The Not so Averge Life of a Once Human Now Pony Named Minra

Chapter 3

“Morning everypony, why did you have me wake up so early?” Minra asked groggily.

“Well it’s because we would like you to be a teacher at Princess Twilight’s School of Friendship."

“Wait what?” Minra asked in shock.

“Well you see each element of harmony holder is a teacher and we would be honored if you would join us as a teacher? Starlight asked.

“But I’ve never taught anything in my life.” Minra said panicking.

“That’s okay at our school you can use your own style of teaching.” Applejack said.

“So what will it be?” Twilight asked.

“Please do take your time to think about your decision if you want.” Rarity said.

“I’ll do it!” Minra said confidently.

“Excellent, you can start tomorrow if you wish but in the mean time one of us could show you around campus.” Twilight said in a happy mood.

“I-I’ll do it.” Fluttershy raised her hoof shyly.

Fluttershy, Minra and Sunshine left the castle and walked to the school and after entering Fluttershy proceeded to walk him around the campus with Sunshine kept sniffing everything.

“Thanks Fluttershy for showing me around campus, see you later.” Minra said waving at Fluttershy as he and Sunshine walked away.

“No problem Minra have a good day.” Fluttershy waved back.

Later that day Minra asked Twilight if she could show him the Tree of Harmony.

“Sure I’ll be happy to.” Twilight said smiling.

“Thanks and Sunshine you stay here, the Everfree Forest is too dangerous for puppies like you.” Minra said to Sunshine as he petted her.

Minra felt like he was being watched as Twilight and him went through the forest but soon enough the two of them happened upon the Tree of Harmony. The Tree of Harmony looks to be made out of some kind of crystal with eleven branches coming out of the trunk with one five of them holding Fluttershy’s element, Pinkie Pie's element, Rainbow Dash’s element, Rarity’s element, Minra’s element, and Applejack’s element but with Twilight’s element in the trunk there’s also vines hanging from some of the branches that have glowing orbs on them. How ever when Minra walked closer to the tree his element started glowing and shot out of the tree, hurdling to Minra then striking him in the chest even though he was in his Earth Pony form he felt no pain as a golden armor sprouted from the element. The armor was gold in coloration, and it had fit him so perfectly like it was meant for him and him alone, there was even to holes for his wings for his dragon form as if it was aware of his ability. Then the element started changing it’s shape into that of Minra’s cutie mark.

“Whoa this armor looks so cool and it’s so comfortable.” Minra said checkout his element holder.

“I must admit that element holder does look pretty cool however your element must be returned to the tree however you can keep the holder.” Twilight said

“Wait why do I have to return my element?” Minra asked giving off a confuse look.

“Well if you don’t then the tree wouldn’t be strong enough to keep the Everfree forest under control.” Twilight said.

“Oh okay, then how do I return the element to the tree?” Minra asked.

“Leave that to me!” Twilight said grinning as she took the element and placed it back in the tree.

“Well that was easy.” Minra said while a little disappointed expecting the task to be complicated.

The two ponies walked home. The next day Twilight had scheduled an assembly in the school’s court yard.

“Fillies and Gentlecolts I’m glad that you have come to this very special assembly, for the introduction of our newest Teacher and the seventh element of harmony, Minra would you please come forward.” Twilight said as she motioned to Minra and gave off a smile.

Minra walked up to the podium and spoke into the microphone.

“Hello my name is Minra, I’m your new teacher at Princess Twilight Sparkle’s School of Friendship. However I’m not just your new teacher I am also the seventh element of harmony and I look forward to meeting you.” Minra said.

The crowd gasped and started clapping and Twilight trotted back up to the podium.

“Again thank you for coming to the assembly you may now be excused.” Twilight said as the bell rung singling that is was time for lunch everyone who was attending left the court yard and most of them headed to the cafeteria.

“Just remember if need any help or questions you could always come to us.” Twilight said.

Minra and Sunshine walked to his classroom and double checked everything, however Sunshine sat in front of him wagging her tail.

“You’re right Sunshine everything will be okay.” Minra told Sunshine while pattering her head and munching on a mix berry scone that Pinkie Pie gave him as a gift for being the newest teacher at the school.

Several minutes had gone by when the school bell rung singling that it was time to head to class.

Minra let out a deep breath when nine students walked in and took random seats. He knew that he would have a couple of creatures that weren't ponies but five that was a shock not that he minded in fact he was happy which was a welcome opposite from his home world. Going down his list calling down his list of students.

“Sandbar?”

“Here.” Sandbar said raising his hand, Sandbar is a yellow Earth Pony with a turquoise mane, tail and eyes with three sea turtles for his cutie mark.

“Yona?”

“Yona is here!” Yona said raising a hoof, she’s a Yak from Yakyakastan, she has brown furr with green eyes and two tied up braids, that Rarity had tied for her.

“Smolder?” Minra asked.

An orange dragon who stands on two legs with yellow horns, magenta fin and tail, and blue eyes.

“Gallus?”

Raising his hand a blue griffin named Gallus spoke saying here. Gallus was blue in coloration with the tips of yellow tipped feathers on his head, with blue eyes.

“Silverst?” Minra was about ask when a hippogriff interrupted him.

“Here! Oops sorry for interrupting you Professor Minra my name is Silverstream.” The hippogriff said.

The hippogriff was light pink in color with light blue mane and tail and purple eyes, she seemed to be wearing some kind of necklace.

“Oh, don’t apologize and just call me by my name.” Minra said giggling and Silverstream simply nodded excitedly.

“Ocellus, please let me know if I said your name correctly?” Minra asked.

“Oh that’s correct.” Ocellus responded.

Ocellus is a light blue changing with a red back and transparent pink mane and wings and a singular horn on her head with blue eyes.

“My name is Minra and this is my dog Sunshine.” Minra said pointing to Sunshine.

“Now as you may know I’m the seventh element of harmony.”

Raising her claw Smolder asked what his element was.

“It’s self sacrifice.” Minra explained.

Smolder had let out a confused huh.

“Let me explain, you know of six elements, five of which have to deal with friendship however self sacrifice involves those five elements such as generosity, honesty, loyalty, kindness and laughter, but anyway tell me about you guys and gals.” Minra said remembering the times where he had saved Rainbow Dash's life.

Everypony was on board with Minra’s request.

“Okay so who want’s to go first?” Minra asked.

Silver Stream raised her claw.

“My name is Silverstreem, I’m a hippogriff from Mount Aris where hippogriffs lived and now live after the Storm King’s Defeat.

One after one the students spoke the day went on with school ending.

“Minra how was your first day of teaching go.” Twilight asked.

“It was awesome, the students were really cool, though I have one question who’s the Storm King?” Minra asked.

“Oh he was a bad dude who stole the power of Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence and I but he got turned to stone and broke into pieces which interned freed the hippogriffs from their fear of him.” Twilight said.
