck on the sides of the slope and that gave me enough time to aid the downed kid.
“Hey, you okay?” I asked as I checked back on the monster then back at him.
“Y-Yeah, I’m fine.” He said with a bit of shock.
“C’mon get up and find someplace to hide! That thing might be as fast as a bullet train for all I know!” I ordered.
He nodded his head and began to make his escape. I sighed in relief. For the first time in my life, I was able to move my legs and save someone. But I shouldn’t be worrying about that right now….
Because the real fight isn’t over yet…..
I turned around and stared at the monster who had just gotten its mouth out of the dirt. I gripped my two knives and looked at it with a sharp glare. I quickly scanned his body, trying my best to find its weaknesses.
It turned around and came rushing at me with the same speed. I was able to dodge it swiftly. In the middle of rolling to safety, I noticed a giant white spot under its belly. It wasn’t covered in scales and it flailed around like a giant sac.
When we both regained our balance, I braced myself and got ready into position. I had to, in my first time ever, trust in my instincts to kill something. I twirled my dagger around into a reverse grip and held them both in front of me like an X. The monster came rushing at me once more, but this time, it arched its back and opened its mouth wide like he did to the kid before. As it came down, I rolled forward and there I saw the white spot from before. I pierced my dagger into it, making it flinch backwards, exposing its belly even more. Then I began to slash it with my karambit.
Blue blood gushed out as I made really deep cuts into it. I rolled out of the way just in time before it crashed down on the ground. Of course, it roared but I was so tired to even care for it.
I caught my breath turned back to see its body drowned in the blue gooey blood. Minutes later, my adrenaline stopped and a slight burn, that was similar to the burn I got from my finger, radiated from my shoulder. I looked to my side and saw a portion of that blood cover the side of my shoulder.
My eyes widened with agony and my entire right arm trembled from the burning pain. I looked around for any kind of help but shook it off as I needed to take of myself first. Dammit, this shit hurts like hell!
I ripped a piece of cloth from my shirt and clutched my right shoulder in pain as I tried to leave the area and find a less open spot to treat my wound. I stepped over the boundary of the rotten vale and came back to the green grass that I remembered. I leaned against a giant ass tree that gave a ton of shade to hide me well enough from any enemy. I removed the cloth and saw the blue blood evaporate into smoke. Suddenly, the burning slowed down and I was able to catch my breath.
“Holy crap….. Holy crap….” I said out loud in each gasp, not caring to what was out there to catch my voice.
In front of me, a bush rustled. I turned my attention to it with a focused glare. My arm was well enough to be used again as I grabbed my alternative knives from my other pocket. In an instant, I got up on both legs with my knives in the same X position.
Suddenly, the kid from before came rushing out. “P-Please don’t hurt me!”
I sighed and dropped back into leaning against the tree. I looked back at him and carefully analyzed his body. He was about a height of an 8-year-old child. What was most surprising about his appearance was the color of skin… or rather, fur. It was coated white with brown polka dots sticking here and there. He wore plain white shirt with brown shorts. What I found interesting was his courage to even come here in the first place.
“Umm…. Sir, are you okay?” He spoke again.
“Y-Yeah. I am. What about you kid? You seem to be brave enough to even venture out to places like these.” I said.
Oh right, his accent was pretty cute for a kid. A heavy British accent if I may.
“I got lost in the woods when I was trying to get a ball back for my friends! And then that thing came out of nowhere and started chasing me!” He exclaimed.
That was a pretty cliché ‘how I got lost in the woods’ type of thing, but I’ll let it slide for now.
“Calm down kid. You’re safe for now. I don’t know how more are out there, but my guesses are that they are on the hunt for food.” I said.
He looked at me with a worried look, “Does that mean that we’re going to be meeting one soon!?”
“I’m not sure. But, if you could take us back to your town before sun down, we have a better chance of surviving as to now.”
“I-I can try find the way.”
I smiled softly, “Sounds like a plan then.”
He returned it back with a smile of his own.
“When are we leaving?” He inquired
I got up and stretched my body. The burn from my right shoulder was still present but am able to move and flex my entire arm.
“We’re leaving now.” I said.
“What about your wound?” He pointed to my shoulder that had smoke coming out from it.
“I’ll be fine. As long as the blood wasn’t as potent as I expected.” I replied.
He nodded. We were about to make a move on but he stopped and turned around to look at me.
“Before anything else, may I know your name? I’m not very comfortable with somepony I don’t know.” He asked.
Wait, somepony? What does that mean? I’m either tripping balls or actually talking to a half horse half human. Well, pony, since they were way smaller.
“My name is….” I stopped midway and remembered about my identity.
My mouth was left agape as I tried to think of a name.
“Shad….” I finally spoke.
“Shad? That name sounds really cool!” He widened his smile.
“Heh, thanks kid. How about yours?” I asked back.
“My name is Pipsqueak! I came from Trottingham and moved to Ponyville with my parents!”
Ok… Hold on. Trottingham as in Birmingham? And what the hell is Ponyville? Who the hell calls themselves Pipsqueak? If that were me, I’d blame my parents for giving birth to me.
My head ached to the information given to me and the amount of thinking I had to do. To think this was real is just absurd, but the possibilities are endless. I sighed and shook the thoughts out of the way and focused on the main task, getting the hell out of here.
The kid looked at me with a raised brow, “Why do you look so distressed Mr. Shad?”
“I’m… I’m not in distress. Just a little too much thinking is all.” I said as I pushed my temples.
“Well… Okay. The way back to Ponyville should be that way!” He pointed towards a direction.
“How sure are you that it’s there?” I asked.
“I can navigate my way through places like these! Trust me, it’s a skill of mine!”
“Again, how sure are you?”
“Very sure!”
I was very unsure of this but hey, gotta make use of what’s available because I don’t know where the hell I am .
“Alright, let’s get a move on. Time is of the essence kid.” I said.
“Hey! I know that phrase!”
We moved through the trees and came across the previous trail from which I followed. How do I know this? The paper that I crumpled was sitting on a patch of green grass at the far-right side. I ignored it continued to follow Pipsqueak. Along the way, we talked about his past.
Apparently, he was considered a ‘blank flank’ as the symbol for his skills hasn’t been revealed yet. He showed a part of his butt which was…. Very unnecessary, and pointed to where the symbol is going to appear. They are, how you say, a ‘Cutie Mark’. It sounded more of a magic tattoo that will show up on your butt once some sort of special action is done. I chuckled at his story and treated it as some sort of kid’s fantasy. If this is what kids think these days, I will be very grossed out by the upcoming generation. Why does it have to be the butt?
He asked me about my past and I shrugged it off as I changed the topic by pointing to random animals present in the area. I don’t want this kid to know about me….
I wasn’t a smooth talker at all. Especially when it came to kids, I don’t have anything to talk about except for the game of tag that I used to play with my friends back in 3rd grade. I didn’t know what they liked or what they were specifically interested in.
“Say, Mr.Shad?” He questioned.
“Yes, Pipsqueak?” I replied back.
“How did you find me in the first place? If you were roaming the Everfree forest, you must have come from somewhere, right?”
Everfree forest, that’s this place’s name I believe.
I didn’t know how to answer that except for making up an excuse.
“I came from a giant city. I wanted to experience the sensation of being in an environment full of nature. So, I settled on taking a camp in the Everfree forest since that was closest to my location.”
“Camping? Where are your bags? If I recall, tents are like the size of 3 massive trees!” His hands expanded to elaborate the size.
Seriously? How far has the world gone to?
“I left them when I heard your cry.” I answered.
“Well… Shouldn’t we get them? I mean, the sun is still high up.”
“No thanks kid. After that thing showed up, I don’t have the energy left to fight again.” I looked at my right shoulder to notice that the burn is well gone and the blood has evaporated.
“That reminds me! The way you fought that thing was amazing! I’ve never seen anything like it! You sliced something then BOOM! It fell to the ground! But, I kind of looked away from all the blood that came out…” He acted out the fight that I had while walking with his hands crossed like an X. Reminds me of when I was small….
“That was pure instincts and thoughtful thinking. I didn’t know what was happening at that exact moment because it felt so fast your body kind of reacts to it automatically.” I explained.
“Either way, that was so cool! I wish you could teach me how to do that someday! Then, maybe I can get my cutie mark for fighting bad guys!” He was getting excited about his future plans.
I chuckled at his behavior. He sounded like me, acted like me, hell might’ve even had the same kind of personality as me. But, this only applies to my past self. The present me had to take some shots to the exposed heart and heal it right away. It was something that I couldn’t avoid.
Another hour or so passed of walking and the sun was still high up in the sky. I don’t know why, but 5 hours of daylight seemed like 30 minutes. We continued walking and finally came across a gravel path. I sighed in relief that civilization was nearby, but my expectations fell instantly when Pipsqueak said it was only 1/3 of the way there.
A question bugged me about the kid. How the hell did the ball get that far?
I wanted to ask him but wanted to take a rest from all that’s done today.
Another hour or so passed, he continued to bombard me with questions on how I learnt how to fight, who my iconic figure was, and my lifestyle in general.
“One more thing I want to ask you Mr.Shad.”
“Go ahead.”
“What are you supposed to be? I mean, I can tell a hairless ape from a pony, but you’re a mix of both!”
Hairless ape? That’s a little rude. And wait….. Pony? So, my observations were correct.
I wanted to tell him whether he was joking and wearing that ear, fur, and tail as a prank. But, we’ve spoken well enough for me to believe that he was who he is… A pony. An anthro pony.
I sighed and spoke, “I am what you call a human. I assume that you don’t know what they are?”
“Not exactly. We’ve been given lectures in school about Equestrian history and little did they lecture about humans. The only thing I’ve heard was that they lived over 3000 years ago!”
Equestria?
I nodded slowly and placed my hand on my chin, “The possibilities are certain….” I said softly.
“What did you say Mr.Shad?” Pip asked.
“O-Oh, it’s nothing. Just another…. deep-thinking session.”
What if…. This was a new world…. What if I just had to accept that fairy tales are real? I mean, with that thing I fought a while ago, the amount of greenery here as opposed to Earth, and the kid I’m talking to now has no knowledge on humans and their industrial innovations, this has to be a message….
Equatria…. That has to be what his world’s called.
I showed him my phone and asked if he knew anything of the device. He shook his head in denial. I can’t be tripping balls... But, there’s no evidence of my coming here. If I was drugged, I would have remembered who drugged me. The last thing I remembered was that stupid ass letter….. Wait, maybe that has a connection to this. Well, it’s gone now since I left it.
I sighed and tried to shake off all the thinking I had to do and began to create a mindset. A mindset to focus on what’s ahead of me and stop leaping to sudden conclusions. It has costed me before, and I’m not willing to risk it now.
“Hey, Pip. Mind if you tell me more about Equatria’s history?” I said.
“You mean, Euqestria?”
I’ll keep that in mind.
“Yeah, this place.”
“Well, sure. But, I’m going to warn you, I’m not the best in history.” He looked down in embarrassment.
“You did remember that humans lived 3000 years ago, I believe you can tell just the important bits of Equestria.” I reassured.
He smiled and began a lecture from a kid. Apparently, this place is ruled by two princesses who controlled the sun and the moon. I don’t know how the hell ponies even began because he didn’t remember so well, but I understood. I’d have to treat this like a bible with ponies appearing out of nowhere. These two princesses were named Celestia and Luna, wow, very anticlimactic. They were the strongest living beings left in Equestria and uses their magic to rise and fall the sun and moon. I went in disbelief and told him how that was possible. He then talked about the different types of ponies, one who could fly, one who had absolute brute strength, and one who could control magic. Magic? I wanted to ask him but wanted to find out by myself later.
Then there were the 6 elements of harmony, ponies that befit their duties to repent evil as they each represent the elements of laughter, loyalty, kindness, honesty, generosity, and magic. The magic bit kind of confused me but had to accept it either way. They have beaten enormous villains such as that of ‘Discord’, who had the powers to change the plains of space and time. He sounds a little bit too overpowered to me. They all lived in a small village named Ponyville. A little confusion came to me as to why the supposed heroes of Equestria lived in such a tight space when they can solve other dangers such as theft, murder, maybe even rape. But, from Pip’s understanding of Equestria, ponies were made to bring peace and friendship to the world. This meant that all ponies were to abide in peace. It sounded very controversial as there were always those who despises following the rules of certain beliefs. Look what happened to my grandfather, he exposed his idealism and the public despised him because of it.
Anyways, that was the gist of all he said, there were more to the story such as the Princess of love and other shenanigans, but I told him to stop. I’ve had more than enough basic information to know about this world, but reading a book about it would’ve been great.
Finally, what felt like almost a day, we reached a sign that read ‘Welcome to Ponyville’. It was interesting on how they named such a place. If there was a place on Earth named ‘Humanville’, I’d shoot myself in the mouth.
“We’re here Mr.Shad! See you can trust me!”
This was never the case of whether I trusted him or not. I never trusted him from the start and wish not to. But, he trusted me so much and even kept his promise on leading us to civilization. I didn’t know what to say but just had to thank him, for the first time in my life thanking a person… Er, pony.
“Thanks kid, really appreciate it. And by the way, just call me Shad, no formalities.” I patted his head.
“No problem, Shad! Now c’mon! My friends are still waiting for me!” He continued walking.
I followed suit and soon after, a gigantic tree like crystalline castle was in view. I was amazed, shocked almost. But I kept my calm demeanor.
Soon enough, the entire village can be seen. Rows of cottages and some weird designed houses were built to attract the eye. By that I mean literally rape it with colors. The anthro ponies went about doing their chores, buying food, and chatting with each other. A part of me still wanted to see this a dream or some sort of hallucination, but I leaned into what laid in front of me.
Pip ran through the crowd of anthro ponies who chuckled at his childish behavior. I joined the chuckling as I entered and follow soon after. Though, I was uncomfortably gaining so much attention. Some glared at me, others had lust, and the rest went about their daily business. Maybe it was because of my human aspect, or the way my weapons hanged from my body. Either way, I wasn’t welcomed. I mean, it’s not every day you see someone walking with knives on his body.
From the outside, the village looked really small. But once you enter, it becomes a whole different place. The houses were average sized but what peeked my interest was the boutique and cupcake shop…. Though, the cupcake shop was too obvious to notice because it is shaped like an actual cupcake.
Before I knew it, I was lost. I looked around in hopes to find Pip but he never showed up. I felt like a kid who got lost in a gigantic mall in panic of finding my parents.
But, I’m not going to let that stop me from exploring this place. I walked around the village and tried not to brood over the situation I’m in. So, I walked around and tried to make a mental map of the place in case I get left out again.
So far, nobody wanted to talk to me and when our eyes did meet, they averted right away. I was still unsure of what to do except to find the mayor of this county. But, I needed to find Pip first. He may be useful when I want to know certain locations of this place and probably meet some important people while we’re at it. Though, I’m still skeptic about my whereabouts and all of this being a prank. Hopefully my appearance doesn’t blow my cover if that’s the case.
I stopped at a gigantic apple farm that had quite a ton of fresh apples. I never knew big farms still existed. I thought that machines did the work under artificial sun. My tummy growled from hunger and decided to try steal some fresh-looking apples.
I hopped over a fence somewhere on the right far side of the farm and quickly snatched an apple from what looked to be a full-grown apple tree. I wouldn’t want to harm the ecosystem in here so I picked out the fattest apple out of the bunch as it was a sign that it was ready to be harvested. I bit unto it and holy crap…. My mouth has never tasted something so sweet and succulent since my mother’s cooking. I kept chowing down on it until the seeds remained.
After finishing the good treat, I heard a familiar voice.
“Hey! Stop that Applebloom!” Pip’s laughter echoed through the abundance of apple trees.
I squinted my eyes from the same direction the voice came from and lo and behold a tree house hanging from a generous looking apple tree. It had stairs to get on and fences to look almost natural. The house itself was pretty damn big for a tree house. It looked to fit more than 10 small kids in there…. That sounds weird to say….
In front of it were Pip and 3 other girls his age. One had orange fur and magenta emo hair. Another had a bright yellow fur and red long hair with a pink ribbon. The last had a mixture of bright pink and bright violet curly hair accompanied by her white fur. Their attire was sort of casual with the magenta girl having a boyish attire, the red-haired girl had a western vibe radiating from her attire, and the curly haired girl had a more formal attire with a shirt and a short jacket.
I walked over to them as I ate an apple in one hand and placed my other hand in my pocket.
“Hey, Pip!” I shouted to get his attention.
“Oh, hey Shad! What took you so long! I thought you were following me!” He looked at me with a little concern.
“Umm… I don’t know who started running away?” I questioned as I chewed on an apple.
“O-Oh…. Right, sorry about that. I was just so excited to come back home after all what happened today…”
I chuckled and patted his head, “Don’t worry about. I just happened to find you along the way here.”
He smiled back at me.
“Hey, Pipsqueak… Who’s that?” One of the girls asked.
I turned to them and saw them looking at me with wide eyes. Was it because of my charm? Or was it because of my weapon loadout? Either way, they were surprised to see someone like me.
“Oh right, forgot to introduce to you guys. CMC, this is Shad, the person who saved my life in the Everfree forest. Shad, this is the CMC, or also known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders!”
“What’s up?” I offered a hand.
I feel like I’m accepting this place way too easily….
They were hesitant at first, but took the offer after minutes of looking at each other, “Well… If you were the one who saved Pip here, then I guess it’s alright…”
“For starters, would you girls introduce yourselves?” I asked.
The girl with curly pink and violet hair spoke out first, “My name is Sweetie Bell.”
The girl with red hair came second, “My name is Applebloom, howdy do partner?” She greeted me with a warm smile.
The last girl came to me still hesitant. “My name is Scootaloo….”
“What’s wrong young lad?” I raised my brow.
“It’s just that…. You look a little sketchy to me… Something like an assassin on the loose.” She said.
I looked at my outfit and saw it damped with dirt. My blades could be seen all throughout my body. I was the ideal killing machine of the night. I understood where she came from and agreed with her.
“I understand as to why you would think of me as this. I have my reasons but it is not allowed for the public to know. I just saved your little friend here and he led me to your village. Of course, I needed to thank him for his duties and his trust that he gave.” I said.
She looked at me with a hint of relief.
A furious stomp echoed through the apple trees. I turned my head and saw a girl who looked to be just about the same height as me just taller, walk towards us. She had orange fur, a yellow ponytail style hair that was toppled over a western hat, and bright yellow freckles.
I looked at her then looked at the apple I held in my hand. I did this about 3 times until realization hit me. I stole these fucking apples.
She stopped right in front of me with a blazing gaze. I wanted to settle this through negotiation. So, I extended my arm and came through with my attempt.
“Hey, name’s Shade. Sorry about your apples, I felt so hungry so I just-“
“Steal it?” She finished my sentence.
The area around me fell to zero degrees in temperature as I felt some sort of danger approaching.
“You fillies step away from him right now!” She ordered.
The group behind gave me a worried look as they did as they were told. I stood my ground and gave them a simple nod as well as a soft smile.
“Okay… Like I was saying, I wanted to apologize-“
“You be quiet! Ah’ heard what other ponies said about you and what came out was nothing but trouble!”
I began to give her a cold stare. I sighed heavily and spoke.
“Oh... So, you’re basing off your judgements through the views of others?” I questioned.
This lady was getting on my nerves. She was the basic interpretation of anybody who suspected me. And this whole basing off through observation kind of thing? Disgusting. It was something I despised the most.
“Then what are those knives for? A’hm pretty sure you’ve taken lives.”
“What if I did? That wouldn’t mean I’d hurt someone I don’t know.”
“Sis… He-“Applebloom tried to help me but was cut short by the girl who I assumed to be her sister.
“Now is not the time to talk Applebloom! Ah need you and the rest of your group to get to home this instant! This is a serious matter we’re dealing with.”
Just like that, they all ran. Now it’s just me and her.
“So, what are you going to do now killer? There’s nowhere left for you to hide. Ah know this place better than you do.” She said.
“I’ve never killed anyone here. There is no solid evidence that I did. These knives were meant to keep me safe from the Everfree forest. If that’s not the information you want, then what is?” I tilted my head.
Suddenly, a giant red man locked me into a bear hug. I tried to escape but my actions were futile. He was big, large, and muscular. I then see the girl rushing to me with her hands curling up into a fist.
I got ready for the punch as I tensed my body up. But, this punch just went through me like butter. The impact and damage dealt a massive blow to my body. My breathing stopped and I could feel that my ribs were torn to pieces, like a gigantic elephant just stepped on me.
I was released and sure enough fell to the ground like a ragdoll. In the distance I could see a white blur running to me, shouting out words I couldn’t understand. The only words I could make out were,
Leave him alone!

Hope you guys enjoyed Chapter 2! I wanted to do some sort of fleeing method at the end but thought of a more interesting direct approach on how Jacob sees the Elements of Harmony.

A Thief's Escapade in Equestria
The pain was unbearable. It felt as if a giant 500 kg weight just dropped from a height and it somehow landed on me, crushing my torso into pieces. My body felt like butter afterwards and I literally couldn’t do anything but think.
I was dumbstruck and confused.
Did that bitch just 1 hit KO me?
Everything was pitch black. No noises could be heard and nothing could be felt. It was as if I was sleeping while floating. Though I found it pleasing. It was peaceful and nothing much to worry about.
……
…………..
Wait what am I thinking? I just died didn’t I! That fucking horse girl just fisted me right in the fucking ribs!
I flailed around the black vacuum in attempt to find some sort of ground to stand on. Suddenly, a ray of light pierced through the black walls. More rays cracked through the black barrier that surrounded me and I was brought back to what seemed to be reality.
My eyes opened to a ray of light that peered through the curtain blinds. I groaned as I moved an inch up to move away from the blinding light. I tried to get up after a few more minutes of thinking, but strings of lube that was stuck on my arms restricted me from moving.
“What the hell…...?” I said to myself.
I slowly opened my eyes and it scanned the room carefully. I was in what looked to be a hospital. A tiny tube (don’t know what they’re called…) connected my arms to a hear rate monitor that read 72 beats per minute.
My heart raced as a sudden realization hit me.
Everything wasn’t a dream….
The bpm rose to 95 bpm and slowly lowered back down to 72 as I tried to breathe normally and assess my situation the way I usually do.
I mean, I did say that I was going to focus on what’s ahead of me……. Didn’t I?
I wore a white robe that I see most patients usually wear on cases like these. It covered my entire body and the only thing that could be seen wide was my chest. Though, the only thing that concerned me was that it was held by one tie. A breeze ran through my legs and into the bottom of my robe. My little dong felt it which meant that my underwear wasn’t there. I didn’t complain, it is necessary to have patients rushed to emergency rooms for operations and the time to remove the clothing takes way too long.
I looked ahead of me and saw my belongings. My knives and phone were placed on a desk along with my clothes. They looked washed and fixed. I’m guessing that girl now realizes that she almost killed me, which should make her rethink her decision for calling me a killer .
It was stupid for me to even think about her since people like her don’t usually feel a sense of guilt for hurting someone else. But, a question did linger in my head.
Who brought me here?
I then remembered the last person who shouted to me when I fell unconscious. Pipsqueak….
Man, it’s the first time to have someone care for me so much after just a few hours of meeting. He really looked like me when I was small…
My thoughts were disturbed by a knock coming from the door of the room.
“Come in!” I shouted loud enough for him/her to enter.
A girl in a nursery outfit came in with a clipboard in one hand and a pen in the other. Well…. A pony. This confirms that I’m still not dreaming. But damn! That’s one hot body to look at!
“You’re finally awake, Mr. Shad.” She spoke.
“I guess I am.” I replied back with a smirk.
She wrote on her clipboard. I’m guessing it is to record whether I have some sort of amnesia.
“Tell me Mr. Shad, do you remember any past memory before the attack incident?” She asked.
Yup.
“Ok, hold on there, lady.” I gave her a stop gesture.
She looked at me with a raised brow.
“First, I would like to know who you are. Second, I would like to know how I got here. Thir-“
“Please refrain from asking questions for now Mr. Shad. We are here to record your database for the doctors in this hospital to evaluate.” She said with a straight look.
This bitch….
“That doesn’t mean I can’t get to ask a question or two, right?” I raised a brow of my own.
“You may have your chances with the doctor later.”
I sighed, “Fine, ask away.”
“Again, do you remember anything at all before the incident of the attack?” She asked.
“Well, yes. A girl in a western hat punched me in the ribs. I don’t know what kind of steroids she’s in but I’m pretty sure she broke a rib or two. I then heard a child’s voice call me out but that was when I fell unconscious.” I honestly answered.
“Hmmm…. Where are you from Mr. Shad?”
I looked at the floor. I wanted to get out of here as fast as I could so I could try find a way to get back home.
I sighed again and answered honestly, “I don’t know…...”
“What do you mean by that Mr. Shad?”
I gave her a troubled look.
“I’m not from here….” I said softly.
“Will you please clarify that statement?”
I didn’t want to tell her the truth. So, I told her what I told Pip before.
“I-I came from a city close to the Everfree forest. I don’t remember the name….” I answered.
“The closest city to Ponyville is Cloudsdale. Are you not from there?”
Pleas just stop asking questions about myself!
“I-I don’t know anymore….” I laid my head on my hands.
“Do you have a family?”
….
That question…. It struck way close to home. I didn’t want to talk about my past life or even my personal life right now. They are questions that are slowly piercing my heart in all directions.
“No…. I don’t…” A tear fell off of my cheeks.
“O-Oh my, I’m really sorry Mr. Shad. I-I didn’t know you were the sensitive type.”
Take a fucking hint!
I wiped off the tears quickly in embarrassment.
“This is enough data for your results later on. Thank you for cooperating and I wish you a fast recovery Mr. Shad.”
She was about to walk out the door until I spoke out, “What about my questions? When will you answer them?”
She looked back at me and gave a concerned look, “Maybe in about an hour. The doctor will inspect you and there you will have the chance to ask your questions.”
Just like that, she walked out of the room and into the crowded hallway.
I sighed in exhaustion. It’s been roughly 5 years since that incident. I thought that taking the role of a thief and doing jobs for my clients will slowly put that memory somewhere I can’t see. I guess one question can bring it back in full detail.
I placed my hand on my chest to feel my ribs. They were perfectly fine. I breathed in and out slowly and I could feel the bones of my ribs as I inhaled. I don’t know how the hell they do these kinds of miracles but I need to be thankful that I get to see another day.
Minutes later, I got bored and decided to sit upright from the bed and took a peak at the window. I slowly peered through the blinds and saw a different setting than before. The view showed no signs of cottages but giant houses with a pillar holding the roof. Instead of the greenery background, showed white tiles on the floor along with the rest of the structures. Was it a city? Doesn’t look like it…. Something like an ancient kingdom.
“Liking the view?” A male voice spoke behind me.
I turned my head to the voice and saw a pony with dark grey coating wearing a lab coat and some formal clothing. He had a statoscope hanging from his neck, a pair of glasses on his yes, and brown mustache.
“It’s a beauty isn’t it? With ponies going about their business in a vast array of ancient structures.” He said as he walked towards me.
I continued to look at him.
“Name’s Doctor Brown. Full name, Rust Brown. How have you been doing Mr. Shad?” He asked.
“Doing fine, just formulating some questions on what the hell happened to me.”
“Well, now’s your chance to ask away. I have the results of your test papers and if you’re willing to know more about your body structure, I’ll be glad to explain it briefly.”
“Do that after answering my questions, will ya?” I deadpanned.
“Fair enough.”
I sighed and looked at him seriously.
“Firstly, where am I?” I began.
“You’re currently in the city of Canterlot.” He answered.
“How did I get here?”
“You were brought here in a hurry by Princess Celestia. She said you were a special case.”
“And who the hell is this ‘Princess Celestia’?” I placed air quotations for emphasis.
“Why she is the all-knowing Princess of all of Equestria of course! She along with her sister, Princess Luna, raise the sun and moon and govern the city you’re currently in.”
I got confused on how she found me dead on the field or why she would ever consider me as a special case… But hey, as long as I’m alive, that’s all that matters.
“Next, how long was I out?” I continued.
“Well, you were brought here 3 weeks ago. That meant that you were in a state of coma. It’s a miracle that you even woke up so soon.”
3 weeks?
"Wait, how was I in a state of coma? Isn't that due to brain damage or something?"
"After your ribs broke, something or somebody placed heavy pressure on your head. This gave you brain damage but we were able to fix it."
I sighed. I don't know what the hell that fucking western girl or that big buff red dude was thinking but they have seriously injured me. I'm this close to slitting their throats open, thankfully I survived.
“How did I live?”
“Well, with a little help of healing magic, we were able to piece your ribs back together during the surgery. It might take time to fully recover as the magic is still doing its magic .” He chuckled.
I looked at him with a raised brow but chuckled along.
Wait… Healing magic? There’s healing magic here!?
“How does this healing magic work, if I may ask?”
“Well, because magic is kind of an instantaneous process, we chanted a spell that would slowly stick your ribs together. Although magic was involved, the majority of the process was accomplished through physical surgery.”
I slowly nodded.
“Are those all of your questions?” He asked.
“I’ve got one more.”
“Ask ahead.”
“How long will it take for my ribs to heal? And when can I get out of his hell hole?” I asked.
“Technically that’s two questions. The rough estimate time for your ribs to fully heal is about a week or two, seeing as your anatomy is somewhat similar to a pony’s, that being less strong. Also, it is necessary for your ribs to grow stronger than normal to avoid cases like this from happening again. And for the date on your leave, it will be available once your ribs have been fully healed and reinforced.” He answered, giving details.
“That’s all. Thank you doctor.” I said with a sigh.
He flipped open a clipboard, “No problem. Now, moving on to the analysis of your paperwork. It is stated here that you have no knowledge of where you lived before the incident prior to your ribs as well as being a missing family member?”
“I’m not a missing family member, I just have no family. I thought that was clear when I spoke to the nurse previously.” I stated blatantly.
He wrote on the clipboard on which I assumed he changed the statement.
“Well, other than your personal information being unknown which gives us little to no knowledge of your previous medical issues which will heavily weigh on your medical prescriptions, your body sustained well from the impact.”
I sighed in relief to know that nothing else broke.
“But… I’m afraid to say that there was an infection that has been growing in your right shoulder lately.” He said with a hint of seriousness and concern.
My head quickly shot up to him with a look of worry.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked.
I then realized…. I was hit by that blue blood thing that came out from that freaky monster… I looked at my right shoulder and saw it glowing bright blue. Why didn’t I notice that before?
“You were affected by a toxin that is unknown to Equestrian knowledge. We have tried analyzing it during the duration of your coma but it proves to be futile. We don’t know the symptoms as of now, but we have come up with a hypothesis if this continues to progress.”
I looked at my glowing blue shoulder not as a bad thing. In fact, I kind of thought it was cool. But, if this continues going, I might not be able to move through the night like I used to as it was going to give me away.
I turned to Doctor Brown who continued to stare with the same look.
“Continue.”
“As time passes, that infection might spread throughout your body. Once it has reached the brain, it will infect it and soon enough strip your ability to control your own body. Though, this is just an assumption and hypothesis as the kind of cases we have to date are far more different. In brief explanation, it is some sort of a virus.” He finished.
I nodded to what he said. In this situation, I just had to agree with what doctors or nurses say. They had far more expertise in medical terms and I’m kind of forced to do what they say. I always hated listening and following, but as of right now, it’s an exception to the rule.
“I shall be leaving you to rest. I will inform the princess of your awakening and hopefully get to meet you at a sooner time. Pardon me, Mr. Shad.” He stood up and walked out of the door.
I didn’t say anything. I just sat there on my bed, thinking for what’s to come and what I had to accept… Even if it was hard.
It’s been 4 days now and I’ve never been bored in my life. I felt like I repeated the same day 4 times. I was given breakfast which was porridge with some vegetables to give me some of those nutrients for the day. I was given an option to take a quick shower before having my blood checked. I read books about a certain novel and the history of this place that was given to me by the nurse, very admirable. And, I ate the same thing for lunch and dinner. Is this safe? I don’t know. But that was the gist of the passed 4 days since I woke up.
I wouldn’t say that I didn’t enjoy my leisure time in reading interesting books. It gave me a clear understanding to this world’s literature, full history, entertainment, and the fundamentals of magic.
The only things I payed attention to were the types of ponies. Pegasi, pretty clear on what they can do. Earth, ponies like Pip that excel in physical strength. Is that how my ribs collapsed? Unicorns, ponies that excel in magic. Lastly were Alicorns, ponies who excel in all three separate feats.
What was also interesting were the major events that happened to Ponies. Most of them had to do with somebody sieging the kingdom or wanting immense power. Understandable.
On the 5th day of my recovery. I met the doctor again, but he brought in some guests.
“May I come in?” He asked as he knocked on the door a few times.
“It’s open.” I told back.
The door opened to reveal the stallion who checked on me in a daily basis.
“Mr. Shad, here are some guests that want to meet you.” He moved aside to reveal a white girl with rainbow flowing mane. She wore a white dress that skid across the ground. On her head was a golden crown with bits and pieces of jewel on the sides….. Wait…
Is she…?
“Pardon my intrusion Mr. Shad, I would like to have a talk with you if that’s alright?” Her voice spoke.
Whatever I just heard got me entranced quickly. But shook it off just as fast. I didn’t know what kind of aphrodisiac aura she has but it won’t and shouldn’t affect me.
“Be my guest, Ms….” I tried to figure out who she was.
“Celestia. Princesses Celestia if you may.” She chuckled.
Aaah… Knew it.
“Okay, Princess Celestia. What business do you have with me?” I asked kindly.
She looked at the doctor and he immediately gave us the privacy by exiting through the door without a word.
“I’m here to make a deal with you, Shad.” She said in a motherly tone.
Gross….. Is this how ponies get their kindness from? If it is then it’s affecting them in a different direction. If she were a presidential candidate, I’d be the first to give her a finger. Nobody can lead a country through kindness…
“What deal are you talking about?”
She walked around the room and sat on a chair that magically appeared out of nowhere. I kept a straight face as this place has already fucked my head in all directions.
“I want you to stay with me here in Canterlot.” She said as she kept her smile.
I raised a brow, “No.”
She closed her eyes and sighed, “I knew you’d say that.”
“What makes you think you know me, Princess?” I gave her a stern look.
“Oh, I know all about you Shad. Or maybe shall I call you Jacob?” She grinned.
My eyes went wide.
“heh, nice guess. But not right.” I looked back at her with a grin of my own.
She cleared her throat and stood up, “Jacob Arvid. A human teleported to Equestria from the Planet called Earth. Lost his parents at an early age and grew up as a lonely boy. He hates following orders given by anyone and tends to grow violent went aggravated. Is this not true?” She kept her grin.
I looked at her with confusion and shock. My heart began to race as I was thinking of many ways to kill this bitch. I can’t let her tell my past.
“Oh, don’t worry. Your past is safe with me.” She said.
My eyes grew wider…. She knew what the hell I was saying.
“Why of course I know! I am the all-knowing Princess of the Sun!” She chuckled.
I was in disbelief. Something like her can exist and just act so normal right in front of me. I’d expected some sort of banishment or arrest, but there she was… The princess who is looking down on me, laughing at my own thoughts.
I sighed, there was no escape. I was stuck here and nowhere to go.
“Were you….” I started.
“Excuse me?”
“Were you the one who broutgh me here?” I said coldly.
“Yes, indeed. In fact, my request for you to be in Canterlot was-“
“WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT!? ” I screamed in anger at the top of my lungs.
She looked at me, but with a cold stare which pissed me off even more.
“I brought you here because this world needed your help. Is that so much to ask for?”
I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist, “That doesn’t give you the right to fucking bring me here without my consent!”
The plugs on my arms held me back from punching her. But a thought crossed me that. I shouldn’t care and just go for it. Thankfully, I restrained myself.
“I will give you a span of 2 days to think about this offer. If you’re willing to accept, I will inform you with further details about how you would live here. If you decline, we will let you choose by execution or lifetime in the dungeon.” She said as she walked towards the door.
She opened it, “Your choice, Jacob.”
She walked out and the door slowly closed by itself.
I glared at her but needed to stay cool, calm, and collected. I placed my head on my hand and sighed in annoyance.
I got my choice....
And why are all women bitches?

A Thief's Escapade in Equestria
The week passed rather quickly. I don’t particularly know what date it is but I’d say I spent well over 168 hours on reading books given to me by the nurses. I don’t know why they gave it to me but one of the reasons I got out was that I was bored. Pretty generous in their part.
“And they lived happily ever after.” I read out loud before closing the book and setting it aside.
I sighed heavily. Is this what’s like to be in a hospital for life? Just sitting down watching, reading, talking, and the cycle repeats itself for the next god knows how many days.
I then remembered the offer given to me by the shitty princess. She said that she will give me a span of 2 days before forcing an agreement herself. Boy it has been a week........If she can’t even get an appointment with me just for one quick answer, I don’t know how the hell she handles the entire kingdom! She may be busy considering her princess work, but she threatened me, so fuck her either way.
I lifted my shoulder to see the visible blue light emanating from my shoulder. I didn’t feel any pain when touched. Has it healed? I don’t know. Can't tell and won't be told. Unto my ribs, the doctors said they were healed and more sturdy than before. But I need to avoid a situation like that from happening again.
A knock on my door had my attention.
“It’s open!” I shouted.
Dr. Brown walked in without anything in hand. He casually placed his hands behind his back as he walked in with a calm smile.
“Good morning, Mr.Shad. How’s the night’s sleep?” He asked.
“Not good nor bad. It feels like I’ve slept enough since the day I woke up.” I answered as I cracked my head to the sides.
“It’s not good to get too much sleep. Well, it’s not good to take too much of anything actually.” He placed a hand on his chin.
“Again, It’s not bad nor good.” I sighed.
“Well, I’m here to inform you that you’re free to go. The payment’s been positioned by Princess Celestia. In which, she wants you to meet her at the royal castle.” He said.
I groaned. Well ain’t that great….
“Sorry to say, but I have no knowledge about my whereabouts. I would appreciate it if one of you could show me the way towards the castle.” I requested.
“That shouldn’t be a problem, Mr.Shad. The royal guards just came in early this morning to pick you up, believably sent by Princess Celestia herself.”
An even more reason for me to groan.
“Can I go now?” I asked.
“Of course, you may! Your clothing is right there next to the mirror. You may take a shower if you’d like before you leave. What I’m trying to say is that take your time. We here in the hospital treat patients like a family, equally alike.” He said walking towards the door.
“I’ll be waiting in the main hall. You will get your receipt and medications there.” He exited.
I got up from my bed and walked towards the shower room. I took off my patients’ outfit and stepped inside. I twisted the knob and water began to pour down from the shower head. It turned from warm to cold on random occasions, but that didn’t dissatisfy me in any way. In fact, it felt pretty good. Probably one of the best showers in a long time.
Treated like a family, huh?
The thought got me thinking. Whether the people…. Ponies here, were delusional or living up to the name of “Free Care Free Service”. What if one of the patients turned on the doctor and murdered him without anyone’s notice? Or maybe it was true that ponies are harmonious creatures to bring peace. Either way, I can’t let my guard down just yet.
I got out from my shower and wrapped a towel around my waist. I proceeded to walk towards my clothing. My knives and phone still in the same place as they were before. I removed the towel and quickly dawned my black shirt, hooded jacket, pants, and soon enough placed my knives on their respective pockets. One knife was missing from the bunch. Then I remembered, the fight with that weird monster, causing one of my most favorable knives to be used in one go. But, it was probably for the best.
I looked at myself in the mirror and I look good as new.
I then took a deep breath and walked out of the door. Patients who wore the clothes I used to wear wandered around the sides of the floor. Doctors and nurses could be seen rushing bodies into the infirmary or the operating room. Many looked at me but not many dared to speak a word.
I walked towards the floor receptionist that was in the center of all the crowd. The girl that stood behind the desk had gray fur with a white curly mane. She wasn’t that appealing but the breasts caught me off guard a little.
“Excuse me, ma’am.” I started.
“What can I do for yo-“ She looked at me with wide eyes.
I sighed, “Please don’t fear my appearance, ma’am. I just want to know how to get to the main hall to meet Dr. Brown.” I explained.
“O-Of course sir! It’s in the first floor, right down that staircase!” She pointed towards the door that had a staircase symbol on the side.
Why didn’t I notice that?
I nodded and bravely enough, thanked her for the support. She replied back with a slight blush.
Too easy for a youngster like me.
I walked down until a huge number 1 was displayed at the wall. Next to it was a door that lead to my designated floor. Opening it, the place sounded even more crowded than a gang fight. People complaining, shouting, talking, laughing, and crying. I ignored them and tried to find my awaiting associate.
Soon enough, I met up with him and he began giving me my prescription pills to strengthen bones and all-in-all give my body a stronger immune system.
“This will be all of your prescriptions. Make sure to take it at least once every 2 days.” He advised.
“Sure thing, if it gets me into a stronger state that is.” I said as I stashed it away in my pockets.
“Good luck on your journey Mr.Shad. I hope to see you again anytime soon.” He stuck out a hand for me to shake.
“Drop the Mr. will ya? With a doctor like you, I doubt your patients ever get bored staying at a hospital.” I smirked and accepted his gesture.
He laughed, “Oh please, you don’t know how many patients give me a bored look from my jokes.”
He wiped off a tear, “Well, if that’s what you’re asking, then I’ve got no other choice than to accept. Call me Brown on your part as well if that’s the case?”
“Sure thing.”
We both bid our farewells as I walked out the main entrance door.
What the hell did he mean by royal guards? Are they gonna carry me in some sort of small carriage like a princes-
My eyes went wide with shock. The ride that awaited me was the exact image I had in my head. Two pegasi ponies in golden armor were tied to a carriage that floated above the ground. One of them had a black coating while the other had an orange coating. The hair was covered by their massive helmets.
They both looked at me but the orange one walked towards me.
“Are you Executive Shad?” He asked.
His voice was somewhat young for a military guard for the princess. Maybe somewhere in the range of 19 to 21. Executive? She made me into a really big deal. I just have to play along I guess.
“Yes, and you are?” I asked back.
“I am a new royal guard recruit, Flash Sentry sir!” He saluted.
I chuckled in the inside but kept my normal cold look on the outside. I felt as if he was taking a rather easy job too seriously.
“Who’s your friend over there?” I looked over his shoulder towards the black stallion standing behind him.
Flash stepped aside and the black buff dude came walking towards us.
How long is that rope tied to their backs?
“My name is Storming Shade, a lieutenant of the royal guard working under Princess Celestia.” He said proudly.
Boy, I know you are a royal guard from the outfit. You don’t have to say it…
“Heh, he is more grumpy back in the barracks.” Flash added with a chuckle.
“Hey, another word and I’ll bash your head.” Shade glared.
I didn’t say anything to them as they both were indulged in sexual insults about their own gender or penis sizes. Sounds a bit too childish for me, but it’s good to see some ponies taking courage to speak of profanity in a sacred place for once.
I sighed and knew that I had to break it up before it gets too physical… Or maybe….
“Hey guys, how about hanging out and grab a beer? You guys earned it.” I gave them a smirk.
They both looked at me wide eyed. They were probably thinking of taking the offer as they looked at each other then back at me.
“Ummm…. We were kind of sent by the Princess and I wouldn’t want to disappoint by being lat-” Flash rubbed the back of his head.
“We’ll take your offer, sir!” Shade shouts with a salute.
“What! Are you crazy! What if the princess kills us!?” Flash panicked.
“Relax, bro! If we get caught, I doubt she will punish us. Probably just some cleaning in the cafeteria again.” Shade gives a knowing grin of his own.
Flash still had a face full of fear.
I kept my grin as a plan began to formulate in my head. I’ll try use this opportunity to get away from this place. First comes the distractions from the drinking, then I’ll knock them out cold, then escape as fast and as normal as I can. Perfect.
“Lead me to the bar will ya, Shade?” I asked.
“Absolutely, sir.” He bowed then led the way. I then realized that he was still pulling the carriage behind him.
“Hey, what about that carriage behind your back?” I asked.
“Oh right, almost forgot about it.” He untethered the rope as it laid on the ground.
He moved and I followed soon. I stopped walking as a I realized a missing royal guard. I looked behind to see a blue lightning trail, leaving behind a tethered rope.
“What a snitch…” I said under my breath.
“Don’t worry! I’ll catch him!” Shade’s black trail passed me in an insane speed. It was a surprise I could even hear him.
The chase didn’t go for long as Shade caught up and pinned down the fleeing pegasi. I walked over to them with hands in the pocket.
“Let go of me! I don’t want to be in trouble again!” Flash cried.
“Oh no you don’t, pal! It’s finally time for us to take a short break! I’m not letting a bucking pony like you ruin this opportunity for me!” Shade continued to pin down both of his hands.
“Jeez, Flash. You should learn how to listen to your higher ups ever once in a while?” I rasied a brow.
“You don’t understand! The Princess Celestia’s punishments are more tartarus than Princess Luna’s!” Flash tried to pry off but Shade’s grip was too strong.
I want him gone...
I sighed, “Let him go.”
“What?” Shade turned to me with confusion.
“You heard me, let him go.” I repeated.
“B-But he will tell on us!” Shade reasoned out.
“Just listen to my orders will ya? It’s not that hard.” I stated coldly.
“Y-Yes sir!” Shade removed his grip and Flash zipped through the sky in a flash. Heh puns…
We both stared as the blue trail slowly faded into the air.
“C’mon, lead the way to the bar.” I said.
“S-Sure thing, sir!”
We both took about 10 minutes of walking towards the downtown bar of Canterlot. Even though the sun was above us, the temperature was warm and the wind gave a chill to battle counteract the heat. It was a perfect weather to sleep on a patch of grass under a tree…
The bar showed a sign reading “Booze and Wooze”. Pretty weird if you ask me. We both entered and the place was pretty crowded, but enough room to walk through different places.
“Order me a beer will ya?” I asked.
“No problem, I’ll buy three in fact.” He said with a grin.
We both sat on the stools in where the bartender shook glasses of cocktail. It was pretty entertaining but got repetitive quick enough.
“Three ciders on the table.” Shade ordered.
“Oh! A Royal guard, it will be on the house for serving our country well!” The bartender said as he slid three glasses of brown liquid down towards us.
“Say, is cider the only thing available here?” I questioned.
“Nope, but it’s the most potent out of the bunch.” He chugged his first glass.
“Huh…” Was all I can say.
I’m not a beer person. I just used this as an excuse to get them drunk. But unfortunately, one escaped. Since I’m still 17, I haven’t been exposed to drinking, especially when it came to alcohol. I knew shots were quick chugs but that’s all I knew.
I picked up my cider and took a slight sip. My eyes boomed wide with surprise. It was good. No, it was REALLY good! It was like having sex with a vagina as the mouth…. That… didn’t make sense but you get the idea.
I began to chug it down quickly without any hesitation before plopping it back down on the table, quickly asking for seconds.
“Woah that’s amazing!” I said out loud in one breath.
“See? It gets your blood boiling.” Shade chugged his down.
This continued for about 30 minutes. I could feel myself getting in a daze but continued drinking regardless.
This is messing me up isn’t it?
Before chugging down another set of glass of cider, the door to the inn sprung open with a patch of ponies wearing the same golden outfit as Shade’s. Princess of everything sent this much of guards to get me I presume.
Even though I was a bit intoxicated, I still held a steady posture and could think. A white pony came through the patch of guards. Though, unlike the others, he wore a purple armor with golden trimmings. In the middle was a shield with some sort of purple spark. Rad….
“You! Over there! The Princess wants to have a word with you in the castle!” He shouted.
From his voice alone, I could tell that he was in the range of 20 – 25 ish in age. In the side of his waist held a sword. He stood to be the higher rank amongst the rest. A captain I presume.
“Sir! I-I didn’t know Princess Celestia would send you!” Shade stood up and saluted in a drunken haze. His body swawing to the sides.
“Don’t think I’ll let you off so easily, lieutenant Shade. Princess Luna wants to see you instead.” The captain glared at Shade.
“O-Of course sir, I’ll meet her as soon as possible!” Shade passed the row of guards and quickly flew into the giant castle.
I sighed. That’s one problem out of the way…. But that doesn’t solve anything right now.
“Come with us creature, you have been summoned by Princess Celestia. And from the way she wrote that letter, she doesn’t look too happy.” He walked to me.
“Sorry, captain. But it seems like you may have suspected the wrong pers- pony.” I said laying backwards unto the counter.
“Heh, I’m not here to play some sort of game. I’m not here for that sort of deception either.”
Well shit.
“Now, you either come with us peacefully or we will use brute force!” He shouted.
“Well, there’s no point in trying to flee is there?” I sighed.
“Guards! Cease this creature at once and bring him to Princess Celestia!”
A bunch of his men began to make their way to me with ropes and handcuffs. Behind them stood a giant cage that could fit well around 2 big fat people. I’m not about to get caught or be caught. I’ve been standing strong ever since the day I was left alone and never have been caught once. This will not be the first nor will it be the last…. Show me what you got.
“Well, if that’s how you want to play.” I said as I grabbed the mug of beer and smashed it towards the nearest guard’s face.
He tumbled backwards, pushing guards standing behind him and let the cycle run like dominos.
“Get him! Quickly!” One of the guards yelled.
I vaulted over the counter and grabbed one bottle of beer and smashed it on the second stallion who tried to grab me, leaving me with a bottle with edges.
I looked around and saw a door to the right showing the restroom area. I quickly ran towards the door, opened it then locked it quickly as I went inside. Hard bang after hard bang could be heard but the door didn’t budge. This gave me enough time to think.
I looked around the bathrooms stalls to find the small window that normal bathrooms normally have. A little over a second later, there stood two windows on each bathroom stalls. I don’t know why it was there, but I didn’t question it. I quickly bashed the glass with my right elbow and slipped through it like butter.
Thankfully, the time was somewhat midnight which gave me a clear breakthrough that most of the people here were asleep. I tried to find a good hiding spot before finding the exit. Maybe hiding on top of rooftops? Nah, they have wings…. Dammit, I gotta go the traditional way.
I spotted a sewer canal at the side of the street right behind the bar. I opened it and slipped in without a moment’s hesitation. Hopefully, this will keep them occupied while I find another way.
“So, you passed through our secret canal, destroyed about a third of the functioning switches due to curiosity, and ended up sleeping in a rat-infested lair.” Princess Celestia grinned.
“Fuck you! Why do you not have canals to lead towards the outside waters!?” I complained.
The bitch chuckled, “Really funny for you to attempt an escape here in Canterlot. No pony ever succeeds.”
“I’m not a pony to begin with you piece of shit!”
I sat on the floor with my hand cuffed together and my neck chained to a nearby floating pole. The gist was…. I got caught trying to find my way out. It was disappointing, but at least I didn’t die trying to escape.
“What do you want from me! I don’t want to listen to you nor do I even want to stay here!”
“Please Jacob, I want you to hear me out.” She said with a worried expression.
“Don’t call me that name. I despise it so much I could throw you a fucking a punch of a century if you say it again!” I threatened.
I was angry. Why couldn’t I just roam like a peaceful person would? Why would a race so loving and harmonious do such a thing? Was I lied to? Was I deceived? Was this all planned?
She sighed. Suddenly, a bright lightning zapped me straight in the head. I didn’t know what the fuck happened. A sudden tingle could be felt inside of my head. I twisted my head, trying to withstand it.
Moments after, I felt numb. My arms and legs were stiff as a bored and my head fell to the side. It was as if I was unconscious but conscious in the same time. I knew what was happening, but I couldn’t tell what was happening to my head.
“Ok, will you listen to me now?” She sighed and sat on her throne.
I slowly nodded my head unconsciously.
“Equestria is at risk as of now. Dragons and Griffons are on the attack for our kingdom. They want none alive and none to be existent.” She began.
“We need your help, as a thief and as a skilled assassin, to deceive these race’s leaders before they start the attack. I want you to encourage them that friendship matters most in life as everyone could be equally alike in a more organized society.” She looked down.
“I don’t want anything happening 300 years ago. I lost my parents in a war between the Dragons and the Changelings…..” A tear fell from her eye.
My eyes grew wide. Even though I was stuck in my place, I knew that she was desperate. I knew what kind of situation she is placed in…. For I have been placed the same. I may not know what it is like to defend a kingdom. But I know what it’s like to prevent the same thing from happening twice….
I was brought back to reality. I could move my body well enough to think clearly again. I looked up and we both stared at each other’s eyes.
I looked down and realized that my hands were freed from the chains as well as my neck. I gave it another thought, but quickly brushed it off.
I stood up, and looked through the window at the side. It was a full moon in the sky, brightening the land of Equestria as everyone is in an eternal lullaby…. Well, mostly everyone.
I opened my mouth, “Give me a better gear to go out with. Stop calling me Jacob, it’s Shad. And don’t order me around. I’m doing this for the sake of your country, and the fact that I notice that you stand in the same place I once stood.”
This may be the most regretful part of my life. But, I will be willing to help, as long as I get back home.
Home……

A Thief's Escapade in Equestria
Returning Back To Whence I Came
Days has passed since I’ve joined Bitchlesia’s deal. I was given a proper place to live, eat, and mostly a place to practice my deadly assassin arts. I’d say I pretty much impressed majority of the guards in the castle and most of them already remember me as the guy who would literally fuck with their moms if any were to look down on me. Except for that Shining Armor guy, he is just an egotistical retard who thinks whatever he says is right.
Moving along, I met with Celestia’s sister, who would literally decapitate anybody with that glare of hers if they kept staring at her or Celestia for too long. Talk about an overprotective sister. Oh yeah, did I mention she was the younger sister here? How thoughtful for her to be looking out for the retarded big sister who sent me here.
Since it was a castle of royalty, I expected aristocrats and representatives of the court to come from time to time. I met a few ponies who were pretty cool such as Fancypants and his wife Fluer. There was 1 dude who just pissed me off by getting an eye off of him. Name’s Blueblood was it? Reminded me so much of a more gentile and playboy version of Ryan.
Aside from the training I completely owned, today was the day I that got those knives I told Celestia to order. Though, I got a private letter from the seller him/herself telling "I know you". Creepy, but I let it slide.
Today was just like any other day with me waking up to the blinding sun. Why was it there in the first place? I thought I closed all the blinds before I slept…. Unless bitchlestia opened it. Annoyed, I got up and began to make my way to the bathroom and tried to rinse off the frustration.
I quickly removed my clothing and stepped in the shower room. The soaps here were not different to Earth’s. It may have different brands on them but they are what they are. Fragrant, fresh, and rectangular. Oh right, I forgot to say that this place was massive. The shower room I currently stayed in can fit about 5 people. The bathtub on the other hand was not as big as I thought but still pretty damn big.
After the session ended, I took the towel hanging from its holder and dried myself as much as I could, then hung it around my waist. I exited the room and walked towards my wardrobe where I dawned a purple V-necked shirt and a simple pair of blue jeans. During my stay here, Bitchlestia prepared some clothes for me to that would fit my mood every time I opened the wardrobe. Don’t really know what the colors mean but the quality feels premium. Of course, there were more clothes to choose from but V-necks are so comfortable.
I took a preview of myself in the mirror, and I look pretty normal and fresh if I do say so myself. I then looked at the desk which lied my phone. Apparently, batteries were already invented and were used for different things such as the lights in a city called “Manehatten”. It uses magic to charge and increase battery life. I asked nicely to have that sort of system implemented on my desk where my phone just continues to charge and increase in battery life. Pretty convenient in my case, because I might use my phone a lot in this world.
Now, I have to go get breakfast. This part is the most…. Boring, annoying, and awkward moment during the past.
I got out from my room and headed towards the dining area. A line of guards stood in different positions and began to greet me.
“Hello, sir Shade.” One of them spoke with a soft smile.
“Suh.” I said back with nod.
“Good day, sir!” Another shouted.
“Chill down with the tone, will you? Might want to use that in battle because you might just well enough kill someon- pony.”
I waved them goodbye and entered through the dining room. There, the two princesses ate their breakfast while talking to each other peacefully. Seems like they haven’t noticed me yet…. Seems rather odd since Bitchlestia would greet me as soon as I entered and Moonbutt here would just give me a glare and say a few scary words before going back to eating.
As I came closer to the table, the more oblivious they seemed to be of my existence. Ok…. I’m not an attention whore or anything, but this is just awkward. Well, at least I don’t have to be bothered while eating.
I sat on my chair which was 6 chairs away from the princesses and began chowing down on my pancakes. These are the best…..
After a full 2-4 minutes of peacefully eating and enjoying the food, Bitchlestia called me out.
“Oh, good morning Shade! Sorry, I didn’t see you come in!” She said happily.
I deadpanned and continued to eat instead of talking to her.
“Foolish mortal! Does thou not know how to properly greet thine royalty!?” Luna shouted across the room.
I swear I’m going to punch you so hard….
“Now, now Lulu, he might just be in a bad mood. Here, let me show you how to handle situations like this.” Bitchlestia made her way to me.
I raised my brow. What is she going to do now…?
“Shade….” She began.
Seriously….
“What do you want?” I asked.
“What will you have this early morning?” She asked.
“I'm already eating food you kno-”
“Chef! Fetch the human his platter!” Celestia shouted.
I covered my ears in pain. I knew Luna could shout but never knew Celestia was louder! Jesus, my ear drums could have exploded… Actually, why didn’t it?
“Jesus… At least lower the audacity when I’m around!” I shouted at her.
“Oh, I’m very sorry for that dear Shad! I didn’t realize human ears were more sensitive than a pony’s.” She chuckled.
I deadpanned, “Are you sure? I think anybody would have said the same thing considering that you have ears big enough to even hear the farthest of sounds!”
“Our ears are big, yes. But that doesn’t mean that we can hear everything .” She said back.
“Whatever. Just let me have my meal and I’m off to the training grounds again. I gotta show Prince Shitblood how to handle a real sword.”
“Well…. About that.” Celestia gave a concerned look.
I sighed, “What now?”
“Well, the thing is Shad. You will need to continue your life in Ponyville, which is going to be arranged today.”
….
……….
WHAT!?
I looked at her in disbelief. She is forcing me to go back to that shitty hellhole where I got punched to death?
“Are you… serious?”
She nodded.
“And why is this happening so suddenly?” I continued.
“The castle is holding a royal gathering and I need enough rooms for guests! I’m very sorry about this, but I got a word out to Applejack. If she were to ever do harm to you again, I shall unleash hell upon her family.” Celestia gave a rather… creepy smile.
I was unease by what was happening right now, surprisingly I wasn't angered as much. I looked at Luna who tried holding her laugh in the back.
“One, don’t do that. Second, I’ll deal with it alone if that’s the case. And third, fuck you.” I began dipping my bread in coffee and eating it after it magically appeared in front of me.
“How will you deal with it alone if you get hit the chest again?” She inquired.
“A well-versed person like me doesn’t get fooled by the same trick twice.”
“Right…”
I sighed, “Whatever… Bring me the blade that I ordered, must be short and polished well. I need money, clothing, food, and mostly a badge to show my rank.”
“All of them has been set in your room and the carriage will be coming any minute now.” Celestia informed.
“Sweet. Well, I’m off now. See ya guys later.” I waved.
“Wait! Aren’t you going to hear our proper farewells?” Celestia exclaimed.
“If you were to send me to Ponyville to live, I see no reason for you to say such things if you can watch me from above. You’re a god, right? It’s not a hard task to do.” I walked out of the dining room and headed straight towards my room.
There, I saw my bed sheets neatly tucked in, my drawers closed, and chairs back to their proper place. On top of the table laid the promised supplies. Though, what stood out from the rest was the knife. It was small, but looked sharp enough to slice through even the toughest of hide. It had some sort of runic symbols scrapped unto the sides of the blade. I don’t know what that is but it seems cool.
A baggage sat next to the table sitting right side up. It was pretty big even for normal suitcase standards. The last of the supplies were the bag of golden coins, or what they’re called, bits. Apparently, bits with Celestia’s head on it costs way more than that with Luna’s head on it. Sheesh, talk about sisterly love, Celestia has to always stay on top of her sister. Can’t even think of any reason why Luna would want to protect her. Well, it’s not something I can barge into.
My thoughts were disturbed by a knock on the door and a voice that called me out, “Sir, your carrier has arrived.”
“I’ll be right there. Just give me a second to carry my crap.” I said.
Footsteps could be heard walking away. I sighed and began to grabbed my belongings, the suitcase, and the blades. I walked out of the room looking ready to travel as ever. I wasled downstairs where the carriage stood. I wonder who were the ponies carrying me today?
“Good morning, Sir Shad. Sir!” Shade saluted.
Great….
“At ease.” I calmly spoke.
Wait… If he’s here… That means……
“H-Hello and good m-morning, Sir Shad.” Flash saluted with a bit of hesitation.
Not this dude again…
“Did you recover from the tackle Shade brought upon you?” I questioned.
“Y-Yes sir! Also… I’m very sorry from our last meeting!” Flash bowed.
“Woah, what’s this for?”
“I didn’t know the Princess would blackmail you! I didn’t know you were from another world and I’m so-“ I cut him short.
“Oh, so you did eavesdrop me.” I glared daggers at him.
He scrunched up, “W-Well, I did… hear a bit of the conversation.”
“So you don’t deny any of this, huh?” I asked again.
“N-No, sir. For that, I’m very sorry…” Flash kept his bow.
“Lift your head.” I commanded.
He did so and immediately slapped him across the face with one swift motion. “Don’t ever do that again or a harder slap will come about.”
“O-Of course sir!” He smiled.
Are you a masochist or something!?
I sighed and entered the wagon. I told both of them to start flying but concerned me with the farewells of the princesses.
“Fuck that, let’s go now before it reaches my lunch time. Want to try out the food in Ponyville before I die again.” I stated blatantly.
“Yes sir!” They both shouted in unison.
Just like that, we had lift off. The skies were pleasant as always with the winds blowing on my face and the clear weather giving the best mood any day could even give. I fell asleep on the way to Ponyville to say the least.
What felt like minutes late, I was awakened by a tap on my shoulder. I shot up in surprise and grabbed the hand that touched my shoulder with a tight grip. I looked to my side to see Flash’s face looking as scared as he always was.
“O-Oh, sorry. Just an instinctive behavior I developed when I was back in my world.” I said.
“Don’t w-worry about it…. Just, walk down the street and go towards the right. T-There, you will see your house. It has a pretty obvious layout so good luck.” Flash said as he stood to the side, waiting for me to leave.
“Okay then.”
I grabbed my things and got off. I was stopped yet again by Shade.
“Sir, do you want me to carry those for you?” He asked.
“No thanks. I can do this alone. Thanks for the service boys.” I waved them good bye.
They did the same and headed back to Canterlot in a breeze.
Now…. To set things right.
Author's Note
Sorry for the long wait, had to make this quick chapter before returning to my studies. Kinda messed up with most of my planning and just began writing with what's on the head.
Anyways, hoped you guys enjoyed!
