And the remnant still are super friendly to me.” I said as I took a swig from the bottle of vodka. “You know if Vetra hears you talk like that she going be on your ass faster than the Tempest can move.” he joked Just then I felt two arms wrap around me and then I heard her speak into my ear. “You know you really should talk to me about this. You know I'm here for you.” “I know I just don't want you to-” she cut me off with a kiss. “I’m here for you Matt and you know that.” She kissed me again “besides I'll always be with you my love.” “I'm just glad you're not like the rest. You and Ryder were the only ones that gave me a chance. When you found me in my cryo pod inside of one of the remnants research labs. And yet you're not freaked out by my tail or how tall I am or how ‘scary looking I look’. You thought it was hilarious when I came out cryo and slipped and fell face first onto the floor.” She chuckled lately “you were really adorable when you were stumbling about trying to talk to us.” She sighed as she laid her forehead on top of mine. “And besides who knew you were such a romantic.” “If you don't mind asking how did you two get together? The whole ships wondering by now.” Asked Gil as he took a sip from his beer “Well while we down in one of the remnants volts I might of broken one of my legs when the kett showed up. He didn't waste one second coming to my aid. Fought his entire way through the kett just to get me back to the medical Bay. Even after that he refused to let me be because he thought it was his fault in the first place.” she chuckled lightly “oh that's why he wouldn't let you out of bed for a week. Still it must have been nice to have him cook for you. Even drack's cooking can't compare to Matt's.” Said Gale “Thank you for the compliment Gale but I'm not that good.” “Hey so where do you two plan on going deering your vacation time.” Asked Gale “Well I would tell you but Matt won't tell me myself. So have no clue.” Said Vetra I to use sign language to talk Gale “( I told some of the remnant to fix up a small beach side house.)” “(She going to love it. Just keep she away from sharks she hates them and spiders.)” Gale signed back “What are you two talking about? you guys know I can't understand that thing you with you hands.” Said Vetra “I was just asking if he got our ship ready?” I said as Gale toss a pair of keys at me that I caught. “And I think it's about time we get going. Don't you think honey?” “Oh I should warn you the ship was a bit of a fixer upper but it should work just fine.” Said Gale as me and Vetra got up. “Don't worry I trust your skills. Oh and tell Jill I said hi.” I said as we walked out the door leaving Gale behind. Once we were on the ship and put our luggage in the back. “So are you going to tell me where we are going?” “Nope… but I know you'll love it.” I said as I sat down at the console and started up the ship. Sam spoke up “ETA 30 minutes till arrival. And the remnant construction drones have completed there assignment.” “Oh now I'm interested, what is it your planning?” “That my dear is one secret I will not be telling” “SAM?” “I'm sorry Vetra I was told specifically not to tell anyone.” “Damn it I was really hoping you'd tell me.” (15 minutes later) “Are you really sure you don't want to tell me?” Vetra in a slightly seductive voice “Tempting offer but no you taught me too well to resist.” “Damn I really thought that would worked.” BOOM!!! “Shit what hell was that?!!” I yelled “Matt that was the system warp drive exploding I advise that you put your your remnant dome over the both of you.” Sam said “No shit Sherlock!” I yelled as ran over to Vetra and pulled into a tight hug as a rapped my wings around her shielding her as I put the dome up. Suddenly I felt something hit the ship cousin us and the Dome to be sent rocketing forward. We bounced around in side of the Dome me taking all the hits because I was much bigger than her. When I felt the dome stop rolling I dropped the dome. And then blacked out because of the pain. (POV change Applejack) It was a clear Sunday afternoon a great day to be bucking apples if I do say so myself. I was minding my own business when horrid sound filled the air. And I saw it some sort of machine falling from the sky and it was burning. As it past straight over head and flu into the everfree forest I had one thought. 'I need to get twilight!’ “Big Mac ah’ll be back ah’m going to get twilight keep applebloom away from whatever that was!” I then booked it like a mad mare to the twilight's castle. (POV change Vetra) “Ugh my head, honey you okay?” As I sat up I noticed my lover bleeding profusely from the head, left leg and his wings were definitely broken they were bent in weird ways and torn a little bit. My fears started to rise as his breathing became raggett as if it was giving him pain to breathe. I started to rip off parts of my clothes to use as makeshift bandages. I started up Omni tool to see how bad it was. It was way worst. Major concussion, a punctured lung, and I think it's safe to say I was crying hard as I barred my head into his chest. After what seemed to forever I started to hear somebody talking not to far away. “Somebody help!!” I yelled out to whoever it was. (POV change Twilight) “Applejack are you sure you saw it fall over here?” “Ah'm sure twilight. Whatever that thing was it was massive. And ah’d hope-” “SOMEBODY HELP!!!” somepony screamed When we made it we saw two creatures, one looked like a mix between a wolf and a dragon and had some bandages that was covered in blood. While the other one looked like it's face was made of bone and had tears running down the side of its face. It lad it's forehead on top of the other ones chest. Suddenly we heard a branch snap behind us. Me and Applejack turned around to see Fluttershy standing there. (POV change Vetra) I quickly sat up and looked around for someone. “Is someone there? Please help me, my boyfriend is dying please help.” I started breakdown as Matt started coughing up blood. “Um excuse me are you okay miss?” I looked up to see to another new species she looked to be a mix of a human and a horse. “N-no my boyfriend is going to die please is there a Hospital near by?!” “Oh my yes there is please come.” I picked up Matt and started to follow her. When we got there nobody would help they just stood there staring at us. And I might of lost it. “STOP STARING AND HELP US!” After my little outburst a couple of doctors came out with a Gurnee and I gently put Matt down. “He got a punctured lung and Major concussion. You've got 30 minutes before his body ignites and tries to stop you.” They nodded before running off. “Excuse me miss if you'd like you can watch the surgery from that room. and one last thing, do you mind filling this out.” A nurse said as she handed me a clipboard. I turned around to the person who helped me. “Thank you for helping me out. You have no idea how much this means to me.” “Oh no it's fine you needed help and I couldn't just stand there and do nothing. Do you mind if I ask your name. If you don't mind me asking.” “I don't mind at all the names Vetra and my boyfriends name is Matt. Oh if you don't mind, if you see your leaders please tell them to wait until my boyfriends up.” “Um why is that if you don't mind me asking?” “Because he's the Pathfinder he supposed to be the one to make first contact.” “Pathfinder?” “Sorry I'll talk to you miss I've got to go make sure they don't accidentally kill my boyfriend. Good bye for now.” I said as made my way to the observation room. (POV change Fluttershy) After she disappeared into the room I turned around started walk to the waiting area. Ten minutes later my friends twilight and Applejack came in and walked over to me. “Fluttershy are you okay, where's the aliens? Did they say anything about themselves and why there here?” asked twilight “There fine twilight ones in observation room and the other is in surgery. The girls name is Vetra while her boyfriend's name is Matt. As for why, I think they crashed here. One things for certain though she definitely loves her boyfriend like lot.” “Boyfriend you mean the two of them are to together?” asked Applejack I nodded “Do you think we could talk to her?” Asked Twilight “Um here's the thing twilight she said to wait for her boyfriend to wake up because he's something called a Pathfinder.” “Pathfinder? What in tarnation is that?” asked Applejack “I don't know but she said something about first contact.” (POV change Matt two days later) “Ugh my head, what happened?” I said as I sat up in the bed. I looked around the and noticed Vetra sleeping over in the corner of the room. I ignored my body's scream of pain as moved out of bed. My body was covered in bandages. When I finally reached her I picked her and carried back to bed. “Can't seem to keep your hands to yourself I see.” She said in a hushed tone “What can I say the temptation is more than I can handle.” I said as I slowly inched my hand tord her more sensitive of areas. “Hey now you just woke up and you need to get some rest after what you did.” “Fine but your staying with me.” I said as I wrapped my arms around her. She let out a small sigh of contentment. “Fine by me.” she said as she snuggled into my chest. “Good night my love.” I said as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I started to walk around and occasionally playing with stars. “Welp if this dream isn't going to turn into a Nightmare I guess I'll start training.” I pulled out two remnant swords As ran I through my sword training I decided to add my Bionics to the mix to make me faster and stronger. “Excuse me what are you doing in my dreams?” I stopped what I was doing and looked to my left to see a female horse thing. She looked quite cute “Well this dream just got weirder if that possible at this point… sorry but what are you?” “Well I'm princess Luna princess of night and dreams co-ruler of Equestria. Now do you mind telling me who you are and what your doing in my room of dreams?” “I'm Pathfinder Matt Shadow and I'm pretty sure I'm asleep.” After I said this her eyes widened as her horn came to life and glowed a bright blue. Suddenly a blue bolt shot out towards me. But I casted black light before it hit me. “WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!” I yelled as put the shield down “No maybe I don't know, your not supposed to be able to dream of space no pony or what ever you are can.” “I don't know you think you are Luna. But since this is a dream I want you explain yourself.” I said as I broke out the vodka from underneath the cabinet and took a drink. 'so long to not drinking on this trip.’ “W-well you see for someone dream of space and have me pulled here without me needing to intervene a nightmare means one thing. I'm supposed to get married to you.” She said as ears fell against her head “Hold on I’ve got a girlfriend and don't dreams reflect your real life work or something like that.” She nods “Well I work in space. She gasped as she fell out of her chair. “What's wrong?!” She started to claw at her neck. Without even thinking I started to give her mouth to mouth and that was mistake as the heart on her neck glowed brightly before disappearing. “OH NO OH NO! WHY DID YOU KISS ME?!” She yelled as she sat up “What do you mean I was trying to save you!” “‘sigh’ Well it can't be helped you and me are bound to together.” “I can't have two girlfriends! 'WELP I’M FUCKED WHEN I WAKE UP!’ (30 minutes later in real world) As I started come to the first thing I noticed was that Vetra was sitting next to, oh God she real. As I tried to sit up Vetra put her hand on my shoulder and push me back down gently. “Easy your still wounded take it easy Matt. And don't worry I'm not mad sure surprise but hey if what I heard is true, I want to go through with it and have my soul connected with yours Matt.” She said with a soft smile “Ok now I'm confused what happened?” “Well you see Matt when that heart appeared on my neck it was a sign that I found my soulmate but it only appears if the pony falls and love with another for the right reasons.” said princess Luna “Are you sure you want go through with this honey?” “Yes I'm sure, besides I want to be as close as possible to you.” Vetra said as she ran her hand though my hair. “Ok Luna I'm ready, do your magic thing.” As Luna's eyes closed and her horn came to life the faint outline of a blue heart appeared. It started to glow brighter and brighter Vetra’s legs gave out. As Vetra was falling I caught her and french kissed her. As the heart pulsed and fade out a small light came from underneath my t-shirt. As I stood up I lifted up my t-shirt to reveal two symbols, one of a moon and the other a gun. “Uh okay what's up with the tattoos?” “those are our cutie marks. They tell you we still love you.” I brushed my fingers over smyob of the gun. Suddenly a gun appeared out of thin air. It looked like energy based weapon with the blue lightning. “Well that's new.” I said as turned the weapon around in my hands. “Hey honey your good with guns what this it?” I tried to give it her but it disappeared. “Y-you c-can use soul weapons! Oh my that can't be the last soul warrior died off thousands of years ago!” Yelled Luna as if on Q a small white fire appeared behind Luna and started to float towards me it started to dance around me before disappearing along with my bandages. It was amazing no more pain I stood up and walked over to the chair that had my clothes and started getting dressed. My shirt was riddle with holes. “Hey SAM are you online?” Nothing “I guess not. Hey Luna, Vetra would you like to go get something to eat because I am starving.” “Your always hungry Matt” teased Vetra “but could go for something to eat.” Her stomach confirmed this letting out a low growl “What you about you Luna? Want to join us for lunch?” I said as I held out my hand. Suddenly I got a message from one of my remnant protector drones that something tried to mess with the ship. “But first I need to go see who's messing with my ship. Vetra can you take me back to the ship?” She nodded ( 30 minutes later) After a small argument with the doctors I was finally able to leave. When we got there we saw five ponies tied up together with the remnant drones pointing their guns at the group of people ponys. (Minus Fluttershy) “Well this is new they usually kill the trust pastors.” I said as started to walk towards the group. “Ok who are you and why are you poking around my ship?” “Well uhm sir we- wait your Matt the Pathfinder we were told you won't be awake for another week.” “So while I was asleep you thought you'd steal parts from my ship.” “N-NO WE WERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WERE PLANNING.” yelled the rainbow haired one “John come here for a minute.” It let out a small beep as it walked over. “John play back feed from before you apprehended the trust pastors.” (Audio feed) “come on we have to figure out why those aliens are here.” “Twilight ah have to agree with Fluttershy that they crashed here.” “I for one don't care this place is absolutely horrid.” “Hey maybe we'll find some sweet stuff we can keep.” “I just want to throw them a party!” 'activating defend protocol’ “AAAAAHHHHH” (End of audio feed) “So you thought we were a threat that's cute we don't even have a weapon. But Ryder and Matt killed him before he could do that.” Vetra chimed in “Anyways before we came here we were going on vacation and I was planning on taking Vetra to the beach.” “Really” I nodded “honey you didn't have to do that.” She said as she hugged me “Well I know how much you wanted to go to the beach so yeah.” “I for one am disappointed in you twilight. You assumed that they were evil without getting there side of the story. I will be Tia about this.” said Luna “What about there ship being on fire when it crashed?” Asked the orange mare “I can answer that. the system warp drive exploded.” “System what now?” “the system warp drive allows the ship to travel faster than the speed of light.my guess is that when it exploded it made one final jump in a random direction and we crashed here. Chapter 3 the unexpectedView OnlineThe Pathfinders New LifeChapter 3 the unexpected(POV Luna) As the train moved a long I found myself staring at Matt's sleeping body with great interest. “Penny for your thoughts Luna.” Asked Vetra as she petted Matt's hair “*Sigh* I'm just worried about my sister.” I answered as I looked up at Vetra “Let me guess really overprotective.” “Yeah, how did you know?” “Well I used be like that with Sid until Matt here showed me that she needed room to grow.” “You have a kid?” “Sister, she can be a real handful at times… so why are you so worried about your sister?” “She has a tendency to fight off men that try to you know.” “I don't think you have to worry about Matt losing or dieing.” “Why's that?” “Don't tell anyone but he didn't wake up from cryo he came back to life. He was war hero but when he was killed they tried to revive him but failed. And when we suddenly turned on the power we accidentally brought him back to life. And now if he dies he revives again but for 90 minutes he goes into a blind rage and will not stop until he wins.” “Wow. So he doesn't know about this?” I say as I look back at Matt's sleeping body and I have to say he's pretty adorable when he's asleep. “No he doesn't we told him he was in cryo and it was normal not to remember who you are and that his memories will come back eventually.” “Why, why not just tell him?” “Knowing him he'll blame himself for them dieing.” we didn't say anything else for the rest of the train ride (POV change Matt) “*yawn* so I take it were here by the fact I'm lying on the ground.” They both giggled at me as we got up and exited the train. But as soon as we exited the train we were surrounded by Royal guards guessing by the gold armor. “What's with welcome party?” ( this is what Vetra's and Luna's tattoo looks like.) “I'm not really sure myself. I don't remember telling the guards to meet us at train station.” Said Luna “Hands in the air monsters!” Said a guard in purple armor, he had white fur and blue hair, which spelled bitch boy if I've ever seen one. I smiled evilly as I my hoalgram to make the Alien from alien isolation behind the guards, vetra saw this and started grinning but Luna looked terrified. “Who's the real monster us or him?” I said as I pointed behind them and they turned and saw it do the mouth thing. Most of the guards fainted from it while the rest ran screaming bloody Mary. Me and Vetra fell to the ground laughing. But Luna looked like she was going to piss herself so I cut it off. Luna blinked a couple of times before looking at us. “What was that?!” Asked Luna with fear in her voice. “It was a xenomorph from a game don't worry there completely fake.” I said as me and Vetra start to stand up. She still looked a little afraid so I walked over to her and rapped her in a hug and using my wings to shield her. She let out a small sigh. I unwrapped her and asked “are you feeling better?” “Yes I am. *Sigh* well I guess we should get going.” She said as hooked her arm around mine. The throne room: third person Matt, Vetra and Luna walked into the throne room, and there was a lot of nobles. Matt leaned over to Luna and said “hey do you want me to get them out of the room?” Luna smiled “that would be great.” Matt cleared his throat before speaking “if own you own a gold carriage yours maybe the one on fire.” almost immediately all of the nobles ran out of the room “Quickly lock the door so they can't get back in!” Luna said to guards. The followed through with the order and closed and locked the door. When the door closed Luna turned to her sister. “Good morning sister I thrust you are doing well.” Now that Matt was able to get a good look at Luna's sister he noticed that her fur was white and her hair is rainbow colored and flood she were a white dress with golden trimmings. “Oh I'm just grate sister but I would like you to meet my new coltfriend.” Luna said as she pushed Matt’s arm into her chest as her sister shot a death stare at Matt before she used her magic to summon her battle armor before she blasted Matt with her magic and sent him flying into a wall. “Sister! What are you doing?!” Yelled Luna, as her landed next to her but as she was about to answer Luna a streak of blue shot at her sister and suddenly Matt came out of the blue aura and slammed his fist into her stomach and sent her flying back a couple of feet. “You know that was a cheap move.” He said as he popped his back. Luna just stared as she just watched Matt go flying got up and returned the hit. Her sister said nothing as she tried to hit him with another magical shot only to have it blocked by blacklight. “*Sigh* really and to think I was looking forward to having a great time talking with you about Luna as a kid.” “Hey!” Luna yelled in protest “Oh come on you know-” suddenly he cut off as a blade was shoved through his back and through his heart. Slowly he looked at Luna's sister and said “you bitch that was a cowardly move.” He said before falling to the ground “Matt!” Luna scarmed before trying run to him but was stopped by Vetra by her grabbing her dress “Wait you don't want to go out there yet.” “What are you talking about?! He was just stabbed!” Yelled Luna as tears were starting to build up. Vetra said nothing as she pointed at Matt, Luna turned around to a purple flame lower itself into Matt before a shadow covered him. But suddenly the shadows started to react violently. And when the shadows disappeared it revealed a monster. Slowly it stood up and looked around before seeing Luna's sister and let out a ear piercing roar. Instantly she raised her shield and took up a defensive stance but it did do much as the claws of the monster ripped clean through the shield. This scares Luna's sister as she had her shield made it from the strongest metal known in existence. (That she knows of) she dropped what was left of her shield and took to the sky and started to fire spells at him. “Joor Zah Frul!” A voice yells, suddenly Luna's sister felt weak as her wings locked up and she fell to the ground and tried to stand but couldn't. She looked up to see that he stopped in front of her. He just stood there staring before the skin of the monster melted off revealing Matt before he fell to the ground asleep. As Luna's sister looked at Matt a odd beating started coming from her chest before she could think of what to do, she found herself weakly kissing Matt. And with that the third love bound spell was formed. “*Sigh* okay before you two start trying to kill each other I'm gonna set the ground rules.” said Vetra as took a seat on the couch that was in Luna's living room located in Luna's tower “I'm sorry but who are you?” Asked Luna's sister “Celestia was it? I'm Vetra Matt's first girlfriend and if what Luna told me is correct I'm the one in charge of the herd.” Celestia said nothing as she just sat there thinking “anyways the first rule no arguing about Matt if you want to do something with him ask me or Matt. Second try to be mindful that he was hated for no reason and is emotional so don't hurt him or you'll have to deal with the remnant.” “What's the remnant?” Asked Luna but before Vetra could answer a loud roar that shook the hole castle. Vetra shot off the couch and ran over to the window and opened it. “Well I'll be damn peebee was right.” Slowly Celestia and Luna walked over to the window and saw something that was terrifying. One was flying metal serpent that made canterlot castle look small. And the other was probably bigger than the mountain it stood on. “What in Tartarus is that?!” Yelled Celestia “That's the remnants and my guess is that noticed that his health was in danger so they sent a architect and war ship to help, let's hope they'll listen.” Soon they could saw smaller ship flying towards the castle. Soon the ship landed and the back opened up to reveal two destroyers and three observers and one protector. Quickly the destroyers stepped off the ship and point they're guns that them. The protector stood there with it's gun trained at Celestia. The observers started to scan them and then they realized that Vetra was and flashed as she was a part of the list of people aloud to see the remnants works without being attacked. Soon the remnants hacked into her Omni tool and started to write questions. (What happened to the hero?) “He's a sleep. He took a ruff landing and is healing.” Answered Vetra (What exactly happened?) “We crashed, the warp drive exploded and we crashed he took the most damage protecting me. Also if you could have some of the remnants pick up the destroyed ship that would be great.” The observer beeped (it's been done. We will be up in orbit and watching. But Vetra please take care of the hero not just for his old race but for his new family……. May we start studying the planet?) Vetra raised a eyebrow at part of before replying “yes you may but no killing and no destroying buildings.” The destroyers let out a sad beep. “Unless you find evidence saying that they have committed crimes then come talk to me or Matt.” The destroyers let out a happy beep (Thank you for loving the hero. Live long and prosper.) The remnants started leave before Vetra stopped them “One last thing before you leave, I want you to add these two the list of people who are romantically involved with him.” (I beg your pardon Vetra) “Yeah sorry it's a thing here” (Sorry scanning now) the observers flu over to the princesses and started to work on adding them to the system. The remnant said as they all turned red and got ready to shoot Celestia “Probably because she was helping heal him.” Vetra said somewhat irritated The remnant quickly turned back to blue (yes sorry for the misunderstanding) once they finally finished they got back into the ship and left. “Okay you two let's finish what we were doing?”
