The Not so Averge Life of a Once Human Now Pony Named Minra

Chapter Fourteen

Minra’s friends gathered in the library as he made sure he had his ticket, and the jersey that he was given on his birthday. After making sure he had everything Minra hugged his friends and walked through the portal to the human world where he was greeted by his human world friends, Principal Celestia and her sister Vice Principal Luna. Despite the last time he visited the human world he was not thrown out of the portal but came out with a superhero landing.

“What did you think of our gifts?” Sunset asked.

“They were great.” Minra replied.

“Yea whatever what did you think of our music?” Rainbow Dash asked enthusiastically.

“Kidding me it’s the best music ever.” Minra responded as human Twilight asked if anything new happened in the pony world.

“Well there was a gargoyle attack, my dragon pony form has undergone a few changes and well other then that nothing really.” Minra replied.

“What do you mean a gargoyle attack?” Sunset asked.

“Well, I was napping in Ponyville’s park listening to the CD you gave me when a gargoyle attacked, and yes I know they normally attack evil spirits but this one was like a rouge one but anyway thanks for inviting me.” Minra responded.

“Oh it’s no problem however would you like to be part of the opening ceremony?” Principal Celestia asked.

“What do you mean?” Minra asked.

“Well we were wondering if you would stand in the middle of the field and shoot fire in the sky like a fountain?” Vice Principal Luna asked.

“Oh sure, so when’s the game?” Minra asked.

“It’s in a couple of weeks.” Twilight replied.

“I hope that isn’t to far away?” Sunset asked.

“Oh okay and don’t worry it isn’t.” Minra replied.

“Good now come on, show us your dragon human form to see if it’s received any changes.” Rainbow Dash said excitedly.

“Uh okay.” Minra responded as he set down the bag that was his saddle bags and focused as he changed into his dragon-human form. It was basically the same as his dragon pony form except more humanoid. He grew three new horns, his head morphed into a human dragon hybrid, with digitigrade legs and a dragon pony tail hybrid.

“That looks so…incredibly fantastically awesome!” Rainbow Dash shouted.

“When did you get that those new changes?” Twilight asked.

“Well it was when my friends and I were fighting that gargoyle that I told you about, it knocked me unconscious by throwing me against a tree and when I woke all but Fluttershy was conscious and well the gargoyle was gonna attack her and I guess that’s when I got the new changes.” Minra explained as he reverted back to his base form.

“Okay that’s enough, now go back to class, Minra you still remember your classes right?” Principal Celestia asked.

“Yea.” Minra responded.

“Okay good, I notified your teachers about your return so you better get going and incase you forgot your way around the school, you have the same classes as Sunset so she’ll show you around if you need it.” Vice Principal Luna said smiling.

Minra and Sunset walked to their classroom where they were greeted by a cherry pink teacher named Ms. Cheerilee who has dark reddish pink hair, who has green eyes, who wore a brown vest with a white collared shirt with a green skirt that has flowers on it and knee high brown boots.

“Hello Minra, glad your back.” Ms. Cheerilee said smiling.

“Thanks but it’ll only be for a couple of weeks.” Minra responded as Ms. Cheerilee motioned him to sit in the empty seat next to Sunset.

Classes went by as usual until it was lunch where upon sitting down with his friends Applejack asked how his first day back for a couple of weeks was going.

“It’s going good.” Minra responded as a winter green girl with dark green hair and brown eyes walked over, she wore a sand yellow and brown striped sweater with sand blue jeans.

“Hi may I join you?” The girl asked.

“Of coarse, Minra this is Wallflower Blush, Wallflower Blush this is Minra.” Sunset said introducing the two as Minra waved.

“H-how did you get that scar?” Wallflower asked when Minra almost spit out the food he was chewing.

“He doesn’t like to talk about it.” Sunset told Wallflower.

“Oh okay, sorry I asked.” Wallflower said giving off an apologetic look.

Minra managed to swallow his food and replied with. “Don’t worry about it.”

“Oh okay, so um...what do you like to do for fun?” Wallflower asked.

“Well I like to draw, read graphic novels and play video games.” Minra replied.

“Cool.” Wallflower said.

“What about you?” Minra asked.

“I like to garden and tend to plants.” Wallflower responded.

“So Minra do you want to here about this awesome trick I pulled off?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Please, it wasn’t that amazing.” Applejack responded as the two started arguing. Wallflower leaned to Minra and asked if that was normal for them.

“It is.” Minra responded as the two bickering girls soon laughed it off.

“So what brings you back to CHS?” Wallflower asked.

“Well it’s to see the an upcoming game.” Minra responded.

“Why?” Wallflower asked.

“Well I got the ticket as a birthday present and it would be pretty rude of me to not attend not to mention I would of attended if I knew when it was.” Minra responded.

“Speaking of which, what kind of sports game is it?” Minra asked Rainbow Dash.

“It’s soccer and we’re playing against the Griffons of Griffstone.” Rainbow Dash said enthusiastically.

“Yea RD and Gilda have been rivals since they were little and they one day promised to beat the other in a sport at least that’s what she told me, I’ve never actually have met her.” Applejack explained.

“Oh okay and I better get going, I have to practice with the opening crew.” Minra said as he went to the soccer field.

“Me too.” Pinkie Pie said as she ran after Minra.

“Wait you’re part of the opening crew?” Minra asked.

“Technically yes, but I’m a cheerleader, so we’re part of the opening crew.” Pinkie Pie explained.

“You know that shouldn’t surprise me but it does.” Minra said.

“I know.” Pinkie Pie responded as the two of them walked to the field.

Meanwhile the rest of Minra and Pinkie Pie’s friends sat at their table chatting.

“What does he mean he has to practice with the opening crew?” Wallflower asked Sunset.

“Well Principal Celestia asked him to be part of the opening ceremony with him being in the middle of the field and spewing blue flames in the sky.” Sunset explained.

“Spew blue flames, what do you mean?” Wallflower asked.

“Well he can transform into a human dragon hybrid, this form allows him to shoot blue fire, along with various other abilities.” Twilight replied.

“Yea it’s different from when we go into our pony up forms because he changes colors, grows horns, wings, a tail, digitigrade legs, and claws.” Applejack chimed in.

“Oh uh okay.” Wallflower replied

“Yea but this time I’m gonna defeat Gilda!” Rainbow Dash said confidently.

The six of them chatted until lunch was over where it was now time for the last couple of classes of the day when Minra walked into the classroom that all his friends were in. The time there went by when Rainbow Dash asked Minra if and Wallflower if they want to join them for a sleep over at Pinkie Pie’s house. To which Minra agreed he will go with a bit of reluctance in his voice.

“Great, we’ll play Ultra Plumber Trolley on my Us Me along with other games, we can tell spooky storied and we can order pizza!” Pinkie Pie said excitedly.

“Good luck, no body beats me in that game.” Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

“Except for the time I beet ya.” Applejack added.

“I told you the controller’s batteries died.” Rainbow Dash said.

“Yea sure they did.” Applejack replied with a wink and a smirk.

All of them laughed as the bell rung signaling that school was over where they waved at each-other then went home until it was time for the sleep over at Pinkie Pie’s house. Sunset knocked on the door when a medium stone gray girl with lavender hair, with aqua eyes, who wore a dark teal dress with a black belt in the middle with dark teal knee high boots that has lavender bows on it and had a lavender bracelet on her right arm.

“Pinkie your friends are here.” The girl said in her monotone voice when a shout of joy was heard from across the house and the next thing the group knew Pinkie Pie was standing in front of them bearing a huge smile.

“Hiya everyone I’m glad you can make it, come on in.” Pinkie Pie said.

“Thanks Pinkie.” Minra said him as his friends walked in.

“Oh and before I forget, Maud this is Minra and Wallflower Blush, Minra Wallflower this is my big sister Maud Pie.” Pinkie Pie said introducing her sister.

“It’s nice to meet you and this is Boulder, he’s my pet rock.” Maud said.

“H-hi.” Minra said as Wallflower waved.

“Enough chatter, lets go play some Plumber Trolley.” Rainbow Dash said as she darted to Pinkie Pie’s room.

“Well what are we waiting for lets go.” Pinkie Pie said as the group went ti her room.

“Alright who’s willing to get beat by me?” Rainbow Dash said holding up three extra controllers.

“Like you can beat me.” Applejack said.

“I wanna play!” Pinkie Pie shouted.

“Okay who’s the last player?” Rainbow Dash asked as Minra took the last controller.

“Me!” Minra said confidently.

The players chose their characters and made their trolleys. The game count down from three to zero when it was time to race. The rest of the friends watched in amazement as Rainbow Dash and Applejack, the two best players of this game at CHS were being slaughtered by Minra and Pinkie Pie. Applejack and Rainbow Dash gave up until it was only Minra and Pinkie Pie left. It was best four out of five with each round being a different map than the one before. Minra and Pinkie Pie’s friends were in shock at the two remaining players. The two soon found themselves in a tie with the last round being the hardest map in the game. The rest of their friends were watching in anticipation as Pinkie Pie was about ten inches away from the finish line when a red shield came from Minra who was just inches behind her causing her to fly into the air as Minra crossed the finish line, taking his victory.

“Ah poo, oh well who wants pizza?” Pinkie Pie asked her friends.

“Me!” Minra said raising his hand in the air.

“I can go for some.” Sunset replied.

“Sure.” Rainbow Dash said.

“I-I would like some.” Fluttershy and Wallflower replied.

“I’ll order some, so what would everyone like?” Twilight asked.

“I want salami with olives, and ghost peppers.” Minra replied.

“Wait, did you say ghost peppers as in one of the spiciest peppers in the world?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Yea, why?” Minra replied.

“Well it’s just that most people can’t even handle the heat that ghost peppers give off.” Rainbow Dash said.

“It’s never really affected me.” Minra replied.

“Bu-but how?” Rainbow Dash asked as Minra shrugged.

“I don’t know how either, I just found out when I was dared by the pony version of you to eat a whole ghost pepper, so when I did I felt no reaction what so ever, in fact it actually tasted sweet.” Minra explained.

“I-I’m not even gonna figure how.” Rainbow Dash said.

“Well anyway what else would anyone like?” Twilight asked.

“I w-want a vegetarian pizza.” Fluttershy said.

“Pepperoni and sausage for me.” Rainbow Dash said.

“What about the rest of you?” Twilight asked.

“I’ll have a cheese pizza.” Pinkie Pie said.

“Same, m-me too.” Sunset and Wallflower chimed in.

“What about you Rarity?” Twilight asked.

“I’ll have a salad.” Rarity said.

“Okay.” Twilight said as she dialed up Cumulative’s Pizza.

“Okay they’ll be here in twenty, so what do you wanna do now?” Twilight asked.

“We can play...Isa.” Pinkie Pie said as she pulled out a pack of Isa cards out of her hair.

“How did she do that?” Wallflower asked Sunset.

“I find it best not to question it.” Sunset responded.

The group played Isa for the time while they waited for their food, with none of them getting to the last card in their hands when Pinkie Pie’s door bell rung.

“Pizza’s here!” Pinkie Pie shouted.

“Finally, I’m starving.” Rainbow Dash added.

“Don’t worry I got it, Minra do you want to help?” Twilight asked as she got up.

“Sure.” Minra replied as he stood up and walked with Twilight to get the pizza.

Soon after paying for the food Minra went back to Pinkie Pie’s room where Minra and Twilight proceeded to pass out the food. While they ate the group played more of Isa. Most of them finished their pizza because they most of them were smalls except for the cheese pizza which was a medium as to accommodate for the three people sharing it. After that Minra went to Pinkie Pie’s bathroom to change into his pajamas then waited outside of the room to let his friends change into their pajamas. After a while Sunset opened the door to let Minra back in to the room where they proceeded to tell ghost stories, soon after everyone was starting to get sleepy so they decided it was time to go to sleep. The next day Minra stepped out of Pinkie Pie’s bedroom once more to change into his regular clothes and to allow his friends to change as well.

The week went on with Minra, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash practicing for the upcoming soccer game. Upon the day of the soccer game between Canterlot High School and Griffstone High School, the Griffstone School bus arrived at Canterlot High with the first one off the bus was an old man who was mostly bald with some hair left, with an eye that had a scar going through it, he wore a fez and a rather old looking suit, he held a cane in his hand. After him was the Griffstone soccer team’s coach. He was caramel, who was fairly well built and had milk chocolate eyes. Then followed was Griffstone's soccer team, one of which was a girl who is eggshell white in color One of which was a girl who is eggshell white in color with snow white hair that ended in lavender tips and has flame yellow eyes, the one next to her was a medium stone gray girl with sand blue hair tied into a pony tail, she has teal eyes.

“Principal Gruff it’s so nice to see you again.” Principal Celestia told the old man.

“Yea what ever, listen here hatchlings, I’m giving you half an hour to rest, use the bathroom, or what ever, just meet Coach Gaston and I at this spot, got it.” Principal Gruff said as he let out a cough.

“Students, please make Griffstone’s soccer team feel at home Principal Celestia said.

“Sup Dash it’s been a while.” The eggshell white girl said as she fist bumped Rainbow Dash.

“It certainly has been a while however this game is going to decide who is better.” Rainbow Dash replied.

“Yea, and we all know it’s going to be me.” Gilda said.

“Yea right, and Gilda this is Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Wallflower Blush, Sunset Shimmer, Rarity, Applejack and Minra, him and Pinkie Pie are going to be in the opening ceremony.” Rainbow Dash said.

“Hey nice scar, how’d you get it?” Gilda asked.

“It’s a personal story, one that I’d rather not talk about.” Minra explained.

“Well whatever, come on Dash we should catch up.” Gilda replied.

“Away from these dweebs.” Gilda muttered to herself.

“Sure thing, later.” Rainbow Dash said as she waved at her friends.

“Is it me or does Gilda seem a little bit off to you?” Minra asked his friends.

“It’s definitely not you, she’s like that unfortunately just about everyone at GHS is like that.” The medium stone gray girl responded as she walked to the group.

“Oh uh sorry.” Minra replied now regretting what he just said.

“Don’t be, my name’s Gabby it’s nice to meet you.” Gabby responded.

The group introduced each other and chatted until it was time for the beginning of the game. Where Minra’s friends except for Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. At the end of the ceremony Minra appeared in the field and transformed into his dragon human form then spewed blue flames in the air. After that was over the students who were in the opening ceremony ran off to the field to allow The Wondercolts and The Griffons to enter the field. The two representatives, Rainbow Dash and Gilda went to the middle of the field where the referee was, she held a coin in her hand and then flipped the coin. The coin landed heads side up.

“The Wondercolts take the kickoff!” The referee shouted as she blew her whistle and gave the soccer ball to the Wondercolts, than ran off to the side of the field.

The first half of the soccer game went on for about forty-five minutes until it was half time where Canterlot High School’s marching band preformed along with their school’s cheerleaders.

“I’m gonna get something to eat, want anything?” Minra asked his friends.

“A Giggles candy bar for me.” Sunset said.

“I’m good.” Fluttershy replied.

“Can y'all get me a slice of apple pie please?” Applejack asked.

“I want a slice of Pizza.” Twilight responded.

“I’m fine, thanks but can you get me a bottle of water please?” Wallflower asked.

“Me to darling.” Rarity added.

“Okay I’ll be right back.” Minra said as he left for the snack bar.

Minra came back with several bottle of water, a Giggles candy bar, a slice of pizza, a slice of apple pie and a pretzel. After he got back he handed out the items that he had bought for his friends and once that was done he sat down. Half time soon ended and the two teams switched sides as Griffstone got the ball this time after winning the coin toss. By the last thirty seconds of the game both teams were tied with twenty points each. The Wondercolts were taking the ball to the Griffon’s side when a girl on the Wondercolts team was running with the ball as three Griffon players were catching up behind her then suddenly Gilda showed up in front of her.

“Over here?” Rainbow Dash shouted as the girl kicked the ball to her.

“Go, do it, win this!” Everyone who was supporting the Wondercolts shouted as Rainbow Dash kicked the ball in a way some one who knew karate would do a kick and with a small boom the ball flew into the goal of the Griffons right before the clock hit zero.

With a characteristic ding that goes off when a point is scored. Just about everyone in the audience shouted, screamed and cheered in delight and joy at the fact that the Wondercolts had won the game. Half time came and during this time Rainbow Dash’s friends walked over and congratulated her. During this time Gilda walked over to the now celebrating friends.

“Hey, that was a pretty sick move you id back there.” Gilda said.

“It was nothing.” Rainbow Dash said pridefully.

“I guess this means you’re officially the best.” Gilda said.

“Yep, I already knew that, but you weren’t so bad your self.” Rainbow Dash responded.

“Thanks, well I better get going otherwise Principal Gruff will leave without me, see ya.” Gilda said.

“Alright, catch ya later.” Rainbow Dash responded.

Later that night the group decided to celebrate with a pizza party at Coinky-Dink World, where they ordered pizza, hamburgers and nachos. The next day Minra waved at his friends as he went through the portal back to Equestria, where all his friends where waiting.

“Hiya Minra, how was your stay in the human world, and who won?” Twilight asked.

“Well it was great, my human world friends plus a girl named Wallflower Blush and I had a sleepover where we played video games, ordered pizza and told scary stories. Also The Wondercolts won the game, it was so awesome, at the last few seconds of the game Rainbow Dash literately did a karate type kick into the goal.” Minra explained.

“Cool so who were they playing against?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Oh they played against a school called Griffstone, though there was a girl there who was friends with that version of Rainbow Dash, she was named Gilda.” Minra said.

“Oh her cool, so she’s not an animal like a dog in the human world.” Rainbow Dash said.

“So what games did you play?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well we played a game called Isa and Applejack, you, Rainbow Dash and I played a game called Ultra Plumber Trolley for the Us Me.” Minra said.

“So did I win?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“On the contrary you were the first one to loose, then it was Applejack, Pinkie Pie and I.” Minra explained.

“It sounds like you had a lot of fun.” Starlight said.

“Yea it was actually pretty fun.” Minra said.

“So any, monster or bad guy attacks?” Twilight asked.

“Nope, except I found out that the changes to my dragon pony form carried over to the human world as well.” Minra explained.

“Enough chat, lets go and get some ice cream.” Applejack said as the group went to get some ice cream.
